DTC P0336 crankcase position sensor A circuit range/performance code truck lost power for several seconds at 50mph in traffic almost causing a collision, then power returned causing fast acceleration almost lost control of vehicle. truck is now in limp mode. there is a recall for DTC P0336 is a known defective reluctor wheel problem on Ran eco-diesel trucks made between 2014-2018. I have a 2017 model which was purchased june 2018. Ram dealership says my vin is not included in recall though my model and year is.

The contact stated that the transmission was severely shuddering. The contact proceeded to drive the vehicle to the shoulder of the road and saw another large piece of metal flying, which was another part of the drive shaft that had detached from the vehicle. The contact stated that the rear wheels locked up, and the shuddering was persistent. The vehicle was driven to the shoulder of the road. The contact and the passenger, who was seated in the front passenger's seat, exited the vehicle. The passenger noticed smoke coming from the vehicle ,but there was no fire. AAA was contacted, and the vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic where a diagnostic test was performed. The contact was informed that the rear differential, rear axle, transfer case, and other unknown parts needed to be replaced. The contact referenced NHTSA Campaign Number: 17V198000 (Power Train); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The dealer was made aware of the failure. The contact was advised to contact the manufacturer to report the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and a case was filed. The contact was informed that an inspector would be inspecting the vehicle, however the contact stated that the inspection was not performed. The failure mileage was approximately 53,300.

Electrical problems with the power steering. Shifting and RPM’s transmission
The contact owns a 2017 Ram 1500. The contact stated while driving 45 MPH, the vehicle shuddered and stalled in the middle of the road. The contact stated that several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The contact attempted to pull over to the side of the road, but the gear shifter failed to shift to neutral. The tow truck operator disassembled the dashboard to shift the vehicle into neutral. The contact then towed the vehicle to the residence. The vehicle was then taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed with tone crankshaft failure. Additionally, there were 2 sensors that were damaged due to pressure sensor and battery failure. The vehicle was waiting to be repaired and the parts were ordered. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 130,000.

Front Drive-Shaft Broke in half. It was rusted on the outside.
The contact owns a 2017 Ram 1500. The contact stated the gear shift/rotary dial had seized in place. The vehicle failed to shift into park, and the key failed to release from the ignition switch. While driving, the vehicle jumped from park to reverse and then drive. The drive, reverse, park, and neutral warning lights were illuminated. While at a stop, the vehicle locked. While depressing the accelerator pedal, there was an abnormal revving sound detected. The vehicle was hesitating and was slow to accelerate. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed as an electrical failure. The dealer informed the contact that the control module was not communicating with the TCM. The dealer scheduled an appointment. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact also called Marion Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram 44 Worley Rd., Marion, NC 28752, Auto Star Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat of Waynesville (280 Hyatt Creek Rd., Waynesville, NC 28786), and Crossroads Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Henderson (120 US-158, Henderson, NC 27536). 1.The components that failed were the entire rear dif. It will be available for inspection and I will make certain that my mechanic takes photos. 2. My brakes completely locked up on me TWICE and the vehicle stalled. I was left in the middle of the road on a downward slope and on a curve, a blind spot. I was extremely fortunate that this didn't take place on the interstate and that there wasn't a tractor trailer following behind me!! 3. My mechanic verified that it was in fact the rear differential that was destroyed. The inside of the casing was "chewed up" by the gears. He called around and was able to locate a slightly used one to attempt to save me money and it was easier for him to complete the task of replacing it. 4. There are no police reports or insurance claims. 5. There were no warning lamps to alert me that anything was wrong. The only thing that took place was the truck lost power TWICE while traveling on the interstate where I was forced to stop in the break down lane. Both situations could have ended MUCH WORSE for me.

Vehicle is a 2017 RAM 3.0L ECO-DIESEL. Vehicle's electronic throttle control service light came on. Vehicle was taken to dealership for diagnostic. Safety recall 66A/NHTSA 23V-411 was performed for software. Transmission was diagnosed with a bad Tone Wheel (RAM recall X94-Warranty Extension. Applies to RAM vehicles built on or after June 13, 2014 and on or before March 26, 2018 equipped with a 3.0L Turbo Diesel Engine). My vehicle is the make, type, model, and engine specific vehicle, however; it does not meet the VIN specificity for the X94 extended warranty coverage. I would like to know why.
Rear axle pinion gear broke causing lack of motion could cause me to wreck or get hit

The vehicle then failed to accelerate upon the depression of the accelerator pedal. Due to the failure, the vehicle was initially towed to the residence and then towed to a dealer. The dealer informed the contact that the rear axle needed to be replaced. The contact disagreed with the diagnostic and had the vehicle towed back home. Upon investigation, the contact discovered NHTSA Campaign Number: 17V198000 (Power Train) which the contact linked to the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but offered no assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 100,000.

My RAM 1500 Pickup has a NHTSA recall 23V-411 that I never received that is a loss of crank shaft signal and causes engine to stall and loss of power. This happened to my vehicle while I was in the passing lane overtaking another car. It was a very dangerous situation as I had to try and navigate to the shoulder as other cars were now passing me on the right. When I did manage to get to the shoulder of a narrow two lane hi-way, my vehicle would not start. I had to call for a tow truck and wait in a very dangerous location for the tow truck to come for over an hour. I was never notified by RAM of this recall and they are also not covering the cost of the part that was involved with the recall as well. This is a very serious situation as there has already been a class action lawsuit against RAM that was successful for this same part and there are still a lot of cars out there that have not been repaired. I am going to have to pay $2500 out of pocket to fix a problem that RAM has known about for a long time and has a recall (FCA Recall 66A and 73A) for.
While driving, the truck started shuttering and as I was able to stop where I was, the D light was flashing and the truck died. It would not start, it would not let me put it in N to be able to try and get off the road.
Engine started making a ticking sound approximately around Oct 15th 2023 Called ram cares because my 2008 chrysler aspen with 180k on the same 5.7 liter engine had the same sound and a private shop replaced. Lifters. Started escalation case number [XXX] on October 25th 2023. 2017 ram went to Larry Miller dealership, Boise, ID on Oct 30, 2023. Eric service manager says technician diagnosis was warped exhaust manifold and loose bolts. This is coming with the 5.7l hemi and they have replaced over 20 this year alone and with miles as low as 30,000 miles. Engine shutoff instantly while traveling at approximately 50MPH on a highway. We were able to coast to the shoulder. There was no warning, the engine just shut off instantly while driving. It would not restart and we could not even shift out of park to move the truck off the highway shoulder. Truck was towed to my home at my expense and is not movable due to this issue.
I’m filing a complaint on the recalls already on my vehicle. Neither one of my recalls have been fixed. I keep getting told parts are not available. When ask for timeline I am ignored by the dealers. They haven't even offered at this point to by my vehicle back or give me a vehicle that works correctly. I need some kinda of solution taken care of ASAP.

The contact stated that the passenger's side exhaust manifold bolts had fractured, and the passenger's side exhaust manifold, the gasket, and the bolts were replaced by the dealer; however, the failure recurred on the driver's side exhaust manifold. Additionally, the contact stated while driving 35-65 MPH, the vehicle shuddered while depressing the accelerator pedal. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact was able to continue driving. The contact stated that the failure had been a recurring failure while driving. The vehicle was taken to several independent mechanics and transmission repair shops, where it was diagnosed that the torque converter had failed and was separating inside the casing. The dealer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that he would be charged a fee for the repair. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The contact was awaiting a call back from the manufacturer. The failure mileage was approximately 110,000.

I have problems when my truck is shifting from park to reverse. There is a jerk that happens when I put the truck in reverse. Sometimes when I put the truck in reverse a prompt on the dash says the vehicle must be in park and the R on the 8 speed dial blinks. When I’m on flat pavement and I shift from P to R I feel no jerk. The truck shift perfectly when driving. I also noticed when the vehicle had been sitting for a while and when I go from P to D and start driving I get a hard jerk. I took it to the dealer they reset the Transmission and the problem still exist. I was told that I have to replace the transmission.

The contact owns a 2017 Ram 1500. The contact stated while reversing she felt the vehicle jerk with a loud sound coming from the vehicle causing the vehicle to come to a complete stop. The dealer was contacted, and an appointment was set to diagnose the vehicle. On another occasion, the vehicle was getting detailed and it was noticed that the rear window was leaking and had white mold. The vehicle was taking to the dealer who stated that no failure was found. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 5,000.

I was driving on interstate and my vehicle was running fine. Without any warning, my check engine light came on and "Service ETC" flashed. Vehicle went into limp mode and would not go over 10 miles an hour. Had it towed to dealer, a gasket on the EGR was bad, had been leaking oil into my turbo for "quite some time" according to the dodge dealership. My turbo was blown and manifold melted. This is a diesel and I only had 108,000 miles on it. Always have done the maintenance. The cost of the repair was $11,971.62. There is no reason why this vehicle should have been fine one second and have a catastrophic failure the next. I am aware of the class action lawsuit for models up to 2016 and my truck is a 2017. I believe that this is the same problem. It was 10:00 pm when this happened on the highway. I am very fortunate that I was able to get off of the highway and not be involved in a serious accident at night.
On Saturday, July 16th, I was passing a vehicle at approximately 65mph on a two lane road with no shoulder when my engine stalled. Fortunately I was on a straight stretch of the road and was able to coast to a safe location to attempt to restart my engine. After I stopped, I attempted numerous times to restart my engine without success. This stall caused me to be on the side of the road with no shoulder partially sticking out into the roadway. I eventually had to be towed to my mechanic. Once at my mechanic, he found two recalls that had similar symptoms concerning Dodge RAM Ecodiesels- recall W58 and W68 along with TSB 14-007-21. I contacted RAM and was informed that my VIN number was not included in this recall and that they would not fix my vehicle under this recall without me paying in full and their mechanic verifying what was wrong. They were also backlogged and could not even diagnose the issue for 5-8 business days. I elected to have my mechanic perform the work. Once my mechanic opened the transmission assembly, he found that the tone wheel in fact had lost a piece of the magnetic material just like the photo in the service bulletin. He had to repair all the components of the tone wheel and crank sensor assembly just as the service bulleton said to get the vehicle to run again. I have contacted RAM and they stated there is nothing they can do since there is not an open recall on my VIN number even though my truck matches the model and engine type along with affected years from the recall. My VIN should be included in this recall because this incident matches perfectly what the recall states. I have all the paperwork and the actual tone wheel if that is necessary. I am simply trying to get RAM to pay for what they should be obligated to fix on a known problem. They stated that NHTSA is the organization that recalls vehicles and maybe my VIN would be included at some point- of course I know they just don't want to pay for the repair using this as an excuse.

My rear axle is at a ram dealership have the complete rear axle replaced. It has 90,000 mi and a few thousand miles ago it started to emit a whining noise that just continued to get louder the more I drove it. I took it in one week ago and after a tech checked it out I was told that the entire rear axle had to be replaced at a cost to me of over $5600. I opted to have a used axle installed for half the cost. This problem if left could have led to the rear axle locking up and loss of control. In searching the internet I have found that face has had some recalls on different year trucks for loose pinion nuts and low fluid from the factory and lack of proper heat treating of axle and gears leading to failure. Consumer stated old axle will be available for inspection.
On Sunday March 27, 2022 my daughter and I were in my 2017 Ram 1500 Bighorn 5.7 liter Hemi, driving east bound on a major road leading from my neighborhood. We were going about 50 mph when the entire dash board lit up like a Christmas tree, windshield wipers, radio volume going up and down, all sensors going off, and the entire speedometer went black, all of this happened going full speed, oh, and the gear shift knob turned off!!!! I couldn’t control my vehicle at all. All of this happened and then it just went black, no speedometer, no gear shifter, and no steering control!! I want to remind you that I was driving with my child in the truck!! It is now at my local mechanic with the truck completely bricked. No power whatsoever, gear is stuck, and the key fob is stuck in ACC and they cannot get it out. This needs to be investigated asap. If I was in the highway we would have killed ourselves and possibly someone else. I lost all control over my vehicle due to some freak electrical issue Chrysler refuses to fix. Maybe a fat lawsuit will help. If you research the complaints on this vehicle, you will see this is not the first time this has happened. Does someone, or a family, have to die first before you will respond?!! This is on you Chrysler to do the right thing. Recall these trucks ASAP. I swear to you someone is going to die if you do not act now!! I’m a combat veteran who has been in actual combat, and this was one of the most terrifying incidents of my life, mainly because my babygirl was in there with me. For the price I paid for this truck, it should be darn near bulletproof. Sad day when American manufacturers put profit over people.
Purchased Truck 2017. Truck is less than 5 years old and engine is now at 66,000 miles. Truck purchased from David Dodge, Glenn Mills Pa. Truck oil changes and 57 point inspection completed with no identifying issues reported. Truck has been serviced by Dodge Dealership with 57 point inspection up to and including 2021. Last service done 7/21 at Mount Airy NC Dodge Dealer. Ticking noise from engine became more prominent. Searched online to find Dodge 5.7 Hemi's manifold bolts break off. It is a issue for Dodge 5.7 Hemi's. The problem has been a reoccuring issues for Hemi's identified from manufacturing 2009 forward. Dodge Dealership stated warreny ends at 60,000 miles / or 5 years. Dodge Dealers never identified the manifold bolts breakage issue. The tapping noise from the engine during maintenance by the Dodge Dealer service department never identified the possible manifold breakage issue. Awaiting reply

On 7/16/2021 I was driving my truck when with no warning at all it completely shut off and would not restart and would not let me take the key out. I had to call for a tow truck to pull me out of the drive thru I was stuck at and my truck is currently at my mechanics shop. I was fortunate that this incident took place while moving at a slow speed while in a drive thru at a restaurant. If this had taken place while driving on the freeway or in traffic, I believe I would most likely be dead right now, this was a total shutdown of my truck with absolutely no warning. I called the dealer to advise of the incident and ask if there were any known issues and they were quick to say that only 2018 dodge ram 1500 trucks had this issue and it had to be my battery. Both Triple AAA tow truck driver and mechanic shop that currently has my truck have confirmed that the battery is working perfectly and has no issues. I purchased my truck Oct of 2017 and I am worried that I might have a faulty computer system. Can someone please investigate this incident, I had my 15 yr old son in the truck with me and as I mentioned before if this had happened on the freeway at 75 mph and it completely shut down this same way, we most likely would have been in a major accident and injured and possibly killed. My mechanic spent the entire day trying to find the problem with the truck but is not able to obtain any error codes from the computer. It seems impossible that my truck can completely shut down with no warning, fail to start, fail to be able to remove the key fob from the ignition and yet there is no error showing in the system.

VEHICLE BEGINS SHAKING BETWEEN 68-73 MPH ON SEVERAL DIFFERENT HIGHWAYS. I WANTED TO MAKE SURE IT WAS NOT ROAD CONDITIONS. THE STEERING WHEEL DOESN'T SHAKE BUT THE VEHICLE VIBRATES. MAY BE COMING FROM THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. REPLACED ALL FOUR TIRES WITH BRAND NEW AND HAD THEM BALANCED, HAD THE VEHICLE ALIGNED. SAME PROBLEM OCCURS. THIS SEEMS TO BE A COMMON ISSUE. VEHICLE HAS 34,212 MILES. HAD TIRES REBALANCED AFTER 150 MILES OF USE. ISSUE DID NOT GO AWAY.

I HAVE A 2017 RAM 1500 ECO DIESEL. I HAVE RECEIVED A RECALL ON IT FOR THE DIESEL EGR COOLER. I BROUGHT THE VEHICLE IN ONCE AND AFTER A COMPUTER CHECK WITH THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT, THEY SAID THAT IT DID NOT NEED TO BE REPLACED. CHRYSLER SENT ME MORE RECALL NOTICES THAT SAID I NEEDED TO GET IT REPAIRED. I SPOKE WITH CHRYSLER AND TOLD THEM THAT I HAD IT CHECKED AND THEY INFORMED ME THAT I DID NEED TO HAVE THE RECALL FIXED. I SCHEDULED ANOTHER APPOINTMENT FOR OCT 16 TO GET IT FIXED. AFTER MY TRUCK WAS AT THE DEALERSHIP ALL DAY, I DECIDED TO CALL AND GET THE STATUS ON THE REPAIR ONLY TO BE INFORMED THAT THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT WAS NOT GOING TO REPAIR IT BECAUSE THERE WAS NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT OR LEAK. I FOUND THIS ODD FOR A SAFETY RECALL, SO I CHECKED WITH CHRYSLER AGAIN AND READ THE RECALL INSTRUCTIONS. THE INSTRUCTIONS CLEARLY STATE THAT THE RECALL IS TO BE FIXED AND THE ONLY REASON TO CHECK FOR A LIGHT OR A LEAK IS TO SEE IF THE MANIFOLD IS BAD ALSO. IM NOT SURE WHY ANY SAFETY RECALL WOULD NOT BE FIXED ASAP, ESPECIALLY WHEN THE RECALL SAYS TO GET IT FIXED IMMEDIATELY..
UNCOMMON VEHICLE VIBRATIONS FELT WHILE IDLING. WHILE DRIVING, VEHICLE SHAKES AT ALL SPEEDS AND BECOMES MORE PRONOUNCED THE FASTER THE VELOCITY. AFTER HAVING ROUTINE MAINTENANCE PERFORMED AT CHAPMAN LAS VEGAS VEHICLE WAS RETURNED TO ME. WHEN I TOOK POSSESSION AND STARTED THE VEHICLE AT CHAPMAN LAS VEGAS IT MISFIRED (UNCONTROLLABLY SHAKING) AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT TURNED ON. DEALER ENDED UP KEEPING VEHICLE ANOTHER DAY TO INSPECT MISFIRE/CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ISSUE. ACCORDING TO CHAPMAN LAS VEGAS THEY COULD NOT IDENTIFY THE REASON FOR THE MISFIRE/CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND HAD ME PICK UP THE VEHICLE THE NEXT DAY. WHILE MOVING FORWARD AND PRESSING THE ACCELERATOR, WHEN THE LAG CATCHES UP TO THE ACCELERATOR IT'S LIKE IT KICKS INTO HIGH GEAR (JERKS) AND ADVANCES. TAKING OFF FROM A STOPPED POSITION IS THE WORSE BECAUSE IT'S FRIGHTING - YOU DON'T KNOW HOW LONG THE LAG WILL TAKE TO RECOVER. NOW AT 31100 MILES THE ISSUE HAS HAPPENED AGAIN NEARLY CAUSING ME TO GET T-BONED DUE TO THE LIMP MODE CAUSING A SIGNIFICANT POWER REDUCTION. THE TRUCK HAS BEEN SITTING AT THE DEALERSHIP FOR FOUR DAYS NOW WITHOUT ANY FURTHER COMMUNICATION FROM THEM. I WAS DRIVING DOWN UNIVERSITY DRIVE IN HUNTSVILLE, AL AT ROUGHLY 45MPH ACCELERATING UP A SMALL INCLINE. THE 'LIMP MODE' IS EXTREMELY UNSAFE AND RESTRICTS THE ABILITY TO ACCELERATE OR DRIVE AT A NORMAL PACE. I TAKE MY 13-WEEK OLD DAUGHTER TO AND FROM DAYCARE IN THIS TRUCK AND IT HAS BECOME UNSAFE. WHEN TAKEN TO THE DEALER, THEY ORIGINALLY NOTATED THAT IT WAS JUST A SOFTWARE UPDATE. I LATE GET A CALL THAT THE EGR COOLER HAD GONE OUT, BUT WOULD NOT BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. THE SERVICE ADVISOR TOLD ME THEY HAD 6 OTHER ECODIESEL VEHICLES IN FOR THE SAME ISSUE IN THE LAST WEEK. I CALLED THE DEALER I BOUGHT IT FROM AND THEY HAD ONE IN THE SHOP IN FOR THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM. I THEN STARTED DOING RESEARCH AND FOUND THAT THE EGR COOLER IS A HUGE ISSUE FOR THESE TRUCKS AND FCA REFUSES TO ADDRESS IT. I CALLED THE FCA AND THEY EVENTUALLY AGREED TO REPLACE THE TRUCK ON 'GOOD WILL' AFTER I PAID A DEDUCTIBLE. FCA NEEDS TO PUT A RECALL ON THESE VEHICLES AND FIX THE EGR ISSUES. THE SECOND TIME IT HAPPENED TO ME WAS AT THE GROCERY STORE PARKING LOT, I WAS PULLING INTO A PARKING SPOT, STOPPED TO BACK UP AND STRAIGHTEN OUT, PUT IT IN REVERSE, ALL IT WOULD IS FLASH. TIED UP THE PARKING LOT FOR APPROXIMATELY 40 MINUTES. FINALLY IT WORKED.

I PUT THE TRUCK IN NEUTRAL, AS INSTRUCTED BY THE ATTENDANT. AT THE END OF THE WASH, WHEN THE GREEN LIGHT CAME ON, I PUT IT INTO DRIVE. IT DID NOT MOVE. I TRIED MANY TIMES, BUT WITHOUT SUCCESS. FINALLY THE MANAGER CAME TO HELP ME, AND HE TOO WITNESSED THAT IT WOULD NOT MOVE. WE PUT IT INTO PARK, AND THEN INTO DRIVE, TWO MORE TIMES BEFORE IT FINALLY JERKED FORWARD. IN THE MEANTIME, I WAS HIT BY THE TRUCK BEHIND ME, AND SET OFF A CHAIN OF 5 VEHICLES COLLIDING. THE GEAR DIAL SAID I WAS IN DRIVE EACH TIME, BUT CLEARLY, I WAS NOT. THIS HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE NORMAL PROCEDURE THAT PREVENTS THE RIG FROM ROLLING BACKWARD. WHEN I DID THIS AND ADDED MORE THROTTLE THE TRUCK STARTED TO MOVE FORWARD BUT THEN QUICKLY DISENGAGED FROM PARK TO N, THE TRUCK STARTED TO ROLL BACKWARDS AND THE RPM INCREASED. I WAS ABLE TO APPLY THE BRAKE AND STOP. THIS REPEATED SEVERAL TIMES. THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FLASHED A WARNING THAT THE TRUCK WAS NOT IN PARK. I BELIEVE THERE IS A FLAW IN THE AUTO PARK FEATURE. IT IS REPEATABLE. INCLINE, DOOR AJAR, BELT ON, FROM PARK TO DRIVE. ON FLAT GROUND I CAN NOT DUPLICATE.

THE TRUCK ACCELERATED TO ABOVE 8 MPH WITH THE RPM'S ALSO INCREASING AND THAN SUDDENLY DECREASING BACK TO NORMAL. I HAVE BEEN TRAVELING THIS ROAD FOR OVER 20 YEARS WITH MANY DIFFERENT VEHICLES AND HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED THIS KIND OF BEHAVIOR FROM A VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS BROUGHT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND I WAS TOLD THAT THERE IS NOTHING THAT THEY COULD FIND WRONG, BUT THEY RE-FLASHED TRANSMISSION. THAT SOLVED NOTHING, EVERY TIME I GO DOWN THAT SAME SPOT I HAVE SAME RESULT. SUPPOSEDLY FCA ENGINEERING IS REVIEWING ISSUE, IF THIS IS TO HAPPEN IN THE WINTER, I KNOW THAT THE VEHICLE HAS A VERY COULD CHANCE OF BECOMING UNCONTROLLABLE SINCE THE TRUCK WOULD JUST START TO SKID WHEN IT SLOWS ABRUPTLY. THIS EXACT SAME THING HAPPEN TWICE THIS MORNING 07/27/17 - I STOPPED THE VEHICLE, PUT IT IN PARK (LIGHT ABOVE "P" WAS LIT) THE DISPLAY STATED "VEHICLE NOT IN PARK" SO I PUT IT BACK IN DRIVE THEN BACK TO PARK WITH THE SAME DISPLAY APPEARING. BOTH TIMES THE INDICATOR LIGHT ABOVE THE "P" WAS LIT.

ROTARY GEAR SHIFT KNOB ISSUE. PUT IN PARK, GOT OUT TO CLOSE MY GATE, TRUCK BEGAN ROLLING BACKWARDS WENT THROUGH MY YARD CRASHED INTO & OVER MY WATER WELL. NOT THE FIRST TIME IT HASN'T HELD.

TRUCK WAS LEFT IN PARK IN MY DRIVEWAY...THE NEXT DAY IT WAS FOUND TO HAVE ROLLED DOWN THE DRIVEWAY INTO THE STREETWISE GOT INTO THE TRUCK AND VERIFIED THE SHIFTER WAS INDEED IN THE PARK POSITION 2017 RAM 1500 WITH THE 8 SPEED TRANSMISSION AND ROTARY SHIFTER
