The back up camera constantly fails to turn on. It appears to be a known defect of the car. Service centers seem to have no fix for the issue.

ever since I bought the vehicle, I would often get an alert when putting into reverse that the rear reverse camera "Camera is Temporarily Unavailable". I did have the recall linked to this issue executed on the car. While the issue occurs less, it still does occur.

Even after a recent recall update. I get an error that my rear camera is unavailable very often.

Despite the update put out by Polestar, the camera still shows as unavailable when reversing about 50% of the time. Additionally, when it does work, it frequently freezes or doesn't show a live feed.

The reverse camera frequently cuts out and a screen appears that says camera unavailable. Rear visibility through the rear window is bad, without backup camera, its nearly impossible to see when reversing- especially little children. This is a known issue with the vehicle.
