I RECEIVED THE NOTICE IN NOVEMBER OF 2020 ABOUT THIS SAFETY ISSUE. THREE WEEKS AGO THE REAR SPOILER FLEW OFF WHILE DRIVING AT POSTED SPEEDS DOWN THE HIGHWAY, UNBEKNOWNST TO ME UNTIL I ARRIVED AT MY DESTINATION. I IMMEDIATELY CALLED THE DEALER TO SCHEDULE THE REPAIR BASED ON THIS NOTICE, AND AM NOW BEING TOLD THE PART IS UNAVAILABLE, WITH NO ETA. I AM EXPERIENCING "LOSS OF USE" OF MY VEHICLE DUE TO THIS SAFETY RECALL, WHILE I AM WAITING FOR THIS PART. LAND ROVER JAGUAR WILL NOT AGREE TO COVER ANY ADDITIONAL DAMAGE SHOULD I CHOOSE TO DRIVE MY VEHICLE WITH THE WIRING EXPOSED DUE TO THE SPOILER NOT BEING REPLACED IN A TIMELY MANNER.

I NOTED THAT THE REAR SPOILER CONSISTS OF TWO MAIN PARTS THAT ARE FASTENED TOGETHER, HOWEVER OVER TIME THE TWO SECTIONS BECOME SEPARATED. THERE DOES APPEAR TO BE A CURRENT RECALL NOTED FOR THIS ISSUE, HOWEVER IN THE DEALERS INITIAL NOTIFICATION IT WAS INDICATED THEY WOULD FOLLOW UP WITH ADDITIONAL COMMUNICATION WHEN THEY RECEIVED THE NECESSARY PARTS FOR REPAIR. AM CONCERNED THAT THE PART COULD COME OFF AT ANY TIME WHILE ON THE HIGHWAY.
