I was stopped in traffic at approximately 16:00 on Tuesday 5/27/2025. All of the sudden the drivers side headrest deployed with force, hitting me in the back of my head and pushing my head and neck forward. Since the incident I am experiencing pain in my neck.

The active headrest restraint system deployed without being in a crash or hitting a bump for that matter. The vehicle was sitting stationary when it deployed. This could be a major safety issue as I have had a history of concussions and if this were to have deployed while I was driving, the consequences could have been severe. I see that they expanded a 10 year warranty for this, but it deployed a couple of months after that 10 year warranty expired. This should be covered for lifetime as it is a malfunctioning safety component that could seriously injure someone or render them incapacitated at highway speeds. All of this is due to a plastic clip failing that holds a metal pin.

The headrest on the drivers seat came apart. We have been unable to get it back together. Car was at rest in a parking lot and very luckily was not being driven at the time. This would be extremely dangerous if the car was being driven when this happened

-The passenger seat head rest popped open (exploded - it was super loud) when in the process of backing up out of my driveway. - The safety of everyone in the car was put at risk. My husband was in the seat and was hit in the back of the head. My son, his wife and their 2 month old daughter was in the back seat. - The problem has not been reproduced or confirmed by anyone. It just happend last night. - It has not been inspected yet either. - There was no indication of any issue with the head rest. There was no collision or problem prior to the rest rest popping open (or exploding, seriously).

Vehicle was parked in my front yard and sometimes between the hours of 830am and 3pm the driver side headrest activated (popped). No warning lights before or after it activated. Issue could have caused an accident and possibly caused injury to myself or my children had I been driving when system activated. Vehicle is available for inspection Issue is a known problem as a simple Google search would show

I was travelling down the road at approximately 30 mph and my the active headrest on the passenger side randomly deployed. This caused an extremely loud noise that sounded like an explosion. This caused me to swerve and slam on the brakes. It was unclear, at the time, what was happening. This has now caused extreme anxiety that it will happen on the driver side, while I am driving, and cause bodily harm or cause me to wreck, which could be potentially fatal. It appears that the clips that were holding it on just broke, or gave out, causing the deployment. After researching this I have found that this is a well known problem with this vehicle and has caused injury to others. When looking up my VIN number it says there are no recalls. It appears as though this is an expensive fix, which should be covered in full because it was a known default that Jeep continued to manufacture in the same way. I am not having to drive Leaning forward, because of fear of injuries if the drivers side does the same. And passengers have to ride with a deployed headrest that will not provide the protection it was supposed to provide in the event of a wreck, and that could cause additional harm because of it already being deployed.

I have Grand Cherokee SRT 2014 I am from Saudi Arabia. I was driving my vehicle in the right lane at a speed of 40 miles. There was a vehicle in the second lane that swerved onto my vehicle and forced me to crash into a light pole. The airbags did not deploy as the vehicle stopped due to the impact and not the brakes. I was hit while driving, and because I was wearing the seat belt, my rib cage muscles and other injuries were torn. Please investigate and help me. I have never got any fault in regard air bags even after the access ther is no fault light .

Driver side head rest air bag deployed completely on its own while I was sitting at a red light. It slammed forward with such great force hitting me in the back of my head and caused a horrible headache. It is available for inspection. My safety is at risk everytime I get in my car due to the fact it is a safety feature put in place by Jeep to prevent whiplash or any type of head or neck injury. It has been confirmed by a Certified Jeep dealership that it is fact a safety feature that is now inoperable. There was no warning lights prior to and at this time no lights or messages have appeared.

The Active head restraint on the passenger side deployed. The vehicle was brought to the dealer and confirmed the restraint had deployed. If this happened on the driver's side I could have had an accident. As it was it scared me and I swerved. There was no warning! I know there was an extended warranty issued but it has expired and the problem still exists regardless!

I was driving with no passenger abord and the head rest on the passenger side busted open without any cause, and I did not have any accident. Now it remains open and won't close. I was very frighten and I am scared that the same problem will happen on the drivers side, and I am very concern the airbags will active on its own. No police report was done but I have an appointment on July 7, 2023, with the dealership where I purchase the unit. This is something that needs to be addressed as a recall for safety purpose.

The passenger side headrest popped out violently by itself. Was driving up the interstate when the headrest randomly popped out. The headrest is unable to be reset. This could have been a very dangerous issue had someone been sitting in the passenger seat when the active headrest system deployed.

While driving normally, the passenger headrest violently shot open. Plastic clips which once held a metal rod inside the headrest can be seen stressed and broken, causing the active head restraint (AHR) systems to deploy. Several independent websites and forums show this is a known issue but there has not been a recall. There were no warning signs of an issue until this point.

The head rest deployed into the back of my head while driving through an intersection. No collision. No bumps. No contact. Smooth driving and then it deployed. It’s a hard and shocking deployment that hits you in the back of the head very aggressively causing my head jolt forward from the impact.

While sitting at the gas station, my drivers side Active Headrest Restraint deployed suddenly and struck me in the back of the head. I was leaning forward a bit and didn't receive the full blow, but it did cause me neck pain, a headache, and my left eye was throbbing.

Service shifter Transfer case Radio malfunction Gear Shifter Shifter got stuck in park i had to forcefully pull the shifter to get it to go into drive. Monday Feb 14, 2022 approximately around 9:00pm I drove my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee to the gas station. I pull up at the gas pumps and pit the shifter to park, I exit the vechile and lock the doors, go inside the store to pay for my purchase and as im walking out I look and my jeep was gone. So I look around and I see it across the highway in a ditch. So I take off Running to my vechile and get in the vechile to try and reverse it but its automactilly goes right back into park. So I get out and look at the damage because there is a guard rail cables. My car has front end damage because it was stuck under the cables. Made a police report. I called the dealership where I am leasing the vechile from and they do not wanna help me. I've had nothing put problems with this vechile since I got it. This really needs to be looked into. What if my babies were in the car. Thankfully there was no oncoming traffic at that time. Becauae its a busy highway. I also have video footage of the incident from that night.

My vehicle has the very well known problem for delamination of the dashboard. My airbag light has flickered on the dash a few times and dealership says that this is a big safety concern. It looks like it may be putting tension on the passenger side airbag creating risk of early deployment or failure to deploy in an accident. It already cracked my defroster vent.

Our son, 18 years old, driving our 2014 Jeep Cherokee Limited had a rollover accident and ZERO air bags deployed. The State Patrol, Tow personal and owner of the tow yard is questioning why the air bags did not deploy. This accident was at 1030ish on 9/17/2021. The car rolled over and landed on its top. The vehicle is a total loss. Our auto insurance is involved in this loss. Open claim. I called Jeep Customer Support and they have a case open on this. I feel lost over this issue. Why did the air bags not deploy? Please help me find answers. Our son busted the side door out and was able to exit the vehicle. I have pictures ect if needed. I am not 100% of the miles .. In 2018, my 2014 Chrysler/Jeep Grand Cherokee dashboard material had started to dislodge from the dash. I reached out to Jeep and they denied anything was wrong with the dash on their end and it was my fault for improper care of the car. I found this to be in contrast with research online of a large amount of complaints for the same model as mine suffering the same dashboard glue issues. In December of 2019, I received a notice from Jeep that they would be replacing the dashboard so in January of 2020 I dropped my car off at the local dealership, Joey Accardi. After not hearing from them, I sent an email on February 12, 2020 requesting an update. They advised they submitted a request for approval of the replacement to Jeep and were waiting to hear back. I picked up my vehicle as they could not provide a replacement timeline. After waiting several months I reached out to Jeep customer care Reference #75788102 and they advised they attempted to reach out to the dealership for an update with no response. After getting a response several days later they advised it was ordered and should arrive shortly. After waiting to hear back through the rest of 2020, I reached out again in February of 2021 to Jeep customer care Reference #78420942 and they "escalated" my issue to someone who called the dealership and was told it would arrive in May of 2021. They closed my case on February 5th without any further help or confirmation of receipt of part. I reached out again today, September 9th and received no help or any indication of replacement timeline. It has now been 3 years since I brought this to Jeeps attention and 22 months since they authorized replacement. My concern now is the dashboard material has dislodged two of my AC vents and has folded over where my airbag would deploy potentially causing harm or failure if the airbag were to attempt to deploy. This is clearly an issue with this year and model Jeep and they aren't remedying it potentially putting people in danger.

Passenger headrest popped open randomly while driving. Inspection is available upon request. My understanding is that this only occurs if a collision is detected. However no collision occured. No one was injured however had my wife been sitting there she could have easily been injured. The headrest could have smacked the back of her head. No warning lamps indicated anything wrong no warning occured before the deployment of the headrest. This seems to be an ongoing problem amongst jeep grand Cherokee owners.

It has to go to the dealer for repair (scheduled 6/23) but could have caused serious injury if it deployed while someone was sitting in the seat.

I SENT IN COMPLAINT # 11374883 ON 11/16/20 BUT NEEDED TO ADD THAT MY AIRBAGS ARE NOT WORKING EITHER ALONG WITH THIS SEAT BELT THAT THE PENDULUM OR MOTOR HAS BROKEN. I UNDERSTAND THE AIRBAGS ARE TIED INTO IT THE P67 RECALL AS WELL. THEY ARE NOT WORKING EITHER AND MY WARNING SYSTEM IS NO LONGER TELLING ME MY AB OR SEAT BELT IS NOT WORKING OR ON. RECALL P67 WAS MY MODEL AND MAKE JEEP BUT MY VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED FOR SOME REASON. I CALLED GM AS THE RECALL STATED AND THEY SAID THEY DON'T KNOW WHY MY VIN WAS NOT PART OF THE RECALL AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN,. THEY ADVISED ME TO REACH OUT TO YOU AND ASK YOU TO GET THIS ADDED TO THAT RECALL AS THE ISSUES MATCH AND ARE THE SAME FOR OTHER OWNERS OF THE SAME VEHICLE I HAVE AND YEAR AND MODEL. HE HAD TO REMOVE THE HEADREST SO WE COULD CONTINUE TO DRIVE IT, THERE IS A WIRE ATTACHED TO THE 1 SIDE SO THAT HAD TO BE SNIPPED TO REMOVE HEADREST. NOW MY SERVICE AIRBAG SYSTEM LIGHT IS ON, I'M SURPRISED THE [XXX] THING EVEN STARTS AND RUNS. NOW I FEEL LIKE WE NEED TO REMOVE PASSENGER HEADREST COMPLETELY TO PREVENT ANOTHER INJURY. WHEN I DROPPED OFF MY JEEP AGAIN, I GET A PHONE CALL STATING THAT THE HEADREST WAS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY AND THE COST WAS WELL OVER $700.00 (PARTS AND LABOR) WHICH I DECLINED AND WENT BACK AGAIN TO PICK UP. A FEW WEEKS LATER I DECIDED TO ORDER THE HEADREST FROM FACTORY OEM PARTS IN TAMPA, FLORIDA AND HAD IT SHIPPED TO MY RESIDENCE. RECEIVED NEW HEAD REST, INSTALLED AND WIRED IN SECONDS. HEADREST COST $443.87 INCLUDING SHIPPING. INVOICE IS ATTACHED. VERY UPSET WITH THE TIME I SPENT ON RESOLVING THIS AND THE MARKUP THE DEALERSHIPS ARE CHARGING FOR THE REPLACEMENT. I INVESTIGATED THE DAMAGED HEADREST AND RELATED THE FAULT FROM A BROKEN PLASTIC CLIP. I STILL HAVE THE DAMAGED HEADREST.

THE SUNROOF'S AUTOMATIC FUNCTIONS STOP WORKING SO WHEN IT FAILS YOU HAVE TO PUSH THE CLOSE BUTTON REPEATEDLY WHILE THE SUNROOF MOVES MAYBE 1/4" ON EACH DEPRESSION OF THE BUTTON. THE DEALER REPLACED THE MOTOR ONCE AND FOR THE OTHER 4 TIMES I WAS TOLD IT NEEDED TO BE CALIBRATED. THE LAST SUNROOF FAILURE THEY WENT IN AND WENT THROUGH ALL OF THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS AND SAID THEY FOUND SOME ELECTRICAL WIRING PROBLEMS AND FIXED THEM. THE SUNROOF FAILED AGAIN 2 WEEKS LATER. THE AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT, DUE TO ANOTHER ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR ISSUE. THE ELECTRONICS IN THE VEHICLE MALFUNCTIONS REGULARLY WHICH AFFECT THE RADIO CONTROLS, NAVIGATION, CENTRAL LOCKING, PHONE, AND I GET RANDOM ERRONEOUS ERRORS ON THE DASH DISPLAY. THE RADIO/NAVIGATION UNITS HAVE BEEN REPLACED. THE NAVIGATION SCREEN LOCKS UP BUT THE VOICE WILL CONTINUE TO GIVE YOU VERBAL INSTRUCTIONS. IF YOU MANUALLY LOCK THE VEHICLE AND START WALKING AWAY THE HORN WILL BEEP TWICE AND THE VEHICLE WILL UNLOCK LIKE THE KEYS HAVE BEEN LOCKED IN THE CAR, EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE IN YOUR HAND. I WAS TOLD YOU CANNOT USE THE LOCK BUTTONS ON YOUR DOOR TO LOCK THE VEHICLE. WHEN YOU WALK UP TO THE CAR AND GRAB THE DOOR HANDLE TO UNLOCK THE CAR IT FAILS, AND YOU HAVE TO GRAB THE DOOR HANDLE ALL OVER REPEATEDLY TO GET IT TO UNLOCK. THE DASH DISPLAY WILL GIVE FALSE MESSAGES WHILE DRIVING LIKE ALREADY IN DESIRED GEAR AND NO ONE HAS TOUCHED THE SHIFTER. THE VOICE WILL COME ON RANDOMLY AND ASK YOU WHAT NUMBER YOU WANT TO CALL, AGAIN NO BUTTONS NOR THE DISPLAY HAVE BEEN TOUCHED. ERROR ON DISPLAY MEMORY SYSTEM, THE PROGRAMMED SEAT SWITCHES WERE REPLACED. TRANSMISSION ISSUE, THE MODULE WAS REPLACED. REAR HATCH FAILURE, FINALLY SWITCH WAS REPLACED. REAR TAIL LIGHT LENS REPLACED AS IT WAS FULL OF WATER. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, FAULTY OIL PRESSURE SWITCH. ENGINE VIBRATION, BAD AC COMP.

WE CONTACTED CHRYSLER SEVERAL TIMES AND GOT NOWHERE WITH THEM, BUT THE FIRST REPRESENTATIVE WE TALKED TO DID GIVE US A CASE NUMBER. HOWEVER, WHEN I CONTACTED CHRYSLER, THEY SAID MY VIN NUMBER WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. MY CAR HAS THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM AS THE RECALL DESCRIBES YET IT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL!! NEITHER HAVE BEEN FIXED TO DATE. WROTE CHRYSLER SOME 6 MONTHS AGO ABOUT THE PROBLEM AND THEY PASSED ME TO THE DEALER WHO SAID THEY WOULD GET BACK TO ME - STILL NO RESPONSE. SINCE THEN, JEEP HAS BEEN IN DEALERS SERVICE DEPT FOR MANY ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS, TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS, DOWN LOADS TO CONTROL MODULES AND FRONT AND REAR BUMPERS JUST FALLING OFF. RADIO WAS REPLACED, WIRING HARNESS REPLACED, MANY CONTROL MODULARS REPLACED, GENERATOR AND BATTERY REPLACED AND THE DEALER EVEN ADDED AN EXTRA NEGATIVE WIRE TO THE JEEP TO STOP THE EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR LIGHTS FROM JUST TURNING OFF AND ON, ALTERING THE JEEPS DESIGN. MY JEEP THEN BEGAN TURNING ON AND OFF CERTAIN CONTROLS, LIKE THE WIPERS WOULD JUST COME ON AND OFF, THE RADIO WOULD GO UP AND DOWN IN SOUND THEN THE WHOLE SCREEN WOULD GO BLACK, TURNING OFF ON ITS OWN, DEALER HAD TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE RADIO SYSTEM. RECENT REPAIRS WERE THE TRANSMISSION, WHICH HAVE BEEN AN ONGOING PROBLEM WITHIN MONTH OF PURCHASE. THE JEEP WOULD NOT GO HIGHER THE 2ND GEAR. DEALER HAD TO REMOVE CERTAIN CODES, REPLACE WITH NEW CODES AND REPROGRAM THE TCM CONTROL MODULE. THIS HAS BEEN DONE MANY TIMES. JUST LAST MONTH, THE FRONT AND REAR BUMPERS JUST BEGAN TO FALL APART. DEALER HAD TO SEND JEEP TO A BODY SHOP FOR REPAIRS. THE JEEP IS IN MINT CONDITION AND AWAYS HAS. IT'S SERVICE RECORD IS PROOF OF PROPER MAINTEANCE ON SCHEDULE. ON ONE OCCASION AFTER THE DEALER ATTEMPTEDTO FINX THE LIGHTS FROM GOING OUT AND HAD THE JEEP FOR SEVRAL WEEKS, THE DEALER TOLD ME THEY GO THE LIGHTS TO AT LEAST NOT GO OUT BUT IT STILL HAS A SLIGHT FLICKER. WHEN I TOLD THE DEALERSHIP THAT'S NOT FIXED RIGHT, THE DEALER TOLD ME THAT THEY CONSIDERED THE REPAIRS COMMERCIALLY ACCEPTABLE. ON A RECENT LONG TRIP (500 MILES EACH WAY) A COMPUTER MALFUNCTION POPPED UP WHILE DRIVING. THE VEHICLE'S PHONE CALLED FOR SERVICE, FOLLOWED BY THE AIRBAG LIGHT AND SEAT BELT INDICATOR WENT OFF. I PULLED INTO A JEEP DEALER RIGHT BEFORE CLOSING AND THE TOLD ME THE ISSUE WAS IN THE AIRBAG CONTROL MODULE SOMEWHERE BUT IT COULDN'T BE FIXED EASILY AND THAT THE PARTS WERE ON BACK-ORDER. THE CAR IS DRIVE-ABLE BUT THE AIRBAG SYSTEM IS INOPERATIVE. I HAVE SINCE SPOKEN TO THE DEALER IN MY HOME-STATE AND CONFIRMED THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM POPPING UP ON THE 2014 MODEL YEAR GRAND CHEROKEE AND THAT EVEN REPLACING THE MODULE WAS A GUESS AT BEST AS TO WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. SO LONG STORY SHORT I HAVE A BRAND NEW VEHICLE WITH LESS THAN 10,000 MILES WITH A MALFUNCTIONING/INOPERATIVE AIRBAG SYSTEM THAT THE DEALERSHIP SAYS MAY OR MAY NOT BE FIXABLE. *TR

ON MAY 19,2014 WENT TO JEEP DEALER TO FIND OUT THAT THE INSTRUMENT AIR BAG MODULE NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. BUT THE PROBLEM IS THAT JEEP HAS NO AVAILABLE PARTS TO TAKE CARE THIS PROBLEM ,PARTS ARE ON BACK ORDER AND NO SURE WHEN THEY WILL BE AVAILABLE.DEEHICLEALER ADVICE ME TO TAKE THE TRUCK AND THEY WILL CONTACT ME WHEN THE PARTS WILL COME AVALAIBLE.I ASK THE DEALER TETEBORO CHRYSLER IN NEW JERSEY IF ITS SAFE TO DRIVE A VEHICLE AND IF THE SYSTEM IS WORKING? WHILE STARTING UP MY JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE THE AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT CAME ON WITH A SYSTEM FAILURE AND THAT IT NEEDED SERVICE. ABOUT 2 MINUTES AFTER THAT MY DRIVERS SEAT BELT LIGHT CAME ON TELLING ME IT WAS NOT LATCHED (THOUGH IT WAS) AND IT NEEDED SERVICE. THEN ABOUT 30 SEC LATER THE ACC/FEC SYSTEM FAILED AND A WARNING CAME ON. WHEN I TOOK IT TO CHRYSLER FAIROAKS DODGE IN CHANTILLY THAT NIGHT THEY LOOKED AT IT THE NEXT DAY AND TOLD ME A MODULE WAS BAD (ORC FILTER?) THAT CONTROLLED THE AIRBAGS AND EVERYTHING ELSE WAS EFFECTED BECAUSE OF THAT. TROUBLE IS THERE IS NO PART IN STOCK FOR REPAIR AND THEY WANT TO KEEP MY CAR FOR WEEKS WHILE WAITING. )I BET JEEP IS STILL MAKING NEW CARS WITH THE PART SO WHY NO PART FOR MY CAR? ANYWAY, I WAS AT JEEP TO PICK UP A RENTAL SINCE IT WOULD BE SO LONG AND ANOTHER JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE 2014 PULLED IN WITH THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM. VERY ODD I THOUGHT AND WORTH REPORTING. WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, WITHOUT WARNING, THE AIRBAG NEEDS SERVICE INDICATOR AS WELL AS THE DRIVER SEAT BUCKLE IS NOT FASTENED LIGHT CAME ON. IN ADDITION, THERE WAS ANOTHER FAILURE WITH THE ON BOARD PHONE REQUIRING SERVICE. I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER AND THEY SAID THE AIR BAG SENSOR WAS ON BACK ORDER AND DID NOT KNOW WHEN IT WOULD ARRIVE. I AM EXTREMELY CONCERNED THAT THIS PART IS NOT STOCKED. THE DRIVER SEAT BUCKLE IS NOT FASTENED BEEPS FOR SEVERAL MILES BEFORE IT ULTIMATELY STOPS. VERY ANNOYING. WHILE TRAVELING HOME FROM A FAMILY VACATION AT ABOUT 40 MPH MY SEAT BELT LIGHT STARTED FLASHING SAYING THAT THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER AIR SEAT BELT WAS NOT ENGAGED ALONG WITH THE LIGHTS AND DINGING ALARM SAYING THAT THE AIR BAG IS IN NEED OF SERVICE, THIS HAS NOT GONE OFF AND THE DINGING IS CONSTANT. I CALLED AND SET UP AN APPOINTMENT AT THE DEALERSHIP AND WAITED 4 HOURS FOR THEM TO TELL ME THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE PARTS NEEDED TO REPAIR THE ISSUE THAT IT WAS ON BACK ORDER (AT LEAST 1 1/2 WEEKS) BUT WOULD NOT BE PROVIDING A RENTAL CAR SINCE THE CAR WAS STILL DRIVE ABLE AND THAT THEY WOULD CALL WHEN THE PART WAS IN. I AM VERY UPSET BECAUSE I AM IN THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY AND KNOW THAT THIS IS A SAFETY CONCERN/ RISK. I HAVE ALSO BEEN EXPERIENCING ISSUES WITH MY TRANSMISSION. I REGRET MAKING THIS PURCHASE. *TR

UPON STARTING MY 2014 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE OVERLAND, ALL OF THE WARNING LIGHTS CAME ON AND REMAINED ON. THIS INCLUDED, BUT WAS NOT LIMITED TO: AIRBAGS, ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL, ABS BRAKE SYSTEM,CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, AND OTHERS. THE MESSAGES IN THE DASHBOARD INFORMATION SCREEN INDICATED VARIOUS FAILURES AND THE NEED TO SERVICE IMMEDIATELY. THE REAR BACKUP CAMERA ALSO BECAME NON FUNCTIONING. AFTER SHUTTING DOWN THE VEHICLE, WAITING SEVERAL MINUTES AND THEN RESTARTING, THE PROBLEMS CONTINUED. OUT OF SAFETY CONCERNS, I CALLED THE NEAREST JEEP DEALER AND WAS ADVISED THEY "HAD NEVER HEARD OF THIS" AND IF I WANTED SERVICE THAT I WOULD HAVE TO LEAVE THE VEHICLE THERE SINCE THEY DO NOT MAKE APPOINTMENTS. THE LIGHTS WENT OUT UPON RESTARTING AGAIN, HOWEVER I AM VERY TENTATIVE ABOUT DRIVING IT, AS I DO NOT KNOW IF THESE IMPORTANT SAFETY SYSTEMS AND/OR WARNINGS HAVE FAILED. THIS IS POTENTIALLY EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND TOTALLY INEXCUSABLE IN A $47,000 VEHICLE WHICH IS LESS THAN 6 MONTHS OLD. THE NAVIGATION SYSTEM AND RADIO HAVE NOT WORKED PROPERLY SINCE I PURCHASED THE JEEP. UPON CALLING JEEP, AND PROVIDING MY VIN #, I WAS ADVISED THAT IT NEEDED A "RADIO ENHANCEMENT". LOOKING ONLINE, THERE ARE MANY COMPLAINTS OF THIS ELECTRICAL SAFETY ISSUE, AND YET TWO LOCAL DEALERS HAVE NEVER HEARD OF IT ? THERE ALSO DOESN'T APPEAR TO BE ANY APPARENT "FIX" AT THIS TIME.
