The contact owns a 2025 Ram 1500. The contact had experienced several electrical failures since purchasing the vehicle brand new. The contact stated that there was a sudden loss of power steering functionality, and the Lane Keep Assist would engage and normally vibrated the steering wheel; however, the vehicle and steering wheel continued to vibrate after the vehicle was centered. Additionally, the vehicle lost the instrument cluster image and power window functionality. The master window lock switch on the driver's side console had never worked since purchasing the vehicle. The failures were intermittent. The contact stated that occasionally, several warning lights were illuminated during the failures. The vehicle was towed to a local dealer where it was diagnosed, and determined that the TFT module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure reoccurred. The vehicle was taken back to the same dealer and was still being diagnosed. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and referred the contact back to the dealer for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 3,000.

The contact stated that occasionally the vehicle needed to be jump-started. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer on two occasions, and the two main batteries were replaced; however, the failure reoccurred. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. While operating the vehicle, the engine shut off unexpectedly and without warning while the vehicle was in traffic. In one incident, the vehicle was stopped at a traffic light and, when the accelerator was pressed after the light turned green, the engine cut off and the transmission automatically shifted into PARK. The vehicle became disabled in active traffic with other vehicles behind it. A similar incident occurred previously in a parking lot. The vehicle began sputtering and then shut off when shifted into reverse, again forcing the transmission into PARK. These events occurred after the vehicle had recently been returned from an authorized dealership where it was reported that all issues were repaired. The malfunction appears to involve the engine, electrical system, and powertrain, specifically a loss of engine power combined with an unintended automatic shift into PARK. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request and is currently back at an authorized dealership for service. These failures placed my safety and the safety of others at risk by leaving the vehicle suddenly disabled in traffic, blocking lanes, and creating a risk of rear-end collision. One incident occurred during morning rush hour with surrounding vehicles, increasing the risk to other motorists. The problem has occurred multiple times and has been reported to and inspected by authorized dealerships on several occasions. Diagnostic testing, software/system updates, electrical inspections, and component replacements have been performed. Despite these inspections and repair attempts, the problem continues and has not been resolved. Prior to and during the failures, warning messages and alerts appeared on the dashboard, including repeated ParkSense warnings and other system alerts. In some instances, additional warning messages appeared at the time of the shutdown. These warnings have occurred intermittently since earlier service visits. 2025 Ram 4x4 had approx 2500 miles when the instrument panel went completely blank. Was driving so pulled over, turned off engine, then back on with no cure. Went to my destination, parked the truck for 4 hrs and when returned problem was gone. Went to the dealer to report the issue and they said there wasn't a fix. Now I have received a safety recall on the truck 3 weeks later. I'll go back to the dealer to see what they can do???

Shortly after purchasing the vehicle, I began experiencing intermittent electrical and driver assistance system malfunctions. These issues included warning messages, unexpected system behavior, and periods where multiple advanced driver assistance features were unavailable or disabled. The problem first occurred around April 4, 2025, at approximately 665 miles. Since then, the issue has occurred intermittently and has been difficult to predict or reliably reproduce. I brought the vehicle to an authorized dealer multiple times for warranty repair. On at least one visit, the dealer was unable to duplicate the concern. On subsequent visits, the dealer performed warranty-related diagnostics and repairs; however, the original issues have not been clearly confirmed as resolved. At times, the vehicle was deemed drivable but not confirmed to be fully repaired. Manufacturer technical assistance (STAR/engineering) has been involved in reviewing data and test results. As of the most recent service visit, the vehicle remains under review, and I do not have confirmation that the root cause has been identified or corrected. The intermittent nature of the malfunction and loss of driver assistance features creates concern for vehicle reliability and safety, especially when the systems fail without warning.

Check engine light is on and off for the past month. The day before I took it to the dealer the light went off. I went into my vehicle appointment, and the check engine light was off and there were old codes for the fuel temperature. He reset the codes, and the engine light went off. I drove off and obtained fuel the next day and when I filled the tank, the check engine light went back on again. On December 21st, 2025 I drove it to an AutoZone for the free engine code diagnostic tool/test. The code that presents itself is "Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Intermittent". This is the second issue with the vehicles electrical system. The first was two weeks after I bought the vehicle in March 2025 the vehicle would not start. Come to find out, the electronic shifter was wired wrong from the factory and a whole new was ordered and installed. I will have to take it back again to the dealer.

The vehicle was taken to the same local dealer on various occasions. The battery and other unknown parts were replaced; however, the failure persisted. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The first major problem was when the truck just didn't start 11/25/2025. The truck was towed to the dealership. The dealership said it was a bad electrical fuse and I picked up the truck. There were no warning lights on before the brake failure. Last week, 12/18/2025 my brakes failed while I was driving my son home from school; thankfully we were in our development and going very slow so we weren't harmed. I was driving like I normally do, and went to brake, and the brakes weren't working, the pedal was to the floor. There was just no resistance with the brakes at that time. All the warning lights in the truck were flashing. After we rolled to a stop in the grass, I turned the truck off. I tried to turn it back on but it wouldn't go on. I waited a few mintues and tried again and it turned on. I was a few houses away from my home so I attempted to drive it again very slowly, and the brakes worked again. The truck got towed to the dealership, and the dealership is saying they can not find anything wrong with the truck now. There must be some kind of major electrical issue going on, but the dealership says they can't find anything wrong.

All issues have been reported and duplicated by the dealer. 1. Upon hard acceleration, vehicle dash flashes service 4 wheel drive and all lights surrounding the shifting knob flash. In one instance, it locked into 4 wheel (high) and was difficult to steer. Cleared upon restart. 2. Backup camera went totally to blue screen, no camera. 3. Instrument panel went dark when driving, no speedometer or other information on panel. 4. Front and rear end collision warning lamp indicates off, but never manually disengaged. 5. Other warning lights on periodically for no reason. 6. Since most of these items clear upon restarting the vehicle, it's often difficult to get to the dealer for inspection. They have, however, witnessed most of these incidents and in some cases have reproduced them when leaving the vehicle with them. 7. Despite multiple repair attempts, the vehicle continues to experience significant, recurring issues that substantially impair its use, value, and safety. Since purchase in April from Hebert’s Town and Country, the vehicle has been in service nine (9) times, totaling approximately 50 days out of service. The last four service visits were for the same issue and the same diagnostic fault code, demonstrating a persistent, unresolved defect. The check engine light is currently illuminated again. The primary unresolved issues include: recurring check engine light with repeated fault codes, multiple battery replacements, the vehicle being completely inoperable and requiring towing, and the auto start/stop system shutting the vehicle off and failing to restart while stopped in traffic. These conditions present clear safety concerns and have persisted despite repeated repair attempts by authorized RAM dealerships. All service records and diagnostic reports are available for review. This vehicle was previously submitted to arbitration. While the arbitrator acknowledged manufacturing defects, the conclusion that the defects did not substantially impair the vehicle and were “separate and distinct” is inconsistent with the diagnostic evidence. The repeated appearance of the same fault code across multiple visits indicates a single, recurring nonconformity rather than unrelated issues. Since the arbitration decision, the vehicle has continued to experience the same problem and has been returned for additional repairs. The vehicle is now awaiting inspection by a manufacturer field engineer due to the dealership’s inability to diagnose or permanently repair the defect, further confirming that prior repair attempts have failed. In good faith, I contacted the manufacturer’s retention team to seek alternative resolution options, including replacement or trade-in, which were denied. Please confirm receipt of this request in writing and advise on next steps.

Tire monitoring system started with one tired then on to all tires one at a time came on. Then one at a time went off. Also the big display doesn't turn off when vehicle does. I have to turn truck back on and off again to get it to shut off. Just randomly shuts off going down the road. Passenger screen doesn't turn on most days. Also lights turn on by themselves in thr middle of thr night.

About 3 times already the vehicle have stalled after been stop at a traffic light. When I lift my foot from the brake pedal and hit the gas the vehicle does not move. I had to hit the brakes and put it in park and then drive again for it to go. The last time yesterday I was on a hill and the vehicle went back when I tried to hit the gas. I took it to the dealer on Nov 19, and they kept it for four days and did not repair it.

Headlights and parking lights shut completely off while driving. Not just a flash. They turn off and come back on while slowing down. Not only are we driving in total darkness but other drivers think we are blinking lights and turn or pull in front of us. Truck was bought new in April 2025. Has been at dealership for over 120 days. They don't seem to be able to fix and won't give us a replacement. They seem to thinking that driving without lights is not a safety issue. Just in short time we actually had possession of it . I personally had to take invasive action twice from a pull out and a vehicle turning left in front of me. Wife also had to take invasive action to prevent a collision. Now she is scared to drive her own vehicle.

Date: November 12, 2025 Vehicle: 2025 Ram 1500 Big Horn 3.0 Dealer: Frank Boucher Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Janesville – 4001 Milton Ave, Janesville, WI 53546 I have been experiencing ongoing electrical and instrument cluster failures with my 2025 Ram 1500 Big Horn 3.0 since purchase. The most serious issue is a recurring message: “Warning Light Illumination Cannot Be Shown – Service Required.” This means the cluster cannot guarantee display of safety alerts such as the check engine, airbag, brake, or oil pressure lights. This is a major safety hazard because I may not be warned of a system failure while driving. The truck also shows false “Trailer Light Out” warnings when no trailer is connected, indicating a fault in the Body Control Module (BCM) or CAN bus communication. This may cause incorrect trailer or brake-light behavior, putting other drivers at risk if brake or turn-signal lighting fails to operate properly. It also displays a false “Too Much Oil” warning despite normal levels, and the 3.0 engine has no dipstick, preventing manual verification. The truck has also failed to start multiple times with both the remote fob and manual ignition. On November 12, 2025, it would not start at all; after several attempts, it started with the check engine light briefly on, then it turned off on its own. I have brought the vehicle to the dealer twice. Technicians confirmed Dodge/Stellantis is aware of the defect but said no repair or software update currently exists. The issue has been reproduced and documented. Based on symptoms and dealer feedback, this is likely a BCM or instrument cluster communication fault within the vehicle’s CAN network, affecting ignition, lighting, and safety indicator functions. It directly violates FMVSS 101 (controls and displays) and poses a serious road-safety risk. I request a full NHTSA investigation and recall for this defect, as it affects multiple Ram 1500 models and leaves drivers unaware of critical system failures.

The components that are malfunctioning is the windshield wipers (won't turn off), and the windshield wiper fluid won't work either, the turn signals (won't turn on), no high beams when this happens, my monitor will say something about no SOS calls, and something about the airbags not working. I've had to remove the fuse for the windshield wipers to stop them from scratching up my windshield when it's not raining, but I have no turn signals still so both not working is a huge safety risk to me and others. I took it to 3 different dealers, Council Bluffs, Iowa, they couldn't find anything and weren't interested unless I was buying a vehicle, then Denver, Co, they had it for like 3 or 4 days, they said because I disconnected the battery they couldn't find any codes, so that was a waste of time, but they did see I needed a transmission flush and oil change, so I ended up driving it back to the dealer I bought this POS from in Killeen, TX, they said it was the SCCM and that it needed to be replaced, so I waited like 4 or 5 days, when they said the vehicle was ready, i went to pick it up, I got like a mile away, and guess what the windshield wipers came on and I had no turn signals. This problem comes and goes, but it can happen at anytime while I'm driving. I bought this RAM in May of this year, this shouldn't be happening. All the dealer could say was sorry this is happening, that's not what any consumer want's to hear especially when it is a serious safety issue. These issues started at the end of July 2025 just over 2 months after I bought the vehicle, and are still currently happening.

My speedometer is off by 9mph while traveling 70mph. When I purchased my vehicle new from the dealer, they had already installed bigger tires. I noticed that my speedometer showed 70mph and my gps showed 79mph. I took it to the dealer and they showed me where they had programed the new tire size in the computer but it did not adjust my speedometer. The service manager said its withing normal limits. I have been pulled over twice for "speeding" when my speedometer said 58mph and the cop said he clocked me at 65mph. I feel like this could be a saftey issue for potentially speeding in unsafe zones such as construction or school zones without knowing it.

On [XXX], while driving my 2025 Ram 1500 Laramie at approximately 60 mph on a dark rural road, the truck suddenly stalled without warning. The engine shut off, but all lights and electrical systems initially remained powered. I shifted into Neutral and attempted to restart while coasting, at which point the truck completely lost electrical power — headlights, dash, ignition button, and interior lighting all went dead. I initially thought I might have accidentally cycled the ignition button off, but repeated attempts to restart had no response. As I rolled to a stop, the vehicle automatically shifted itself into Park, causing a sudden and violent stop. Once stationary, the truck restarted normally as if nothing had happened. Prior to this event, there were multiple related issues: – On [XXX], the truck would crank but not start for about 30–40 minutes before finally starting normally. – On [XXX], a check engine light appeared during an hour drive to LAX. After parking and restarting, the light disappeared. – On September 29, 2025, I took the truck to Crown Dodge in Ventura County, CA, where a wireless OBD-II scan found no codes. I was advised to return if the problem persisted. – A few months prior, the truck stalled at low speed when pulling forward from a stop in a parking lot. The [XXX] incident was extremely dangerous, leaving me completely unpowered and invisible to oncoming traffic at night. These repeated, escalating failures suggest a serious intermittent electrical or control system defect that could result in a crash or injury. The dealer has not responded to my attempts to contact them on October 13, 2025. I was able to get ahold of their receptionist but get sent to voicemails when transferred. Vehicle has been to the dealer numerous times they’ve changed the batteries. The truck will not start after it sits for 24 hours. The batteries are dead. Chrysler will not do anything about it. The dealership doesn’t know how to fix it. It’s been at the dealership on and off for almost 3 months now getting no answers or satisfaction. Truck is brand new.

The digital instrument cluster failed. All telemetry is shown on this cluster including speed, fuel level, rpm, odometer and more. The cluster was going totally black every two minutes and it would disable cruise, lane departure warning, blind spot warning and the check engine light was on. There was no indication prior that there was a problem, it just all of a sudden went black and beeped. Then it would come back after 5 seconds and do it again two minutes later. Also my odometer wasn't working or updating the miles. The dealer confirmed the cluster needed to be replaced. It sat at the dealer for 96 days before the repair was made.

Bought 2025 Dodge Ram on 9/9/24. Since then I have had it into the shop 10+ times. There is a check engine light that comes on. Engine runs VERY rough and erratic. Had issues driving away from a stop light, chugging, lack of power. Making a left hand turn is taking my life in my hands! Each time at the dealership, they run the codes. P0300 is the primary. They just say its a known issue. Manufacture is working on it. IT HAS BEEN OVER A YEAR NOW!! They have never actually done anything to the vehicle other than run diagnostics and turn off the light. In fact the last time I picked up the vehicle 9/12/25, they didn't even turn off the light. Tech said, "whats the point?" I have elevated this with the manufacture Case94136984. There reply was that its not dangerous and a fix is coming. Have you ever tried to make a left hand turn and the truck stops and starts chugging??? Even the dealership stated this IS a safety concern. Question of the day: This is a 2025 Dodge Ram. Are they STILL selling these vehicles with this known issue??? If they have fixed it in new sells, then FIX MINE! I have records of each time the light has come on, had it into the dealership, and been turned away because "there's nothing we can do, Dodge wont let us do more"

My 2025 Ram 1500 Big Horn, ~6,000 miles) experienced a steering-assist failure and then a ruptured coolant hose that sprayed coolant over electronics. Dealer (Hendrick Hoover) refused warranty service and instructed me to leave their property. Ram Customer Care told me to drive the unsafe truck home while my child was onboard. The vehicle is now inoperable and unsafe. I have photos and video of the leak and the dealer refusing service. I request an urgent safety investigation and that NHTSA notify Stellantis that my vehicle presents a clear safety risk.

Driving on the highway with cruise control set, heard a beep and looked at my instrument cluster. Cluster went blank, cruise control turned off, lane management turned off. Then another beep turned on instrument panel and now was frozen at 0 as I was driving at highway speed. Next I was stopped at the off ramp and instrument panel said I was doing 57. I have videos of it happening. And it is in a constant frozen to reboot stage

This vehicle has less than 3,000 miles on it and has been in the shop at least three times for a recurring issue with the transmission "lunging" and "clunking hard upon down shift and upshift (automatic). The electrical system and computer are confused and cause the vehicle to literally stop and not engage in gear while driving! Today, the truck was in DRIVE awhile I was sitting at a light in heavy traffic. When I hit the gas at light change, the truck revved up but did not go! I was almost hit from behind as I had no brake lights indicated. Additionally, I kept getting a flashing gear selector indicator knob saying to put the TRUCK IN PARK AND SELECT THE DRIVE OPTION. I did but it still wouldn't go. I then got a software update light on the screen and the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT came on. I finally had to literally wave people around me in traffic as I was stalled out. I turned the truck off, restarted and it moved forward BUT at a high RPM. I have parked the truck but the dealer service is full up until late in the week and RAM CARE representatives were foreign and did not speak English well (I could not clearly understand them in my emergency call). Dealer is unwilling to act decisively to a life or death situation (opinion mine). SO we need to ensure we don't get killed or injured (God forbid) and IF there is a serious incident with this vehicle, there is documentation to attest it has been "serviced" several times for the electrical system fluctuating, the transmission dropping, and the engine not engaging the power train while driving. Every time my wife sits in her passenger seat the SOS warning goes off like it’s trying to call for help, but the call doesn’t go through. Thankfully because there is never a problem, and now the airbag warning is saying it’s not working. Our dealership said the part needed was on back order and they couldn’t get it any faster unless we called customer support. Which is what I thought they were! It was then expedited. On top of all this we are traveling from clear across the country.

Coasting (last time I was doing 45 on a side road with my foot barely on the gas) and the truck gauges all reset to zero at once and the D button for Drive starts flashing. Try pressing the gas and you are neutral. Everything comes back on instantly but you are now in a flashing D mode (basically neutral) rolling in traffic. Loss of powertrain. It has happened 4 times now. Someone will die over this. Ram dealer now has my truck for the second time now. Updates did not fix it. Sounds like the same problem they are having with the Grand Cherokee as it is the same Hurricane motor.

Purchased a 2025 RAM 1500 TUNGSTEN on [XXX]. Within a week of purchase, the blind spot monitors, forward collision monitors, and the emergency braking all quick working. The first attempt to fix was replacing wiring. This stopped it for a week before they were back on. Goes back into shop and replace and fully charge batteries and again it lasted about a week. Two more trips to shop (3rd and 4th visits) for same issues with more "quick fixes". Fifth attempt to fix took a couple weeks and had a module replaced. which lasted for about 3 weeks. After a trip to Florida in April it had to go in to shop again for the same issues. This time is spent 7 weeks in the shop, replaced multiple modules and other trial and error pieces before it was "fixed" again. Got vehicle back in June and it ran good until last week(end of August). Now every light on my dash is on. None of the safety features are working(airbags, emergency braking, front/rear monitors, traction control, 4x4 system, air ride suspension, etc...). Even the power steering has gone out this time. So now it is back in the shop for the 8th total time in 9 months of ownership. This will be the 4th or 5th star case thats been opened on it and I have completely lost faith in the vehicles ability to be fixed and even more so lost on the ability for RAM(Stellantis and Customer Care) to be able to fix it at all. My 2025 ram 1500 Tradesman pick up with only 600 miles would not start. I called roadside and had the vehicle towed to Wallace Chrysler Jeep Dodge ram dealership in Stuart Florida. Two days later, they called and said the issue was with possibly the starter or the E torque mechanism. Collin from Wallace service calls later to say the truck was ready. I didn’t drive very far for the truck to turn off and put itself in Park. The truck goes back to Wallace. Collin calls the next day to say the truck had a low hybrid battery voltage. At this point I don’t trust the safety of this vehicle.

2025 Dodge Ram 1500 with 741 miles began showing "Warning Light Illumination Unavailable Service Required". From what I have seen in numerous Ram forums this is a common occurrence. At this time I am told Ram does not have a solution for this. My concern is that no one at the dealership or Ram customer care can tell me what warning lights I may not be able to see when this warning appears. Vehicle us currently at the dealership where it has been for almost three weeks. I have been informed that the dash manufacturer has filed bankruptcy leaving consumers without a repair or replacement choice at this time. Again, Ram cannot tell me what lights I may not see (tire pressure warning, safety feature disablement, ABS, etc).

I have owned this vehicle 10 months and for the third time now it is having the same reoccurring electrical issue. The first time the check engine light came on went to the dealer they hooked it up said just a battery drive it you will be fine. They turned the code error off. Left dealership drove to Home Depot and went to leave got in push the start button and the truck started making grinding noises and every error message for every safety device began cycling on the dash. After several minutes it all just stopped and the truck was dead no responses could not unlock or lock doors. Could not shift or do anything. It had to be towed to dealership. After two and a half weeks they said it was repaired some value was stuck open and drained battery and shorted everything out. They replaced valve and batteries. Within two months check engine light came on and vehicle was dead again. This time was able to jumpstart and took it back to dealership. Left it there they had it two weeks and said it was the battery. Claimed could have been faulty battery. Now here it is another two months and check engine light came on, truck wouldn’t start. Got a jump then every safety system error messages started cycling through again. Immediately had to disconnect both batteries to make it stop. Reconnected drive home to where it is dead as a paperweight. Called dealership and they say bring it in a week and half from now and they will get to it when they can. There is something majorly wrong with this truck. It is unreliable and not safe to drive. 100% lemon that I am stuck with due to negative equity that is growing as time passes. All the forums have people repeating same issues with their trucks as well. A coworker has same truck 1400 miles and his check engine light just came on as well. Please investigate and force them to provide a real solution for this year model truck.

I purchased a brand-new 2025 RAM 1500 Laramie, and from day one it has been a nightmare. Only TWO days after delivery, the truck completely died and had to be towed back to the dealership. Since then, it has been in for repairs FOUR separate times. The last time was [XXX], when it was towed again — and here we are, almost TWO MONTHS later, with my truck still sitting at RAM Greenway, untouched, no repairs, no updates, no solution. Nobody is working on it, and now they have the audacity to try to charge me for the rental car while they hold my truck hostage. Meanwhile, I’m still paying the monthly payment for a brand-new vehicle I can’t even drive. RAM Customer Care is absolutely useless — they just send copy-paste updates saying “the dealer is working on the vehicle” when clearly NOTHING is being done. Zero accountability, zero urgency, zero customer service. This situation has caused me extreme stress and financial loss. UConnect "requires service" message since 2nd month of ownership. When this error activates, the Emergency call function becomes unoperational. Also, at times, the error popup comes up when I am backing up into a busy street. This is a critical safety issue!! Multiple trips to the dealer since last year. The issue is not fixed. I only have a few brief seconds to see my speed and fuel level before it freezes and goes blank. This is extremely dangerous.

Every restart forces the odometer to reset and display 40 miles, erasing the accurate accumulated mileage. Simultaneously, the vehicle fails to retain any infotainment or vehicle-settings data (radio presets, climate preferences, drive modes, seat/mirror memory). This occurs 100 % of the time with every ignition cycle and has happened on every drive since purchase. Safety Concern A rebooting cluster distracts the driver, removes access to critical information (speedometer, warning lights), and falsifies odometer readings—potentially masking future maintenance intervals and impairing resale/title accuracy. The loss of settings can also disable previously selected safety aids (e.g., adaptive cruise presets, lane-keep parameters) without the driver’s knowledge. I was parked and attempted to leave and put my truck on drive. The shifter known would not go into drive mode. I kept getting an error code to “Service Shifter” after multiple attempts the truck went inky drive mode and I drove home with the error code to “Service Shifter”. When I arrived home to back into my drive way, the truck would not go into reverse. I sat in the middle of the street for an hour before the shifter released into reverse with the same error code. I drove the truck to the dealership where it was purchased and was advised not to drive the truck due to the danger of the shifter and the truck could possibly stay on drive/reverse mode when driving. My truck had been at the dealership for 15 days and I have been told that the shifter has been replaced 3 times, and the electrical relay is not responding. I am told that the Ram specialists are trying to determine what the problem is and have been contacted and can connect to my trucks electrical system. I was told that a Transmission Control Module is being ordered for replacement. The Service Dept Manager stated that this is a new problem with the 2025 Dodge Ram and ALL the Ram Specialists are baffled.

I purchased this new vehicle on the morning of Saturday, June 14, 2025. At the time of purchase the vehicle had just 25 miles on it. The drive home from the dealership was about 87 miles. A few miles from home, the truck began to shake violently when the gas pedal was pressed. The engine or transmission light was on. The faster the truck went, the harder it would shake. The shaking stopped when there was no pressure on the gas pedal. The shaking was so severe that it was very difficult to drive over 30 mph. I called my salesman and he recommended that I try to “reset” the vehicle by stepping away from the vehicle so it cannot link with the FAB for 10-15 minutes. I did so and came back. The truck started fine but it was shaking while idling. There was no difference driving the truck after the “reset”. It would still shake severely when the gas pedal was pressed. We also discovered that the ring around the Start/Stop button was loose. A tow truck to picked up this vehicle on the same day it was purchased and towed it back to the dealership. The dealer had the truck from Saturday, June14, 2025 and they returned it on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, stating there was a "circuit pin" that was broken. The very next day on Thursday, June 19, 2025, the check engine light came on. Pressing the brake pedal made an odd sound, like bubbles or a gargling noise, even while idling. This noise was not there before. While driving the vehicle, the shaking was very mild but the truck shifted hard. Once, when I was accelerating, there was a loud “pop” that occurred in the truck. Immediately, the dash displayed “See User Manual for Proper Oil and Fuel” and it never went off. After the pop, the truck had a very hard time increasing speed. When I drove off from a stop sign or after I was stopped at a traffic light, the engine would rev high, 3000 – 5000 RPM, and the truck would not move for a few seconds. Then it would very slowly increase speed.

2025 Ram 1500 V6 eTorque hydraulic tensioner for MGU belt caused belt to break while traveling out of state from NY to NC. This caused the battery waning light to come on and also the CEL. Vehicle would not charge and would not run properly, all advanced safety features diminished. Vehicle brought directly to Dodge dealership in Laurel MD during incident. Vehicle was repaired on 6/6/2025 at Dodge dealership in MD. While traveling home to NC from MD on [XXX] Amp meter was not functioning, vehicle would not shift out of 7th gear with cruise control on, gas mileage has decreased to 10-12 miles per gallon at highway speeds and vehicle has poor engine power, all while driving on [XXX]. Total mileage on vehicle is 6600 miles. Ram care is no help, Case # with Ram care is [XXX]. Have not been able to speak with anyone about a resolution, nor have I been able to speak with the assigned case manager at all despite numerous phone calls, voicemails and emails. I am leasing a 2025 Ram 1500 Bighorn from Stellantis. In the less than a year I have owned this it has been to 2 dealerships over 5 times. I hired Handy Law Offices to file a lemon claim . Stellantis was supposed to respond by May 26 and here it is June 9 and they still refuse to acknowledge the problems. And to top it off, I found a positive wire with a split open covering and Summit Automotive in Fond du Lac Wisconsin refuses to fix it, even though they sold me the truck. In talking to other dealerships, this is a shorting hazard and possible fire, but they said Summit has to fix it. I want to know what legal avenues I have to get rid of this truck. I have learned that more and more of this year truck is also experiencing bad problems that Stellantis refuses to acknowledge. And if my truck catches fire there will be additional lawsuits for negligence against Summit Automotive.

My wife and kids were locked inside the truck and couldn't get the doors to unlock. They tried both driver side and passenger side door lock buttons and even tried locking and unlocking the door again but it was still stuck for a while. It didn't matter if the engine was on or off. They were eventually able to get out.

Vehicle was being driven at highway speed at about 0555. There were no warning lights including no battery or low voltage warnings. Suddenly every warning light came on and all systems failed. Engine had stopped and computer had shifted vehicle into neutral. Power steering and power brakes had failed as well. At least one driver side rear tail light went out (I think forward headlights as well but not sure). The vehicle was still coasting at highway speed!!! Engine would not restart. I was extremely lucky to not be in an accident as the vehicle was suddenly essentially undrivable while traveling at a high rate of speed. I was lucky to be able to get it to side of road safely but in different traffic conditions this likely would have caused an accident as it was impossible to increase speed, and extremely difficult to steer or brake. The car is at dealers for repairs. I suspect this is a failure of the PCM software and eTorque system similar to the recall put in place to 2019-2023 ETorque models with the V8 (mine is V6 and a 2025). THIS IS A HUGE DANGER AND RISK. With no warning the vehicle becomes undrivable while it is being driven!! Had I needed to stop quickly I could not. Had I needed to turn quickly to avoid something I could not. Had I needed to accelerate to avoid being rear ended, I could not.

Vehicle arriving and parked in parking spot. Occupants tried to leave vehicle and doors would not unlock. Had to use keyfob whicle still inside of vehicle. Door unlock buttons were not working to unlock doors. Only front doors unlocked but rear doors remained locked trapping 1 occupant in the rear. Driver exited the vehicle and the alarm went off. Driver had to try multiple times to shut off alarm. Driver entered vehicle and vehicle did not recognize key fob. Rear occupant was not able to exit vehicle as rear doors would not unlock. Rear occupant had to climb over center consul to exit vehicle. Keyfob # 2 had to be retrieved from house and brought to vehicle in order to unlock vehicle. After 30 minutes keyfob number 1 was functioning normally.

I purchased a brand new truck, and within a week it died while I was driving. Check engine light came on, follow by battery power saving mode light, automatic stop/stop service disabled, touch screen for radio became unresponsive. I quickly turned settings to look at battery voltage while I was trying to pull over off the road. Saw it drop from 11 volts down to 9 volts while I was driving. As I was turning into a parking lot to get somewhere safe the power to the truck turned off, and I lost power steering. Truck came to a stop in a parking but I was blocking traffic. Tow truck driver was able to jump the battery to get it onto a tow truck. I had the vehicle towed back to the dealer. They scanned the truck, and there were alot of codes thrown. They have been talking to Stellantis Engineers to figure out the problem. I was told by dealer that for certain it is a broken wire causing the batteries not to charge. That wasn't it. I am now being told it is the battery control module, and they have ordered parts. I have checked ram forums, and there are a lot of people reporting similar issues of brand new trucks dying within a few hundred miles of purchasing. replacing the batteries, and alternators. However, the truck dies again shortly after.

I was backing up in traffic and when I turned the truck to drive it would not shift into drive. The truck reved up like it was in neutral or park and wouldn’t move forward. I had to put the truck in reverse again and then back in drive a second time to get it to shift into drive. This incident almost caused a wreck, because the truck would not shift into drive and move. The traffic coming from behind had to stop to keep from hitting me because the truck wouldn’t shift into drive and move forward.

When I first bought my truck, the engine had a surging problem at low idle when it was cold. Once it heated up, the problem went away, so I didn’t pay too much attention to it. Then at about 4,000 miles, my truck began running very erratically. Then soon after, my check engine light came on. I took it to a dealership for warranty repair. Their code scanner revealed several misfire codes along with other related codes. This issue seems to be very common for the 2025 RAM with the new twin turbo 6-cylinder engine as noted by many people in online vehicle groups for this truck that have same experience. RAM has acknowledged the issue but doesn’t have a fix in almost 6 months later. My truck has been in service at the dealership for over 40 days and I have made several calls to check the status. Each time they say they cannot resolve. They say they have been in contact with the manufacturers “tech line” and have followed all their recommendations, but nothing has worked and there are no other resolutions available. There is nothing they can do. Due to the misfire code and the check engine light is on, the truck cannot be used safely on the road due to erratic performance. Sometimes on the highway, maximum speed will drop to 40 mph. Misfire codes also present a problem with potential engine damage. Also, I am obviously worried about my state SAFETY inspection that is due in another 6 months that would certainly fail leaving me unable to legally operate the vehicle. Since this seems to be a mysterious issue that Stellantis/RAM is unable to understand, much less repair, I am worried about potential long-term issues with this truck. Stellantis will not publicly state how many occurrences there are for this situation, but if online groups are any indication, it is a large number.

Now I am not receiving any paperwork for supposed services done I was told the paperwork will be mailed to me. I'm uncertain if Duluth Dodge is unable or unwilling to solve the problem. At this point, I'm getting lip service, and not getting the issue fixed. I have been in at least 6 times with my new 2025 Dodge Ram.

I purchased the truck on 10/19/25. Since that time, I have had to call roadside assistance three times and have had to leave it in the shop on two separate occasions totaling well over 30 days. The truck still doesn't have 5k miles. Interestingly, the service record and updates that was provided on the app has been wiped clean. Now, they are offering to pay me for the "inconvenience", but I'm not sure I'm OK with that suggestion. I've been a very loyal Ram owner, this is the fifth one in a row I've had. However, this truck really scares me due how unreliable it's been thus far. Luckily, the failures haven't put myself or others at risk, at least not yet.

On Thursday [XXX] I was driving my new 1500 Big horn ram truck. I only had it for 6 days at that point. I started noticing a noise coming from inside the dashboard and the check engine light came on. I kept driving as usual because i figured the light would go off. All of a sudden a big metal ring the size of my palm fell on my shoe and all the warning lights came on the dash ( the brake failure light, adaptive cruise control unavailable light, parking sensor failure light, check engine light, traction control malfunction light, brake system light, abs failure light). When i tried to brake, the brakes went all the way down and felt very spongy. I had to pump the brakes just so it would stop. So I pulled over into a parking spot turned off the truck and started it back up. The truck started up, but all the lights were still on. I tried to shift into drive but it wouldn't go in gear. I think is because the brake weren't going far enough to push whatever sensor allows the shifter to shift. I tried pumping the brakes and shifting and it worked. So i drove the truck home very carefully and parked it in my driveway. The next morning I called my sales man and left him a msg. He called me later that evening and asked me to bring it in on Monday morning. I did not use the truck during the weekend because it felt very unsafe to drive. On Monday morning i drove it to the dealership and left it there. They did give me a loaner vehicle. 2 days later I got a call from Dave the service manager and he let me know that the ring that fell on my foot holds a brake pedal in place and that they were going to replace the entire brake pedal assembly, the abs module, the brake booster and some ecm (i didn't understand which one). This truck has been unusable now for 7 days and I've only owned it for 13 days. It's been in the shop for 5 days now. On [XXX] I turned on a [XXX] in Amelia Co Va when I pressed the gas to get up to speed, all of the sudden the headlights, dashboard lights, interior lights go dark. Warning lights on the dashboard were flashing. I put on my hazards and pulled safely into a convenience store parking lot and shut my truck off. I waited a few minutes and turned it back on and everything came on along with the check engine light. I got back to Richmond safely and checked to see the code was for the check engine light which was a P0336. On [XXX] I went back to check the code and it was stored and the check engine light was off. On my way back home I was on [XXX] just north of Lexington VA and went to pass a slower car and the same thing happen. I was able to pull off to the right side shoulder and I turned the truck off and waited a few and turned it back on. Check engine light was on. I drove it to Roanoke and stop to get gas and check the code for the check engine light which U1401. After filling up the check engine light went off. I took it to Shelor Motor Mile on Monday 11-04-2024. They put their diagnostic tool on it and it spit out 24 different codes. They had a backlog of appointments and could not even start to address the issue for 2 weeks. I took it to the dealership that I bought it from on Monday 11-11-2024. Nobody can tell me why or what happen. One time I understand it might have been a glitch a second time it happens I consider it a safety issue that needs to be addressed. Day 5 my check engine light came on. Code was showing multiple misfires in multiple cylinders. I cleared the code. Following week same thing happened again. By the weekend my battery was dead, when I got jumped, my dash said there was a problem with blind spot detection and the arrows on both side mirrors were stuck on. I manually shut them off and went on my way. Check engine light comes on showing low voltage. Dealership changes battery but says it’s odd to have the misfire codes but doesn’t address it. 3 days later check engine light is on again for multiple codes for misfirings. Take it to the dealer again where it’s been sitting for the last week and a half. I get told today Chrysler has no fix for it and is closing the case and I can pick it up. I’m sorry, what?? I’m supposed to just take home a non correctly functioning $62,000 truck I haven’t even made the 1st payment on? So it can what, strand me on the side of the road??
