Was driving on highway going 60 miles following traffic my car suddenly stalled took me a little bit to pull over, switched off the car, the car made a funny sound. Waited 5 mins and the car started again. My car is constantly stalling, doesn’t give me any warning signals and the Jeep dealership I go to cannot figure out what it is. It takes about min before my car can restart and i keep moving

I will be going 50-65 mph down the highway and my jeep will just die. It will die for about 10-15 seconds then start again. This is very dangerous. I have talked to multiple people that this has happened too.

The V62 fuel pump recall was repaired in 2021. Recently this vehicle has had hard starts again, misfires, engine light came on. The vehicle was taken in to certified repair shop. The shop states cannot diagnose without tearing the only thing apart and a high expense. The shop believes it could be lifters or possibly cam but they are unsure even though the systems to this vehicle having a hard start and misfiring relates to this V62 fuel pump relay that is relates to the cam shaft sensor and causes hard starts and misfires. The car is not driveable more than a short distance. The vehicle is unsafe to drive due to the fact you do not know when this vehicle will stall or start again. The V62 recall pet fuel pump relay has malfunctioned. This part was repair but is a faulty part, a lemon, and the manufacturer should be standing behind this part and their product. I have discussed this with the repair shop and Chrysler/Jeep and now pursing with you due to the safety of this vehicle, the defective recall part, and the fact the manufacturer needs to stand behind their product.

I was driving down a hill, came to a stop, and it died. I put the car in park, and turned it off and on. There were no messages on the dashboard. The car started, so I took a left turn and suddenly the car stopped moving. The RPM went up, but the car didn't drive. It kicked back and it finally started driving but with the car hesitating. I was in the middle of a very busy intersection. The car died 3 times yesterday, and today it died 2 times.

My vehicle while I am driving completely stalls on me and I have to wait at least 45 minutes to turn my vehicle on. In 2001 Jeep was forced to do a recall however the situation is still the same with the jeeps stalling. This is a situation that can be life threatening when on a highway if an accident occurs.

We were traveling at approx 75 mph on [XXX] in Georgia when the Jeep completely stopped and shut off - lost all power and we had to coast to the shoulder. Thankfully no one was close behind us. The power steering went out and we could not start it back up. We had to get it towed twice to a Jeep dealership for diagnosis. Was told the fuel pump relay needed to be replaced bc of active recall, but that also both fuel pumps had to be replaced. Said that those are the reasons why Jeep wouldn't run. Called Jeep Customer Care and was advised to have the dealership repair, pay for the fuel pumps and then turn in cost under Case #[XXX] and they would reimburse for the parts and labor of the fuel pumps. The cost totaled over $3000 for the 2 pumps and labor and it could take 2 weeks. Told the dealer that we live in Virginia and asked for a loaner or rental car. They said they can't provide either. So we had to rent a car and drive back to Virginia. Then had to rent a car to drive back to Georgia to pick up the Jeep. The Service Rep was not very helpful and was actually very rude along with the service tech who did the repairs. He purposely wrote on our paperwork that the fuel pumps didn't go bad bc of the fuel pump relay so that we would not get reimbursed. But research shows that the faulty fuel pump relay does indeed damage the fuel pumps. After spending over $4k between repairs and additional costs caused by this recall issue, I filed the claim as I was told to do through Jeep Customer Care. They denied it saying that since the service tech specifically wrote that it wasn't the fault of the recalled part, they weren't going to pay it. We were told to have the dealer replace the pumps which we could have done ourselves had we known they would deny our claim. We did what Jeep Customer Care told us to and then they denied our claim anyway. We could have been seriously hurt and this wasn't the first time the Jeep had done this. Vehicle has stalled over twenty times, whether driving on the highway over 60 mph or driving locally within 20 MPH. Initially stalled December 25, 2022 while driving home on Christmas Day with my entire family, driving full speed on the highway. I felt the stall and pulled over as quickly as I could. Attempted to restart several times and engine would crank but not start until after 5-7 attempts and several minutes. Since then I continue to experience the same stalling and attempts to restart vehicle. Took to service center multiple times and they are unable to determine the issue. Fuel pump relay was changed twice by the dealership. I had to pay $1500 one time as they said the cost was not covered, which is ridiculous since the problem reoccurred many times after that. Most recently, fast forward to almost 1.5 years later and the issue is still occurring. Now it stalled and appears to be rolling back when in drive until I shift the gear to park and move the gear several times. It has been losing traction and power. I really need someone to determine a resolution to the issue as this is a severe safety issue and I am very concerned about driving it.

The battery failed in my vehicle after receiving recall repairs at the service department. The dealership stated that the malfunction happened after first installing a new alternator which was a bad part and shut the vehicle pcm down and they had to replace those components but won’t give me a new battery after stating that it was there mistake but battery’s aren’t cover under warranty components if damaged while repairing other components inside the vehicle. I have contacted the manufacturer and filled out a report for the components and complaints I have experienced with my vehicle in this service dealership. I need help and I have the documents showing that nothing was wrong with any component of my electrical system prior to them supposedly repairing the manufacture safety recalls.

Alternator, Fuel Pump, and Brake Booster Water Shield all recall parts were supposed to be repaired at the Jeep service department on June 18 entered in to service department on June 12, 2023 and ready for pick up on June 19, 2023. The service department informed me that after installing the new parts that they shutdown the PCM had to be replace. After picking vehicle up from the Jeep service department the car shut down on the freeway which it stalled in the middle of the busy freeway which could have resulted in death which is a safety concern. After vehicle was safely pushed to side of road the vehicle was towed to home. I called the dealership next morning they informed me that I would have to repay for another tow back to the dealership to see what the problem was but I had to wait for an open appointment for this service so waited and finally the service department stated that I could send the vehicle back to service now on July 05, 2023 after week of calling and not getting an appointment. As indicated on the receipt from the Jeep service department on June 19, 2023 the vehicle failed because of recall parts failing. Now the second time the vehicle is in service the Jeep service department indicated that the recall parts failed again and now they don’t know what’s wrong with the vehicle at this point and they are trying to find remedies such as making me pay for a new TIPM that was damaged from the burnt out recall parts after being fixed. The vehicle is still not operational and no loaner vehicle was offered to me since this is my second time experiencing the same issues from the recalls that supposed to have been fixed which can put me and my family in danger without a proper solution or remedy.

Recall 19V-813 was initiated on November 14th, 2019. It is now May 17th, 2023 and the manufacture still is OUT OF STOCK on this part needed to remedy the situation. I'm reporting this because it states if the mfg. cannot remedy in a reasonable amount of time to report it to NHTSA which is what I'm doing. If something happens regarding safety everyone is now on notice that it's unacceptable to be backordered for a recall part for 4 years.

I have had an open recall on my jeep since November 2019. I have called into both of the local jeep dealerships in the area for help with the open recall and was told that they do not have the parts needed to repair the recall. I asked what my next best steps were because this is a safety hazard and based on the recall details, could result in the car coming to a stop while I’m driving without any notice which could lead to an accident or could potentially be fatal. I was told they have no timeframe on when they will be getting in the needed parts and that it could be months. I asked for a rental and was told they do not offer this service even in situations like this. I’ve been driving in fear since learning of the recall and am hoping you can help me with a resolution.

Prior to bringing our Grand Cherokee (GC) to the dealer to fix the apply the fix for the fuel pump relay recall, the GC stalled once every one or two months. After dealer applied the solution to the fuel pump relay recall, GC stalls almost daily and sometimes more than once daily. Usually, the GC starts just fine. During the first drive of the day, as we take our foot off the gas, the GC stalls. This is dangerous and life-threatening because the stall has occurred on busy streets and on the highway. ATTACHMENT: I took a look a the external relay that the dealer installed. I'm suspicious about the relay. I looked the relay part number online and found that the relay was commonly used for another application and not for fuel pumps. Please check the relay part number in the attachment and verify that this is the correct relay for this fuel pump relay recall.

Yes the Jeep developed a stall while going down the highway then would crank and run for 3 or seconds and die again and that’s all it would do. Check engine light comes on as well as the lighting bolt on dash. I believe the fuel pump is part of the problem seeing how at a qt tank of gas it will die and only run when more gas is added but also the body control module cause it keeps throwing diff codes after I fix the issues. As well as the way it cranks n dies like security issue. This is very common for jeeps everywhere

The vehicle (2013 GC Trailhawk ) engine stalls while driving. The electrical remains on but engine oil error comes on and I can feel there is missing as if engine is not getting enough fuel, there is no power when you accelerate and the engine stalls. My safety is put in risk because this happens while driving on the highway and normal streets. I have taken it to my Jeep dealer (John Hughes, Perth, Australia ) and they too claimed to have never heard of this issue. Fuel pump relay was already repalced some time back. The issue continues and they claim they cannot figure out the problem. The engine will re-start after about 10 minutes powered off and drives fine until the next time it stalls, which has become more frequent. There is no warning when the engine will stall, it just stops running. This problem has been going on now for over six months for me with the stalling becoming more frequent.- Perth, WA, Austalia This has happened 5 times now in the last 6 months.

Went into dealership to address fuel pump recall v62. 3rd instance since 2013. Car would not start at pickup after recall was performed. Still same issue with fuel pump relay failure that results in a no-start condition if not running. Dealership rechecked work performed and started car after multiple starts. On the drive home car stalled in right hand turn at 30mph or less.

RECALLS 19V-913 AND 15V-115 AROUND THE 28TH DAY OF DECEMBER, 2020, I WAS IN PUBLIC STREET ON MY WAY TO MY MOTHER'S HOME AT NIGHT IN MY VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO SLOW DOWN. I BEGAN TO PUSH THE ENGINE PEDAL AND IT DIDN'T REACTED. IT WAS DIFFICULT TO PUSH THE BREAK. I WAS NEAR THE ENTRANCE OF THE COMMUNITY GATE AND, BECAUSE I WAS DRIVING SLOWLY, I WAS ABLE TO PUT THE CAR ON NEUTRO AND MANAGED TO ENTER THE COMMUNITY AND LEFT THE CAR INSIDE THE GATE COMMUNITY BECAUSE WAS NOT ABLE TO REACH MY MOTHER'S HOUSE. IN SEPTEMBER OF 2018, THE EXTERNAL FUEL PUMP RELAY WAS REPLACED. THE CAR WAS BROUGHT TO THE DEALER AGAIN IN MARCH AND NOVEMBER OF 2019 FOR THE SAME PROBLEM BUT THEY ALLEGED NOTHING WAS FOUND. THE LAST TIME WAS IN THE 11TH OF AUGUST OF 2020, WHEN THE CAR WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER BECAUSE IT STALLED AND COULD NOT BE TURN ON; THE FUEL PUMP RELAY CONTROL CIRCUIT OVERLAY HARNESS WAS REPLACED, (ACCORDING TO WORK ORDER). MY VEHICLE OFTEN SPUTTERS AND SHAKES VIOLENTLY WHILE ACCELERATING, ESPECIALLY WHEN TRYING TO ACHIEVE HIGH SPEEDS QUICKLY (WHILE ENTERING FREEWAY TRAFFIC FROM AN ON RAMP OR WHEN PASSING INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC FOR EXAMPLE). VEHICLE HAS BEEN IN SHOP 2 TIMES IN LAST WEEK WITH ISSUES WITH THE ETC (ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL) CAUSED BY THE FUEL PUMP. FAILURE TO START FROM A COLD AND A WARM START HAS HAPPENED 6 TIMES. FIRST REPAIR COST $553.66 AND TODAY'S REPAIR OF THE FUEL PUMP WHILE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY (SINCE THE FIRST RECALL PART FAILED) DOESN'T HELP FIX THE PROBLEM. I BOUGHT IT DEC 2019 W/ 102K, IT NOW HAS 120K I DRIVE 400 MI/WK FOR WORK. I HAD TO BUY AN EXTENDED WARRANTY BECAUSE OF THE MILES AND THE WARRANTY CO. I TOOK MY VEHICLE INTO THE JEEP DEALER AND THEY TOLD ME THAT PUTTING IT ON THE ANALYZER WOULD DO NOT GOOD. I WANT TO KNOW WHEN THIS RECALL WILL BE RESOLVED.

ON SEPTEMBER 1, 2020 SHORTLY AFTER STARTING THE VEHICLE AND WHILE IN MOTION, THE ENGINE STOPPED CAUSING LOSS OF CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. I WAS ABLE TO BRING THE VEHICLE TO STOP IN ROADWAY WITH HARD PRESSURE ON BRAKES. FORTUNATELY, NO CONTACT WAS MADE WITH PERSON OR PROPERTY. I ATTEMPTED TO RE-START THE VEHICLE BUT IT WOULD ONLY CRANK AND NOT START. SEVERAL MINUTES LATER WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE HAS HAD TROUBLE STARTING ON MANY OCCASIONS PRIOR BUT THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME IT STOPPED WHILE DRIVING. THE ONLY INDICATION THE VEHICLE HAD LOST POWER WAS WHEN I ATTEMPTED TO SLOW THE VEHICLE AND TURN THE WHEEL. PRIOR TO THIS THE DEALERSHIP HAS EXAMINED THE ISSUE ON AT LEAST FOUR SEPARATE OCCASIONS SPANNING YEARS. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THE FUEL PUMP RELAY HAS BEEN REPLACED TWICE ON THIS VEHICLE. AFTER BOTH OF THESE ALLEGED REPAIRS THE VEHICLE HAS EXHIBITED THE SAME SYMPTOMS AND RETURNED TO THE DEALERSHIP. IN THE LAST VISIT WITH THE DEALERSHIP ON JUNE 23, 2020 AND PHONE CALL WITH FCA US LLC'S CUSTOMER SERVICE ON SEPTEMBER 1, 2020 I WAS DIRECTLY INFORMED THAT NO SOLUTION EXISTS. IN 2015 THIS VEHICLE WAS RECALLED UNDER R09 FOR THE SAME FUEL PUMP RELAY PROBLEM. DODGE DURANGO VEHICLES HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. FIAT/CHRYSLER/JEEP CORP. I CONTACTED MOPAR REGARDING THE PROCEDURE TO REPAIR THE FUEL PUMP RELAY RECALL. I WAS ADVISED NO PARTS WERE AVAILABLE YET, AND THE DEALERSHIP SHOULD USE A REPLACEMENT PART TO TEMPORARILY REPAIR THE RECALL. RECALL V62 WAS REPAIRED, ALONG WITH 2 OTHER RECALLS, STATED BY THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT IN MARCH 2020. JUNE 8, 2020 MY VEHICLE STALLED WHILE DRIVING, I IMMEDIATELY INFORMED THE DEALERSHIP, AND I WAS TOLD THE REPAIR NEVER WAS COMPLETED. AFTER SPEAKING WITH MOPAR AND REPRESENTATIVES AT THE DEALERSHIP, THE DEALERSHIP FAILED TO SUBMIT THE CORRECT DOCUMENTATION TO MOPAR, ALSO GAVE ME MISINFORMATION, AND THE TEMPORARY FIX FAILED. WIFE WAS TERRIFIED BECAUSE SHE COULDN'T MANEUVER VEHICLE TO SAFETY LEAVING HER STUCK WITH CARS TRAVELING AT 45-50 MPH THROUGH THE INTERSECTION AND SHE COULDN'T SAFELY EXIT THE VEHICLE. SHE CALLED ME FOR HELP AND AS I WAS ON THE PHONE WITH HER TWO BARELY MISSED HER WITH SCREECHING BRAKES AND HER SCREAMING. I WAS 2 MINUTES FROM HER AND AS I WAS APPROACHING THE VEHICLE STARTED. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP ALL LAST WEEK TO REPORT THE DAILY STALLS & WENT BACK IN THIS PAST MONDAY, THE 27TH, AFTER THEY DID NOT RETURN MY CALLS TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT. IT STALLED THERE IN THE DEALERSHIP PARKING LOT, & THEY GOT A TECH TO RUN THE CODES & IT CAME BACK AS THE RECALL PART. THEN THEY RAN SPECIFIC DIAGNOSTICS PER FCA'S REQUEST & SAID THEY COULDN'T DUPLICATE IT. SINCE MONDAY, IT HAS STALLED TWICE SO FAR TODAY, ON WEDNESDAY. THE CAR HAS STALLED WHILE IDLING WITH MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE, WHILE DRIVING IT, AND UPON START IT WILL IMMEDIATELY DIE AFTER CRANKING UP. I CAN NOT AFFORD THAT RIGHT NOW, AND I DECLINED REPAIRS. I CALLED THE HEADQUARTERS FOR CHRYSLER/JEEP DEALERSHIP AND ASKED FOR THEM TO PAY FOR THE REPAIRS AS THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND A MALFUNCTIONING PART RELATED TO A RECALL, AND THEY REFUSED. FUEL PUMP RELAY RECALL. THE FUEL PUMP RELAY RECALL WAS PERFORMED ON THIS VEHICLE BY DEALERSHIP. RECENTLY, THE VEHICLE BEGIN HAVING THE SAME SYMPTOMS AS IN THE RECALL. VEHICLE WOULD STOP RUNNING AFTER BEING CRANKED, WOULD FAIL TO CRANK, AND WOULD HAVE EXTENDED CRANKING TIME. I OBSERVED NO FUEL PUMP SOUNDS DURING NO RUN/ NO CRANK CONDITIONS. ASE CERTIFIED SHOP DIAGNOSED FAULT; REPAIR WAS REPLACEMENT OF FUEL PUMP RELAY INSTALLED DURING RECALL. VEHICLE HAS HAD ZERO FAILURE SINCE THIS REPAIR. THIS FAILURE IS AS DANGEROUS AS ORIGINAL RECALL FAILURE, AND OCCURRED WITHIN APPROXIMATELY 60,000 MILES OF RECALL. SHOP MANAGER STATED THIS WAS SECOND SUCH FAILURE HIS SHOP HAS FIXED ON ALREADY "FIXED BY RECALL" VEHICLES.

WHEN YOU PUSH THE IGNITION BUTTON, THE ENGINE CRANKS BUT IT WON'T START. IT TAKES A FEW ATTEMPTS BEFORE THE VEHICLE ACTUALLY STARTS. AFTER IT STARTS YOU START TO DRIVE IT AND THE IT STALLS AS YOU ARE DRIVING IT. THIS HAPPENS MOSTLY WHEN THE ENGINE IS COLD (MORNINGS OR AFTER IT HASN'T BEEN USED FOR SEVERAL HOURS). AFTER RESEARCHING IT THERE IS A FUEL PUMP RELAY RECALL ON SAME MODEL AND YEAR AS MINE. THE RECALL IS FOR THE FUEL PUMP RELAY.. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS WHEN DRIVING THE HEHE VEHICLE AS IT STALLS AT ANY GIVEN MOMENT.

BOUGHT MY CAR FROM PARKS FORD OF WESLEY CHAPEL ON 7/16/17. 2 DAYS LATER, THE CAR HAD TROUBLE STARTING.MY MECHANIC LOOKED IT OVER. IT HAD A POWER STEERING RACK LEAK AND EMBEDDED DIRT UNDERNEATH ITS CARRIER. BROUGHT CAR BACK TO FORD. THEY FOUND NOTHING. CALLED AGAIN BECAUSE OF SAME PROBLEM. WAS TOLD BY MANAGER DUBER TO TRY LOCKING AND UNLOCKING CAR TO ENGAGE STARTER. DID NOT WORK. BROUGHT TO JEEP. THEY FOUND THAT A RECALL ON THE RELAY TO THE FUEL PUMP WAS NEVER FIXED. THEY ALSO SAID THE FRONT SHOCKS WERE BLOWN AND LEAKING AND NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. WARRANTY COMPANY SAID THAT CAR HAD PREEXISTING CONDITIONS AND SHOULD HAVE NEVER LEFT THE DEALERSHIP. THEY REFUSED TO FIX IT. THIS GREAT PRICE WAS FALSE REPRESENTATION AND MISLEADING. I NEVER WOULD HAVE BOUGHT THE CAR KNOWING IT NEEDED ALL OF THIS WORK.

MY CAR IS CURRENTLY AT 76K MILES. SINCE AROUND 20K MILES, MY CAR HAS HAD ISSUES WITH STARTING THAT HAPPENS INTERMITTENTLY, SLOW/NO RESPONSE FROM PUSH BUTTON START, SLOW/NO RESPONSE WITH SMART ENTRY SYSTEM WHEN LOCKING/UNLOCKING DOORS. ALL OF THESE ISSUES ARE VERY INTERMITTENT. TO GO INTO MORE DETAIL ABOUT THE STARTING ISSUE, THE CAR WOULD START COMPLETELY, BUT THEN SHORTLY AFTER THE RPM WOULD DROP TO 0 AND THE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS WOULD STAY ON. WHEN TRYING TO PUSH THE START BUTTON AGAIN, IT WOULD TRY TO CRANK FOR 15 SECONDS. IT'S NECESSARY TO COMPLETELY POWER OFF THE CAR TO PROPERLY START THE CAR. SOMETIMES THE ISSUE PRESENTS ITSELF IMMEDIATELY AFTER. THESE ISSUES HAPPEN WITH BOTH KEY FOBS EVEN AFTER SWITCHING TO FRESH BATTERIES. I'VE TAKEN IT TO JEEP DEALERSHIP 4-5 TIMES WITH NO RESOLUTION. THEY HAVE REPLACED THE FUEL PUMP RELAY TWICE FOR ATTEMPT TO RESOLVE STARTING ISSUE. THEY WERE NEVER ABLE TO DUPLICATE OR NO CODES WOULD PRESENT THEMSELVES. I HAVE STRONG SUSPICION OF THE TIPM (TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE) FAILING, WHICH IS APPROXIMATELY $1200 TO REPLACE. EVEN THOUGH I HAVE THE EXTENDED WARRANTY, JEEP WILL NOT REPLACE UNTIL DUPLICATED. I EVEN LEFT THE CAR AT JEEP FOR A WEEK ONE OF THOSE VISITS. THE ISSUES HAPPEN ALMOST EVERY OTHER DAY OR ON A VERY BAD WEEK, EVERY DAY THE CAR IS USED. JEEP CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY POOR AND I'VE BEEN STUCK WITH THIS ISSUE FOR WAY TOO LONG. THE STARTING ISSUE EVEN HAPPENED TODAY, TWICE.

I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE MY VEHICLE. THE FIRST ISSUE HAPPENED A FEW MONTHS AGO, THE CAR REFUSED TO START AND HAD TO BE TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP TO GET FIXED. THERE WAS AN ELECTRICAL FAULT, AND COULD HAVE HAPPENED AT ANY POINT. CURRENTLY THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN AT THE DEALERSHIP SINCE NOVEMBER 10TH. THE VEHICLE HESITATES BEFORE MOVING FORWARD WHEN I STEP ON THE GAS, THEN SOMETHING ENGAGES AND IT JUMPS FORWARD. SOMETIMES IT COMES TO A STOP BEFORE IT RAPIDLY ACCELERATES. THE JEEP HAS BEEN AT ATLANTIC JEEP FOR ALMOST FOUR WEEKS AND THE DEALER HAS NOT BEEN FORTHCOMING IN EXPLAINING WHAT IS GOING ON. THEY CAN'T SEEM TO FIGURE IT OUT THEMSELVES AND I AM IN FEAR OF DRIVING THIS CAR IN THE FUTURE IF THE SAME PROBLEMS OCCUR. THERE SEEMS TO BE A BIG RISK OF HAVING A CRASH WITH THE ISSUES DESCRIBED ABOVE. THIS HAPPENED ON HIGHWAYS, STREETS, SLOW OR FAST DIDN'T SEEM TO HAVE AN AFFECT. AFTER SIX MONTHS OF NO NOTICE OF THE AVAILABILITY OF THE PART TO REPAIR THE RECALL ON THE FUEL PUMP RELAY, I SCHEDULED SERVICE APPOINTMENT FOR 8/15. THE DEALER STILL DID NOT HAVE THE PART. I RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM HEATHER, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER. SHE CLAIMED I NEVER RECEIVED NOTIFICATION FOR ANY OF THE 3 RECALLS BECAUSE THE PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE, EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE. SHE SAID SOMEONE IN THE SERVICE CENTER IS SUPPOSED TO SCREEN THE APPOINTMENTS AND CONTACT OWNER IF PART IS NOT AVAILABLE AND ACKNOWLEDGED THAT THE DEALERSHIP HAD FAILED TO DO THIS. I SCHEDULED ANOTHER APPOINTMENT TO REPAIR RECALL AND GET BRAKES EVALUATED. I DROPPED MY CAR OFF 10 AM ON 9/4. AT 1:45, I HAD NOT HEARD FROM THE DEALERSHIP AND CALLED AND LEFT VOICEMAIL ASKING ABOUT MY CAR. AT 4 PM, STILL NO WORD FROM THE DEALERSHIP, I CALLED AGAIN AND LEFT ANOTHER MESSAGE. AT 5 PM, STILL NO WORD, I TRIED WEB CHAT ON DEALER SITE AND REP DIDNT HAVE ANY INFORMATION. THE DEALER SERVICE DEPT CLOSED AT 6, SO I WENT TO GET MY CAR. THE SERVICE REP DIDNT KNOW WHERE MY CAR WAS. ON HIS DESK WAS A POST-IT WITH MY NAME AND PHONE NUMBER ON IT. HE RETURNED AFTER 10-15 MINUTES AND TOLD ME THE MECHANICS FOUND SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY BRAKES (STARTED AFTER 8/15 SERVICE) AND WANTED MORE TIME WITH IT. I ASKED IF MY CAR WAS IN A STATE I COULD TAKE IT HOME, I HAD BEEN TO THE DEALER ENOUGH TIMES ALREADY TO GET REPAIR. WHEN HE RETURNED, HE HANDED ME THE KEY AND MADE NO ADDITIONAL COMMENTS. I ASKED IF THE RECALL HAD BEEN REPAIRED AND HE SAID, "NO." SECOND TRIP TO DEALER FOR THE FUEL PUMP RELAY RECALL, THEY HAD MY CAR FOR OVER EIGHT HOURS AND DIDN'T REPAIR THE RECALL OR ANYTHING ELSE. I EMAILED HEATHER TO SHARE MY EXPERIENCE AT THE DEALERSHIP. TO DATE I HAVE RECEIVED NO RESPONSE FROM DEALER AND THE EMAIL SITE FOR JEEP DOESNT WORK. I WILL HAVE TO FIND ANOTHER DEALER TO FIX THE FUEL RELAY RECALL AND BRAKE ISSUE.

I DID RESEARCH, AND MY LOCAL DEALER CAN GET A TIPM MODULE WHICH INCLUDES THE FUEL PUMP RELAY, IN JUST 2 DAYS. I CAN HAVE MY VEHICLE REPAIRED IN JUST A WEEK. YET I'M STILL WAITING ON PARTS THAT FCA HAS "APPROVED" FOR THE REPAIR. FCA HAS STILL NOT OFFERED TO GIVE ME A SAFE RENTAL VEHICLE. AFTER SPEAKING WITH THE RECALL REPRESENTATIVE, I WAS TOLD PARTS "MAY" BE AVAILABLE BY THE END OF AUGUST. I FEEL FCA IS DOING ANYTHING THAT THEY CAN TO SAVE MONEY RATHER THAN FIX MY CAR. I HAVE RECEIVED A RECALL FOR MY JEEP: THE TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE (TIPM) CONTAINS AN INTERNAL FUEL PUMP RELAY THAT COULD OPERATE INTERMITTENTLY OR FAIL WITHOUT WARNING. AN INTERMITTENT OR FAILED FUEL PUMP RELAY COULD CAUSE THE ENGINE TO STALL WHILE DRIVING AND CAUSE A CRASH WITHOUT WARNING. THREE MONTHS LATER, JEEP SAYS THE PARTS ARE STILL NOT AVAILABLE, THEREFORE, MY CAR IS STILL DANGEROUS TO DRIVE. RECALL STATUS: INCOMPLETE BUT REPAIR PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE. FURTHERMORE, JEEP WANTS TO HACK INTO MY WIRING TO REPLACE A RELAY. THAT RELAY IS ORIGINALLY PART OF THE TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE. THEY ARE TRYING TO TAKE A "CHEAP" RATHER THAN "PROPER" APPROACH TO REPAIRING MY VEHICLE. I WANT THE MODULE REPLACED IN WHOLE, AS THIS IS WHERE THE RELAY IN QUESTION WAS ENGINEERED TO RESIDE. FURTHERMORE, I HAVE CALLED MY LOCAL JEEP DEALER TO VERIFY THE AVAILABILITY OF THE TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE. I WAS TOLD THAT THEY COULD ORDER IT AND HAVE IT ON THEIR SHELF IN 2 WORKING DAYS! THE FIRST INCIDENT HAPPENED AT THE END OF APRIL. WHILE DRIVING, AFTER CROSSING A BUSY STREET, I SUDDENLY LOST POWER AND ENGINE RESPONSE. AFTER HAVING IT TOWED TO THE NEAREST REPAIR SHOP, I HAD TO HAVE THE FUEL PUMP AND SENDER REPLACED. THIS IS WHEN I WAS MADE AWARE THERE IS A FUEL KIT RELAY RECALL. NOW, BARELY 4 WEEKS LATER, THIS EXACT SAME THING HAS HAPPENED AGAIN. WITH APPARENTLY NO REMEDY TO THE RECALL YET, I AM NOW LEFT PAYING FOR THE SAME EXACT REPAIRS I JUST HAD DONE LESS THAN 150 MILES AGO. THIS TIME IT HAPPENED AFTER CROSSING INTO ANOTHER STATE, ABOUT 45 MINUTES FROM HOME. THE TIME, COST AND HASSLE OF ALL THIS HAS BEEN COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. AFTER DRIVING TO WORK 29 MILES WHILE WAITING FOR DAY SHIFT TO GET OUT SO I CAN GET A PARKING SPOT WHILE IN PARK WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING FOR AROUND 15 MINUTES I THEN PUT IT IN DRIVE WITH MY FOOT PRESSED VERY HARD ON THE BRAKE PEDAL THE ENGINE REVS UP TO A VERY HIGH RPMS AND MY JEEP MOVES FORWARD EVEN THOUGH I HAVE ALL MY PRESSURE ON THE BRAKE AND I AM A MALE AT 210 POUNDS. THIS HAS HAPPENED OVER A DOZEN TIMES SINCE I HAVE OWNED THIS VEHICLE. I BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE BRAND NEW AND THE DEALER I BOUGHT IT FROM SAYS THEY CAN NOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG. IT IS GOING BACK TO THE DEALER MONDAY 2/23/2015 AGAIN FOR THIS PROBLEM AND TO REPLACE A SHOCK. THE LAST TIME THEY SAID ALL THEY COULD FIND WAS THAT THE TRANY FLUID WAS LOW NOT SURE WHAT THAT HAS TO DO WITH MY PROBLEM. ANYWAY I REALLY LOVE MY JEEP HOWEVER THIS IS A VERY DANGERS PROBLEM. IN GENERAL, THE CAR WOULD NOT START WHEN BRAKE WAS PRESSED AND THE START BUTTON WAS PUSHED. THIS HAPPENED SIX TIMES. FIRST FOUR TIMES THE ENGINE WOULD JUST TURN OVER BUT NOT START.
