Components that failed: -2019 & 2023 Entire headlight assembly 2x - with continuous wiring in headlight that must be adjusted before every drive. -2021 Internal lighting to illuminate the gear shift, which no longer works. -2021 Heater constantly squeals like a pig and blows every fuse, 😑 once the several fuse boxes were located. -2017 Engine revs up to 3k-4k rpm's while driving a steady 40 mph. Car went to shop after purchase for this, which is now starting again 6 yrs later. -2022 Window tint is impossible to see through and crispy to the touch. -2017 Engine sputters and car shakes signaling that the 3k miles are almost up and it's time for an oil change. -Years ago- There was a recall for passenger airbags, which hasn't been fixed, but also isn't showing up here. -Mechanics, State Inspections etc have been done as normal.
I was driving on the freeway and my hood popped up and smashed my roof and everything inside the ceiling onto my lap. The lighting and visor broken. Roof and hood damaged. I luckily survived this. I am leading this car. I took it to Nissan when this happened. They said they’d fix it but it’s been months and now no answer.
Head Lamps (Lights) stop working properly. New ballast and lights where installed after detected the Malfunction and still no lighting. I no longer can see when I'm driving at night. Yes vehicle have been inspected by police and dealer.

My Altima is 9 years old now and I know things go bad overtime but my headlights are so dim I can’t see 2 feet in front of me at night snd it’s very very dangerous. I know Nissan had s class action and I was signed up and even had an appointment to fix but sadly my husband got shit while driving home from work in Chicago, he survived thankfully but the next several months revolves around him and doctor appointments, surgeries,etc… and I missed my slot. I think it’s very unfair because these we’re getting dimmer and dimmer since 2016-2017 with the past 3 years so fin you can’t see at all. I’m so afraid I’m going to be able to see and hurt someone badly, and that would kill me in itself!! I personally am not financially able to replace these yet bc it’s pubs 1500-3000 to fix if need be. Information entertainment system is completely inoperable. no backup camera or navigation or audio. Screen is black no power. without cameras there is safety risk to those near vehicle. Dealer quoted nearly $200 to look at it and run a diagnostic. we declined this offer but am willing to have it inspected. There are no messages or warning lamps on now or prior. it is unknown what caused this failure. all fuses are in tact. Thank you.
I was driving on a street single line and my car just automatically stopped and didn't want to turn on it cranks but don't want to turn on I got scared because the cars behind me almost hit my car but I turned on my emergency lights and they when around me

The air bag light came on, on November 2021, and stays on all the time. When I took the car to the dealer to check what was wrong with it I was told the airbag might not deploy in case of impact. The car is less than 8 years old, but I was told it was not under warranty and there was no recall for that. I was told they had to replace two parts: 98820-9HN9ASensor-Side AIRBAG Center and 87650-9HP3ABack Assembly Front Seat, for a total cost of approximately $2400, but the parts were not available. The money was refunded to me three months later and the parts have not been replaced. I do not feel safe driving the car around; unfortunately it is the only car I have. The car is available for inspection upon request.
Many people complain about the sunroof leaking and the compressor. This will be the second time having issues with compressor. It effects my defrost which can be a serious safety hazard. Water accumulates in the floor boards and the headliner which causes mold and mildew which leads to respiratory issues. I paid 1200 to replace the compressor one year ago and not I am having the same issues. I see many people talk about this issue online. Standing water on the floor boards and air does not cool.
When I bought the car the headlights were dim they driver side headlight keeps burning out they said it wasn't covered under the warranty whatsoever but yet you can't see at night to drive if it is dark I cannot drive my car never have been able to since about it but yet Nissan says nothing's wrong with it hit the repairs on me this is not the first time I've made a complaint about this but it does no good

I OWN A 2014 NISSAN ALTIMA, OVER THE TIME OF OWNERSHIP I HAVE NOTICED THE HEADLIGHTS GETTING DIMMER AND DIMMER, I ASSUMED IT WAS THE BULBS AGING AND REPLACED THIS ON 02/15/2020. THE NEW BULBS (SILVANIA SILVERSTARS) WERE SUPPOSED TO BE BRIGHTER. THERE WERE NOT MUCH BRIGHTER. LATER WHEN I WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP THEY SUGGESTED NEW HEADLIGHT ASSEMBALLIES AS THE CHROME PAINTING ON THE INSIDES OF THE LENSES HAS FADED AND AS A RESULT IS NOT REFLECTING MUCH LIGHT ONTO THE ROAD. THE ESTIMATED COST OF THIS REPAIR WAS 800$. I HAVE NEVER OWNED A CAR WHERE THE HEADLIGHTS HAVE FAILED IN THIS MATTER AND AS A STUDENT IT IS UNACCEPTABLE AND DANGEROUS TO HAVE LOW BEAMS THAT ARE SO DIM THEY DO NOT EVEN APPEAR TO BE ON AT NIGHT. HOWEVER THAT SILL HAVEN'T RESOLVED THE ISSUE . I AM AT THE CONCLUSION THAT A ACCIDENT WILL TAKE PLACE DUE TO THE HEADLIGHT BEEN VERY THIN YOU CANNOT SEE WHAT IS IN FRONT OF YOU ONCE YOU ARE DRIVING THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS IN WILL TAKE SOMEONE LIFE.

TAKE IT TO MECHANIC FIND OUT IT WAS A THROTTLE BODY POSITION SENSOR AND THE THROTTLE BODY CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR REPLACED ALL THAT STILL GIVING THE SAME PROBLEM HOW TO REPLACE IT AGAIN. SO THE SPEED LIMIT WAS 70 I WAS GOING 65 SO LOST LOST IN THE ENTIRE ENGINE AT SPEED OF 65 IS REALLY DIFFICULT TO MANEUVER

THE DOUBLE SAFETY FEATURE OF PRESSING THE BREAK TO START THE CAR BECOMES VOID WHEN THE CALIPER HAS AN ISSUE EVEN WITHOUT THE BRAKE LIGHT ENGAGING TO SHOW AN ISSUE. THE CAR IS TRICKED INTO THINKING THAT THE BREAK IS BEING PRESSED AND WILL ALLOW YOU TO START IT WITH JUST PRESSING THE START BUTTON. THE ISSUE IS THAT THERE IS THAT ABOUT HALF THE TIMES A PASSENGER SITS NEXT TO THE DRIVER SEAT, THE AIRBAG SYSTEM DOES NOT DETECT THEM. WHEN I TURN THE IGNITION NOTHING HAPPENS. ALL I HEAR IS A CLICK WHERE THE CAR IS TRYING TO IGNITE. AFTER TRYING SEVERAL TIMES IT FINALLY CRANKS UP AND START. I HAVE NOTICED THAT IF YOU APPLY THE EMERGENCY BRAKE WITH CRUISE CONTROL ON, IT DOES NOT CUT OUT THE CRUISE CONTROL. I HAVE NOTICED THIS ON TRIPS UP AND DOWN I-95 IN A CAR WITH A HAND EMERGENCY BRAKE. I HAVE HAD NUMEROUS KNEE OPERATIONS AND ON LONG TRIPS I TRIED TO JUST PULL THE EMERGENCY BRAKE ON WHILE HOLDING THE BUTTON IN. I DID THIS BECAUSE OF TROUBLE WITH MY KNEES. I NOTICED THAT ALTHOUGH THE CAR DID SLOW ENOUGH FOR WHAT I NEEDED THE CRUISE WAS STILL ON WHEN I TOOK THE BRAKE OFF. I REALIZED THAT IF SOMEONE TRIED THIS IN AN EMERGENCY SITUATION THAT THE ENGINE WOULD TRY TO ACCEL AND ALL SORTS OF BAD THINGS WOULD HAPPEN. I TRIED THIS IN EVERY MAKE CAR THAT MY FRIENDS AND I HAVE. NO ONE CUTS OUT THE CRUISE CONTROL UNDER THIS SITUATION. I KNOW THE CARS SYSTEMS KNOW THE BRAKE IS BEING APPLIED BECAUSE THE LIKE COMES UP ON THE DASH. I STOPPED THE CAR AND BELIEVED I PUT IT IN PARK. I GOT OUT OF THE CAR--IT DID NOT MOVE. I WENT TO THE REAR PASSENGER DOOR AND GOT MY TWO YEAR OLD OUT OF HER CAR SEAT. THE FRONT LEFT DRIVER WHEEL NEARLY RAN ME OVER. I TRIED TO GAIN CONTROL OF THIS VEHICLE BY DESPERATELY TRIED TO STOP IT. I WAS ROLLING THE SPEED OF A SKATEBOARD RELEASED FROM THE TOP OF THE DRIVEWAY. THE STEERING WHEEL HAD LOCKED. I HAD TO PUSH HARD ON THE BRAKE. I STOPPED IT AND THERE WERE SKIDMARKS ON THE ASPHALT. I STOPPED THE CAR BEFORE IT SLAMMED INTO MY NEIGHBOR'S CAR. HAD I NOT STOPPED IT AND RISKED PERSONAL INJURY THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN A CRASH. I WAS SCARED TO DEATH TO MOVE AND LOOK. I THOUGHT MY BABY WAS DEAD. I THOUGHT THE CAR HAD CRUSHED HER. I CALLED BACK TO TELL THEM I HAD FRIENDS AND FAMILY WITH VARYING 2014 PUSH BUTTON CARS TRY AND TURN THEIR CARS OFF IN D. NONE OF THEM WOULD TURN OFF UNLESS IN PARK. WHILE DRIVING IN MY TOWN HOME COMMUNITY AND SLIGHTLY TURNING RIGHT WHILE GOING UP A SLIGHTLY INCLINED ROAD THE VEHICLE BEGINS TO SHAKE VIOLENTLY AND IT SEEMS THE TRANSMISSION IS LOCKING UP. GOES AWAY EITHER BY REMOVING ALL PRESSURE ON ACCELERATOR OR IF EXCESSIVE ACCELERATOR PRESSURE IS APPLIED. THE TYPE OF ACCELERATOR PRESSURE NEEDED TO STOP THE EXCESSIVE SHAKING WOULD BRING THE VEHICLE TO A SPEED THAT IS UNSAFE RELATIVE TO OBSERVED SPEEDS LIMITS IN COMMUNITY. EXAMPLE 2. THESE EXHIBITED SYMPTOMS HAVE ALSO OCCURRED WITH AN INCREASING FREQUENCY WHILE DRIVING ON CITY ROADS IN LIGHT TO MODERATE TRAFFIC: WHEN YOU ARE COASTING UP TO SLOWER MOVING TRAFFIC IN FRONT OF YOU AND THEN NEED TO ACCELERATE AS THAT TRAFFIC INCREASES SPEED, THE CAR WILL SHAKE VIOLENTLY. THIS OCCURS MOSTLY AT SPEEDS UNDER 30 -35 MPH BUT HAS BEEN FELT AT SPEEDS AS HIGH AS 55 MPH. IT FEELS AS THOUGH THE ENTIRE DRIVE TRAIN OF THE VEHICLE IS GOING TO FALL OUT OF THE CAR. VEHICLE CURRENTLY HAS 1200 MILES ON ODOMETER AND SYMPTOMS HAVE BEEN INCREASINGLY NOTICEABLE AND FREQUENT SINCE 605 MILES ON ODOMETER. SEPARATE ISSUE: NAVIGATION / AUDIO SYSTEM HAS FROZEN SCREEN UPON START UP AND BECOMES UN RESPONSIVE. NO ABILITY TO CHANGE PREVIOUS VOLUME LEVEL OF RADIO WHICH MAY HAVE BEEN LEFT AT HIGH VOLUME LEVEL DURING PREVIOUS DRIVE. INPUT IS NOT ACCEPTED ON HEAD UNIT OR STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS. NAVIGATION WILL NOT INITIATE. CAR MUST BE RESTARTED FOR SYSTEM TO REBOOT AND THIS MAY REMEDY THE PROBLEM FOR ONE DRIVE CYCLE OR MORE. HAS OCCURRED 5 OR MORE TIMES IN FIRST MONTH OF OWNERSHIP. SHOULD A CATASTROPHIC FAILURE IN THE DRIVE TRAIN OCCUR, I FEEL THAT I AM AT RISK OF SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY.
