Not sure when it started bc I just purchased this vehicle a month ago. While driving one evening the head lights went off and I had to turn them off and back on. Now a few weeks later and after I've changed the bulbs and made sure the fuse wasn't blown it is doing it ALOT. I'm not sure if it is a wiring problem or if it is in the on and off switch.

While driving the vehicle will suddenly stop moving, loses acceleration ability & all the dashboard lights turn on. I had work done back in Feb 22 replacing cam shaft sensors. Now Dec 22 the same thing began happening again.

BACK IN APRIL MY MURANO WOULD TURN OFF WHETHER I WAS ACCELERATING OR JUST SITTING AT A STOP LIGHT, THE BRAKE LIGHT AND BATTERY LIGHT WOULD COME ON AND VEHICLE WOULDNT START BACK UP, ENDED UP HAVING IT TOWED 3 DIFFERENT TIMES TO MECHANIC WHO COULDNT FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS WRONG BECAUSE IT WASNT SHOWING ANY CODES SO FROM THERE HAD IT TOWED TO NEWTON NISSAN WHERE IT TOOK THEM 10 DAYS TO DIAGNOSE IT WAS THE ALTERNATOR (REPLACED BATTERY FIRST BUT THAT DIDNT WORK)ENDED UP GETTING THE NISSAN ALTERNATOR VERSUS AFTERMARKET FOR THE WARRANTY, GET IT BACK EVERYTHING IS FINE, NOW IN AUGUST ALTERNATOR FAILS OUT AGAIN, BACK TO NEWTON NISSAN WE GO, THE REPLACE "ALTERNATOR" AND WHEN I GET IT BACK POWER STEERING ISNT WORKING SO AFTER THE FIXED THAT EVERYTHING WAS FINE UNTIL IT STARTED SHUTTING OFF ON ME AGAIN LIKE THE VERY FIRST TIME. MEANWHILE IVE HAD TO PAY OVER $1000 FOR THE ALTERNATOR WORK WHICH WAS RECALLED HOWEVER MY VIN DIDNT FALL UNDER THE RECALL. ENGINE COMPARTMENT AND HOOD OF CAR ARE ALSO SO HOT YOU CANT TOUCH THEM EVEN AFTER JUST DRIVING 1 MILE IN 70 DEGREEE WEATHER HOWEVER THE TEMPERATURE GAUGE ISNT RUNNING HIGH. NOW THE AIRBAG LIGHT IS FLASHING ON AND OFF UPON STARTING. I TRIED CYCLING THE ENGINE NURMEROUS TIMES BUT THE LIGHT IS STILL ON. NISSAN SAID THEY WILL HAVE TO REPLACE WHOLE UNIT FOR $5000 BECAUSE THEY CANT PIN POINT AIRBAG ISSUE. AIRBAG ISSUE ISNT FIXED AND NOBODY CAN TELL ME IF I HAVE A WORKING AIR BAG OR NOT. IM NOT SURE IF I NEED TO CONTACT AN ATTORNEY BECAUSE IM NOW CONCERNED ABOUT THE SAFETY OF MY 4 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER WHILE IN THE VEHICLE.

WHILE DRIVING ON THE STREET OR HIGHWAY ABS LIGHT COMES ON THEN VEHICLE STALLS AND ROLLS AT ABOUT 2 MPH AND THE CAR DOESN'T RESPOND WHEN I PRESS THE GAS PEDAL. USUALLY THE ABS LIGHT TURNS OFF THEN I CAN DRIVE NORMALLY. THE LAST TIME THIS HAPPENED THE CAR TURNED OFF I HAD TO PUSH IT OUT OF THE STREET AND IT WOULDN'T START UP FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS, THEN THE ABS LIGHT CAME ON AGAIN AND THEN IT STALLS WITH NO RESPONSE WHEN PRESSING THE GAS PEDAL. THIS HAS HAPPENED OVER 10 TIMES EVEN AFTER REPLACING THE BRAKES AND CHECKING ALL THE SENSORS, CHECKING THE BATTERY AND ALL OF THE CONNECTIONS AND FLUIDS.

WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY THE 2005 MURANO SLOWED DOWN, I PRESSED MORE FIRMLY ON THE GAS AND IT DID NOTHING. I PULLED ONTO THE SHOULDER OF THE HIGHWAY AND THE CAR HAD SHUT OFF COMPLETELY. I TRIED RESTARTING THE MURANO SEVERAL TIMES WITH NO LUCK. I HAD TO CALL FOR A FLAT BED TOW TRUCK WHICH TOOK 5 PLUS HOURS OF ME SITTING IN THE FREEZING COLD WITH NO POWER IN MY CAR IN THE DEAD OF WINTER. VEHICLE WAS TOWED HOME AND I WAS TOLD I NEEDED A NEW BATTERY. I WENT TO PEP BOYS AND PURCHASED A BRAND NEW BATTERY AND HAD PEP BOYS INSTALL IT FOR ME. THE NEXT NIGHT AS I WAS DRIVING MY FIANCE TO HIS HOUSE THE 2005 MURANO AGAIN LOST MOMENTUM AND WITHIN SECONDS SHUT DOWN. AND AGAIN I COULD NOT TURN THE VEHICLE BACK ON. I HAD TO CALL FOR ANOTHER FLAT BED TOW TRUCK AND WAIT LUCKILY ONLY 3 HOURS THIS TIME FOR THEM TO SHOW UP. I HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO MY MECHANIC WHO REPLACED THE ALTERNATOR IN THE VEHICLE AND ANOTHER NEW BATTERY. THAT WAS IN NOVEMBER OF 2018, IT IS NOW FEBUARY 2019 AND I HAVE NOT HAD ANY ELECTRICAL ISSUES SINCE. WHY IS THIS NOT COVERED UNDER THE RECALL THAT THERE WAS FOR THE 2005 NISSAN MURANO? I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY REFUSE TO COVER THE COST WHEN THEY HAD TO RECALL HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF THIS CAR FOR THIS ISSUE AND YET MINE WAS NOT INCLUDED?????

TAKATA RECALL..I DROVE MY 2005 NISSAN MURANO AND I PARKED THE NISSAN. 20 MINUTES LATER STARTED TO BACK THE CAR AND AS SOON AS I PUT IT ON DR IT WENT BY 2 MILES AN HOUR SO THEN I PRESSED ON THE GAS ALL THE WAY DOWN AND IT STILL WENT TO MILES AN HOUR IT'S STILL DROVE BUT IT WAS GOING AROUND 5 MILES AN HOUR. THEN I PARKED THE NISSAN AND LET IT COOL OFF AND SEE WHAT WAS WRONG. I COULD NOT FIND NOTHING, I CALLED MY HUSBAND HE COULD NOT FIND NOTHING EITHER, HE DROVE IT AROUND THE BLOCK AND IT STILL WENT 5 MILES AN HOUR SO THEN HE CHECKED THE ENGINE NOTHING WAS WRONG BUT IT DID SAY ABS AND THEN AROUND 20 MINUTES LATER THE NISSAN TURN ON AND IT WENT NORMAL AND NOTHING HAPPENED UNTIL 2 MONTHS LATER. THE NEXT TIME I WAS AT A DRIVE-THRU AND THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN THE ABS TURN ON AND IT DID NOT WANT TO GO FAST IT WENT AGAIN FIVE MILES AN HOUR. THEN I TURN AROUND THE CORNER AND THEN IT WENT FAST BUT THEN IT WENT SLOW AGAIN SO I PARK THE NISSAN, AND BEGIN TO START IT AND THEN IT WOULDN'T START THE ABS WENT ON AGAIN, THEN THE BATTERY WAS DEAD. I FINALLY GOT A JUMP AND IT TURNED BACK ON LIKE NORMAL AND IT WENT NORMAL UNTIL I GOT TO THE STORE AND I LEFT THE NISSAN ON WITH THE AIR CONDITION AND HAD MY SON IN THE CAR. MY SON SAID THAT AIR CONDITIONER KEEP GOING ON AND OFF ON AND OFF THE WINDOWS WERE NOT WORKING TRY TO ROLL DOWN THE WINDOWS IT WASN'T WORKING SO THEN I GOT IN THE CAR AND AS SOON AS I PUT IT IN DRY IT DIDN'T WANT TO GO IT WENT 5 MILES AN HOUR THEN THE ABS TURNED BACK ON AND THEN IT WENT BACK TO NORMAL I WAS DRIVING I MADE IT ALL THE WAY HOME AND THAT IS WHAT'S GOING ON WITH A NISSAN MURANO.

THEY SIMPLY TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL REGARDING THAT ISSUE. THEY SAID THAT MY MURANO WAS MADE AFTER THAT RECALL WAS ADDRESSED HOWEVER, AS MENTIONED, I'AM SEEING THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM. THE VEHICLE WAS IN A PARKING LOT IN MOTION WHEN IT FAILED.

THIS COMPLAINT RELATES TO A CLOSED RECALL FOR THE 2005 NISSAN MURANO NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 05V3190. TWO MONTHS WITH THE VEHICLE AND I HAD TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS, WHERE THE VEHICLE LOST POWER AND DRIVE-ABILITY, BRINGING MY PASSENGERS AND MYSELF TO A HARMS WAY. I CONTRACTED AAMCO TO REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION, ONE MONTH LATER, NISSAN USA HAD TO PROVIDE ANOTHER TRANSMISSION TO REPLACE THE ONE CHANGED ONE MONTH BEFORE. LAST MONDAY, JULY 06, 2015, WHILE DRIVING ON THE NEW JERSEY GARDEN STATE PARKWAY, THE VEHICLE PRESENTED SERIOUS TROUBLE, WHEN THE EMERGENCY BRAKE, AWD AND ABS WARNING LIGHTS CAME ON, AS THE VEHICLE LOST SPEED, TRANSMISSION DISENGAGED, PUTTING MY WIFE, MYSELF AND OTHER VEHICLES AROUND US IN SERIOUS RISK OF ACCIDENT. I MANAGED TO PULL THE VEHICLE TO THE SHOULDER AND LATER TO A NEAR BY FRIEND`S HOUSE IN THE GALLOWAY AREA. AFTER CONTACTING NISSAN USA REGARDING THE TRANSMISSION, THEY TOLD ME TO CONTACT AAMCO, SINCE THEY INSTALLED THE NEW TRANSMISSION. AAMCO CHECKED THE VEHICLE AND FOUND OUT THAT, THE PROBLEM WAS CAUSED BY THE ALTERNATOR THAT HEATED UP, DROPPED VOLTAGE TO 12V DC AND CAUSED THE SAFE MODE TO ENGAGE, BY MAKING THE VEHICLE UNSAFE ON THE MIDDLE OF THE HIGHWAY. NISSAN USA CLAIMS THAT THIS NHTSA CAMPAIGN HAS BEEN CLOSED, WHEN IT IS TO MY BELIEVE THAT, IT SHOULD BE RE-OPENED AND NOT ONLY ME, BUT ALSO MANY OTHER NISSAN MURANO OWNERS, THAT STILL CONFRONT SUCH FACTORY DEFECTIVE ISSUES TO HAVE THIS ISSUE RESOLVED. THEY TOLD ME EVERYTHING WAS FINE ACCORDING TO THE COMPUTER THERE WERE A LOT OF CODES THAT POPPED UP BUT THEY TOLD ME THEY WEREN'T HAPPENING ANYMORE. I ASKED OF THEY CHECKED ALL OF THE WIRES THEY TOLD ME YES. WE HAVE A 2005 NISSAN MURANO THAT HAS HAD THE DOOR LOCK ACTUATORS FAIL REPEATEDLY SINCE WE'VE OWNED THE CAR. WHEN THE LOCKS FAIL, THE DOORS AND REAR HATCH CAN NOT BE OPENED OR LOCKED WITH EITHER THE REMOTE FOB OR THE ELECTRIC CONTROLS ON THE DOORS. THEY NEED TO BE OPENED MANUALLY BY RELEASING THE LOCKING LEVER BY HAND. OFTEN WHEN THEY FAIL THE REAR HATCH CAN NOT BE OPENED BECAUSE THERE IS NOT A MANUAL RELEASE THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND IS A KNOWN PROBLEM WITH THIS STYLE OF DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR. NISSAN IS AWARE OF THIS ISSUE AND HAS DEEMED THE REPAIR OUT OF WARRANTY EVEN THOUGH THIS PROBLEM HAS OCCURRED WHILE UNDER WARRANTY AND EVER SINCE. THE INDIVIDUAL ACTUATOR FOR EACH DOOR APPROACHES $500 IN COST. THEY'VE ADVISED TO NOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM, BUY A NEW VEHICLE WHICH IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. THERE ARE NUMEROUS INSTANCES OF INTERNET COMPLAINTS ON THIS ISSUE. GENERAL MOTORS IGNORED THEIR PROBLEMS FOR YEARS AND NISSAN IS EFFECTIVELY IGNORING THIS PROBLEM. IT'S AN OPEN DOOR TO A LAWSUIT IF SOMEONE WERE TO BE MURDERED DUE TO A DOOR THAT DIDN'T LOCK, ALTHOUGH THE DRIVER PUSHED THE LOCK BUTTON AND HEARD THE LOCKING NOISE. REMEMBER, IN THIS CASE THERE'S NO OBVIOUS INDICATION THE DOOR ISN'T LOCKED UNLESS SOMEONE WALKS UP AND OPENS IT FROM THE OUTSIDE. THE DRIVE "THINKS" THE DOOR IS LOCKED, WHEN IN REALITY IT'S AN "OPEN DOOR" FOR CARJACKING OR ROBBERY. THIS FAILURE IS AN INTERMITTENT OF OPERATION. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 NISSAN MURANO. WHILE DRIVING 20 MPH THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO SHIMMY AND THEN STALL. ON SEPTEMBER 17, MY DRIVER'S DOOR WOULD NOT OPEN WITH THE KEYLESS ENTRY OR WITH THE ACTUAL KEY. I CALLED NISSAN OF QUEENS TO STATE AGAIN THAT SOMETHING FRAUDULENT WAS DONE TO MY CAR SINCE MY INITIAL VISIT ON SEPTEMBER 4. THEY ADVISED ME TO COME IN TO "CHECK" THE PROBLEM. HOWEVER, PAST EXPERIENCE LEADS ME TO BELIEVE IT WILL BE TO "FIX" THE DOOR, CHARGE ME SOME RIDICULOUS AMOUNT, AND THEN CREATE ANOTHER MALFUNCTION. THIS NEW MALFUNCTION WILL HAVE ME COMING BACK THE NEXT WEEK FOR A REPEAT OF THIS FRAUDULENT SERVICE. MY CAR IS BREAKING DOWN BEFORE MY EYES AND I CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY NISSAN WOULD LET THIS HAPPEN TO A LOYAL CUSTOMER. AS YOU KNOW TAMPERING WITH MY CAR DOOR CAN BE HARMFUL TO MY PERSON IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS: 1.HAVING A SECURE ENVIRONMENT IS PARAMOUNT IN CERTAIN NEIGHBORHOODS. WHEN LOCKING THE DOORS IT'S IMPERATIVE NOBODY CAN GAIN ACCESS AT WILL BY WALKING UP TO THE CAR. IF ANYONE CAN SIMPLY OPEN THE DOOR TO GAIN ACCESS, CARJACKING, INJURY, OR EVEN MURDER IS EASIER. IF THE DOORS LOCKED PROPERLY THIS PROVIDES A MORE SECURE ENVIRONMENT FOR THIS TYPE OF SCENARIO. 2.THERE IS A SECURITY PROBLEM WITH NISSAN LOCKING MECHANISM AND NOT RECALLING THEM FOR SAFETY CONCERN IS NEGLIGENT. IT'S AN OPEN DOOR TO A LAWSUIT IF SOMEONE WERE TO BE MURDERED DUE TO A DOOR THAT DIDN'T LOCK, ALTHOUGH THE DRIVER PUSHED THE LOCK BUTTON AND HEARD THE LOCKING NOISE. REMEMBER, IN THIS CASE THERE'S NO OBVIOUS INDICATION THE DOOR ISN'T LOCKED UNLESS SOMEONE WALKS UP AND OPENS IT FROM THE OUTSIDE. THE DRIVE "THINKS" THE DOOR IS LOCKED, WHEN IN REALITY IT'S AN "OPEN DOOR" FOR CARJACKING OR ROBBERY. 3.IN EMERGENCIES IT'S IMPORTANT TO BE ABLE TO UNLOCK DOORS QUICKLY. SINCE 99% OF THE TIME WE ALL USE THE BUTTON TO LOCK AND UNLOCK DOORS, USING THE MANUAL LOCKING LEVER IS UNFAMILIAR. THE LOCKING/UNLOCKING SOLENOID MALFUNCTIONING IS CLEARLY A HIGH RISK IN EMERGENCY SCENARIOS. SOME PEOPLE WHO CANNOT AFFORD THE $1600 TO HAVE ALL THE SOLENOIDS REPLACED (AS QUOTED BY DEALERS). *TR

THE AIR BAG INDICATOR LIGHT IS FLASHING IN THE DASH AGAIN. I HAD THIS PROBLEM FIXED ONCE BEFORE WHILE STILL UNDER WARRANTY AT THE NORTH LITTLE ROCK DEALERSHIP. ON LEAVING THE GARAGE WITHIN JUST A MILE, I MADE A LEFT TURN AND HEARD A CRUNCHING NOISE IN THE STEERING COLUMN AND IT CAME BACK ON. I WENT STRAIT BACK AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD FIX IT BUT THE (SECOND REPLACEMENT PART) WOULDN'T BE IN TILL THE NEXT DAY SO I WAS GIVEN A LOANER FOR ONE DAY. NOW IT'S BACK ON AGAIN. ALSO NOTED SHORTLY AFTER THE WARRANTY EXPIRED THAT THE LUMBAR SUPPORT ON THE DRIVERS SIDE NO LONGER INFLATES/DEFLATES AND HASN'T WORKED SINCE. I HAVE HAD ALL RECALLS FIXED AND HAD TO REPLACE THE BATTERY AT 37,000 MILES AT MY COST. ALSO HAD TO HAVE THE DEALERSHIP RESURFACE BOTH FRONT ROTORS AND REPLACE A REAR CALIPER UNDER WARRANTY THAT HAD LOCKED UP 1 & 1/2 YEARS AGO. I SEE THAT THE FRONT ROTORS ARE IN NEED OF RESURFACING AGAIN EVEN THOUGH THE BREAK PADS HAVE 1/2 OF THERE WEAR LEFT TO GO. DUE TO THE HIGHLY CHROMED /CURVED DIPSTICK, GETTING AN ACCURATE OIL LEVEL READING IS NOT POSSIBLE AT ANY TIME, SO THE DIPSTICK HAS ONLY BEEN REMOVED THREE TIME SINCE PURCHASING IT AS IT IS A POINTLESS ENDEAVOR. I OWN SIX AUTOS THAT RANGE IN AGE FROM 1972 THREW THIS 2005 MURANO AND OF ALL OF THEM, THE MURANO IS THE LEAST TRUSTED ONE. I WILL NEVER OWN ANOTHER NISSAN. *TR

NISSAN'S RECALL ON THE 2005 MURANO STATES THAT THE VEHICLE FALLS INTO A "FAILSAFE" CONDITION WHICH LIMITS VEHICLE SPEED. VERY SHORTLY AFTER THIS, THE ENGINE WILL STOP RUNNING...COULD RESULT IN A CRASH. MY VEHICLE HAD DONE THAT 4 TIMES. TWO TIMES IN HEAVY TRAFFIC. YOU HAVE ABOUT A MINUTE TO GET TO THE SHOULDER BEFORE THE VEHICLE STOPS. IN THAT MINUTE, THE VEHICLE IS RAPIDLY DECELERATES TO A CRAWL. I WAS NEARLY REAR ENDED BY A TOYOTA SEQUOIA. DOMINION NISSAN "FIXED" MY VEHICLE AND ASSURED ME IT WOULD NOT HAPPEN AGAIN. A FEW MONTH LATER, AS I NEARED MY HOME, IT HAPPENED AGAIN. THE ALTERNATOR WAS REPLACED PURSUANT TO THE RECALL NOTICE. ON JANUARY 11, 2008 I LEFT WORK AND HEADED FOR THE INTERSTATE. THE VEHICLE DECELERATED FROM 50MPH TO A CRAWL WITHIN ABOUT A MINUTE. DANGEROUSLY MADE IT TO THE SHOULDER. HAD THIS HAPPEN SEVERAL MOMENT LATER I WOULD HAVE BEEN TRYING TO MERGE ONTO THE INTERSTATE, IN RUSH HOUR, IN A CONSTRUCTION ZONE. I COULD EASILY HAVE BEEN KILLED IN SUCH A CIRCUMSTANCE. NISSAN "FIXED" THE CAR AGAIN. IT HAPPENED AGAIN ON JANUARY 19, 2008. THEY WANT TO "FIX" IT AGAIN. I SAID THAT THEY SHOULD REPLACE THE VEHICLE. GROUND WIRE TO ECM SVC BULLETIN WAS COMPLETED. RECALLED ALTERNATOR WAS REPLACED (AFTER 4TH EVENT). AIRBAG SENSOR AND AIRBAG SPIRAL CABLE WERE REPLACED FOLLOWING SEPARATE EVENTS. CURRENTLY, CARMD TOOL IS GIVING A P2135 ERROR CODE, AND STATES THAT LATEST EVENT WAS CAUSED BY THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR/SWITCH AND/OR AN "A" /"B" ELECTRICAL VOLTAGE CORRELATION ERROR. ALL "FAIL-SAFE" MODE EVENTS OCCURRED DURING HIGH-SPEED (55-65 MPH) TRAFFIC ON MULTI-LANE HIGHWAYS, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE LATEST EVENT. THREE TIMES, ENTRY INTO "FAIL-SAFE" MODE CREATED EXTREMELY HAZARDOUS SITUATIONS AND NEAR-ACCIDENTS. ON THE DATE LISTED, WHILE ENTERING TRAFFIC FLOW FROM A PARKING LOT, MY 2005 NISSAN MURANO SUDDENLY LOST POWER AND ENTER THE "FAIL SAFE" (LIMP HOME) MODE WHERE THE VEHICLE HAD NO ACCELERATION. THIS WAS A SUDDEN FAILURE AND THERE HAD BEEN NOR WERE THERE ANY INDICATIONS OF ANY DEVELOPING PROBLEMS WITH THE VEHICLE. THE ONLY WARNING LIGHT WAS THE MIL AND THE PHYSICAL LOSS OF POWER. THERE WAS NO ACCIDENT, BUT THE FAILURE COULD HAVE RESULTED IN A T-BONE COLLISION SINCE THE ONCOMING TRAFFIC WAS APPROACHING AT 50 MPH AND THERE WAS VIRTUALLY NO RIGHT HAND EMERGENCY PULL-OFF AREA ON THE ROADWAY TO SAFELY PLACE THE VEHICLE OUTSIDE TRAVEL LANES. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER FOR UNDER WARRANTY REPAIR. THIS REPAIR TOOK LESS THAN AN HOUR AND THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM WAS DESCRIBE TO ME AS A DIRTY OR LOOSE ELECTRICAL GROUND TO THE ECM. *JB

HOWEVER, TSB SAYS IT APPLIES TO THE CODE ONLY WHEN NO MALFUNCTION INDICATORS LIGHTS ARE ON. THEREFORE, I DO NOT BELIEVE PROBLEM IS FIXED. ALSO, SINCE THEN A VIBRATION IS DETECTED THROUGH THE GAS PEDAL WHEN ACCELERATING. SERVICE MANAGER AND TECH TEST DROVE AND STATED THERE WAS SOMETHING DETECTED BUT NO FIX SINCE THERE IS NO TSB FOR THIS KIND OF PROBLEM.

MY 6-MONTH PREGNANT WIFE WAS DRIVING OUR NEW MURANO WHEN ALL THE SUDDEN THE CAR'S SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT WENT ON AND THE CAR WOULDN'T GO BEYOND A FEW MILES AN HOUR ON THE INTERSTATE. ALTHOUGH SHE MADE IT HOME SAFE, WHEN WE HAD IT TOWED TO THE DEALER THEY TOLD US THAT THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR. SINCE THEIR COMPUTER DIDNT RECOGNIZE A PROBLEM, THE TECHNICIAN WOULDNT LOOK AT IT. A FEW WEEKS LATER, THE SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN TO US AND WHEN WE TOOK IT IN AGAIN THE DEALER SEEMED IGNORANT OF THE RECALL. WE RECEIVED THE RECALL NOTICE IN BETWEEN INCIDENTS AND COULDNT GET AN APPT RIGHT AWAY. WHEN I SHOWED HIM THE FORM, HE SAID THAT THE ALTERNATOR PROBABLY DIDNT NEED TO BE REPLACED BUT THAT THEY'D LOOK AT IT. IT'S FRUSTRATING THAT WE HAVE TO FIGHT SO MUCH TO GET THIS ISSUE RESOLVED.
