IN THE LAST 2 WEEKS, WHEN THE VEHICLE IS STARTED, THE AIRBAG LIGHT BY THE SPEEDOMETER FLASHES TWICE, STOPS, FLASHES TWICE, THEN STOPS. THIS CONTINUES FOR ABOUT 20-30 SECONDS AFTER THE CAR IS STARTED AND IS RUNNING/IDLING. ONCE THE 20-30 SECONDS HAVE PASSED, THE AIRBAG LIGHT THEN REMAINS PERMANENTLY LIT. IT REMAINS LIT WHILE DRIVING. THE CYCLE STARTS AGAIN ONCE THE CAR IS RESTARTED.

TL* TAKATA RECALL. THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 MAZDA CX-7. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE LACKED STABILITY WHEN BEING OPERATED AT HIGH SPEEDS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE LOWER CONTROL ARMS AND BALL JOINTS WERE DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBERS: 17V429000 (AIR BAGS) AND 16V593000 (SUSPENSION). THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO GET THE REMEDY COMPLETED DUE TO LACK OF COMMUNICATION BY THE DEALER (DENNIS DILLON MAZDA, 9501 W FAIRVIEW AVE, BOISE, ID). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND WAS NOT ABLE TO CONFIRM WHEN THE PARTS WERE TO BECOME AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 157,142. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.

ON THE 8TH OF AUGUST 2017 A FLASHING SIGNAL APPEARED AND I CHECKED MY MANUAL AND IT WAS AN ALERT ABOUT AIRBAG ALERT. I CALLED HILEY MAZDA IN GRAND PRAIRIE TEXAS AND MADE APPOINTMENT. THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME $99.99 AND I LEFT BECAUSE THE EVENING NEW SAID THEIR WAS A RECALL FOR AIR BAGS MY YEAR AND MODEL.

IN OCTOBER, I RECEIVED A SECOND SAFETY RECALL FOR A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS FRONT SUSPENSION DEFECT, AGAIN, NO PARTS AVAILABLE TO REPAIR MY CAR. I FEEL THAT MY VEHICLE SHOULD BE MADE SAFE NOW OR I SHOULD BE GIVEN ALTERNATE TRANSPORTATION UNTIL IT IS.

TAKATA RECALL: RECALL FOR MY VEHICLE WAS ANNOUNCED BY MAZDA IN MAY 2016 AND AS OF SEPTEMBER 14, 2016 MAZDA STILL HAS NOT PROVIDED A RESOLUTION, OTHER THAN NOT ALLOW PASSENGERS TO RIDE IN THE FRONT SEAT, I GUESS SO ONLY THE DRIVER WOULD BE KILLED DURING AN ACCIDENT. I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE NEW IN 2009 AND IT HAS BEEN LOCATED IN FLORIDA THE ENTIRE TIME WHICH IS THE HIGH RISK AREA. IT WOULD SEEM THAT MAZDA SHOULD HAVE A SOLUTION AVAILABLE BY NOW TO REPLACE THESE AIRBAGS OR PROVIDE AN ALTERNATIVE FOR REPLACING THE VEHICLE BEFORE MORE PEOPLE ARE INJURED.

MAZDA RECALL #: 9716H AUG 10, 2016 SAFETY RISK: THE VEHICLE MAY EXPERIENCE SIGNIFICANT LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH. BOTH ARE RECALLS THAT STATE THEY MAY RESULT IN CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO CRASH OR CAUSE SERIOUS HARM TO THE OCCUPANTS IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH. BOTH ARE LISTED AS INCOMPLETE; REMEDY NOT YET AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURE SHOULD HAVE TO CORRECT THESE ISSUES ASAP. THE SECOND STATES ON THE FORM MAILED TO OUR HOME "UNTIL THIS REPAIR IS PERFORMED, DO NOT ALLOW PASSENGERS TO RIDE IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT." HOW IS THAT ACCEPTABLE WHEN THEY ARE AWARE OF THE ISSUE? THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR LOOKING INTO THESE ISSUES. MY DESIRED RESOLUTION IS TO TAKE THE VEHICLE ASAP TO GET THEM CORRECTED.
