TAKATA RECALL....WHILE DRIVING ABOUT 68 MPH ON AN INTERSTATE OVERPASS TODAY, MY JEEP WENT INTO THE DREADED "DEATH WOBBLE". IT WAS HORRIFYING...I LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND THOUGHT I WOULD FALL OVER THE OVERPASS. THERE WAS NO WARNING, NO BUMPS OR POT HOLES. THIS IS THE SCARIEST THING I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED ON THE ROAD. IT FELT LIKE 4 BLOW-OUTS SIMULTANEOUSLY. I CANNOT BELIEVE THERE IS NO RECALL ON SUCH A DANGEROUS ISSUE. *TR

JUST AS ALL THE OTHER 2007 JEEP WRANGLERS MY CLOCKSPRING HAS GONE BAD AND MY AIRBAGS AND HORN MALFUNCTION CONSTANTLY. I FILED A REPORTS YEARS AGO BUT THAT SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN REMOVED. I SEE THAT THE 2008 JEEP WRANGLERS HAD THIS RECALLED, BUT 2007 JEEPS WERE NOT GOOD ENOUGH. GUESS OUR LIVES AND THE LIVES OF OUR FAMILIES DON'T MEAN SQUAT.

MY 2007 JEEP JKU SAHARA WILL COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN AND STALL AT ANY GIVEN TIME WHILE I AM DRIVING AT ANY SPEED. THE WIPERS AND HORN WILL GO OFF EVEN WHEN IN THE "OFF" POSITION, FOLLOWED BY THE ENGINE STALLING. MY WHEELS WILL LOCK UP AND I CANNOT GIVE THE VEHICLE GAS. I CAN ONLY BRAKE AND SLIGHTLY TURN OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS BECAUSE THERE IS NO TELLING WHEN IT WILL HAPPEN. RECALL FOR TIPM HAS ALREADY BEEN "REPROGRAMMED" AND APPARENTLY THERE ARE NO POWER MODULES AVAILABLE. THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME THAT IF A CERTAIN CODE DOES NOT POP UP, THAT I WILL HAVE TO REPLACE EVERYTHING ON MY OWN. WELL, HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO DO THAT WHEN THERE ARE NO POWER MODULES AVAILABLE? AS I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY, REACHING SPEEDS OF APPROXIMATELY 60MPH, I HIT A ROUGH PATCH IN THE ROAD AND THE JEEP BEGIN TO SHAKE BACK AND FORTH VERY FORCEFULLY, PULLING TO THE RIGHT. ONCE I LET OFF THE GAS AND THE JEEP SLOWED DOWN TO APPROX. 40MPH, IT FINALLY STOPPED. EVERY TIME I HIT A ROUGH PATCH IT WILL SHAKE VIOLENTLY. MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE NAMED THIS "THE DEATH WOBBLE".

WE HIT A BAD PATCH IN THE ROAD, AND THE JEEP BEGAN TO SHAKE VIOLENTLY. MY HUSBAND TOOK HIS FOOT OFF THE ACCELERATOR AND LET IT SLOW DOWN ON IT'S OWN, I PUSHED THE HAZARD LIGHTS, AND WE CAREFULLY MOVED INTO THE EMERGENCY LANE. WE EXAMINED THE TIRES AND UNDERCARRIAGE NOT KNOWING WHAT HAD HAPPENED. WE THOUGHT MAYBE OUR SHOCKS NEEDED REPLACING WHICH WE SUBSEQUENTLY DID. THIS ISSUE HAS OCCURRED TWICE SINCE. AGAIN, THE VEHICLE SHAKES VIOLENTLY AND IS VERY DIFFICULT TO MANAGE. WE SIMPLY LET THE VEHICLE SLOW (WITHOUT HITTING BRAKES) AND EVENTUALLY, IT COMES BACK UNDER CONTROL. HONESTLY, I AM VERY UNCOMFORTABLE IN THE VEHICLE AT THIS POINT IF WE ARE ON ROUGH ROADS.

THE ONLY WAY TO STOP THE RATTLE/WOBBLE AFTER IT BEGINS, IS TO COME TO A COMPLETE STOP. I HAVE HAD SEVERAL REPAIR SHOPS EXAMINE IT, ALIGNMENT CHECKED, TIRES REPLACED, SUSPENSION PARTS REPLACED.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE STEERING DAMPER, BOTH FRONT AND REAR SHOCKS AND BOTH FRONT TIRES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 54,000.

DEATH WOBBLE!!! DEATH WOBBLE!!! AS I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE WITH HEAVY TRAFFIC, I HIT A BUMP GOIN 65 MPH AND SUDDENLY WITH OUT ANY WARNING THE FRONT END OF MY JEEP STARTED RAPIDLY WOBBLING BACK AND FORTH ACROSS THE ROAD, NEARLY CAUSING MULTIPLE ACCIDENTS. IT STARTLED ME SEVERELY, I WAS ABLE TO TURN ON MY HAZARD LIGHTS AND STARTED TO SLOWLY DECELERATE WHILE TRYING TO STEER TO THE SHOULDER. IT TOOK UNTIL I GOT DOWN TO 25MPH FOR IT TO STOP SHIMMYING. I STOPPED ON THE SHOULDER TO INSPECT THE FRONT END OFF THE HIGHWAY, CHECKED MY TIRE PRESSURE, THE SHOCKS, AXLE AND ALL OTHER PARTS TO SEE WHAT BROKE. EVERYTHING APPEARED TO BE NORMAL AND I COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING THAT CAUSED THE SEVER WOBBLING BACK AND FORTH OF THE FRONT END, SO CARRIED ON, VERY CAUTIOUSLY. THIS HAPPENS QUITE OFTEN, SOMETIMES GOING AS LOW AT 45MPH, BUT ONLY WHEN SOMETHING IN THE ROAD KNOCKS IT OFF BALANCE. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE IN MY JEEP AT ALL. THE JEEP DEALER TELLS ME THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE JEEP'S SUSPENSION AND I HAVE HAD SEVERAL INDEPENDENT MECHANICS TELL ME THEY DONT KNOW WHAT TO REPLACE INORDER TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM THAT THE ONLY THING THEY HAVE LUCK WITH FIXING THE ISSUE IS TOO REPLACE THE ENTIRE FRONT-END ALONG WITH THE AXLE. THE DOORS WILL NO LONGER LOCK OR UNLOCK, AT TIMES THE LOCKING OF THE DOORS IS INTERMITTENT. WE RECENTLY HAD THE CLOCK SPRING REPAIRED AT LAMPE DODGE AND THEN THE LOCKS STARTED MALFUNCTIONING. I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A REPAIR SHOP AND THEY CALLED THE DEALERSHIP AND WERE INFORMED THAT I NEEDED TO REPLACE THE TIPM MODULE. I AM RESEARCHING THIS OUT MYSELF DUE TO THE DEALERSHIP REPORTING THIS WAS A COMMON PROBLEM THAT JEEP IS IGNORING. ADDITIONALLY I WILL BE FILING A REPORT ON THE 2007 WRANGLER EXHAUST SYSTEM. THE SAME REPAIR SHOP WAS LOOKING INTO THE EXHAUST NOISE COMING FROM THIS VEHICLE AND INFORMED ME OF TWO CRACKED EXHAUST MANIFOLDS. ADDITIONALLY EXHAUST MANIFOLD 1 WAS MISSING 3 BOLTS AND EXHAUST MANIFOLD 2 WAS MISSING 2 BOLTS. AT THIS TIME THE MECHANIC BELIEVED THE BOLTS HAD BEEN FORCED OUT OF THEIR LOCATION BY FAULTY EXHAUST MANIFOLDS THAT WARPED.

I REPLACED THE SHOCKS, AND CHECKED TORQUE ON ALL FRONT END COMPONENTS, SAME PROBLEM. I ORDERED A NEW TRACK BAR (PANNARD ROD) WHICH I FOUND OUT HAD BEEN UPGRADED, AND WELDED REINFORCEMENTS WHERE THE BAR MOUNTS ON THE AXLE AND FRAME SUCH THAT THE BOLTS (ALSO REPLACED) FIT TIGHTER. PROBLEM GONE SINCE, 25000 MILES AGO. ALL STOCK SUSPENSION AND TIRE SIZE. THE DENIAL FROM CHRYSLER IS UNACCEPTABLE. *TR

I BOUGHT A USED 2007 JEEP WRANGLER 4-DOOR SAHARA IN MARCH OF 2012. ABOUT 30 DAYS AFTER THE PURCHASE (WHICH IS WHEN DEALER WARRANTY EXPIRED) THE VEHICLE'S BRAKES STARTING SQUEAKING. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID IT WAS BECAUSE THE BRAKES WERE DIRTY. THEY "CLEANED" THE BRAKES AND SENT ME ON MY WAY. THE NEXT DAY THE BRAKES STARTED SQUEAKING AGAIN EVERY TIME I BRAKE. I TOOK IT BACK AND THEY SAID THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO BECAUSE THE BRAKES WERE BRAND NEW. AT THIS TIME, THE FRONT PASSENGER DOOR ALSO STOPPED LOCKING CORRECTLY. THE WARRANTY I HAD PURCHASED FOR $2,000 DID NOT COVER ELECTRONICS! A COUPLE MONTHS GO BY AND I EXPERIENCED THE POPULAR DEATH WOBBLE AFTER GETTING AN OIL CHANGE AND TIRE ROTATION. IT TURNS OUT THE REAR TRACKBAR BRACKET WAS CRACKED AND EVENTUALLY COMPLETELY BROKE IN HALF. I BOUGHT A HEAVY DUTY ADJUSTABLE REAR TRACKBAR AND HAD A NEW BRACKET WELDED ON WHICH SEEMED TO FIX THE PROBLEM FOR A FEW DAYS. THEN THE DEATH WOBBLE STARTED AGAIN. I THEN TOOK THE JEEP TO GET THE TIRES ROTATED AND BALANCED AND THE DEATH WOBBLE STARTED AT JUST 30MPH AS WE WERE LEAVING THE SHOP. I TOOK IT BACK AND THEY WERE DUMBFOUNDED AS TO WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. SO THEY PLACED THE TIRES BACK WHERE THEY WERE WHEN I TOOK IT IN AND IT STOPPED FOR A COUPLE MORE DAYS. SINCE THEN I HAVE REPLACED THE FRONT TRACKBAR, STEERING STABILIZER, AND SHOCKS, WHICH ALL SEEMED TO HAVE PUT IT AT BAY. HOWEVER, NOW I HAVE $340-A-PIECE TIRES THAT HAVE BEEN WORN OUT AND I HAVE BEEN TOLD I CANNOT GET THE ALIGNMENT FIXED UNTIL I REPLACE THE FRONT BALL JOINTS! I PAID ABOUT $30,000 FOR THIS VEHICLE OUT OF THE DEALERSHIP AND HAVE HAD TO PUT IN AROUND $2500 IN REPAIRS AND UPGRADES DUE TO POOR CRAFTSMANSHIP OF THIS VEHICLE. ON TOP OF THAT I CANNOT EVEN DRIVE IT WITH MY FAMILY FOR FEAR OF OUR SAFETY. I HAVE SEEN MANY ONLINE FORUMS WITH PEOPLE HAVING THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM. THE DEALERSHIP WON'T HELP ME. THE PAST COUPLE YEARS I'VE NOTICED MY JEEP HAVING A WOBBLE WHILE CROSSING 60MPH, BELOW 57 IT STOPPED ABOVE 63 IT STOPPED. I HAD NEW TIRES AND BALANCE COMPLETED. THE WOBBLE WAS STILL PRESENT. WHILE DRIVING DOWN A 4-5% GRADE ON STATE ROUTE 285 (4 LANE DIVIDED HIGHWAY MOST OF THE WAY) I TOUCHED THE BRAKES AND THE FRONT END STARTED TO VIOLENTLY WOBBLE.. ENOUGH TO RIP THE STEERING WHEEL FROM MY HANDS. THIS ALMOST PUT ME INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC. THE WOBBLE FINALLY STOPPED AT 25MPH. THE TIRES CHIRPED IN TUNE TO THE VIBRATION. I HAVE TO ASSUME FROM LOSS OF CONTACT WITH THE ROAD. THE VEHICLE JERKED SIDE TO SIDE DURING THIS WOBBLING. ONCE STOPPED I CHECKED UNDER THE FRONT END AND ONLY NOTED THAT MY STABILIZER WAS NOW LEAKING FLUID AND WAS BENT. THIS HAPPENED AROUND JULY 18TH WITH MY 8 YEAR OLD IN THE VEHICLE. ONCE I WAS ABLE TO GET THE VEHICLE BACK TO TOWN I TOOK OFF THE OLD TRACK BAR, DID THIS DUE TO THE OVERWHELMING NUMBER OF POSTS ON THE INTERNET. I TOOK OFF THE ORIGINAL BAR AND NOTED THE BACK SIDE OF THE UPPER AND LOWER BRACKETS "HOLLOWED OUT" OR OBLONGED. I REMOVED THE TRACK BAR AND PLACED THE BOLTS BACK INTO THE MOUNTS AND WIGGLED THEM TO ASSESS IF THE MOUNTS WERE OUT OF ROUND. I NOTED THE BOTTOM BACK MOUNTING HOLE HAD APPROX. 1/4 INCH OF MOVEMENT AND THE TOP BACK MOUNTING HOLE HAD 1/8 INCH OF MOVEMENT. I AM CURRENTLY SEEING A JEEP CERTIFIED MECHANIC TO HAVE STAINLESS STEEL WASHERS ADDED TO THE BRACKETS TO ELIMINATE THE SOURCE OF THE SHAKING. THE MECHANIC STATED THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE THAT THE BRACKETS WERE MADE THINNER THEN PREVIOUS YEARS. HE ALSO STATED THE "WASHER" FIX IS ALSO A KNOWN SOLUTION TO THIS ISSUE. HOWEVER I NOTED THERE ISN'T A SMOOTH PIVOT SURFACE ON THE BOLTS THEY ARE THREADED AND ATE INTO THE STEEL INSERT IN THE TRACK BAR BUSHING. THE FIRST OCCURRENCE HAPPENED IN A CONSTRUCTION AREA. I SPOKE WITH THE SERVICE REP FROM THE DEALERSHIP, AND THEY STATED THAT THE STEERING DAMPER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, TO THE TUNE OF $275 NOT INCLUDING LABOR. I DID NOT GET THE WORK DONE BECAUSE SOMETHING DIDN'T SEEM RIGHT, BASED ON THE SERVICE REPS "IT ISN'T A BIG DEAL" STATEMENT. I HAD MY TIRE BALANCE CHECKED, AND DURING A 1400 MILE DRIVE, NEVER HAD ANOTHER OCCURRENCE. I ASKED IF ANYONE ELSE COMPLAINED ABOUT "DEATH WOBBLE" (A TERM PICKED UP WHEN I EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM TO A GROUP OF 4X4 ENTHUSIASTS), TO WHICH I RECEIVED A NEGATIVE RESPONSE. IT WAS AT FIRE STONE THAT WAS INFORMED OF TSB'S ON THE STEERING. JUST RECENTLY, THE VIBRATION IN THE STEERING HAS BECOME NOTICEABLE DURING LOW SPEEDS AND ROUGHER ROADS. AT APPROX. 60 MPH, I EXPERIENCE "DEATH WOBBLE". THE FRONT END AND STEERING SHAKE VIOLENTLY UNTIL I CAN PULL THE VEHICLE OFF THE ROADWAY. THIS HAPPENS AT 60 MPH, USUALLY ACCELERATING UP HILL, AROUND CORNERS AND OCCASIONALLY ON STRAIGHTAWAY THAT HAVE A LOT OF EXPANSION JOINTS. 60 MPH SEEMS TO BE THE MAGIC NUMBER. LAST WEEK (APPROX JAN 28TH) I WAS TRAVELING OVER THE LOCAL EXPANSION BRIDGE. I FELT SLIGHT VIBRATION IN THE STEERING, BACKED OFF THE ACCELERATOR AND SIGNALED TO MOVE ONTO THE EXIT RAMP TO I-26. WE PURCHASED THIS JEEP IN SEPTEMBER 2011 FOR OUR GRANDDAUGHTER AND WITHIN ONE MONTH AFTER PURCHASING IT SHE WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY ABOUT 60 MPH WHEN THE FRONT END BEGAN SHAKING VIOLENTLY AND SHE WAS BARELY ABLE TO SLOW DOWN, AT WHICH TIME THE SHAKING QUIT. THIS SAME INCIDENT HAS BEEN OCCURRING SPORADICALLY EVER SINCE SO WE TOOK IT TO A TIRE SHOP/MECHANIC AND THEY REPLACED THE SHIMMY SHOCK AND CHECKED THE TIRES AT A COST OF $201.22 ON 6 OCTOBER. THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO SHAKE ON OCCASION SO WE TOOK IT BACK TO THE REPAIR SHOP ON 17 OCTOBER AND THEY SUGGESTED CHANGING OUT THE OUTER TIE ROD ENDS TO SEE IF THAT WORKS AT A COST OF $184.46, BUT WOULD NOT GUARANTEE THAT IT WOULD SOLVE THE PROBLEM. I HAVE SINCE "GOOGLED" THE WORDS "DEATH WOBBLE" ON THE INTERNET AND HAVE FOUND THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE JEEPS BUT APPARENTLY CHRYSLER IS NOT ACKNOWLEDGING THAT IS A PROBLEM AND MOST PEOPLE ARE SPENDING AROUND $1000 IN HOPES OF FIXING THE PROBLEM ALTHOUGH IT SOUNDS LIKE THE ONLY SOLUTION IS TO TRADE IT IN AND LET SOMEONE ELSE DEAL WITH THE PROBLEM. WE WENT TO VISIT FAMILY OVER THE WEEKEND IN ARKANSAS AND THE SHAKING WAS FAIRLY FREQUENT AND NOW THE GRANDDAUGHTER IS AFRAID TO EVEN DRIVE THE VEHICLE. I TOOK IT TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO STATED THIS WAS A RATHER COMMON OCCURRENCE AND THAT IT WOULD COST ABOUT $1700 TO FIX WITH REPLACING U-JOINTS, AND ADDING A STABILIZER BAR. FROM ON-LINE TESTIMONIALS, I AM LEARNING THAT THIS IS SIMPLY A BANDAID FIX AND THAT THE BALL JOINTS AND STEERING DAMPENER NEED TO BE REPLACED FOR A TRUE FIX. WHILE DRIVING THRU CONSTRUCTION AT APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH MY 2007 JEEP WRANGLER SAHARA UNLIMITED STARTED SHAKING AND WOBBLING VIOLENTLY. IT WAS SO TERRIFYING AND WE HAD NO IDEA WHAT WAS HAPPENING. MY DAUGHTER AND I WERE TAKING MY GRANDSON TO CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL AND HAD ANOTHER 70 MILES TO TRAVEL AHEAD OF US AND WERE SCARED TO CONTINUE IN THIS VEHICLE. ALTHOUGH JEEP WON'T OFFICIALLY RECOGNIZE THIS AS A PROBLEM, IT HAS BEEN FIXED WITH THE 2010 MODELS BY PUTTING IN A LARGER DAMPER. WHEN I CALLED A FEW DEALERSHIPS TO FIND THE PART, I WAS TOLD THE DAMPER DOESN'T EXIST IN MY MODEL. I WAS ABLE TO FIND A 2010 DAMPER AND HAD MY MECHANIC PUT IT IN MY VEHICLE. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 JEEP WRANGLER. WHEN DRIVING OVER A BUMP IN THE ROAD, THE VEHICLE STARTED SHAKING AND VIBRATING. THE WHEELS ALSO MOVED TO THE LEFT AND RIGHT WHICH CAUSED THE DRIVER TO LOSE CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. THE FIRST TIME THE INCIDENT OCCURRED, HE WAS ABLE TO STOP THE VEHICLE AND DRIVE IT TO THE DEALER. THE MECHANIC REPLACED THE EXHAUST SYSTEM AND A STEERING ARM DAMPER WITH AN OVERSIZED ONE. THE BRAKE LINES AND TRANSMISSION WERE ALSO REPAIRED. THE FAILURES RECURRED CONTINUOUSLY AFTER THE REPAIRS WERE MADE. THE DEALER HAS UNSUCCESSFULLY MADE 15 ATTEMPTS TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT HAS REFUSED TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE DUE TO THE SAFETY RISK INVOLVED. THE CONTACT HAS REQUESTED THAT THE MANUFACTURER AND THE DEALER ALLOW HIM TO RETURN THE VEHICLE; HOWEVER, THEY AGREE THAT THEY ARE UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT IS CERTAIN THAT THE FAILURE IS A MANUFACTURERS DEFECT. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 3,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 55,000.

THE PROBLEM INCREASED TO THE POINT WHERE THERE IS A POPPING FELT THROUGH THE STEERING WHEEL AS WELL AS BOTH THE ACCELERATOR AND BRAKE PEDALS WHEN LIGHT PRESSURE IS PLACED ON THE FRONT WHEELS WHILE TURNING (TURNING AT LOW SPEEDS THROUGH TRAFFIC CIRCLES, GOING OVER UNEVEN PAVEMENT WHILE TURNING, SMALL BUMPS IN THE ROAD, ETC). THE FEEDBACK FELT CONTINUES TO GET WORSE UNTIL THE POINT IT FEELS UNSAFE TO OPERATE THE VEHICLE. I HAVE HAD THE VEHICLE BACK INTO THE ONLY 2 JEEP DEALERSHIPS WITHIN A 90 MILE RADIUS OF MY PLACE OF RESIDENCE MORE THAN 3 TIMES. AT FIRST THE FRONT END SWAY BAR WAS REPLACED, TO NO AVAIL. THE 2ND TIME THE STEERING COLUMN SHAFT WAS REPLACED, WITH ONLY A SHORT TERM ALLEVIATION OF THE PROBLEM. AT FIRST WHEN THE SHAFT WAS REPLACED, THE STEERING FELT AS NEW (TIGHT, WITH GOOD CONTROL, AND NO FEEDBACK). VEHICLE HAS BEEN BACK TO THE DEALER 4 MORE TIMES FOR "RETORQUING OF THE SUSPENSION" AND VARIOUS OTHER POTENTIAL FIXES. NOTHING HAS FIXED OR EVEN MITIGATED THE PROBLEM. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 JEEP WRANGLER 4X4. WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH, THE ENTIRE VEHICLE SHAKES SEVERELY AND THE STEERING WHEEL SHAKES UNCONTROLLABLY. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE STEERING STABILIZER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 13,000 AND THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.

I HAVE A 2007 JEEP WRANGLER 4DR 4WD THAT HAS STALLED TWICE WHILE TRAVELING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. THE VEHICLE HAS LESS THAN 6,000 MILES AND I'VE REPORTED THE PROBLEM TO THE DEALER AND THEY SAY THEY CAN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT. THE FIRST OCCURRENCE OCCURRED DURING THE DAY WHILE TRAVELING AT APPROXIMATELY 65MPH FOR OVER AN HOUR. THE VEHICLE CUT OUT, ALL THE DASH LIGHTS CAME ON, I LOST POWER STEERING, AND WITHIN 3 SECONDS THE VEHICLE "RE-STARTED" ITSELF ON ITS OWN. THE SECOND OCCURRENCE OCCURRED SEVERAL MONTHS LATER WHILE TRAVELING AT 70MPH FOR OVER AN HOUR. THE INCIDENT OCCURRED AT NIGHT AND THE SAME THING HAPPENED. ALL THE SUDDEN THE ENGINE CUT OUT, I LOST HEADLIGHTS, AND WITHIN 3 SECONDS THE VEHICLE CAME BACK ON AND EVERYTHING WAS FINE. AGAIN, I REPORTED TO THE DEALER, AT THEY COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING. *TR
