TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 MITSUBISHI ENDEAVOR. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 20 MPH WITH THE AIR CONDITIONING UNIT ACTIVATED WHEN THE CONTACT NOTICED A LARGE ACCUMULATION OF WATER ON THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE FLOOR BOARD. THE FAILURE RECURRED WHENEVER THE AIR CONDITIONING UNIT WAS IN OPERATION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER EIGHT TIMES AND ON ONE OCCASION, AN UNKNOWN REPAIR WAS PERFORMED BUT THE FAILURE WAS NOT CORRECTED. THE VEHICLE WAS ALSO TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOUR TIMES BUT TO NO AVAIL. THERE WERE NO RESOLUTIONS FOR THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE DEFECT. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNAVAILABLE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 MITSUBISHI ENDEAVOR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR CONDITIONER LEAKED WATER ONTO THE FLOOR MATS AND CAUSED THE FLOOR TO BECOME WET. THE CONTACT STATED THAT FROM THE FLOOR BEING WET, HIS FOOT SLIPPED OFF OF THE BRAKE PEDAL. THE CONTACT DID NOT CRASH. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION WHERE THEY STATED THAT THE A/C DRAIN PAN WAS BLOCKED AND NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND STATED THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS FOR THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 170,000.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 MITSUBISHI ENDEAVOR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT INTERIOR DRIVER SIDE FLOORBOARD EXHIBITED AN ACCUMULATION OF TWO GALLONS OF WATER. THE CONTACT VACUUMED THE EXCESSIVE WATER BUT WATER CONTINUED TO ENTER THE VEHICLE. THE PROCESS WAS REPEATED THREE TIMES. THE DEALER ADVISED THAT THE FAILURE WAS A COMMON ISSUE IN HIS YEAR, MAKE AND MODEL AND WAS CONTRIBUTED TO THE AIR CONDITIONER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT HAD CONCERNS THAT THE WATER COULD POTENTIALLY CAUSE A SHORT IN THE WIRING AND LEAD TO AN ELECTRICAL FIRE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 94,000.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 MITSUBISHI ENDEAVOR. THE CONTACT STARTED THE VEHICLE AND THE AIR CONDITIONER BLOWER FAILED. THE DEALER ADVISED THAT THE AIR CONDITIONER CONNECTOR WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED AND POSSIBLY THE BLOWER AND RESISTOR. THE PART NEEDED TO MAKE THE REPAIR WAS NOT AVAILABLE ON SITE AND WOULD NEED TO BE ORDERED. THE DEALER MADE A TEMPORARY REPAIR TO THE AIR CONDITIONER BUT WAS CONCERNED WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF THE PART CATCHING FIRE. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT HE IS THE SECOND OWNER. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE SCREEN SHOULD NOT HAVE FAILED; HOWEVER, THERE ARE NO RECALLS OR WARRANTIES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE 84,000.

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 MITSUBISHI ENDEAVOR. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 25 MPH WITH THE AIR CONDITIONER ACTIVATED, THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE FLOOR EXHIBITED WATER LEAKAGE. THERE WAS AN EXCESSIVE ACCUMULATION OF WATER WHILE DRIVING. THE WATER DAMAGE RESULTED IN A RAPID GROWTH OF MOLD AND MILDEW ON THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE CARPET AREA. A WATER VACUUM WAS USED FOR THE REMOVAL OF THE WATER; HOWEVER, THE IDENTICAL FAILURE OCCURRED ON A SEPARATE OCCASION. AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WERE NOTIFIED. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE CONTACT HAD CONCERNS OF THE SAFETY RISK INVOLVED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 62,000.

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 MITSUBISHI ENDEAVOR. THE VEHICLE HAS A LEAK, WHICH ACCORDING TO THE TSB, WAS CAUSED BY THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM. THE CONTACT HAS ATTEMPTED TO GET IT REPAIRED, BUT WAS INFORMED BY THE DEALER THAT DUE TO THE LABOR INVOLVED, IT WOULD BE COST PROHIBITIVE. I HAVE A 2004 MITSUBISHI ENDEAVOR. A/C WORKS SOME TIMES IN THE CITY. MOST OF THE TIME AFTER DRIVING ON THE OPEN HIGHWAY IT BLOWS WARM AIR OR NOT AT ALL. THE THERMISTOR ASSY HAS BEEN REPLACED AS WELL AS THE RESISTOR HARNESS FOR THERMISTOR ASSY. DID NOT CORRECT HE PROBLEM. MISUBISHI STATES (WHICH IS FALSE) THAT THE PROBLEM I AM HAVING WAS CAUSED BY THE PLACEMENT OF A FIN SENSOR BY AN INDEPENDENT GARAGE. WHAT IS A FIN SENSOR (NEVER HAD THIS REPLACED) AND DO YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS. THANK YOU, BILL *TR

TRUCK @ 6 MO. OLD WHEN NOTICED WATER LEAKING INTO FRONT DRIVER'S FOOT AREA. DEALER THOUGHT SEAL IN DRIVER'S DOOR CAUSED-RESEALED. LEAK CONT. DEALER REPLACED SEAL. LEAK CONT. DEALER STATED OLD WATER ON FLOOR, PROCEEDED TO VACUUM UP EVEN THOUGH OWNER INSISTED LEAK NOT RESOLVED. LEAK CON'T. OWNER CONTACTED MITSU. MOTORS, COMPLAINED, MIRACLE!! LEAK FOUND TO BE A/C HOSES PLUGGED. FIXED. ONE YEAR LATER LEAK BACK IN PASSENGER'S DASH AND ON TO FLOOR!! BROUGHT TO NEW DEALER(56 MILES FROM MY HOME!) FOUND SAME PROBLEM(A/C HOSE CLOGGED) WAS TOLD THIS IS NORMAL AND THAT IN HOT WEATHER HOSES "MELD TOGETHER" AND THAT I SHOULD HAVE THIS CHECKED PERIODICALLY! NEVER HEARD OF SUCH A THING! FUNNY, THE LEAK OCCURRED IN 75 DEGREE WEATHER THIS TIME AROUND!! THIS IS A 3 MONTH OLD CAR AND PURCHASED THE SUV NEW, AND THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR LOCKS AND WINDOW SWITCHED STOPPED WORKING. I TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALER UNDER WARRANTY REPAIRS AND THE DEALER WANTED TO CHARGE $80 TO LOOK AT THE PROBLEM. SO I END UP FIXING THE PROBLEM MYSELF IN WHICH I REPLACED A FAULTY SWITCH. NOW MY CAR'S DOME LIGHT DOES NOT WORK. ALSO AFFECTED IS THE MEMORY FOR THE CLOCK OR RADIO. THE REMOTE KEYLESS ALSO STOPPED WORKING. ALL OF THIS HAPPENED AT THE SAME TIME. THE CAR OBVIOUSLY HAS PROBLEMS AND THE DEALER WANTS TO CHARGE ME JUST FOR LOOKING AT IT. *LA
