Bought vehicle from owner 02/2023. Check brake system light came on a few months after, breaks started to skip and making a sound. Took it in to Ford dealership and they showed 2 recalls but never said it would be fixed.

The contact was able to veer to the side of the road to inspect the vehicle and noticed that coolant was leaking onto the ground. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where the thermostat was replaced; however, the failure reoccurred on four other occasions. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who refilled the coolant in the vehicle. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. Additionally, the contact stated that on 5 separate occasions while driving, the brake pedal was depressed but the vehicle hesitated to respond, causing his vehicle to rear-end his wife’s vehicle. I called ford dealerships to fix the problems back in 2019 but the two recalls have not been fixed yet. Recently, my car was almost failing to stop while I was breaking down.

I am afraid to drive my car and put others in danger and I'm afraid to sell my car because I could be knowingly putting other people at risk of injury or death and I can't do that knowingly.
Acutely while driving, the brake petal went all the way to the floor. The brakes slowly slowed the car but didn’t stop it. Car was towed to the dealership May 21st. I was refused a loaner. Despite receiving two separate notices (one of which was after they had my car) telling me to go get the free fix, they have failed to provide the part. Leaving me without a car for four months. This has to be past a customary fix time.

THE FIRST TIME I CALLED WITH A CS REPRESENTATIVE ON THE PHONE THEY ADVISED ME THEY DIDN'T HAVE A PART BUT COULD ORDER IT. I ASKED ABOUT A LOANER THE REP TOLD ME ONLY THE SERVICE MANAGER CAN APPROVE THAT AND I WAS SENT TO HIS DESK WHERE I LEFT A MESSAGE. I DIDN'T RECEIVE A CALL BACK. IT SHOWS THAT THE PASSENGER AIRBAG IS OFF DUE TO HAVING SOME KIND OF WEIGHT ON THE SEAT. BUT THERE IS NOTHING ON THE SEAT AT ALL WHEN THE LIGHT ILLUMINATED. IT IS STILL ON AND STAYED ON. I READ ABOUT THE RECALL FOR THE TAKATA AIRBAGS AND I READ THE THE AIRBAG CAN EXPLODE DURING A CRASH AND THAT DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF HAVING AN AIRBAG. IT'S SUPPOSED TO SAVE LIVES AND NOT TAKE THEM AWAY. I WOULD LIKE TO GET THIS FIXED AND RESOLVED BEFORE WINTER COMES IN FULL EFFECT AND TO AVOID ADDITIONAL PROBLEMS IF AN ACCIDENT DO OCCUR.

THERE SHOULD BE AN ALTERNATIVE THROUGH RENTAL CAR BUSINESSES OR INDIVIDUAL INSURANCE TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF THE DRIVERS.

I WAS NOT INFORMED OF ANY ISSUE WITH THE VEHICLE AIRBAGS UNTIL RECEIVING A LETTER IN JULY 2016 THAT STATED THE PASSENGER FRONTAL AIRBAG MIGHT RUPTURE AND KILL THE OCCUPANT OF THAT SEAT ' WHO MOST COMMONLY HAPPENS TO BE MY PREGNANT WIFE. IT WAS FIRST REPORTED IN NOVEMBER 2014 BY THE NEW YORK TIMES THAT TAKATA WAS AWARE OF THE ISSUE. ONE CAN ONLY SPECULATE HOW MUCH EARLIER THE COMPANY OFFICIALS WERE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM. THAT THOUGHT ASIDE, IT IS CRIMINAL THAT IT TOOK LINCOLN 20 MONTHS TO DETERMINE THEY HAD THE AFFECTED AIRBAGS IN THIS VEHICLE AND ALERT THE OWNERS OF SAID VEHICLES. IT HAS NOW BEEN 5 MONTHS SINCE I RECEIVED THE LETTER. DURING THIS TIME PERIOD I HAVE CONTACTED THE COMPANY MANY TIMES AND NEVER HAVE THEY BEEN ABLE TO OFFER ANY INFORMATION WHATSOEVER. IT HAS BEEN OVER 2 YEARS SINCE THEY DETERMINED THE AIRBAG IN MY VEHICLE CAN KILL MY PREGNANT WIFE IF EVER DEPLOYED. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.
