AFTER TAKING MY 2002 PONTIAC MONTANA THROUGH A CAR WASH THE ABS LIGHT CAME ON. I STOPPED THE VAN AND TURNED IT OFF TO LOOK UNDER TO SEE IF ANYTHING FELL OFF. WHEN I TURNED THE VAN BACK ON THE LIGHT WAS OFF SO I DROVE DOWN THE ROAD. WHEN I APPLIED THE BRAKES THE VAN SHOOK AND WOULD NOT STOP. EVER SINCE THE ABS LIGHT HAS STAYED ON. *JB

DT: ABS. WHILE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY WITH THE CRUISE CONTROL ON THE CAR STARTED TO SLOW DOWN WITHOUT WARNING. THE ABS LIGHT WAS ON. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO DEALER AND MECHANIC SAID THE SENSOR AND ROD THAT ENGAGES THE ANTILOCK BRAKES HAD CORRODED. THIS IS NOT COVERED UNDER CONSUMER'S WARRANTY. THE ESTIMATED COST IS OVER $225.00. THIS HAS NOT BEEN FIXED YET AND CONSUMER HAS NO ANTILOCK BRAKES JUST REGULAR BRAKES. *TT UPDATED 11/16/2005 - *NM

WHEN THE GROUND WAS WET THE VEHICLES ABS BRAKES ACTIVATED WHEN THEY WERE NOT NEEDED. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. *NM
CONSUMER NOTICED WHILE TRAVELING AT ANY SPEED AND WHEN DEPRESSING THE BRAKES PEDAL WOULD TRAVEL TO FLOORBOARD. *AK
REAR DRIVER\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'S SIDE DOOR WAS MISALIGNED ABS SENSOR WAS DEFECTIVE AND ALSO DISABLE MY AWD SYTSTEM TWO DAYS AFTER GETTING THE ABS SENSOR FIXED MY RIGHT FRONT WHEEL BEARING WENT OUT AND HAD TO WAIT 3 DAYS JUST TO GET TAHT FIXED.

PROBLEM WITH THE HEAD GASKET DURING NORMAL DRIVING CONDITION STARTING BY OVER HEATING LOOK LIKE A THERMOSTAT PROBLEM BUT IS NOT. HEAD GASKET FAIL AND GAS FROM THE CYLINDERS ESCAPE TO THE BLOCK OF THE ENGINE CAUSING TO OVER HEAT AND DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED THE ABS BRAKE LIGHT AND THE 4 WHEEL DRIVE LIGHT ILLUMINATED. CONSUMER STATED THAT AS A RESULT THE VEHICLE WAS STUCK IN THE SNOW. *NLM WHEN THE ABS IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY, THE VEHICLE WILL NOT BRAKE SAFELY, AND THE FOUR/ALL WHEEL DRIVE WILL NOT WORK. THE VEHICLE WILL NOT HAVE THE TRACTION TO GO UP A HILL. ( ABS AND ALL WHEEL DRIVE WOULD FAIL AT ANY TIME) SCC

WHILE DRIVING ON WET PAVEMENT CONSUMER STEPPED ON BRAKES AND THERE WAS NO RESPONSE FOR AT LEAST 10 SECONDS. CONSUMER HAD TO CONSTANTLY PRESS BRAKE PEDAL TO GET VEHICLE TO SLOW DOWN. *AK CONSUMER ADDS DEALERSHIP AND MANUFACTURER FOUND NOTHING WRONG. *TT
