Rear window glass crumbled/shattered around frame causing leaks around the window and glass fragments to fall out onto roadway. There was a extended warranty issued for this reason on my make and model year of truck due to the frame cracking and allowing water to get into the frame but was told my vehicle wasn't included. I live in Ohio so and water in the frame with fluctuations in temps especially extreme would cause this situation.

I am reporting a safety-related exhaust leak on my 2021 Ram 1500. The vehicle has a persistent exhaust leak which may allow fumes to enter the cabin and poses a health and safety hazard. Over the past 6–9 months, I attempted multiple times to have this issue repaired under my warranty at the authorized dealership (Jimmy Britt CDJR, now Joe Maus CDJR in Dublin, GA). However, the dealership refused to schedule a proper appointment and would only tell me to “drop it off” with no estimated timeframe and no loaner vehicle. Because I rely on the truck for work, I cannot leave it indefinitely. The dealership’s refusal has prevented me from obtaining repair of this safety defect, and I am forced to continue driving with a known hazard. This appears to be a safety-related defect involving the exhaust system, and the manufacturer and dealership have not provided an adequate means to repair it.

The uconnect radio system freezes. It will do this and then reset. Sometimes it resets multiple times before working. It will freeze when using the backup camera. The entire screen will be frozen until it resets itself it takes approximately 60 seconds for it to reset.

I was told by the dealer that the exhaust bolts for the Y pipe to the extension pipe are broken causing my exhaust to be louder than normal. My truck is 4 years old and I expect that the exhaust hardware would last longer than 4 years but apparently not. This condition may allow exhaust fumes to leak into the cab area of the vehicle potentially leading to someone getting sick or worse causing an accident from potentially loosing consciousness while driving. I went to a forum where they discussed this issue of the broken bolts on the Dodge Ram Trucks.

My passenger side sun visor came lose where the arm attaches to the roof. I believe there are recall on certain 2019-2020 Ram trucks for this same issue. In researching on the internet, it appears this is a rampant problem on both driver and passenger Sun visors. Not being able to use the sun visors properly could significantly impact visibility not to mention potential electrical issues due to the vanity wiring being strained and possibly exposed. This is a major safety concern.

My truck is equipped with a swing gate tailgate. Today I tried to open the tailgate multiple times and it would not open. It would not let down, nor would the swing gate open.

I have had 2 separate instances where I had my foot on the brake and the accelerator kicked in, the engine revved up and the truck tried to move forward all while I had my foot still pressed down as hard as I could on the brake. Once the engine was not revving any longer, I put the truck in park and sat for a second so I could gather my composure. After I sat for a second and put it back in Drive it didn't do it again. This happened in the same manner both times. It happened once in October 2024 and the 2nd time in January 2025.

I am submitting this report to alert the NHTSA of potential safety violations and undisclosed structural damage, drivetrain modifications, and possible engine replacement regarding my 2021 RAM 1500, which was purchased from Courtesy Chevrolet after being previously owned by Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Unreported Frame Damage & Structural Repairs Multiple inconsistent and unseen frame welds were discovered, indicating prior accident damage and unreported frame repair. Frame welds do not match factory precision welding, suggesting post-factory reinforcement or structural fixes. Undisclosed Transmission Swap from 8-Speed to 6-Speed According to NHTSA records and the vehicle’s VIN, my RAM 1500 was manufactured with an 8-speed transmission. After purchase, I discovered that the 8-speed had been swapped for an older 6-speed transmission (6HP70), which was never disclosed. This creates potential drivability and safety concerns, as the truck’s ECU may not be calibrated for the correct transmission. I just purchased a new truck on Friday and was told on car fax it had a open recall .On 1/20/25 around 0835 I arrived at service entrance and was not greeted or checked in after being told I would be charged a diagnosis fee for a very important safety recall related to ABS . I would like this incident investigated as it jeopardizes my and my family safety . Also told him the truck was under warranty and the wireless charging for phones was not working and got bring it back to where you bought it . I requested his supervisor and he walked away and acted like he was on the phone . This is my only local dodge dealer and now forced to goad hour south to get this fixed . I took a card because service manager never came out to address me as customer this dealership needs looked into .I think I was also discriminated at for being Caucasian as both service techs are Hispanic info email of service manager from card is Location of Dodge dealer . The person that wanted to charge me avoided me asking his name but had long curly hair and younger thug attitude guy . Also was told to leave after like anyone would be upset of a safety recall that are free and being told I would be charged. I’m requesting an investigation into this matter and or pursuing legal action . I know it’s a federal holiday and I have a 3 day weekend but hope this matter can be addressed soon as this is not right . Thank you . Open recall 75B on 21 ram 1500 dealer and manufacture says they don’t not have software update for my vehicle and there nothing they can do. Hard to get into contact with anyone and once I do I’m transferred or waiting on hold for hours

Both of the front driver and passenger side flip down sun visors have broken within one week of each other. Each visor is attached to the ceiling of the cab by a metal arm with a plastic retaining clip. That plastic clip has broken on both visors within one week of each other and my truck only gets very light use. Since the retaining clip is broken both visors fall out of the ceiling and hang in the view of the driver and block the line of sight, which means the driver can not see directly in front forward. I have spoken to the local Dage Ram dealership who sold me the truck as well as the main national Ram customer service and both say the repair is outside of warranty even though its a safety issue and a clear defect so they will not fix the issues without me paying form $550 plus labor for each visor.

I believe the list should be expanded and that I should receive a refund from FCA for the repair work that was completed.

Heater core went out at 60,000 or even earlier. Antifreeze has been coming out of my vents for weeks. I have kids under 3. The part is back ordered at every dealership ive called.

Exhaust manifolds on both sides cracked and need replacing. Started about a year ago from this date. Dealer informed my mechanic they are seeing about 1400 units replaced a month.

This has happened twice both on the interstate. Vehicle just turns off by itself. No codes are flashed up (unless they came up right as it happened and I didn't see them because I was too worried about getting hit). I called the Dodge dealership and scheduled an appointment. Went on 3/9/2024. They scanned the vehicle and did not see any codes. Was asked if I wanted to have a tech look at the vehicle. Was recommended not to because there was no codes and the likelihood of them finding anything was slim to none. They were also going to charge me for the diagnostic (to have the tech look at it) even if there was not an issue found. Service Rep (not the tech) told me she recommended that I try to take a video of it, if it happens again, so they could see what codes come up. This issue as well as the suggestion to try to video it is a huge safety risk. (happened 1/28/2024 the first time I thought it was because the vehicle sat for a week without being driven - figured it was water in the fuel until it happened again on 3/4/2024)

Water leaks down the inside of the back window directly onto and over the 48 Volt lithium ion battery pack, equipped in my ram Etorque model. this occurs even after small quantities of rain, after water testing it myself it is clear the water is going between the rear glass and the body and into the cabin. I have had this documented with the dealer twice, and called Ram corporate support multiple times, and receive the same answer, and even though I have a seven year 1,000,000 mile warranty, they refused to fix it stating it is not covered. however the exact same issue has created an extended warranty condition out to 10 years for ram 1500 models built between 2019 until September 30 of 2020. the build date of my vehicle is October 19 of 2020. 20 days later.. Corporate support refuses to believe this condition may have existed beyond their September 30, 2020 date. As it is well documented with the mass quantities of electric vehicle fires, created by lithium ion battery packs, I tried to file a safety complaint as well. The answer I received from Ram corporate was “the lithium ion battery pack beneath the rear window behind the rear seats is a sealed system, so it is OK if it gets wet” even though it is inside of the cab. The ram 1500s from my date range have known issues with water leaks through the rear center mounted brake light and through the glass due to cracked frames on the vehicles, sliding rear windows, such as mine, however they refused to believe any of those conditions may have transferred to my specific vehicle despite a $7000 extended warranty. I am Reporting this condition because I am afraid water intrusion onto a lithium ion battery inside the vehicle could result in loss of life as this system is now a standard feature on all ram 1500s as of 2022.

MY 2021 RAM 1500 IS LEAKING WATER INTO THE CAB COMPARTMENT. EVERYTIME IT RAINS I GET A SOAKING WET FLOOR IN THE BACK OF THE TRUCK AND THE TRUCK FILLS UP WITH MOISTURE. IT IS VERY SMELLY AND I CAN SEE EXACTLY WHERE THE TRUCK IS LEAKING. I UNDERSTAND THERE IS A LAWSUIT GOING ON FOR THIS EXACT PROBLEM. WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS. MY 2021 RAM 1500 IS LEAKING WATER INTO THE CAB COMPARTMENT. EVERYTIME IT RAINS I GET A SOAKING WET FLOOR IN THE BACK OF THE TRUCK AND THE TRUCK FILLS UP WITH MOISTURE. IT IS VERY SMELLY AND I CAN SEE EXACTLY WHERE THE TRUCK IS LEAKING. I UNDERSTAND THERE IS A LAWSUIT GOING ON FOR THIS EXACT PROBLEM. WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS. I started smelling coolant inside the cabin of my 2021 RAM 1500 at approximately 49000 miles. I'm the original owner. After waiting for over a month before the dealership could look at my truck, I was told my heater core needed replaced at a cost of $2369.52 and charged a diagnostic fee of $201.49. Because the basic warranty had expired, and the truck is less than 3 years old, I called Chrysler Customer Care for assistance. They opened case number 87011413, and was assigned a case manager. I was told I would be contacted in 1 to 2 business days. It has been 3 weeks, and I still haven't heard from the case manager. I tried calling Customer Care several times but I only get voice mail.

Motor decelerates and won't shift. when at a stop light I press the accelerator to gain speed an motor winds out but won't correct its self until I pull over turn the motor off and start the truck again. It happens every 1000 miles or so

Exhaust bolts failed on two separate occasions. I'm concerned that this will lead to an accident if parts of the exhaust system come apart and make contact with the road. The parts have been replaced (twice) and I've contacted the manufacturer who seems to have little concern at this time

While the truck was in Drive gear at a stop light took my foot off brake pedal and pressed the gas pedal. The truck did not do anything for a second or two then it jerked and stalled. This has happened several times. I called the dealer and they said its a known issue that they don't know how to fix yet. This issue is unsafe and dangerous.

The soft trifold tonneau cover supplied by Ram is under designed and a safety hazard. My tonneau cover blew off my truck while drive down I75 it was installed properly and was in excellent condition. In the darkness of early morning and a gusting day while passing under an overpass at 75 miles per hour the legal northern Michigan speed limit on December 22nd 2022 a cold wind day. This cover is held in place with 4 small plastic clips. the clips failed on the uplift of a gust of wind. The wind was likely just under 60 mile per hour gusts as the Mackinaw bridge was slow speed but not yet closed. I was about 4 mile from the Bridge. The hold down clip have a cross sectional area of a mere 0.28 SqIn at failure point. the 2 drivers side failed as the cover lifted. The cover has a 5052 SqIn surface area to be held down by the 7800 lbs. load cap of 2 clips. A mere 1.55 psi of uplift caused by a 50+ mph wind gust which can generate more than 100psi certainly tossed my cover into the bush. This is a travesty to have these trifold covers on the road supplied by a reputable company who wish to ignore the situation. I have made numerous attempts to have RAM address this but to no avail. I would hope the NTSB will force a recall all these covers. the Mackinaw bridge authority makes you remove them to cross the bridge in extreme winds.
The rear camera occasionally shows a black screen. If I turn off/on the truck its still the same. If it stays off for more than an hour and then turned back on then sometimes the camera works but some times it still doesn't work. It's very scary backing up a truck without a camera. I feel very unsafe doing so. There is an active recall for this exact issue but my truck is not affected by this recall: NHTSA campaign number: 23V059. Ram’s own number for this recall is 14A. How can i get this safety problem fixed if my truck ks not affected by the recall. Thanks.

Driving through town on my way home from work, the instrument cluster display went black and gauges died. I have no access to fuel level, engine temps, speedometer, rpm's, warning indicators, etc. Have to take it in to dealer for a multi-day diagnosis and hopefully free repair. 2two year old vehicle with only 25k miles.

At any rate of speed the vehicle stalls and looses power with no warning. No check engine lights or any indicator comes on until the vehicle is already in stall position.

Bed separated due to improper weld. Caused gap large enough that a ratchet strap was able to pass through due to air flow and melted to hot exhausts located directly below.

I purchased a 2021 Ram TRX in Nov of 2021. The tailgate had opened on its own several times over 9 months until Nov 2022. I complained to dealer during oil changes and they said it was my fault and blamed me for not shutting it hard enough or hitting release button in my pocket. I had 8 instances of the tailgate coming open. One I had my cargo load calm out onto highway. Two I had my golf clubs fall out onto highway. Three I had my tailgate hit my boat trailer jack. I went to an independent shop to determine if they could help some dealer never even recorded my complaints or requests. On inspection we found the strikers severely out of alignment and adjusted them to fix issue. We recorded videos and photos of the alignment prior to adjustment and after. In Dec 2022, Ram issued a recall for this exact issue. They then inspected my vehicle and noted the adjustments we made and the facts it was out of alignment prior. Marks could be easily seen where it was factory installed and where we adjusted to remediate. Stellantis and Ram are now denying all liability for my losses and damages prior to the recall since I repaired outside of Ram despite their refusal to repair after several losses incurred.

On 12/16/21 with mileage at 10,380 my truck lost power and engine turned off as i was making a left turn at a speed of somewhere between 5-10 MPH. After a complete stop i was able to turn the truck back on and everything seemed normal. I did called FCA the following day and was told to have it checked at a dealership near me but Covid hit my family around that time so i didn’t take it in for service. on 2/27/22 with 14,800 miles the truck stalled again as i was making a left turn at a busy intersection. The truck stalled on me again for the 3rd time but i didn’t document date or mileage. Currently i have a little over 32,000 miles and truck has stalled 3 times and not once did i get a check engine light.

Sunroof exploded when driving on highway. Safety was put at risk with glass and being startled when driving. Contacted dealer and also FCA, pending contact back. No prior signs that glass was pending failure. Glass blew outwards from the roof.

The Map installed by the factory in my new 2021 Ram truck displays incorrect speed limits at times. This is dangerous as it always shows 55mph even in a 25mph zone when it is malfunctioning. If you are in an unfamiliar area, and have not passed a physical speed limit sign, this incorrect information could cause a wreck if there are sudden curves or other dangers on that road. Ram refuses to fix under warranty saying it is third party software. I contacted the software company and was told that they have no warranty on their defective software and I would have to buy a new map for $149 and see if that fixes the issue. I questioned her further as she had said "see" if it fixes it and she said the speed limits that their software shows are not always correct and should not be relied on. She could not guarantee the new download would be correct. I am not sure how many accidents may have been caused by this defect but I would like this investigated and at the least make them add a prominent warning message that comes up anytime you activate the Navigation screen. At least that way the consumer would know not to rely on the info being presented to them as they drive.

No doors have been open and any passenger in the car has the seat belt engaged. Once it happened when no one but me was in the vehicle, the second time was with my family in the car. It has been in the shop four or five times in the past year (well over 30 days in shop) for the identical problem, slams on brakes for no reason - I named my truck, “death trap”! This problem has occurred on at least seven occasions and my dealer representative admonishes me for being annoyed with them that they can’t find the problem, since in their words, “it only happened seven times“. You might wonder why it’s been named death trap? Well, when your truck is driving normally, and then it stops, slams on the brakes, practically gives you whiplash, your chest is squeezed by the seat belt, and you’re stranded in the middle of an intersection or an entrance on a multi lane highway, or out of a parking lot, and you have no way to make it go until you have to sit for two or three minutes pushing buttons resetting restarting, its earned the name “death trap”. I am one of many many owners with this identical problem. Golling Chrysler seems to think it’s OK to keep sending me home in a death trap. Workers have mocked me, insulted me, and endangered me. I had to resort to calling Chrysler Corporation and now I have a case!!?. Didn’t take long, within five minutes of telling my story to the Chrysler representative my case was put into escalation mode and they actually used the word “buyback”. What are they going to do after they buy it back from me, sell it to some poor other victim that won’t know the difference? Chrysler time to admit, uncover, and rectify this problem before my death trap and those others out there actually cause a fatal accident. Listen to your customers and read all the complaints on this site that are exactly the same as mine. Better yet, take my truck, give it to your spouse, child or someone you love and then see how you feel about a truck that slams on the brakes for no known reason! I’m tired of being a sitting duck in this death trap!

Within first mile of operation within neighborhood while accelerating through away from stop sign executing a left hand turn traveling below 15 mph the vehicle stalls. Truck immediately automatically engages parking brake forcing sudden stop. Issue has occurred intermittently at least once a month since purchase. Vehicle is not set for auto emergency braking. This issue is a significant safety issue for anyone on roads.

Today traveling at approximately 35 mph I slowed to yield at a round about but did not reach a complete stop, as I went to go my truck went forward into a very busy round about and the engine shut off completely. I stalled, rolling into a 2 lane roundabout on a busy road, fearful for my life. Center screen stated to place vehicle in park before starting. I placed my flashers on and mid panic attack managed to think enough to restart the engine. I placed the shifter dial into Park and restarted without any issue. The emergency brake had become engaged at this time. I was able to release that and safely exit the roundabout. I did cause a backup and was left in a potentially lethal situation. Very very scary. No issues after this. Had my husband check truck when I got home, no error codes detected. I do not know if it is related but I do on occasion feel like there is issue with the auto start/stop feature “sticking or hiccuping” when I do not come to a complete stop (our area had many round abouts)

I was able to restart the truck but this is the 2nd time something like this has occurred since owning this brand new vehicle. This created a potentially hazardous situation as the people behind me had no warning and if I were to cut out into a busy street I would have been hit. I'm fearful of this happening in a busy area while with my family. The dealership/manufacturer has not looked at this vehicle since the incident. I am scheduled to bring it in next weekend.

This is a significant risk to health and safety of vehicle occupants and other vehicles that may be traveling near them when this happens. Depending on speed it occurs, the outcome could result in death. I did attempt to connect my on-board diagnostic/monitoring system and found that the manufacturer has it block so I cannot see any possible codes or sensor readings of the vehicle. Then they say nothing is wrong when you take it to them to scan. That is also unacceptable.

Repeated efforts to turn the backup camera on by putting the vehicle in reverse or selecting the backup camera from the control panel resulted in a black screen. Repeated efforts to turn the vehicle off and on several times consecutively had the same result. I also tried opening and closing the tail gate with no positive result.
My new truck has less than 500 miles on it, and it was just purchased new last month. This incident has happened to me twice so far on the mornings of 10/31/2021 and 11/7/2021. Making a slow left hand turn, the vehicle turned off and and stopped in the middle of the intersection. The vehicle emergency brake also automatically was set when it stalled. The message on the dash said something like to restart, put foot on brake and push start button. This incident was very dangerous and could have resulted in an accident. I am lucky I was not hit in the intersection. In both cases, this occurred about a mile from my home and my initial trip of the day. Temperature outside was normal about 60 degrees. I have scheduled an appointment with the dealer for 11/9/2021

04-19-21, 05-18-21, 07-05-21, 09-19-21, 10-06-21, 10-30-21. Engine shuts off while making a right hand turn at approximately 10-15 mph. Emergency flashers automatically turn on, "Shift to P to start" appears on dash. I then brake to come to a complete stop. The truck then converts its-self from "Drive" to "Park" and engages the emergency brake. "Press brake and push button to start appears on dash". I press brake and push button to start vehicle. Vehicle then turns on and I disengage Emergency break. I then put truck in drive and turn off flashers. Dash then says "Autopark disabled" and I continue on. This has happened on all of the above dates. I was nearly rear ended when it occurred on 09-19-2021. I have video footage of two of the occurrences. Took truck to dealership on the following dates regarding issue: 04-29-21(3,232 mi.), 05-27-21 (4,227 mi.) , 06-11-20, 07-08-2021(6,295 mi). Chrysler service department said the issue must have been a "glitch" and could never duplicate the problem. Got a letter in the mail from Ram in July stating that I would have to begin paying for the inspections regarding the issue since receiving the letter. Have not taken it to the dealership since then. *** Other Issues *** -Can’t use park assist because brakes randomly lock up when backing out of my driveway or parking spots angled at a slope. -Truck quit honking when pressing lock button on 10-16-2021 – took to Dealership on 10-23-2021 issue resolved -Truck failed to shift on interstate- quit accelerating and revved up to 6,000 RPMS – 10-29-2021 -Truck would not accelerate at stop light 11-02-2021 and then tires spun out when it finally did accelerate.

Once stoped the dash read “press brake and push button to start”. The dash then read “park brake auto engaged press brake +push switch to release”. I then pressed brake and pushed switch to turn off E-brake. The screen then read “Safe-hold temporarily disabled” I then turned the truck on and the dash read “auto park disabled”. To sum up, the truck is auto parking while I am driving down the road. This occurred today (11-03-2021) at 9:50AM. Two times within 1 week this has happened. Beginning to occur more and more frequently. Has happened several times in the past and the dealership told me there’s nothing they can do because they can’t duplicate the issue. Some red light on the dash quickly flashed and right after the truck shut off. A vehicle behind be stopped and slowed traffic down thankfully and I was frantically able to start it and immediately pulled off the freeway and just thankful. I called my hubby to come switch vehicles cause I wasn't going to drive it after that. I'm still having issues with the truck staying on after turning it off happened about twice a week for a few minutes then I move parking spots and see what happens. Just a beautiful truck but so many safety issues. Oh and seems like the truck was slapped together. Mufflers aren't straight or even, interior door panels keep coming off, lining is already falling apart, front bumper goes to the right, and break system just turns on at times. Truck was bought brand new with 49 or 59 miles and currently has 26k yes I know high but that's no reason for this to be happening. I have videos of these things happening.

I started slowing down to make a left turn. upon making left turn, power was lost and I tried to step on the gas but no power. truck full of gas with only 90 miles at time of occurrence. sign on the dash to put truck on park as it was loosing power. radio and lights remained on but no power. truck came to a complete stop. turned off and tried to turn back on and once it turned on emergency brake was automatically applied by vehicle. removed parking brake and truck was shaking and acting as if transmission or something was going to go out again.

While making a right hand turn from a stop at low speed, my truck completely stalled all electrical systems and dash indicators turned off or failed and the vehicle coasted to a stop. I was able to restart the truck using the normal start procedure and there were no further issues. This could have resulted in a traffic accident with potentially fatal injuries.
While making a right hand turn from a stop at low speed, my truck completely stalled all electrical systems and dash indicators turned off or failed and the vehicle coasted to a stop. I was able to restart the truck using the normal start procedure and there were no further issues. This could have resulted in a traffic accident with potentially fatal injuries.
Just purchased truck a few days ago. Only 350 miles on it now. On 9-27-21 at approximately 8:50am, I was taking my son to school. I stopped at a stop sign and then proceeded to make a right turn onto the roadway when all of a sudden the engine cut off. Everything else stayed on in the truck. It would not allow me to apply the brakes, start the engine, turn the steering wheel, etc. It traveled across the roadway, into oncoming traffic lane, and then came to a soft stop by itself halfway on the roadway. It activated the electronic brake therefore I had to deactivate the brake, apply brake, turn the shifter to park and then restart the engine, disengage the parking brake again, and shift back into drive in order to drive. All this while in the wrong travel lane. Dealer and FCA has been contacted and could not find the problem.

PEB AND FCW with BRAKING did not work when truck hit a 90 gallon empty trash can at less than 6 mph. There was no damage to the truck nor the can. These systems are supposed to brake when the truck is about to hit something. If the can were a person, damage would have been done. The dealer service man said he thought it should have braked and scheduled to be looked at September 27, 2021 at 8 AM. There was no known warnings at the time of this incident in August 2021.

To answer the above questions: - Not sure what system failed but the vehicle is available for inspection upon request. - The safety of myself & family are put at risk anytime the stalling occurs, especially when turning on to a road with oncoming traffic as the truck could potentially shut off again automatically. - The issue has yet to be confirmed by a dealer. I take the vehicle in on 8/1/2021 to be diagnosed. - The vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police or insurance representative as of yet. - No prior warning lamps, messages or other symptoms aside from stalling at different times. Backup camera sometimes has blank screen and guide lines sometimes are not there and zoom function does not work when no guidelines. Truck has been to the dealership 5-7 times, in January they replaced the camera itself but did not fix the issue. I was to they cannot do anything at this point unless it fails at the dealer. It does not have the trailer backup camera.

I started the truck and drove about a 1/4 mile in my neighborhood. I never got over 20 mph. I approached a red stop light to turn right. I stopped at the light to check for traffic. I then proceeded to turn right and 1/2 way through the turn the truck shut off without warning and it automatically applied the emergency brake. Luckily there were no cars coming in the right hand lane else we could have been hit. I am taking it to the dealership tomorrow for inspection. The info screen notified me that the emergency brake had been applied and that the transmission had been autoset to park. It said to apply the brake to start the truck (it has push button start). I did so and the truck started. I disengaged the emergency brake and the truck then drove normally the rest of the trip.

Pulled out into Traffic SEVERE lack of acceleration almost cause Me to get hit in the Driver side door. Got online and noticed a lot of People complaining about a Pedal Lag. This Is DANGEROUS and needs to be addressed. This is a 2021 Ram with 283 miles on it again this is a DANGEROUS issue

I PARKED MY TRUCK, SHUT OFF THE ENGINE, AND EXITED AND WENT INSIDE. I WAS WALKING MY DOG SEVERAL MINUTES LATER AND SEEMED TO NOTICE MY TRUCK MOVING BACKWARDS. I SAW THE FRESH TRACKS IN THE SNOW IN FRONT OF MY TRUCK AND REALIZED THAT IT WAS ROLLING BACKWARD ON MY DRIVEWAY. I GOT IN, PRESSED THE BRAKES TO STOP THE ROLLING AND TRIED CYCLING THE POWER. MY KEYS WERE INSIDE SO I RUSHED IN TO GET THEM AND THEN BACK TO THE TRUCK. IT STARTED WITHOUT CHANGING THE SHIFT SELECTOR KNOB, SO IT HAD DEFINITELY BEEN REQUESTED TO ENGAGE PARK.
