ENGINE FAILURE AS DESCRIBED IN RECALL NUMBER 95 V 0 3 3000. CALLED MAZDA AT 1-800-222-5500 ON MARCH 03, 2003, BUT WAS TOLD THAT MY VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER IS NOT IN THEIR RECALL LIST. HOWEVER, THEY WERE NOTIFIED. *JB

WHEN USING TURN SIGNAL TO GO LEFT OR RIGHT IN HOT WEATHER CONDITIONS ENGINE WILL DIE. TOOK VEHICLE TO DEALER, AND THEY WILL ONLY REPLACE TURN SIGNAL. *AK

WHILE STARTING VEHICLE AIR BAG SENSOR LIGHT REMAINED ON, AND WITHIN A FEW MINUTES OR MORE WHILE STILL PARKED, DRIVER'S SIDE AIR BAG DEPLOYED WITHOUT REASON. DRIVER SUSTAINED TEMPORY LOSS OF HEARING ON LEFT EAR. DEALER/ MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED.*AK CONSUMER STATES VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN FIVE MILES WITH AIR BAG LIGHT ON, AS SOON AS THE AIR BAG BLEW THERE WAS WHITE SMOKE FROM ENGINE, LATER ON CONSUMER KNEW RADIATOR WAS LEAKING CAUSING WHITE SMOKE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO DEALER, AIR BAG WAS REPLACED AND THE LEAKING RADIATOR WAS REPAIRED, AIR BAG CAME BACK ON TWICE AND THE CLOCK SPRING HAD TO BE REPLACED.*JB

SPEEDOMETER STAYS ON "0" EVEN WHEN THE TACKOMETER GOES UP TO "7." DEALER HAS NOT BEEN CONTACTED, AND IS NOT AWARE OF THE PROBLEM. *AK CRUISE CONTROL FAILED. ENGINE REVVED AT 40 MPH DID NOT SPEED UP. SMOKE POURED OUT OF BACK AND FRONT AND SMELL CAME INSIDE THE VEHICLE.

OWNER SAID THAT THE CAR JUST CUTS OFF/SHUT DOWN AT ANY GIVEN TIME. *AK
THE TIMING BELT FAILED, CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO STALL.
