I purchased this vehicle in the end of October and shortly thereafter within 50 miles two days the check engine light came on P0299 turbo under boost. Immediately thereafter, exhaust fumes began entering the cabin from the engine bay. I notified the dealership and they gave me a loaner vehicle and they took it to complete auto care in Denver Colorado to have the vehicle fixed. I was told that the vehicle had a cracked turbo manifold, and the turbo manifold and the entirety of the setup of the turbo needed to be replaced. I find that odd that the check engine light came on with 50 miles of purchasing the new vehicle on the second day. It appears to me that the check engine light was cleared from the vehicle, and the vehicle was sold only for the light to return more quickly than they anticipated.I received the vehicle back no check engine light no exhaust fumes. It appeared had been repaired. I went through a 500 mile break-in of the new turbo. Within that 500 miles of the new turbo, I began to smell a gasoline, also coming from the vents and the engine bay once again entering the cabin. I documented all of this information and I contacted the dealership. Hooshies Auto Sales in Denver Colorado. And I also contacted the shop that completed the repair repairs. The dealership has not responded to multiple emails, indicating there’s an immediate risk to myself and my daughters in the vehicle from carbon monoxide from the exhaust fumes entering the cabin, not only that fuel fumes are still entering the cabin. The check engine light is back on P0299 turbo underboost. I have parked the vehicle as it is no longer drivable. I am in need of a vehicle for work and for personal needs. The dealership has escalated this to the owners, which I have tried to contact multiple times via phone and email and they will not respond nor will they call me back.

The fuel outlet flange mounted on the fuel tank cracked, which caused a fuel leak that could have resulted in a fire. This has been confirmed by the dealership currently servicing the vehicle. There were no hazard lights that came on to indicate an issue. Only the extreme smell of raw fuel. There has been another recall for this same issue on other models. Please expand to my model too as this is extremely concerning and dangerous. Recall date 2021-08-12 Recall no. 21V635000 Thank you.

I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FILL THE GAS TANK COMPLETELY, AND THE PUMP SHUTS OFF MULTIPLE TIMES DURING THE REFUEL PROCESS EVERY TIME I PUMP GAS. I HAVE TRIED DIFFERENT ANGLES, DIFFERENT GAS STATIONS, TRIED TO REFUEL SLOWLY BUT IT STOPS MULTIPLE TIMES.

THE D FOR DRIVE ON THE DASH WILL FLASH WITH A RING AROUND IT AND I WILL BE STUCK ON THE ROAD FOR THE LONGEST OF A MINUTE NOW WITH ZERO POWER. FIRST TIMES WERE ON LOCAL STREETS , AND ONE OF THE LAST TIMES IT HAPPENED WHILE ON THE HIGHWAY IN THE MIDDLE LANE. THE PROBLEM HAS ONLY GOTTEN WORSE HOWEVER. NOW THE CAR WHILE MOVING IF YOU APPLY THE BRAKE TO A STOP IT WILL COMPLETELY SHUT THE CAR OFF AND PUT ITSELF IN PARK. THIS IS NOT THE AUTO START FEATURE. I LET OFF THE BRAKE THE SHIFT KNOB TURNED ITSELF TO PARK AND THEN RECESSED ITSELF IN THE CONSOLE AND WOULDN'T TURN BACK ON UNTIL AFTER 3 ATTEMPTS TO RESTART THE VEHICLE. ALSO ASSOCIATED WITH THE VEHICLE. ON INITIAL START THE RANGE ROVER WILL NOT DEPLOY THE REAR VIEW MIRRORS, THEY STAY FOLDED IN UNTIL YOU TURN OFF AND TURN ON THE CAR REPEATABLE. AT A STOP WHILE CAR IS RUNNING THE REAR TAILGATE WILL OPEN. THIS HAPPENED RIGHT IN THE DEALERSHIP PARKING LOT AFTER I PICKED IT UP FOR "SERVICE" AND THEN DOWN THE STREET AT A GAS STATION IT OPENED ITSELF 3 TIMES IN THE COURSE OF 10 MINUETS. ON EVERY SINGLE OCCASION THE CAR HAS BEEN RETURNED BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP AND EVEN TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP. EVERY SINGLE TIME THE CAR HAS BEEN RETURNED WHILE WE WERE TOLD NOTHING IS WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE. YET THE PROBLEM STILL HAPPENS. VERY UNSAFE, ESPECIALLY WHILE GOING FROM 60MPH TO NOT BEING ABLE TO ACCELERATE, THEN COMING TO A COMPLETE STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HIGHWAY. AT THIS TIME I WILL NOT NAME THE DEALERSHIP ASSOCIATE WITH SUCH HORRIBLE HELP AS THERE IS A ONGOING INVESTIGATION.
