THE IGNITION COIL WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, IMMEDIATELY AFTER LEAVING THE DEALER THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE DEALER WAS CONTACTED AND ADVISED HIM TO BRING THE VEHICLE BACK. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 66,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.

NO ACCIDENT; THIRD TIME IN DRIVE WAY. TOOK CAR TO DEALER AFTER FIRST INCIDENT - NOTHING SHOWED ON CAR COMPUTER SO NOTHING WAS DONE; AFTER SECOND AND THIRD INCIDENT I TOOK CAR TO DEALER AND IS NOW REPLACING THE SIX COILS (?) 1) THE VISIT WORKSHOP LIGHT APPEARED ON MY NEW 2005 PORSCHE 911 CARRERA S. 2) ON NOVEMBER 30, 2004 THE VEHICLE WAS RUNNING FINE WITH THE WORKSHOP LIGHT ON. THE VEHICLE THEN SUDDENLY LOST ENGINE POWER AT 65 MPH DURRING ACCELERATION ON THE NJ TURNPIKE. THE LOSS OF ENGINE POWER CAUSED SEVERAL TRACTOR-TRAILERS TO NEARLY COLIDE WITH MY VEHICLE, AND WITH OTHERS, WHILE I PROCEEDED TWORDS THE SHOLDER AREA. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN ABLE TO RUN ENOUGH ON THE SHOLDER AT 15 TO 30 MPH TO A SAFE EXIT OFF THE TURNPIKE. 3) THE VEHICLE IS AT THE RAY CATENA PORSCHE SERVICE AREA IN EDISON NEW JERSEY, AND IT HAS NOT BEEN LOOKED AT, TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE.*AK
