THE ENGINE WAS SMOGGED IN 2018 WENT TO FEB 2019 DMV THEY SAID IT NEEDED ANTHER SMOG CAR STALLS THEN PICKS UP OIL LEAKS AND WINDOWS STALL GOING UP ON DRIVER SIDE IT RUNS GOOD TAGS EXPIRE MAY 26 2018
WE HAD TROUBLE WITH STARTING THE CAR OFF AND ON SINCE WE ACQUIRED IT IN THE FALL OF 2014. MAY OF 2015 IT FINALLY SIMPLY WOULDN'T START AND WAS DIAGNOSED AS AN IGNITION SWITCH MALFUNCTION AND REPLACED. THE REPLACEMENT IS NOW NOT WORKING EITHER.

I HAD JUST PURCHASED MY 1995 OLDSMOBILE AURORA IN 8/2007 WITH UNDER 60,000 MILES AND I NOTICED THE CARD WAS SLAMMING INTO GEAR AND ALSO NOT SHIFTING CORRECTLY. ALMOST LIKE TRANSMISSION WAS SLIPPING. I SPENT OVER 1200.00 IN MOTOR MOUNT REPAIRS AND THE ISSUE CONT. UNTIL I PULLED OFF FROM A 2WAYSTOP AND MY CAR WOULD NOT MV FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET. I WAS ALMOST HIT BY ONCOMING TRAFFIC ON BOTH SIDES OF ME AND I HAD A SMALL CHILD STRAPPED IN A CAR SEAT IN THE BACK SEAT...AT THIS POINT I TOOK MY CAR TO HV THE TRANSMISSION REBUILT. THE ISSUE CONTINUED AFTER THIS AND I WAS TOLD TO REPLACE THE ALTERNATOR. I DID THIS AND THE ISSUE STOPPED BUT I CONT TO HV ELECTRICAL PROB WITH THE CAR LIKE THE WINDOWS NOT ROLLING DOWN OR SEAT NOT ABLE TO MV BK/FRTH. I WAS ABLE TO USE THE SUNROOF BUT THIS HAS STOPPED AGAIN RECENTLY AND THE ISSUES WITH POWER HAVE STARTED AGAIN. IT IS BEGINNING TO GET SHIFTY AND I AM CONCERNED TO THE POINT OF ANXIETY WHEN CROSSING INTERSECTIONS. ALSO I WAS TOLD WHEN I TOOK MY CAR TO HV A TUNE UP DONE I WAS TOLD THERE WAS AN ELECTRICAL ISSUE AS THE MECHANIC INFORMED ME HE RMVD A FUSE WHICH SEEMED TO BE SMOKING. THIS HAD SINCE BEEN RPLCD. *TR

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1995 OLDSMOBILE AURORA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR BAG LIGHT BLINKS ON AND OFF ON THE DASHBOARD AND THE WARNING CHIME SOUNDS. THE BUTTON MUST BE PRESSED IN ORDER FOR THE AIR BAG LIGHT TO DIM. SHE ALSO STATED THAT THE HORN HAS COMPLETELY FAILED. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN TAKEN TO A DEALER FOR INSPECTION OR REPAIR. WHILE DRIVING SMELLED OF STRONG GAS FUMES IN/OUT. FUEL WAS LEAKING INTO THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. REPLACED THE FUEL PUMP. *BF THE CONSUMER REQUESTED REIMURSEMENT.THE DRIVER DOOR LOCK DID NOT LOCK AUTOMATICALLY UNLOCK THE DOOR, THE FUEL PUMP LOST PRESSURE, THE SERPINTINE BELT CRACKED, AND THERE WAS EXTENDED CRANKING WHEN RESTARTING THE VEHICLE WARM. MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON WHEN I WAS ON THE FREE WAY WHEN ALL OF SUDDEN AS I SLOWED DOWN MY CAR LOST POWER AND CONTROL. I SKID ACROSS THE FREEWAY AND ALMOST GOT KILLED. IT STARTED BACK UP TEN MIN LATER AND TOOK IT TO SHOP THEY SAID CODE WAS INPUT SPEED SENSOR AND EGR VALVE. COST 2000$ FOR REPAIR PLUS LABOR. *AK

THE CONSUMER DROVE THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION. THE MECHANIC INFORMED THE DRIVER THAT THE FUEL RAIL NEEDED REPLACEMENT. THE DRIVER INFORMED THE MECHANIC THIS PROBLEM HAS OCCURRED MORE THAN ONCE AND HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED. THE MECHANIC ALSO INFORMED THE CONSUMER THAT THIS VEHICLE WAS NOT PART OF A RECALL. THE HARNESS WIRES, AND STARTER HAVE BEEN DESTROYED. THE MANUFACTURER HAS BEEN CONTACTED, AND AN OFFER TO BUY THE VEHICLE BACK WAS MADE. COMPANY ADVERTISERS CAR WILL NOT NEED TUNEUP UNTIL 100,000 MILES, I HAVE HAD THE CAR FOR ONLY 60K MILES AND HAVE HAD TO HAVE IT TUNED UP TWICE AT $600+ A POP. AT THAT POINT CAR WAS STALLING NOT DELIVERING THE POWER THAT IT USUALLY DOES.*AK
