THE TRANSMISSION HAS A SOUND SUCH AS WHEN YOU ARE ON A " WASHBOARD". THE DEALERSHIP WOULD CHANGE THE TRANSMISSION FILTER AND THE FLUID TO A NEW TYPE OF FLUID CALLED MERCON-5. PRIOR TO THE FLUID AND FILTER SERVICE PERFORMED BY THE DEALERSHIP, THE TRANSMISSION FLUID SMELLED BURNED.
