The camshaft went out, along with the rocker arms, cam phasers, there is a box on the passenger side wheel well that goes out and will not allow the truck to shift or go into park. There is now something wrong with the automatic start/stop as the light continues to be on in the dash. Things started to go out as soon as the warranty expired… The truck has 80kmi. We fix one problem only for more to pop up. We purchased the jeep brand new and everything since it has had one problem after another.
I need to report an issue. After bringing my Jeep in for a minor muffler noise, the dealership contacted me and informed me that the vehicle would not start. They suggested it could be related to the diesel fuel, but they were unable to identify the exact cause. To rule this out, I contacted the city to have the fuel from the gas station tested, and no contamination was found. This was the same station where I had filled up the day before. Additionally, I had already driven the Jeep approximately 80 miles prior to leaving it at the dealership, which further indicates the fuel was not the issue. The dealership proceeded to drain about three-quarters of the diesel from the tank, emptied it completely, and replaced the bottom fuel lines. However, the problem persisted. They then replaced the fuel pump, but even after that, the issue continued. Eventually, they determined that the fuel pump itself was defective. Importantly, this is the same fuel pump that had already been replaced once before under recall. please let me know if you need evidence. I have all the email from city and more txt , etc.
The contact owns a 2022 Jeep Gladiator. The contact stated the vehicle failed to accelerate over 40 MPH, with the "Service Transmission" warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed that the clutch had failed. The dealer informed the contact that the vehicle had previously been included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V116000 (Power Train); for the clutch, and the remedy, which involved replacing the clutch, had been completed. The dealer confirmed that the VIN was no longer under the recall. The dealer was waiting for the technician and the manufacturer to confirm if the vehicle would be covered under warranty and whether the parts would be provided. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 49,500.

Engine began making a ticking noise and quickly began misfiring and displaying error messages. Dealership diagnosed issue as a camshaft failure, and which is a very common issue on the 3.6L V6. Issue happened on a rural road at night, but could've been a serious safety issue if it had happened in a different setting.

The High-Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP) failed while I was entering a downhill curve on a paved but narrow mountain road with no shoulder. The HPFP had been under an active recall, (Y78 / NHTSA 21V-880) but every time we went in for service our Jeep dealership said a remedy was not yet available. When I asked if it was safe to drive, they said yes, continue to drive the vehicle and that they would call us when a remedy became available. Not very sage advice. The failure happened while we were on vacation in a remote area of New Mexico, four hours away from home. An unrecognizable warning light flashed but did not remain on. The engine remained running, but the HPFP failure caused a complete loss of power to the engine and transmission. Steering became difficult. I gently braked and coasted to a safe spot. Luckily that spot was a forest service road about a quarter of a mile from where the Jeep lost power. We had the vehicle towed to the nearest Jeep Dealership. They confirmed that the HPFP failed. It took 2 months for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V. (FCA), and that dealership to address the HPFP issue. At the end of 2 months, they called and said the vehicle was fixed and ready. While driving home from the dealership a check engine light came on. That was [XXX]. We had the vehicle towed to our local Jeep dealership. Our dealership checked and said that there were still metal shavings in the fuel system. Our dealership and FCA have not found a solution and our Jeep is still inoperable and setting at the dealership. On [XXX], traveling at the speed limit of 70mph, crossing from Illinois to Indiana my Rear Locker engaged light came on, on the dashboard. I immediately pressed the disengage button... The warning light came on, flashing, but never indicated that the rear locker was disengaged. I then immediately pulled over the vehicle at a safe location. Where i tried unsuccessfully to disengage the locker... I ended up turning the vehicle off, waiting a few minutes, and then turning it back on. The warning light did not initially turn back on. Three more times on the way back on that day, it did turn back on. The third time it never did turn off. I performed a few tests to make sure the Locker was not actually engaged. However, the system continues to tell me that the Rear Locker is engaged. Even though it is not engaged... I'm concerned that the control system for the Rear locker is compromised and poses a substantial risk to drive on the highway in its current condition. Persistent burning smell from the manual clutch which has had a recall for over a year. I have contacted jeep multiple times to facilitate a trade for the vehicle as I can't use it for the intended purpose. Can get no response from the dealer or Jeep. Dealer says there is no available repair for the recall and nothing they can do.

I was driving when suddenly I got a message that said “service shifter” I got it 4 times flashing and suddenly I lost steering power, it got hard and couldn’t move the steering wheel and I almost crashed, this has happened many times and when I took it to the dealer ship they said “‘nothing was found” when clearly I have proof of the messages and I have witness”s that have been with me when it’s happened, twice I almost crashed. I’m scared to even drive the truck now.

I have an open recall for my jeep. Have been advised of the issue in April. It is now June and there is still no parts/fix identified for the hazard. In this case the clutch of the vehicle can cause a fire- which to mean seems to be a significant breach of safety. The issue can appear with or without warning. To me this is completely an unacceptable delay. I have tried to work with my manufacturer and dealership on alternative solutions to include trading the vehicle in, and have yet to receive any form of support from Jeep.
Safety Recall has been issued for Jeep Gladiator Clutch Recall campaign 23V116000. My vehicle (VIN [XXX]) is a recalled vehicle. I have been notified by the auto manufacturer, but there is no remedy for the affected part and no timeline for when a remedy will be identified. Considering the potential impact of this safety recall, not having a remedy is an unacceptable response. I have contacted FCA and my dealership and FCA customer service and have yet to receive guidance or resolution on this issue. Driving an unsafe vehicle is not acceptable to me or my family. On Sept 23, the vehicle went into the dealership service department to replace an apparent faulty transmission oil pan gasket, and today October 14, my Gladiator had to be towed to the dealership because the problem was not resolved, causing the check engine light to come on and additional loss of transmission fluid, apparently coming from the main seal.
The clutch burned out, fly wheel with hot spots, on a 2022 Gladiator with 4400 miles only. A lot of smoke was coming out from underneath the car. We have to get out of it. The car in at the dealer trying to get repair. We don't know if it was a pressure plate malfunction. There was a burning smell 3 days prior to the break down. I know there was a recall for faulty clutch on wranglers n gladiators. Same symptoms as my 2022 Gladiator.
