TL- THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 MAZDA B4000 CAB PLUS. WHILE DRIVING IN INCLEMENT WEATHER, THE CONTACT BEGAN TO LOSE CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. HE THEN ENGAGED THE ELECTRONIC FOUR WHEEL DRIVE FUNCTION BUT THE FUNCTION FAILED TO ACTIVATE. THE DEALER WAS CONTACTED AND ADVISED THE CONTACT TO PURCHASE A NEW 4X4 CONTROL MODULE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS ALSO CONTACTED BUT DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY. NO REPAIRS WERE PERFORMED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN. KMJ

I PUSHED THE OVERDRIVE SWITCH REPEATEDLY WITHOUT RESULTS. I STOPPED THE TRUCK AND SHUT IT OFF AND THEN RESTARTED IT, AND THEN THE VEHICLE RESET. ERROR CODE P0741 BUT NO PROBLEM FOUND OR FIXED. DEALERS SERVICE INVOICE # MACS94327. TOLD, IF PROBLEM PERSIST WILL AT THAT TIME POSSIBLY NEED TCC SOLENOID.
