I just bought a 2018 jeep Renegade 4 month ago Carmax, so far 6 times, the engine. Just shuts off, last time my wife going on the freeway. I'm afraid that someone may get killed. Is they anything you can do to help is there a recall. We bought extended warrenty. Or is the car a lemon

The automobile will shut off during driving. On three separate occasions while driving the automobile has lost all drivability. The first occasion I was leaving work (01/02/2025) and as I went to accelerate on to the road from a dead stop, the engine shut off. I had to place the car back in park and depress the brake to start the engine again (by depressing the start engine button). The second occasion happened as I was entering the expressway (01/07/2025). I was turning off the main road onto the onramp of the expressway when the engine shut off again. This time I was accelerating up to around 40 mph when the engine shut off. Luckily, I was able to coast to a stop in the emergency lane. The steering locked up due to the engine shut down so I was not able to restart the car until putting it back in park to start the whole start sequence. The third occasion happened today (01/16/2025) as I was leaving school. I was leaving the parking lot when I went to accelerate from a stop the engine shut off again.

I bough this car in February with no knowledge of the prior lawsuit on these cars randomly stalling. The past month- my car has stalled multiple times, in the middle of the road and I lose all control. It is such a safety hazard because people will literally almost hit me. I have to hurry up and turn on the flashers and pull over and restart and try again. There is no warnings for this and once it stalls- the steering wheel locks as well! I thought it was bad gas but after doing all kinds of research , there was 2 previous recalls on this car for the same issue! If it was fixed, why is it still doing this? Now I’m in a contract for this car and can’t afford to take a hit to my credit but it literally scares me to drive it! Check engine light initially came on but since has disappeared. I have recorded my car doing this and honestly have just let it sit because I cannot afford a mechanical bill right now.

Engine is the big problem. When I drive the engine randomly shuts off without any warning. I’ve been on the freeway when it shuts down and I don’t have enough time to get over to safety. And I fear for my life every time it happens. It’s a safety hazard for others around me as well because my car stops without warning and others are going full speed around me. We have taken it do the dealership, service center, auto shops and no one has an answer or solution for us. We took it to the jeep service center and they didn’t know what was going on. Other than that we haven’t taken it to a manufacturer. There were so symptoms or warnings before this was happening.

My safety and the safety of others were put at significant risk numerous times. The vehicle has randomly turned off while driving, causing the steering wheel to stiffen without any warning. This sudden loss of power and control in traffic is extremely dangerous and could easily lead to accidents. 3. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? Yes, the problem has been reproduced and confirmed by both a dealer and an independent service center. The dealers identified issues with the electrical system resetting and the engine turning off unexpectedly, but solutions have been inconsistent. 4. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives, or others? Yes, the vehicle has been inspected by the manufacturer and the dealership. The manufacturer has been notified of these issues, and the dealership performed diagnostic tests, but the problem persists despite their interventions. 5. Were there any warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? No, there were no warning lamps or messages prior to the failures. The electrical system would reset by morning without any prior indication, and the vehicle would turn off while driving with no warning signs. These issues have occurred intermittently since I purchased the vehicle, putting me in dangerous situations multiple times.

• The fuel pump failed. Yes it's available for inspection • I was driving on a very busy road going about 55mph and the car stalled. I was able to coast to the shoulder of the road to avoid being rear-ended. This put my life at risk along with the other drivers if I was not able to safely get to the side of the road. • I am not able to reproduce the issue as my vehicle will not start after the incident. It has not been confirmed yet by another party as it just happened this morning. • It has not been inspected yet. • There were not warning lamps, messages or other symptoms prior to the vehicle dying. I was driving this morning (6/4/2024), going up a slight incline going about 55mph and the fuel pump stopped working and my engine cut off off in the middle of traffic.

The vehicle has stopped running while driving. It turns off and the gas gauge will show E (there is a full tank) and the battery will die- it is brand new and it was tested when this happened. The codes are saying it’s the PCM- it hasn’t ran properly without a jump in months. And it will idol super high, over heat and scare everyone in the car. Had it towed and checked AGAIN. And everything was fine. (Note that the entire engine was replaced the year I got it by my dealership for the recall on the engine going through all oil in less than a month) I know I am not the only person who had had this issue with this specific vehicle. I’m still paying on it!! I have children to Think about. And at 700+$ payment monthly I shouldn’t have this issue. This vehicle has been nothing but trouble and the dealership gives me a hard time when I’ve called for help with it. The warranty ran up that I paid extra for. Isn’t that ironic.

My Renegade fuel pump failed in a very unsafe manner without an engine light at only 42,000 miles, less than half the expected life of that component. I was driving on the highway and without warning I could no longer accelerate and I had plenty of fuel but no engine light came on and I had to glide to the right while cars were speeding around me before I reached 0mph. This is extremely dangerous and I'm finding it's very common in other models that aren't covered under the fuel pump recall for certain jeep renegades. My fuel pump was fixed and they said it was a common issue but I had no recourse to investigate beyond "it's not a recall". If this is happening to other Renegades not covered it will most definitely cause a serious crash as the engine is on but no acceleration.

From the first few months we've had this car it will randomly stall out about 10 times over 5 years while driving on busy streets. We've taken it to a Chrysler dealership and were told it was fine, but that we should get more frequent oil changes. We don't drive this car much (5 years and only 24k miles).It is still doing this and I just checked articles on this model/year and there are both fuel pump UB2 and powertrain control recalls U87 that say they lead to stalling out. But they are not listed as being recalls on our vehicle. I called Chrysler tonight and they said these recalls aren't for our vehicle, only a random software update W20. The car has been taken to a Chrysler dealer a few times. It also had an issue where sometimes we couldn't pump gas (gas pumps wouldn't work) and read online there was a failure in some Jeep gas tanks that they were missing a hole. We looked and there was no visible hole. We took it to the Chrysler dealership and they told us that wasn't a real error and nothing was wrong but when it got it back there was a hole there and we have been able to pump gas since. So I'm not sure that we trust that dealership.

My car shut down and will not restart in High altitudes. This has been on ongoing issue since I purchased it in 2019. The car will sputter and feel like it has no power, then die. When I go to restart, it will not start. We have almost been hit by traffic several times because of this issue. Seems to only happen in high altitude. We live in the mountains, so we climb elevation quite a bit.

Every 2 days I'm adding a cord of oil to my engine. It started off. I would have to add a quart or two in between my oil changes and this thing is running unbelievably bad. Everything's failing on it now. It's leaking oil out of somewhere from the block. The manifolds leaking has been since day one and a thing runs so hot. It's unreal, it doesn't accelerate and then it tries to accelerate by itself. It bucks it decelerates and jumps gears

There is a recall for this but my jeep does not fall in this recall. Can someone please advise me on what to do? I do not have any paperwork. Driving on June 13, 2022 in Nebraska during excessive heat (105 degrees), engine stalled on the interstate and check engine light came on. Towed to a dealership, who said I probably had bad gas (I think the code was for fuel trim low in bank 1). They reset code, I filled up with high octane fuel and continued, only to have it happen again 50 miles down the road, this time with no check engine light. Towed back to dealership. They tried to replicate the problem over the next two days by driving it well over 125 miles. However, temperatures were in the low to mid 80s on those two days. I am having the car hauled home to my local dealership to figure out the issue. I suspect that it is the fuel pump over heating and failing.

My husband was driving our Jeep today and it just stopped two times without any warning. Once while just going down our driveway (about 1000 feet from our home) and the second times was while he was in town going around a round about intersection. He was able to pull over and the Jeep started right back up but it could have been a lot worse if he would have been in traffic or driving 65+ MPH.

My jeep on 11/11/2021 just turned 60,000 miles the light came on change oil so I started it drove out of the drive way turned around the corner it said you can't shift in drive so I pulled over put it in park put my foot on the brake push the button to start it sound like a hissing sound then it would crank and start I got to the corner to stop and it died out put it in park put my foot on the brake and push the button to start did the same thing making like a hissing sound started to crank after a minute and a half and it seemed to do this in the morning although couple more times during the day. This is a serious problem it can cause an accident I think it's a fuel pump not getting enough fuel.

NOW TRANSMISSION TEMPERATURE GETS TO CLOSE TO 200 DEGREES AND THE DEALER SAID THERE WAS NO NEED TO FLUSH BECAUSE OF THE MODEL. AND I GOT THE RECALL COMPUTER UPDATE ON JANUARY 30. 2021 ALSO FOR THE OIL ISSUE. I'M AM SO UNHAPPY WITH THIS VEHICLE. ALL THESE PROBLEMS HAPPEN AFTER MY WARRANTY RAN OUT.

I CONTACTED THE DEALER AND SAID THEY COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING CAUSE THERE WAS NOT CODES IN THE SYSTEM AND THEY COULD NOT MAKE IT HAPPEN AGAIN. SO I WAS SENT HOME. IT HAS HAPPEN NOW AT LEAST FOUR MORE TIMES SINCE. THE LAST TIME IT HAPPENED WAS LAST WEEK AND THIS TIME I HAD TWO LINES OF GAS IN THE CAR. I HAD IT IN FOR EXPECTATION TODAY AND TOLD THEM ABOUT THE PROBLEM AGAIN. THE PRECEDED TO TELL ME THE SAME THING. TAKE IT HOME BECAUSE THEY CAN'T FIND NOTHING WRONG WITH IT AND I SHOULD CALL A TOW TRUCK NEXT TIME IT HAPPENS. BUT THE CAR SHUTS OFF ANYTIME. THE LAST TIME IT WAS ON A HIGHWAY WITH A TWO YEAR OLD IN THE BACK SEAT. UPON PRESSING THE GAS PEDDLE FOR ACCELERATION, MY CAR HESITATES AND JERKS WHEN I NEED TO INCREASE MY SPEED QUICKLY, BUT AS SOON AS I LET OFF OF THE GAS IT IMMEDIATELY STOPS. IT DOES THIS IN ANY GEAR UPON SHIFTING IF I AM IN NEED TO QUICKLY INCREASE MY SPEED. FOR INSTANCE WHEN I NEED TO GET ON TO AN INTERSTATE (WHICH I DRIVE EVERYDAY) I HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE TRAFFIC TO BE CLEAR BEFORE I CAN GET ON THE INTERSTATE BECAUSE IT WONT GO QUICK ENOUGH WITH TRAFFIC TO MERGE. MY CAR IS SHUTTING DOWN WHILE DRIVING IT. MY CAR JUST STARTED SAYING 'LOW OIL PRESSURE' AND NOT EVEN A DAY LATER TURNED OFF WHILE I WAS DRIVING IT AND I WAS ALMOST REAR ENDED. IT DID IT ONCE MORE BEFORE I WAS ABLE TO GET IT INTO THE DEALERSHIP. THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME TO DO AN OIL CONSUMPTION TEST AND BRING IT BACK IN BUT I DON'T THINK I SHOULD HAVE TO DRIVE A POTENTIALLY UNSAFE CAR. THERE IS A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST FCA FROM OTHER PEOPLE EXPERIENCING THE SAME PROBLEMS I AM EXPERIENCING BECAUSE FCA HAS KNOWN ABOUT THESE ISSUES FOR YEARS AND HAS DONE NOTHING TO FIX THE PROBLEM.

I PURCHASED MY 2018 JEEP RENEGADE IN FEB OF 2019. I HAD UNDER 5K MILES ON IT AND TOOK IT ON MY FIRST ROAD TRIP. I MADE IT TO COLORADO AND THE VEHICLE STALLED WHILE DRIVING AT LEAST 12 TIMES. THERE WERE NO WARNING LIGHTS OR ANYTHING. I HAD THE VEHICLE TAKEN TO 4 DIFFERENT DEALERSHIPS AND NO CODES OR ISSUES WERE FOUND. I DEALT WITH FCA WHICH WAS A NIGHTMARE, AND ALL THEY OFFERED WAS A FREE WARRANTY. I LET THEM KNOW I DONT FEEL SAFE IN MY VEHICLE MULTIPLE TIMES. I THEN TOOK MY VEHICLE ON THE FIRST ROAD TRIP THIS WEEKEND TO LUBBOCK AND ONCE AGAIN IT STALLED OUT 4 TIMES WHILE DRIVING 75 MPH. I DROPPED IT OFF AT THE DEALERSHIP YESTERDAY AND NO ISSUES WERE FOUND AGAIN. THERE IS A SAFETY RECALL ON THIS VEHICLE FOR THE EXACT SAME ISSUES YET MY VIN DOESN'T FIT THE RECALL LIST. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND I WANT IT FIXED IMMEDIATELY. I COULD DIE FROM THIS VEHICLE STALLING WHILE DRIVING AT HIGH SPEEDS. PLEASE GET SOMEONE TO HELP ME.

WHEN DRIVING DOWNHILL 55 MPH AT AN APPROXIMATE ALTITUDE OF 5500FT ON HWY 80 WEST IN WYOMING, MY VEHICLE COMPLETELY LOST ALL POWER, ENGINE SHUTDOWN AND DASHBOARD MESSAGE SAID SHIFT TO PARK. VERY SCARY AND DANGEROUS SITUATION THAT I WAS ABLE TO CONTROL. I PROCEEDED TO PARK THE VEHICLE ON THE SIDE OF THE HWY AND SHIFTED TO PARK. I WAITED FOR ABOUT 15 MINUTES NOT KNOWING WHAT TO DO. I DECIDED TO TURN THE ENGINE ON, WHICH IT DID, SHIFTED TO DRIVE, AND DROVE TO THE NEAREST HWY EXIT. I DO NOT KNOW THE EXACT CAUSE OF THE ISSUE, BUT IT SEEMS, BASE ON OTHER OWNERS REPORT'S THAT THE PROBLEM IS CAUSED BY A FAILURE IN THE ENGINE FUEL PUMP AND/OR VOLTAGE REGULATOR WHICH IT MAKES SENSE. PLEASE INVESTIGATE AND RECALL THE ISSUE BEFORE SOMEONE DIES.

6 TIMES IN THE PAST WEEK, OUR VEHICLE HAS STARTED SPUTTERING AND STALLING OUT WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY. OUR GAS WAS AROUND HALF FULL AND WE WERE NOT GOING UP OR DOWN ANY HILLS. THE MPH RANGE WAS 60-90MPH THAT THIS WAS HAPPENING AND AFTER DRIVING FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS. WE WERE NOT ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE FOR AT LEAST 10 MINUTES AND SOMETIMES IT TOOK OVER 45 MINUTES BEFORE WE COULD START THE VEHICLE AGAIN. WE HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALERSHIP 3 TIMES, EACH TIME TELLING US THAT THERE IS NOTHING WRONG. MY JEEP RENEGADE MAY BE EQUIPPED WITH A CRACKED OIL PUMP HOUSING/BALANCE SHAFT MODULE (BSM), WHICH HAS CAUSED THE OIL PUMP TO FAIL AND THE ENGINE TO STALL. I BOUGHT THE VEHICLE 3/6/2020 FROM THE I-10 DODGE DEALERSHIP IN INDIO, CA. THE CAR APPEARED TO BE WORKING PERFECTLY: NO FUNNY SMELLS OR NOISES, GOOD ACCELERATION AND BRAKES, NO WARNING LIGHTS ON DASH CONSOLE OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT. LAST SATURDAY (5/2/2020) I DROVE IT TO MY FRIEND'S MOBILE HOME. I PARKED IN THE CARPORT AND TURNED THE ENGINE OFF. I WENT INTO THE HOME AND LOOKED OUT THE WINDOW ABOUT TWO MINUTES LATER. SMOKE WAS POURING OUT OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. I LOOKED IN VAIN FOR A HOSE OR FIRE EXTINGUISHER, THEN CALLED 911. AT THIS POINT FLAMES WERE SHOOTING UP FROM THE ENGINE, SETTING THE CARPORT AND THE SIDE OF THE MOBILE HOME ON FIRE. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT ARRIVED AND PUT OUT THE FIRE. THE VEHICLE BURNS OIL CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO SHUTDOWN WITHOUT WARNING. WE HAVE THE VEHICLE SERVICES REGULARLY, BUT IT BURNS SO MUCH OIL WE'RE HAVING ISSUES BEFORE IT'S DUE FOR ROUTINE OIL CHANGE. MY SON WAS ABOUT 30 MILES AWAY FROM HOME WHEN HIS VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. HE ALSO MENTIONED THAT AT TIMES IT WOULD SPUTTER DURING ACCELERATION. WE PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE NEW AND CURRENTLY IT HAS 29,000 MILES. WE HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED UNDER WARRANTY TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY KEPT IT FOR OVER A WEEK BEFORE THEY WERE ABLE TO LOOK AT IT. I INQUIRED ABOUT GETTING A LOANER VEHICLE SINCE WE WERE DOWN A VEHICLE AND THE DEALER SAID ALL THEIR LOANERS WERE OUT AND THEY WILL ONLY ALLOW US TO HAVE THE LOANER FOR 5 DAYS TOTAL. SO, THEY SAID THEY WOULD CONTACT US WHEN THEY HAD A LOANER AVAILABLE. WE NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THEM, SO MY HUSBAND CALLED THEM BACK 8 DAYS LATER TO INQUIRE ABOUT A LOANER AGAIN, AND AT THAT TIME THEY SAID THE VEHICLE WAS READY; ALL IT NEEDED WAS OIL. SO, WHEN WE WENT TO PICK-UP THE VEHICLE THEY'RE CHARGING US $189 AND THIS VEHICLE IS STILL ON WARRANTY. THE WARRANTY ON THE JEEP IS FRAUDULENT AND THE DEALERSHIPS ARE DEVIOUS.

VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED BRAND NEW OFF THE SHOWROOM FLOOR IN JULY. IN DECEMBER IT BEGAN STALLING AT ODD TIMES AND NOT WANTING TO RESTART. WEEK BEFORE CHRISTMAS THE OIL CHANGE INDICATOR CAME ON. I THOUGHT NOTHING OF IT AND FIGURED I WOULD SCHEDULE IT AS SOON AS I COULD AFTER THE HOLIDAYS. THE VEHICLE BEGAN STALLING SHORTLY AFTER THE OIL CHANGE INDICATOR HAPPENED. I THOUGHT IT WAS BECAUSE I DID NOT LET THE VEHICLE WARM UP LONG ENOUGH AND IT WAS VERY COLD OUTSIDE. NOPE. I WAS ON MY WAY TO THE GAS STATION AND THE VEHICLE STALLED IN THE INTERSECTION AND REFUSED TO RESTART. I WAS ALMOST STRUCK SEVERAL TIMES. IT TOOK 5 MINUTES TO RESTART THE VEHICLE AND IT WAS MAKING NOISES LIKE THE ENGINE DID NOT WANT TO TURN OVER AND CATCH. I FINALLY GOT IT OUT OF THE ROAD AND INTO THE PARKING LOT OF THE GAS STATION. IT SAT FOR A FEW MINUTES AND THEN RESTARTED RELUCTANTLY. I FILLED IT UP WITH GAS AND IT TOOK SEVERAL TRIES TO GET IT TO RESTART. A WEEK LATER I WAS COMING HOME FROM WORK AND IT STALLED ON ME LEAVING THE PARKING LOT, I HAD LITERALLY DRIVEN 500 FEET. WHEN I RESTARTED IT, THE VEHICLE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND THE RED "POWER REDUCED" LIGHT WAS FLASHING ON THE DASH. IT WOULD NOT GO OVER 25 MPH. I WAS ABLE TO GET IT TO A PARKING LOT A LITTLE WAYS UP THE ROAD AND LET IT SIT FOR ABOUT 20 MINUTES. IT RESTARTED WITH NO PROBLEMS, THE REDUCE POWER LIGHT WAS GONE, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS STILL ON, AND I WAS ABLE TO DRIVE IT AT A NORMAL SPEED THE REST OF THE WAY HOME. I STARTED IT AGAIN THE NEXT MORNING. NO ISSUES, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS STILL ON. AS OF THIS WRITING, I HAVE HAD THE VEHICLE FOR 6 MONTHS AND IT HAS 8100 MILES ON IT. I BROUGHT IT INTO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY COULDN'T REPLICATE THE ISSUE AND WHEN I MENTIONED THE OPEN RECALL THEY STATED MY VIN WAS NOT PART OF IT AND SENT ME ON MY WAY. A FEW WEEKS LATER IT STALLED AGAIN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD COMING TO A STOP LIGHT, GOING ABOUT 20 MPH. IT STOPPED ACCELERATING, STARTED SHAKING, AND THEN THE ENGINE DIED COMPLETELY AGAIN. I BROUGHT IT BACK IN TO THE DEALERSHIP, AGAIN NOTHING. THE THIRD TIME IT HAPPENED I WAS DRIVING ABOUT 40-50 MPH, IT STOPPED ACCELERATING, STARTED SHAKING, AND THEN THE ENGINE DIED COMPLETELY. THEY FINALLY REPLACED THE FUEL PUMP, STILL SAID IT WASN'T THE RECALL THOUGH. IT HASN'T HAPPENED IN THE 1500 MILES SINCE THEY REPLACED IT.

WHEN I LAST WENT TO THEM FOR THE OIL CONSUMPTION TEST, THEY PUT ANOTHER STICKER ON UNDER IT WITH SAME DATE DEC 6TH BUT AT 5000 MILES. I WAS TOLD BY THE GIRL AT THE SERVICE DESK AND LIONEL THAT I AM TO HAVE IT CHECKED NOW AFTER 500 MILES. JEEP STOPPED ACCELERATING ON THE INTERSTATE GOING 75 ON CRUISE CONTROL; WE WERE IN THE PASSING LINE WITH SEMI TRUCKS BEHIND US SO WE HAS NOTHING CHOICE BUT TO PULL OVER TO THE LEFT SHOULDER UNTIL WE COULD SAFELY MOVE THE CAR TO THE RIGHT SHOULDER. CAR CONTINUED TO RUN, BUT WOULD NOT ACCELERATE. NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. CAR WAS TOWED TO A DEALERSHIP, DIAGNOSTIC DID NOT SHOW ANY ISSUES; I WAS TOLD THAT IT HAPPENED BECAUSE IT WAS HOT AND BECAUSE I DROVE IT MORE THAN 5 HOURS. JEEP IS STUCK 12 HRS FROM WHERE I LIVE AND THERE ARE NO PARTS AVAILABLE. MANUFACTURER AND DEALERSHIP REFUSE TO GIVE ME A LOANER CAR.

TAKATA RECALL MY CAR WILL NOT ACCELERATE AT TIMES AND I ALMOST GOT HIT TODAY I WAS PRESSING THE GAS AT A LIGHT TURNING LEFT AND MY CAR WOULDN'T ACCELERATE AND MY PASSENGER FREAKED OUT THINKING WE WERE GOING TO GET HIT, THE GAS PEDAL WENT DOWN AND THEN MY CAR KINDA OF JUMPED AND FINALLY ACCELERATED BUT IT'S DELAYED VERY OFTEN ESPECIALLY ON THE HIGHWAY IT TAKES TIME TO ACCELERATE AND I PRESS THE GAS SLOWLY. ALSO I HAVE TERRIBLE GAS MILEAGE AND FEEL LIKE IT DRAINS OUT QUICKLY.

VEHICLE WITH ~2000 MILES ON IT STALLED OUT (ENGINE TURNED OFF) MULTIPLE TIMES WHILE DRIVING ON CITY STREETS. SOON AS I COULD GET TO A SAFE LOCATION AND PUT IN PARK IT STALLED AGAIN. HAS A FULL TANK OF GAS AND NO OTHER SYMPTOMS. HAD BEEN RUNNING WITHOUT ISSUE EARLIER IN THE DAY.

I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND MY CAR STARTED STALLING AND JUST CUT OFF EACH TIME I TIME TO START IT AND HIT THE GAS THE CAR KEEP STALLING AND I WAS ALMOST HIT FROM BEHIND MY CAR WOULD NOT MOVE, I SAT FOR 10 MINS THEN I WAS ABLE TO MOVE IT OUT OF TRAFFIC. FINALLY I GOT IT STARTED BACK UP DROVE IT MAYBE 15/20 MINS DOWN THE ROAD IT DID THE SAME THING IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC CAUSING ME TO ALMOST BE HIT FROM BEHIND. I DID THE SAME STEPS AS I DID BEFORE SO I WAS ABLE TO GET TO A PARKING LOT AND I HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED TO HENDRICK IN CONCORD THEY WERE OUT OF CARS HE SUGGESTED THAT I COULD COME GET MY CAR BECAUSE THEY COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG, I TOLD HIM WHY WOULD I DRIVE A CAR THAT KEEPS CUTTING OFF THAT'S A DANGER TO ME AND OTHER PEOPLE ON THE ROAD. NEXT DAY I HAD MY CAR TOWED AGAIN TO KEFFER IN CHARLOTTE BECAUSE THE GUY TOLD ME THEY WOULD PUT ME IN A CAR AND I EXPLAINED TO HIM THAT I CAN NO RENT FROM ENTERPRISE I SPENT $27 ON LYFT TO GET THERE AND THEY DIDN'T HAVE CARS I SAT THERE FOR ABOUT 5 HRS AND STILL ENDED UP GOING HOME WITH NO VEHICLE I HAD TO MISS A DAY OF WORK AND THEN I AM GOING TO MISS ANOTHER DAY BECAUSE THEY HAVE MY VEHICLE AND DID NOT PUT ME IN A VEHICLE AND DID NOT WANT TO OWN UP TO THE FACT THAT THERE EMPLOYEE GAVE ME FALSE INFORMATION IT SEEMED LIKE EVERYONE I SPOKE TO BLEW ME OFF AND DIDN'T CARE. I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE FROM THEM FOR ABOUT $24,000. I FEED HEARING SOMETHING IN MY AIR FOR MONTHS AND KEPT TAKING THE CAR BACK AND THEY KEPT SAYING THEY FIXED IT AND I KEPT HEARING AND I ALSO NOTIFIED THEM ABOUT MY CAR NOT PICKING UP SPEED AND BECAUSE THEY COULDN'T FIND ANY CODES THEY COULDN'T FIGURE IT OUT. I HAD HAVE ALMOST GOTTEN HIT FROM BEHIND 3 TIMES BECAUSE MY CALL WAS NOT PICKING UP SPEED WHEN I WOULD SWITCH LANES I COULD BE GOING 70 ON 485 AND MY CAR FELT LIKE IT WAS GOING 20 AND DEALERSHIP REFUSED TO PRESS THE ISSUE. THE ENGINE IS THE PROBLEM.

WHEN OPERATING THE VEHICLE, ESPECIALLY ON TURNS, THE CAR WILL CUT OUT AND NOT ACCELERATE WHEN THEY ACCELERATOR IS PUSHED DOWN. IT'LL LEAVE A LAG AND THEN SUDDENLY ENGAGE AND TAKE OFF QUICKLY. IT'S LIKE A STUDDER BUT HAS LEFT ME TRYING TO TURN ACROSS TRAFFIC AND SIT IN THE SAME SPOT, PAUSED AND NOT ABLE TO MOVE WITH ONCOMING TRAFFIC HEADED FOR ME.

I WAS DRIVING HOME FROM WORK WHEN I LOST POWER AND COULD NOT GET GAS TO THE ENGINE. WAS GOING UP A HILL WITH TRAFFIC BEHIND ME AND HAD LITTLE POWER. HAD THE GAS PEDAL PRESSED TO THE FLOOR AND COULD NOT GO ANY FASTER THAN 11 MILES AN HOUR. THE ENGINE WAS NOT GETTING ANY GAS. I WAS AFRAID OF PULLING OVER ON A HILL BECAUSE I DIDN'T KNOW IF I WOULD BE ABLE TO GET THE VEHICLE TO GET MOVING BACK UP THE HILL AFTER STOPPING.
