I was taking my family out to dinner when all of a sudden I kept hearing a rattle and something smacking on the bottom of my truck. I had people flashing their lights at me, so I pulled over into the nearest gas station and got underneath. To my surprise, the fuel tank was halfway hanging with the front strap. I looked where it goes and it's all corroded on the frame. I ratchet strapped it up in the meantime and turned back around and carefully drove home. I'm not sure how to go about my safety being at risk, I just know that a fuel tank falling/getting damaged because the OEM bracket strap on the frame corroding out is not something to take ever so lightly. Who knows what could of happened. The problem I guess is a big issue with 4th Gen RAM's all over the internet, so bad to the point that it went from a 3 year extended warranty until it was changed to a 12 year unlimited mile fix for a salt state such as where I'm located (MI). I have not had it inspected, due to if I have to drive on it, it's either going to get fixed or is already fixed. There were also no lights or indications besides hearing the noise and getting underneath for an inspection.
I have been waiting for brake and traction control components since April 2025, from the Chysler corporation. Latest e-mail states maybe parts in November. I have received these notifications since i initiated a complaint in September. Reply I receive: " Raw material/component supply shortage with supplier." This truck is not safe to drive, it is currently parked at the dealership waiting for parts.
In writing complaint against FCA for not fairness for some VINs with Ecodiesel doesn’t include W68. Following with recall W58 vs W68, my VIN was picked for W58, but never pick for W68 because my VIN is not included. Just complete service for crankshaft throttle failure and spent $2000 for this. I am very disappointed that crankshaft failure recalled do not cover because W68 was not included. I think those W58 for computer update failed to prevent break down due to loose magnetic issue. My VIN is suppose to add recall for W68 because FCA missed this. W58 failed to cover the damages with crankshaft which is mean computer doesn’t solve the problem.
The Starter of the truck seems to have "shorted" and started an electrical fire that burnt the wiring harness leading up to the battery including part of the battery cover. Drove truck on 100 mile trip. Arrived, parked. 2 days later went out to truck to drive home. Turned key, check engine light came on. Service electronic throttle control light came on. Opened hood, smelled burned smell. discovered battery cover and harnessed burned. Disconnected and removed battery. Had truck towed 100miles home. Went to mechanic who traced the burn down to the starter. He replaced the starter and showed me where the fire started. FYI I called the service manager at Berthod Ram in Glenwood Springs Colorado to ask if they would like to see the Starter, left message. THEY DID NOT REPLY.
Courtesy jeep dodge ram on Adamo dr in Florida does not have parts for recalls. They say they are forever back ordered. the ABS Control module which THEY advised is recalled on this vehicle but WILL FORVER BE OUT OF STOCK, so what I’m going to ride around with no ABS? Very upsetting. Paid them 56k for this vehicle originally and they can’t honor recalls. They tell you, just buy a new vehicle. Seems fishy.
Loss of power steering and simultaneous loss of speedometer readings. If one is down, so is the other. It happens mostly on start (intermittent), but has been known to happen while driving. First time was July 4, then it has happened at least 5 times since.
I can be driving down the road and the driver seat belt will unhook by its self . An I was pulling a trailer and the tailgate must of came open and I didn’t notice and the trailer jack dented my tailgate.

Flooded cab resulting from cab leak from 3rd brake light has been fixed & mold remediation twice, while under warranty. Leak has begun again, along with the growth of dangerous mold that results under the back seats.
Antilock Brake System module has failed, causing the light on the dashboard, along with the traction control light, to stay on. This covers up any braking issues, as I am forced to drive with this light on; as Ram is not selling the ABS module, saying they are under "Engineering evaluation". The problem with my truck cannot be fixed at this time & I am forced to drive an unsafe vehicle. Reported to Ram, but no action taken to recall.
When driving the vehicle at 35 mph the vehicle jerks locks the wheels up and the vehicle revs up for a few seconds before returning to normal operational rpms. My vehicle has did this numerous times. Took it to dealership and been there for 2 months and said it was fixed the next day the vehicle did the same thing. Been an on-going issue for a year
Was driving to store got to store came out vehicle won't start just keeps turning over. From others that have the same vehicle ecodiesel I'm told it's the tone wheel/crankshaft position. And that the cheap plastic housing chips which causes the no start. Also recall for high pressure fuel pump. And the closest dealership to me can't get my vehicle in for over a month and won't provide a loaner vehicle. I'm well over 2 hours from any other dealership. I bought this vehicle from a dodge ram dealership and was told "NO RECALLS PRESENT " they even had me sign a paper that stated that and gave me a carfax that so no recalls and no recalls ever. But turns out there are 18 recalls for this vehicle. Bought thus vehicle November 2023. So now this vehicle is sitting in my driveway not running and can't get it fixed because the closest dealership can't because they have 1 ONE technician, and no other dealership will tow it to get fix free of charge. All of the symptoms are related to both recalls. High pressure fuel pump, and tone wheel /crankshaft position. Lastly a LOT of people are having to replace the intake manifold regardless of milage for this type of motor.
Took my 2015 ram to the dealer because of ABS, TRACTION and BREAK light was on the dash. They said my ABS CONTROL MODUAL was bad and needs to be replace. Part is back order and can't find the part no ware!!!!!!! WHEN WILL THE PART BE AVAILABLE?
Upon startup the vehicle routinely fails to load the infotainment/center console. This failure prevents the operator from seeing the rear view camera. Nothing in the console comes online for several minutes and other times it loads just fine. It has occured on my truck more than 50 different times.
My truck has been at Dodge in fort Pierce Florida for recall number z46 and y63 for 8 months I have went over and above and beyond to call and try to get it switched over they're saying it's registered in Canada I'm getting no help they're acting like it's my fault they're not offering me a rental car or a loaner car I've lost my job I just need help getting something done maybe then purchasing it back I filed case numbers with no response I need help please
The engine seems to have failed. Yes it is available for inspection upon request. My safety was put at risk as the vehicle lost all power on the highway. Yes, the problem has been confirmed by a dealer or independent service center. Yes, the vehicle has been inspected, but due diligence needs to be done on the part of the inspectors to get at the root cause of the failure. No, that was one of the most alarming and scary parts is that there were no symptoms, warning messages, etc.
Gas tank strap went through the frame. Gas tank fell off while driving down roadway. Dodge will not repair since the vehicle had come from Canada. No warning lights came on.
The back up camera may or may not work. yes 2 It would be easy to back over a small child. 3 The problem was reported to a dealer and was told it could be a bad wire or a faulty radio system that would be expensive to repair.4 no 5 It began to mostly not work a couple years back
Good morning! I own a 2015 Ram Ecodiesel. I am not the original owner. I am in California. The truck is not under warranty and the FCC will not help me nor the dealership. A few months ago I was towing my horses in a trailer and the truck started to lose acceleration, started to over heat, black smoke was coming out from under the hood, and it almost lost power going up a hill. It was very scary and it almost caused an accident and my horses were terrified. I barely got it to drive up the hill and pulled over to safe place. The truck was smoking black smoke, smelled terrible, and we felt in danger. I took truck to dealership in San Luis Obispo CA. It was diagnosed with a bad intake manifold, bad fuel lines, bad egr cooler. The estimate in costs was about $7,000. Luckily my husband is a mechanic and he performed the repairs. Than the truck was back up and running, no more black smoke, and it sounded better. On [XXX] I was hauling my horses and small only 2 horse trailer, same trailer, it’s small, not oversized or too big for my truck….. the truck started to lag, lose acceleration and drive slow, then it started a knocking sound….. then a high pitch noise….. this was terrifying as we were on a very busy freeway. I pulled over and the engine started to smoke and make horrible noises like knocking and high pitch screeches. My husband and I and our two horses were once again stranded with a broken down truck. This time on a very busy freeway, highway [XXX] in California. The truck was towed to the dealership that day. We were stranded for hours with horses and no water on side of a freeway. The truck was diagnosed by Santa maria, CA dodge ram Chrysler with a blown up engine, that must be completely replaced. The repair is $20,000 or more. This is a common issue in these trucks. This truck is dangerous and needs to be recalled and taken off the road. All of these engines are bad and they should all be bought back. They were ruined after the emissions scandal. The gas taps on my truck rusted out cause the gas tank to drop almost touching the highway. Re-call on 2014 and older trucks but none on 2015 and new with the same problem.
I HAVE A RECALL ON THIS VEHICLE OVER A YEAR AGO AND NO DEALER HAS THE PART. NOW MY PARKING SENSOR KEEPS COMING ON AND OFF. THIS NEEDS TO BE TAKEN CARE OF.
My vehicle experienced loss of power assist steering, as detailed in NHTSA Campaign Number: 16V167000 "Loss of Power Steering Assist If the vehicle experiences a loss of power steering assist, extra steering effort will be required, especially at lower speeds, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash"
I was pulling out from my street that connects to a two lane highway. From my street you can see if cars are coming from quite a distance away. There was a semi truck in the distance going east bound in the direction I needed to torn into. There was absolutely enough room for me to merge out into the east bound lane without the semi truck even being affected. I was now about a 1/4 mile down the road and the semi was still aways back. Then, my truck started to sputter and not accelerate and as this a two lane road there at this point was nowhere to pull over. The semi was now coming up quick due to loss of power in my truck. I turned on my hazards by this time he was close and had to make an evasive lane change to avoid running into the back of me. Luckily, there was no on coming traffic. This is not the first incident of my truck losing power and almost being rear-ended. I purchased the truck from a dealer in December of 2022. They have not been of any help, and frankly they are not willing to do a thing to help. I'm at a loss and have no idea what to do. I feel I was sold a truck with a potentially dangerous recall that can cause a major car accident which could result in death. There is no resolve for this recall at this time. This recall not only puts my family at risk, it endangers the general public.

This is the 2nd Dodge pickup with an exhaust manifold defect. My 2004 Dodge Ram and now my 2015. This is a wide spread well known defect that should be corrected.
With only 68,000 miles on the vehicle the engine has experienced a cam failure causing a fire and explosion hazard. Gas backfires through the carb, engine shakes really bad at idle, and engine misses while applying power to the engine going down the road at all speeds. Ten thousands of hemi engine failures reported on online forums. Also had to replace both exhaust manifolds around 50k miles. The bolts cracked and gave way. Ten of thousands of this issue reported online forums as well. Truck was bought as a demo with 2k on the vehicle at Edie Chrysler Bismarck ND.

On 3/31/2023, [XXX](me) was traveling on New Jersey Turnpike. Tickets are issued at the entrance terminal (for CASH commerce) and drivers pay tollbooth attendants at exits by either CASH or EZ PASS (transponders). At Exit 2, on New Jersey Turnpike, a Tollbooth Attendant was absent, 3/31/2023 at 0434. The fee from the entrance terminal, on the New Jersey Turnpike, to exit 2, on the New Jersey Turnpike, is $2.05. I stopped and waited for tollbooth attendant at exit 2 on NJTP. I proceeded on route for my own safety and that of my own property, including a newly-purchased light utility vehicle registered in a different state other than NJ, assuming the obstruction was construction because safety cones diverted traffic in one of the 2 outgoing lanes (the EZ PASS lane, not the CASH lane). I received letter from New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTPA) headed FINAL NOTICE OF ENFORCEMENT ACTION on 5/25/2023 for $82.50. Vehicle spontaneously starts when unoccupied as in garage and continues to run. If not found while running exhaust gasses will infiltrate attached house potentially causing death. The reason for vehicle starting is a defective car-fob that starts when bumped or dropped. Dealership says it cannot be repaired. This has happened several times. Problem checked by and discussed with dealer service.
Front Tank strap holder on frame failed. The front of the tank fell down and ripped the hoses and cracked fuel filter cover. The vehicle was running and spilled several gallons of fuel on the ground.
The issue described in NHTSA campaign 18V160000 is still present in model years later than currently covered. My 2015 truck has this same issue caused by the same defect. Noise was noticed while on daily commute on interstate, traveling approx 65 MPH. Upon inspection T slot bracket for the front fuel strap was corroded causing the fuel tank strap to fall out. Fuel tank was hanging by back strap only, did not contact the roadway, and the loose strap was making contact with the driveshaft.
The speed control system was working recently then stopped for no reason. It does NOT register info on the dashboard or engage. Completely out. Due to the recalls for so many others, this needs to be added to your list.
exhaust flange bolts break not rusty. causes to melt and burn def line and injector engine will not restart after 200 miles
Truck caught on fire
The exhaust manifold screws are broken causing damage to the entire manifold. This is a common issue with Rams known as the “hemi tick” which results in the lifters ticking do to a a design flaw that doesn’t allow oil to properly lubricate the reservoir.
A warrantied part that was previously tried to fix my guess is prior to warranty due to the emissions lying from FCA and resulting ecodiesel settlement. So I purchased without that information being disclosed to me and know they are refusing a warrantied repair on the emissions component. Even thought the settlement covers said part.

THERE SEEMS TO BE WATER COMING INTO THE CAB SOMEWHERE. I GRABBED THE ASSIST HANDLE WHEN GETTING INTO THE TRUCK, AND WATER STARTED COMING OUT OF THE SCREW COVERS. I DON'T KNOW WHERE THIS WATER IS COMING FROM, BUT I AM SURE IT CAN TRAVEL DOWN INTO MY DASH AND POTENTIALLY CAUSE RUSTING AND ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS INSIDE MY TRUCK WHERE IT SHOULD NOT BE EXPOSED TO WATER.

AFTER FUELING, THE GAS NOZZLE CONSTANTLY GETS STUCK IN THE TRUCKS FILL TUBE. IT TAKES SEVERAL MINUTES TO PRY IT OUT. THIS IS A VERY COMMON ISSUE WITH DODGE 1500 TRUCKS.
THE TRUCK WAS STARTED AND MOVED FROM ONE SIDE OF THE DRIVEWAY AND MOVED TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE DRIVEWAY. THE TRUCK WAS TURNED OFF AFTER BEING MOVED. ABOUT 20 MINUTES AFTER THE TRUCK WAS TURNED OFF IT WAS FOUND ON FIRE. THE TRUCK WAS COMPLETELY ENGULFED AT THAT POINT AND HAD ALSO CAUGHT THE FRONT OF THE GARAGE ON FIRE. THE TRUCK WAS A COMPLETE LOSS AND THE FRONT OF THE GARAGE HAD SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE.*DT*JB

WATER IS LEAKING INTO THE LEFT HEADLIGHT HOUSING WHICH CAUSES THE TURN SIGNAL TO MALFUNCTION, SIGNIFICANT FOGGING AND CONDENSATION IN THE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY UNIT WHICH REDUCES VISIBILITY FROM THE HEADLIGHT AND CAUSES AN ERROR MESSAGE. THIS ISSUE IS CONSTANT SINCE IT BEGAN AND HAS NOT IMPROVED. THIS IS VERY UNSAFE AND IS A DEFECT IN THE DESIGN OR MANUFACTURE OF THE VEHICLE.
KEY FOB WILL NOT START ENGINE. IF YOU UNLOCK DOORS & BEGIN PROCESS AGAIN, IT USUALLY STARTS. FOB BATTERY HAS BEEN CHANGED SO WEAK BATTERY NOT LIKELY THE PROBLEM. PROBLEM BEGIN BEGAN ABOUT A MONTH AGO.HAPPENS A COUPLE TIMES EA WEEK.

AFTER HAVING THE REQUIRED FCA EMISSION UPDATE, THE TRUCK WILL HESITATE WHEN PULLING INTO TRAFFIC OR ATTEMPTING TO CLIMB A HILL UNTIL FULLY WARMED UP. PRESSING THE ACCELERATOR TO THE FLOOR DOES NOTHING FOR SEVERAL SECONDS, THEN THE TRUCK ACCELERATES DRAMATICALLY. THIS NOTHING/EVERYTHING, IS DANGEROUS TO THE DRIVER AND PASSENGERS OF THE TRUCK AS THEY MAY BE STRUCK BY ANOTHER VEHICLE THAT THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO GET OUT OF THE WAY OF. THE TRUCK IS DANGEROUS TO OTHER HIGHWAY USERS AS THE NOTHING/EVERYTHING THROTTLE MAY CAUSE A LOSS OF CONTROL OF THE TRUCK. THIS IS A DRASTIC CHANGE IN THE DRIVING CHARACTERISTICS OF THIS TRUCK FROM THE PRIOR TO FLASH SETTINGS. APPARENTLY DEALERS CAN NOT RETURN THE VEHICLE TO IT'S PREVIOUS SETTINGS, MAKING THEM LIABLE FOR THE SAFETY OF THE TRUCKS DRIVER AND PASSENGERS. THE EPA LAWSUIT AGAINST FCA HAS PUT NUMEROUS HIGHWAY USERS AR RISK!

81,000 MILES ON A ECO DIESEL. ON TRIP. CRUISE SET AT 75MPH ON I20 BASICALLY GOING STRAIGHT. A WARNING LIGHT CAME ON, SOMETHING LIKE 'ELECTRONIC THROTTLE.' IT DID NOT STAY ON LONG. IMMEDIATELY STARTED LOOSING POWER BUT ENGINE STILL RUNNING BUT NOT RESPONSIVE. FINALLY CAME TO A HALT AND ENGINE DIED. ELECTRICITY STILL WORKING AS PUT ON EMERGENCY FLASHERS. STARTED CALLING RAM ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE. MY WIFE SAID SHE SMELLED SOMETHING. ABOUT MAYBE 30 SECONDS LATER WE COULD SMELL SOMETHING ON FIRE. SECONDS LATER SMOKE BILLOWING FROM BENEATH HOOD. MY DAD HAD THE APPROVED EMISSIONS MODIFICATION (AEM) THAT WAS REQUIRED TO UPDATE THE EMISSIONS CONTROL SOFTWARE ON MAY 28, 2019. AFTER THE AEM COMPLETED BY THE DEALER, THE TRUCK HAD THROTTLE ISSUES. WHEN MY DAD PUSHED THE PEDAL TO ACCELERATE, THE VEHICLE WOULD SIGNIFICANTLY LAG TO THE POINT OF NOT ACCELERATING. THIS IS A **CONTINUOUS** AND DANGEROUS CONDITION THAT WAS CAUSED BY THE FACTORY SUPPLIED SOFTWARE UPDATE. MY DAD MADE A COMPLAINT TO THE DEALER THREE HOURS AFTER THE AEM WAS UPDATED ON 5/28/19. I CALLED A FEW DEALERSHIPS IN THE AREA (CENTRAL MICHIGAN), BUT NONE OF THEM WERE GOING TO BE ABLE TO LOOK AT IT FOR AT LEAST 4-5 DAYS. AFTER DRIVING ABOUT 50 MILES OR SO TOWARD HOME, THE DISPLAY CHANGED TO 'SERVICE DEF SYSTEM ' ENGINE WILL NOT RESTART IN 200 MILES). I WAS ADVISED BY THE DEALER THAT IT WOULD CONTINUE RUNNING AS LONG AS I DID NOT SHUT IT OFF, SO I DROVE IT BACK TO MY HOMETOWN AND DIRECTLY TO THE DEALER FOR SERVICE. IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE ISSUE WAS THAT THE 3 BOLTS BETWEEN THE DIESEL PARTICULAR FILTER AND THE SCR HAD SHEARED. WITH EXHAUST COMING OUT OF THAT FLANGE, THE DEF INJECTOR, DEF INJECTOR CONNECTOR, AND THE DEF SUPPLY LINE MELTED. REGRETTABLY, I DON'T KNOW IF THEY MELTED RESULTING IN THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMING ON OR IF THEY MELTED AFTER THE LIGHT CAME ON, BUT I WOULD SUSPECT THAT THEY WERE ALREADY DAMAGED PRIOR TO THE LIGHT COMING ON AND IT WAS THE DAMAGE THAT CAUSE THE LIGHT TO COME ON. THE LOCAL DEALER (LEMAN RAM) TOLD ME THAT IT WAS MY FAULT THAT THOSE ITEMS MELTED BECAUSE I DROVE THE TRUCK WITH THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON. I ASKED WHAT I SHOULD HAVE DONE SINCE I WAS NOWHERE NEAR HOME AND COULD NOT GET MY VEHICLE SERVICED, BUT THEY DIDN'T HAVE AN ANSWER. MY CONTENTION IS THAT THE BOLTS BETWEEN THE PARTICULATE FILTER AND THE SCR SHOULD NOT HAVE SHEARED. I FEEL LIKE THIS IS A DEFECT / DESIGN FLAW AND EITHER WAY, THIS IS WHAT LED TO THE DAMAGE TO THE DEF SYSTEM. MY TRUCK KEEPS LOOKING UP THE STEERING WHEEL. EVERY MORNING WHEN I FIRST START THE TRUCK I HAVE TO LET IT SIT FOR ABOUT 45 MINUTES. AFTER THE 45 MINUTES I TURN THE IGNITION OFF AND ON AGAIN AND THE STEERING WILL UNLOCK. ITS UNLOCKS WHEN THE TRANSMISSION TEMP REACHES ABOUT 190 DEGREES. SOMETIMES THE STEERING LOCKS WHILE I'M DRIVING. I HAVE REACHED OUT TO DOGE AND THEY SAID FOR ME TO TAKE IT TO A DEALER AND PAY FOR AN ESTIMATE THEN TO SEND IT TO THEM FOR THEM TO SEE IF THEY'LL COVER IT. MY HAVE TAKEN MY TRUCK FOR OTHER RECALLS TO PLANET DODGE IN MIAMI AND THEY'VE TOLD ME THEY'VE HAD PLENTY OF TRUCKS LIKE MINE COME IN WITH THE SAME ISSUE. FOUND WHAT LOOKED LIKE A MELTED QUARTER SIZED BOILING SPOT ON THE MANIFOLD? I BELIEVE. CHECKED THAT ENGINE LIGHT WAS SOLID, AND ON JUNE 19TH WAS TOLD IF LIGHT IS SOLID, IT'S SAFE TO DRIVE, IF IT'S BLINKING SHUT OFF IMEDIATELY. IT WAS SOLID. VACATION'S OVER, DRIVE BACK TO VEGAS AT ABOUT 40-50MPH (TRUCK WOULDN'T GO ANY FASTER) ON BLINKERS THE WHOLE WAY WITH MY FIANCEE IN THE PASSANGER SEAT, AND 3 YEAR OLD SON IN THE BACK SEAT. AN HOUR OURSIDE OF VEGAS, TRUCK WAS THROWING FLAME BALLS AND SPARKS OUT THE REAR, IMMEDIATELY PULLED OFF TO THE DESERT, AND EVACUATED MY SON AND FIANCEE. GRABBED RED BULLS AND GREEN TEAS TO DOUSE THE FIRE. GOT THE FIRE OUT AFTER SEVERAL MINUTES. IF I DIDN'T NOTICE THE SPARKS OR FIREBALLS, OR IF A FUEL LINE CAUGHT ON FIRE, WE COULD HAVE DIED. THE ENTIRE UNDERSIDE OF THE TRUCK WAS BURNED AND THE DPF ON THE EXHAUST WAS GLOWING BRIGHT RED STILL. I SPOKE WITH AN ORIGINAL ENGINEER ON THE TRUCK, THROUGH A FACEBOOK GROUP FOR THESE TRUCKS, WHICH HE STATES 2 WEEKS PRIOR WHEN I TOOK THE TRUCK IN, THE EGR MUST HAVE STARTED MALFUNCTIONING, AND THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE BRUSHED ME OFF. WHICH LED TO IT STICKING OPEN, AND BLOWING A HOLE IN THE INTAKE MANIFOLD (THE BURNING PLASTIC SMELL) WHEN I WAS DRIVING BACK TO SAFETY (IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE), A REGENERATION OCCURED CAUSING THE DPF TO FILL UP, AND ESSENTIALLY EXPLODE, AND CATCH THE TRUCK ON FIRE. I BEGAN TO WALK TO THE REAR OF MY TRUCK, WHERE A FRIEND WAS STANDING NEAR MY FLATBED TRAILER. THE PLAN WAS TO HOOK THE TRAILER UP TO THE TRUCK. AS I WAS WALKING TO THE REAR OF MY TRUCK, I OBSERVED THE TRUCK ROLLING BACKWARDS. I IMMEDIATELY TURNED AROUND AND BEGAN TO RUN BACK TO THE TRUCK. AS THE TRUCK WAS ROLLING, THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR CAUGHT THE TIRE OF THE VEHICLE PARKED NEXT TO IT. AS I JUMP BACK IN THE TRUCK I CHECK THE SHIFT INDICATOR AND OBSERVED IT TO BE IN PARK WHILE ROLLING. THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR WAS THEN PUSHED BACKWARDS AND INTO THE DRIVER SIDE FRONT FENDER. I THEN STEPPED ON THE BRAKE AND THE VEHICLE CAME TO A STOP.

I NOTICED THE LEAK MORE WHILE THE TRUCK WAS STATIONARY DURING HEAVY RAINS/SNOW. LEAK WAS NOTICED IN OR AROUND 11/2015 AND CONFIRMED IN 1/2016 AND IS NOW ASSUMINGLY REPAIRED. RUST IS A MAJOR CONCERN ALONG WITH MOISTURE THAT MAY HAVE AN AFFECT ON ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS OF THE VEHICLE.

THIS LEADS TO THE TRUCK OVERHEATING VERY QUICKLY AT TIMES. POSSIBILITY OF COOLANT IN THE ENGINE BLACK AS WELL, THEY CANNOT PROVE OTHERWISE WHICH COULD LEAD TO CRACKED ENGINE BLOCKS. MY TRUCK HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP FOR APPROX 75 DAYS AND THEY HAVE REPLACED NUMEROUS PARTS WITH NO REMEDY TO THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CONTINUING TO COME ON. VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION WHEN LIGHT ORIGINALLY CAME ON. IT'S NOW BEEN TO TWO DIFFERENT DEALERS AND I HAVE RESEARCHED AND DISCOVERED HUNDREDS OF OTHER CASES. THIS IS A FAULTY OIL COOLER IN 2014-2017 MODELS OF THE DODGE ECO DIESEL 1500 PICKUP. FCA PUT ME OFF FOR WEEKS SAYING THEY WOULD CALL ME AND NEVER WOULD, THE DEALERSHIP REFUSED TO GIVE ME PAPERWORK DETAILING THE PROCESS AND FCA COULD NOT REACH THE DEALERSHIP FOR WEEKS. THIS TRUCK HAS AN ISSUE THAT CHRYSLER NEEDS TO ADDRESS.

WE ONLY GET DIESEL FUMES BEING BLOWN IN VIA CLIMATE CONTROL. IF WE TURN OFF CLIMATE CONTROL, THE FUMES STOP. THEY ARE STRONG ENOUGH AT TIMES TO CAUSE EYES TO TEAR UP. THEY HAVE HAPPENED WHEN WE WERE IN EMPTY REMOTE PARKING LOTS - SO NO OTHER VEHICLES AROUND. THEY HAVE HAPPENED WITH HEAT / OR COOL SYSTEM ON. WE DO NOT GET NOTICEABLE FUMES IN THE CABIN WHEN TRAVELING AT FASTER/HIGHWAY SPEEDS. THIS HAS HAPPENED MANY TIMES, HOWEVER THIS COMPLAINT FORM ONLY ALLOWS PICKING ONE DATE.

THE REAR BUMPER OF THE VEHICLE COLLIDED WITH A BLOCK COLUMN CAUSING CEMENT BLOCKS TO BE KNOCKED OUT OF POSITION. THERE WERE NO INJURIES ON THE SCENE. DRIVER LEFT THE VEHICLE IN PARK, TURNED OFF THE IGNITION TO THE VEHICLE, EXITED THE VEHICLE AND LCOKED IT WITH THE KEYS IN HIS POCKET. HE THEN ENTERED A STORE.AND APPROX. 15 MINUTES LATER, SECURITY LOCATED HIM AND INFORMED HIM THAT THE VEHICLE HAD BACKED INTO THEIR BUILDING JUMPING A CURB AND ACCELERATING. DRIVER ADVISED THAT HE HAD THE KEY FOB IN HIS POCKET TEH WHOLE TIME. HE STATED THE VEHICLE COULD NOT BE CRANKED AND WOULD AUTOMATICALLY SHUT OFF IF HE WAS A CERTAIN DISTANCE AWAY FROM THE VEHICLE. HE ADVISED HE DID NOT KNOW HOW THE VEHICLE CRANKED, TRAVELED IN REVERSE AND THEN COLLIDED WITH THE BUILDING. HE ADVISED THAT SOMEONE TOLD HIM THE VEHICLE'S REVERSE LIGHTS WERE ACTIVATED WHEN THEY OBSERVED THE CRASH. SECURITY VIDEO WAS OBTAINED AND A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. LATER HE LEARNED THAT THERE HAD BEEN SIMILAR INCIDENTS FOR SIMILAR VEHICLES AND CONTACTED CHRYSLER. ON MARCH 17, 2016 OWNER OF THE VEHICLE RECEIVED A LETTER FROM FIAT CHRYSLER AUTOMOBILES (FCA US LLC) STATING THAT THE COMPANY DOES NOT BELIEVE THAT IT WAS DUE TO A MANUFACTURING RESPONSIBILITY. HOWEVER, UPON FURTHER RESEARCH, INFORMATION SHOWS THAT A RECALL WAS ISSUED FOR WHAT MAY HAVE CAUSED THE PROBLEM. ON AUGUST 14, 2015 CHRYSELR ISSUED A RECALL FOR RADIO SOFTWARE SECURITY VULNERABILITES. OWNER DOES NOT KNOW IF THE DEALERSHIP HAD SERVICED THE VEHICLE FOR THE ISSUE.

THE RAM 2015 PASSENGER SIDE TOW PACKAGE LARGE MIRROR OPTICS ARE POORLY DESIGNED FOR VIEWING TRAFFIC ON THE REAR AND SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE CURRENT LARGE PASSENGER SIDE MIRROR IS MAGNIFIED,AND PROVIDES POOR VIEWING COVERAGE OF OTHER VEHICLES. IT CREATES TUNNEL VISION WITH MANY BLIND SPOTS. IT IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO ADJUST THE MIRRORS TO SEE TRAFFIC AROUND THE VEHICLE. I HAVE TRIED TO GET THE MANUFACTURER TO REPLACE THE MIRROR BUT THEY JUST GIVE ME THE RUN AROUND, AND REFUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE THIS SAFETY CONCERN. THE STANDARD MIRROR FOR 2015 DODGE RAMS IS PARABOLIC WITH THE WORDS PRINTED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE MIRROR "OBJECTS IN MIRROR ARE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR" IS OK . THIS IS SAME AS MY LAST PICKUP A 2005 RAM 1500 AND THE MIRRORS ARE GREAT, BUT MY NEW 2015 RAM PASSENGER SIDE MIRRORS INCLUDED IN THE TOW PACKAGE ARE VERY UNSAFE TO OPERATE. I WOULD THINK PAYING AN EXTRA $410 FOR THE TOW PACKAGE MIRRORS OPTION WOULD IMPROVE THE VIEW, BUT JUST THE OPPOSITE IS TRUE THE MIRRORS ARE UNSAFE. ANY DAY I USE MY NEW RAM 2015, GIVEN THE HIGH AND LIMITED VIEW OF FULL A SIZE PICKUP I RISK GETTING INTO AN ACCIDENT. THE DEALER PERSONNEL HAVE DRIVEN THE TRUCK AND AGREE IT IS UNSAFE BUT CAN'T GET THE MANUFACTURER TO DO ANYTHING. I HAVE OPENED A CASE NUMBER WITH CHRYSLER, #28409386, ADMINISTRATOR "ANGEL", AND TRIED TO GET THEM TO TAKE ACTION BEFORE SOMEONE IS KILLED. AT THE DEALER RECENTLY I NOTICED 3 TRUCKS IN THE BODY SHOP WITH THE SAME TOW PACKAGE MIRRORS ALL WRECKED ON THE PASSENGER SIDE BY RUNNING INTO VEHICLES. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND A RECALL WHERE CHRYSLER REPLACES THE TOW PACKAGE MIRROR WITH A STANDARD PARABOLIC MIRROR, USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN VEHICLES. CHRYSLER DOES NOT HAVE THE MIRROR AVAILABLE, NOR AFTER MARKET PARTS, WITHOUT CHANGING OUT THE WHOLE ASSEMBLY AT A COST OF $1,100 - WHICH IS RIDICULOUS.

MY RAM TRUCK SHIFTED FROM DRIVE TO PARK WHILE TRAVELING AT 40 MPH. WHEN THE TRUCK SHIFTED TO PARK IT SLID TO A STOP AFTER IT VEERED RIGHT AND WENT UP ON THE SIDE WALK MISSING A PEDESTRIAN AND PHONE POLL. CHRYSLER, MILE ONE, AND HALL CHRYSLER JEEP IN VIRGINIA BEACH ARE DOING NOTHING TO HELP ME OUT OF THIS TRUCK. THE TRUCK IS ONLY 19 DAYS OLD WITH 1000 MILES ON IT AT THE TIME OF INCIDENT. THE TRUCK WAS MOST CERTAINLY MOVING AND I WAS LUCKY I HAD JUST LEFT THE INTERSTATE. I'VE ASKED TO HAVE THE TRUCK BOUGHT BACK SO I CAN BUY A DIFFERENT TRUCK FROM ANOTHER MANUFACTURER. THE TRUCK HAD A DAMAGED COMPUTER AND MELTED TRANSMISSION SENSOR SWITCH ONCE INSPECTED BY DODGE.

2015 DODGE RAM LARAMIE, 4X4 WITH ECO DIESEL MOTOR. AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS THE TRUCK BEGINS TO VIBRATE, 65 MPH AND GREATER. THE VIBRATION APPEARS TO ORIGINATE IN THE REAR END OF THE VEHICLE, AS SPEED INCREASES THE VIBRATION INCREASES. WHEN THE ROAD BECOMES ROUGH (I.E. POTHOLE ON I95) CONTROL BECOMES AN ISSUE DUE TO THE VIBRATION. I BROUGHT THE TRUCK BACK TO THE DEALER, AND DEALER REPLACED TIRES. PROBLEM IS STILL PERSISTENT AND SEEMS TO BE GETTING WORSE. TRUCK NOW HAS 1000 MILES ON IT AND IS BACK TO THE DEALER AGAIN FOR DIAGNOSTIC, AND REPAIR. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THE TRUCK HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO THE DEALER AND THEY ARE CURRENTLY UNSURE OF WHAT THE ISSUE MAY BE. I HAVE TAKEN VIDEO OF THE MY CHILD'S CAR SEAT IN THE BACK OF THE TRUCK SHAKING FROM THE VIBRATION AND PRESENTED IT TO THE DEALER TO HELP DIAGNOSE THE ISSUE. FAMILY DOES NOT FEEL SAFE IN THIS VEHICLE AND IF THIS PROBLEM EXISTS IN OTHER LIKE MODELS VEHICLES IT SHOULD BE ADDRESSED BY THE MANUFACTURER AS IT IS A MAJOR SAFETY CONCERN FOR CONSUMERS AND OTHER MOTORISTS.

BOUGHT A BRAND NEW 2015 DODGE RAM 1500, THE FIRST WEEK I HAD AN ISSUE WITH ONE OF THE WINDOWS NOT GOING BACK UP, ABOUT A MONTH LATER I WAS DRIVING AND THE NEW KNOB SHIFTER, WENT INTO NEUTRAL BY ITSELF WHILE I WAS DRIVING. MEANT TO TAKE IT IN, BUT HAD BEEN SO BUSY WITH WORK, THAT I WAS GOING TO WAIT UNTIL THE FIRST OIL CHANGE. I NOTED THOSE TWO ISSUES ON AN EMAIL REVIEW/SURVEY THAT DODGE HOUNDED ME TO FILL OUT. EXACTLY TWO MONTHS AFTER OWNING THE TRUCK ON JULY 28TH, THE SAME DAY I MADE MY SECOND PAYMENT, I WAS AT THE GARAGE AT WORK, LEFT THE TRUCK ON AND PUT IT IN PARK, GOT OUT OF THE CAR, CLOSED THE DOOR AND AS I WAS GETTING READY TO GO AROUND THE TRUCK TO GO INSIDE MY JOB, THE CAR STARTED TO BACK OUT BY ITSELF, I TRIED GETTING BACK INTO THE TRUCK TO STOP IT BUT UNFORTUNATELY, I FAILED, THE TRUCK ALMOST RAN ME OVER. THANKFULLY A CEMENT BEAM STOPPED THIS FROM HAPPENING.
