I'VE CALLED CORPORATE AND LOCAL DEALERS AT LEAST ONCE PER QUARTER TO CHECK STATUS AND MORE IMPORTANTLY IF THE PRODUCTS HAD BEEN DELIVERED TO A REMEDY. I JUST RECEIVED ANOTHER NOTICE FROM LEXUS STATING THE RECALL NOW HAD A REMEDY, BUT WHEN YOU CALL LOCAL DEALERS, THEY DON'T HAVE THE PARTS, HAVE NO CLUE WHEN MORE PARTS WILL ARRIVE, AND HAVE TO BE PLACE ON A WAIT LIST WITH NO IDEA OF DURATION. I HAVE YOUNG CHILDREN WHO ENJOY RIDING IN THE FRONT SEAT, BUT CAN'T BECAUSE ALL THE BACK AND FORTH ABOUT BLAME AND LACK OF A REMEDY. A RECALL OF ANY KIND SHOULD NOT TAKE THIS LONG TO FIND A REMEDY AND FIX AFFECTED VECHICLES.

I UNDERSTAND THAT HAVING AN OLDER MODEL VEHICLE PUTS MY PASSENGER AT GREAT RISK TO INJURY DUE TO THE DETERIORATION OF THE PROPELLANT. PASSENGER OCCUPANCY SENSOR ERROR CODE WAS DETECTED AND NOW AIRBAG LIGHT IS TURNED ON THE DASHBOARD. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND CALLED THE CORPORATE OFFICE TO HELP PAY FOR IT AND THEY DENIED THE REQUEST. THE DEALER IS CHARGING $1800 FOR THE PART AND $800 FOR LABOR. I JUST GOT MY TRANSMISSION REBUILT AND NOW DEALING WITH AIRBAG ISSUE. THERE'S BEEN A RECALL FOR ANOTHER AIR BAG ISSUE ON THE PASSENGER SIDE WHICH THE CORPORATE TOOK CARE OF THIS THEY WILL NOT HELP WITH THE OCCUPANCY SENSOR NOT WORKING. PLEASE ASSIST US ON HOW THEY EXPECT THE CONSUMERS TO PAY SUCH A PRICE TO DRIVE WITH WORKING AIRBAG. THE FAILURE CONTINUED TO RECUR SO THE VEHICLE WAS AGAIN TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT WAS REPLACED. THE FAILURE CONTINUED TO OCCUR. FRONT END CRASH OF MY 2007 LEXUS ES 350 WITH A FORD F-150. MY CAR WAS TOTALED AND THE FRONT 1/3 OF MY VEHICLE WAS DAMAGED. THERE WAS NO AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT IN MY VEHICLE. I HAVE A 2007 LEXUS ES350 ULTRA LUXURY EDITION THAT WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT (A WOMAN RAN THROUGH A STOP SIGN AND BROADSIDED ME AT ABOUT 35MPH) THIS ACCIDENT OCCURRED ON SEPTEMBER 30TH 2007, I CONTACTED LEXUS ON OCTOBER 1ST 2007 TO INFORM THEM THAT THE AIRBAGS IN THIS 2007 ES350 ULTRA LUXURY EDITION NEVER DEPLOYED AND THAT I DIDN'T BELIEVE THIS TO BE A SAFE VEHICLE BECAUSE I COULD NOT IMAGINE WHAT TYPE OF IMPACT THIS VEHICLE WOULD HAVE TO BE SUBJECTED TO FOR THE AIRBAGS (SIDE AND SIDE CURTAIN) TO DEPLOY. I HAVE CALLED BACK INTO LEXUS MANY MANY TIMES, SENT EMAILS, AND CAN ONLY GET THE SAME STANDARD ANSWER, THAT IT COULD TAKE UP TO FOUR TO SIX WEEKS TO GET SOMEONE OUT TO LOOK AT THE CAR. I KEEP GETTING THAT STANDARD ANSWER BUT SO FAR I HAVEN'T EVEN GOTTEN AS MUCH AS A DATE FROM LEXUS ON WHEN THIS PERSON CAN COME TO INSPECT THE CAR. I HAVE TRIED TO ESCALATE THIS ITEM WITH LEXUS BUT NO-ONE THAT I HAVE SPOKEN TO WOULD EVEN ALLOW ME TO SPEAK WITH A MANAGER OR SUPERVISOR AS PER THE LEXUS PEOPLE, THIS IS AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF AWARENESS (I WOULD HATE TO SEE HOW THEY HANDLE SOMETHING THAT IS NOT IMPORTANT TO THEM). I PURCHASED A LEXUS ES 350 AFTER MUCH RESEARCH TO FIND THE SAFEST CAR WITH ADVANCED AIRBAGS. LEXUS HAS A DUAL AIRBAG ON THE PASSENGER SIDE WHICH IS WHY I CHOSE THIS CAR. HOWEVER IT IS NOT SAFE FOR ME AS THE AIRBAG OFF LIGHT COMES ON AT TIMES , SO IN AN ACCIDENT IT MAY NOT DO ME ANY GOOD. WHEN THERE IS A BIG BUMP IN THE ROAD IT IMMEDIATELY SAYS OFF ON OCCASIONS, OTHER TIMES I DO NOTHING AND IT SAYS OFF. WHEN THIS HAPPENS, WE NEED TO PULL OVER AND TURN CAR OFF AND RESTART TO GET IT TO SAY ON AGAIN, OR SOMETIMES I BOUNCE HARD AND IT WILL KICK BACK ON. WHEN I WAS TESTED IN CAR AT LEXUS, WHICH THEY WERE VERY NICE TO ME I MIGHT ADD, I WEIGHED IN AT ABOUT 87 POUNDS AND THIS IS WHERE THE PROBLEM LIES, AS I REALLY WEIGH 115 POUNDS.
