The contact owns a 2011 Ram 3500. The contact stated that on several occasions while attempting to make a right turn, the steering wheel seized. No warning light was illuminated. The failure occurred on several occasions. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed but the cause of the failure was not yet determined. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 20,000.

The passenger side tire rod in the steering linkage that connects from one tire to the other fell out of the adjusting tube it was screwed into. This caused both wheels to canter out for a total loss of steering. I had just refueled and was going 2mph turning out of the gas station. Had I been back on the single lane hwy at 50mph the loss of steering would have resulted in a head on collision or dumping me into the forest trees. Having worked on similar front end parts in the past I find this absurd that those parts would simply pull apart, even if it were involved in striking a curb (which was not the case here). I have asked to repair facility to save the parts.

Steering wheel locked while vehicle was being driven at approximately 60mph. All other systems functioned normally. With about 2' of play in locked steering wheel vehicle made it to road shoulder. Restarted vehicle 3 times but steering wheel remained locked. Put car in "D" and "R" successfully and vehicle would move normally but steering wheel remained locked. All other electrical and mechanical systems function normally. No warning lights on dash were displayed. Called LIthia Dodge in Bryan/College Station(where vehicle was eventually towed). They suggested disconnect battery for 15" and system might reset. It did not. I disconnected Battery a 2nd time for about a minute. Steering still locked. Vehicle towed to Lithia where they willmlook at it Tuesday September 7, 2021. This had never happened before.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 RAM 3500. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO STEER THE VEHICLE, THE POWER STEERING WOULD FAIL OR THE STEERING WHEEL WOULD JERK IN ONE DIRECTION AND SEIZE IN THAT POSITION. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM NORTH SAVANNAH (LOCATED AT 1100 CHATHAM PKWY, SAVANNAH, GA 31405, 912-712-7900) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE POWER STEERING PUMP AND THE POWER STEERING COOLER FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE CONTACT REACHED OUT TO THE MANUFACTURER, BUT DID NOT GET A RESPONSE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 130,000. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN.

I HAVE A 2011 RAM 3500 DUALLY CUMMINS TRUCK. IF I HIT A BUMP IN THE ROAD AT HIGHWAY SPEED IT WILL START A VERY VIOLENT SHAKE THAT CAUSED ME TO VEER INTO THE NEXT LANE. THIS HAS HAPPENED MANY TIMES TOWING MY RV OR NOT TOWING. THIS TRUCK HAS 61,000 MILES ON IT. IT HAS THE TIE ROD RECALL DONE, THE STEERING GEAR BOX REPLACED, SEVERAL ALIGNMENTS AND THE PROBLEM CONTINUES. THIS TRUCK IS VERY DANGEROUS TO DRIVE AT HIGHWAY SPEED ( 65 MPH ). IT PASSED ALIGNMENT AT BRANDON DODGE AND BIG O TIRE COMPANY. I AM NOW AFRAID TO PULL MY RV AND EVEN DRIVE THIS TRUCK ON ANY HIGHWAY. I HAVE DONE MUCH RESEARCH ON THIS ISSUE AND CHRYSLER CLAIMS THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN FIXED. THESE TRUCKS ARE BUILT AND CLAIM TO BE ABLE TO TOW VERY HEAVY LOADS. THEY ARE EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TO DRIVE AND THE ONLY WAY TO GET THE SHAKING TO STOP IS TO SLOW TO 25 TO 30 MILES PER HOUR WHILE BEING ON AN INTERSTATE HIGHWAY. THIS A VERY DANGEROUS PROBLEM THAT FIAT CHRYSLER HAS CLAIMED TO BE FIXED, BUT ITS NOT FIXED THROUGH THE CURRENT RECALL. PLEASE HELP MY SELF AS WELL AS MANY HEAVY DUTY CHRYSLER OWNERS TO GET THIS PROBLEM REPAIRED. THANKYOU!

COPY OF THE TITLE FRONT AND BACK WAS FAXED TO 844-840-3737 PER THEIR REQUEST. A 10 DAY PAYOFF WAS FAXED BY USAA. AS OF TODAY 11/09/18, 2:30PM DODGE AGENT HAS NOT CONTACTED ME TO TURN THIS VEHICLE IN. NOVEMBER 1ST I SPOKE WITH SOMEONE AT 800-583-1403, REF# 57174908 (CASE NUMBER) AND THEY ASSURED ME THAT LINDA (XXX) RECEIVED THE PAPERWORK 10/19/18 AND THAT IT WOULD SETTLE SOON. I WAS ADVISED BY SOMEONE AT DODGE AND ALSO JASMINE THAT THE CHECK HAD ALREADY BEEN CUT. JASMINE ALSO CALLED AND ASSURED ME THAT WE WOULD SETTLE BY FRIDAY 11/09/18. I CALLED DODGE TODAY AND NOW THEY SAY THE CHECK IS IN PROCESS. I REMINDED THEM THAT ALL THEIR CALLS ARE RECORDED AND THAT I WAS REQUESTING TO SPEAK WITH A SUPERVISOR. THERE IS EXCESSIVE PLAY IN THE STEERING. THE TRUCK CONSTANTLY WANDERS WHEN DRIVEN DOWN THE ROAD. CONSTANT STEERING CORRECTION IS REQUIRED. THE EXCESSIVE PLAY IS APPROXIMATELY 3 INCHES OF STEERING WHEEL INPUT BEFORE THE WHEELS START TO TURN (THIS APPLIES WHETHER STATIONARY OR BEING DRIVEN).

LOST MY BRAKES AND STEERING WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE HWY DOING 65. LOST ALL BRAKE POWER AND POWER STEERING.THE MOTOR RUNS BUT HAVE NO BRAKES AND POWER STEERING. LOOKING AT IT I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS HAD THIS PROBLEM. I HAVE 2 YOUNG KIDS AND THEY COULD HAVE BEEN BADLY HURT IF I WASN'T ABLE TO MAN HANDLE THE TRUCK. POWER STEERING ASSIST IS NOT WORKING. WHEN YOUR MOVING SLOW IN THE VIHICLE IT'S VERY HARD TO TURN THE STEERING WHEEL, WHEN I TOOK MY DODGE RAM 3500 IN FOR AN OIL CHANGE THE DEALERSHIP SAID THAT IT WAS BECAUSE THE POWER STEERING ASSIST IS NOT WORKING AND THAT IS WHY YOU ARE UNABLE TO TURN THE WHEEL WHILE SITTING OR MOVING VERY SLOW. SO IT MAKES IT ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO PULL OUT OF A PARKING SPOT. I'M A DISABLED PERSON SO IT'S VERY DIFFICULT TO PULL IN AND OUT OF PARKING SPOTS, SO I DRIVE AROUND TO FIND SPOTS THAT CAN BE PULLED STRAIGHT INTO AND OUT OF.

WHILE REVERSING AT APPROXIMATELY 5 MPH AND TURNING THE STEERING WHEEL, THE CONTACT HEARD A LOUD POP NOISE AND OBSERVED THAT THE TIE ROD FAILED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. WE WERE NEVER CONTACTED ABOUT THE RECALLS OR THE CONSENT ORDER-----WE ACCIDENTALLY FOUND OUT! WE HAVE HAD SMOKE COMING FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT TWICE, ONCE WHILE REFUELING AND ONCE WHILE THE TRUCK WAS IN MOTION. WE HAVE NOTICED A BAD AND DANGEROUS VIBRATION FROM THE STEERING! EVEN THOUGH WE CONTACTED FCA REGARDING THESE PROBLEMS, AND MY REQUEST FOR A COPY OF THE BUYBACK LETTER, I HAVE RECEIVED NOTHING EXCEPT COPIES OF THE THREE (3) RECALLS, WITH N49 BEING NOTED AS THE MOST DANGEROUS! FCA PUT ME IN TOUCH WITH THE FCA RESOLUTION CENTER, WHICH IS A 3RD PARTY VENDOR FOR FCA, AND THEY ARE GIVING ME THE "RUN A ROUND"! A WEEK AFTER PURCHASING THIS VEHICLE, MY WIFE COMPLAINED ABOUT THE STEERING NOT FEELING RIGHT. AS I CONTINUE TO USE THE VEHICLE I NOTICE SOME VIBRATION ON THE STEERING WHEEL, BUT DIDN'T THINK MUCH OF IT BEING A PROBLEM BECAUSE THIS IS OUR FIRST PICKUP TRUCK AND THE STEREOTYPE IS ALL PICKUP TRUCKS RIDE RUFF. NOW SOME TIME HAVE PAST AND A FEW THOUSAND MILES LATER THE STEERING VIBRATION IS GETTING WORSE AND NOW I'M STARTING TO SUSPECT SOMETHING IS WRONG. AS I WENT UNDERNEATH THE VEHICLE TO CHECK THE FRONT SUSPENSION I NOTICE THE NEW TIRES WHICH CAME WITH THE VEHICLE WHEN PURCHASE WAS COMPLETELY WORN ON THE INSIDE THREADS AFTER 8K MILES. I DID SOME RESEARCH ON THE NET TO FIND OUT THAT A LOT OF USERS OF THIS VEHICLE ARE EXPERIENCING WHAT'S KNOWN AS THE (DEPTH WOBBLE). I FIRST CALLED DODGE MFG. AND COMPLAINED ABOUT THIS ISSUE AND THEY INFORM ME THAT THIS IS AN ONGOING ISSUE. THEY TOLD ME TO BRING TO A DEALER AND GAVE ME A CASE #. I BROUGHT THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS PURCHASED. ALL THEY DID WAS A WHEEL ALIGNMENT WHICH THEY CHARGE ME AND SAID THEY WOULDN'T REPLACE THE TIRES. WELL THIS VEHICLE IS STILL DOING THE SAME THING! ONLY 40K MILES ON THIS VEHICLE AND WE REALLY ARE NOT HAPPY CAMPERS!

WHILE HAULING A LARGE LOAD OF HAY, I WAS TRAVELING AT LESS THAN 10MPH AS I WAS APPLYING THE BRAKES TO SLOW THE VEHICLE TO MAKE A RIGHT HAND TURN ON TO ANOTHER ROAD. WHEN I APPLIED THE BRAKES THE STEERING COMPLETELY WENT AWAY AND THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT TURN AT ALL. THE BRAKE PEDDLE WAS VERY STIFF AND THE BRAKES WERE NOT VERY RESPONSIVE. I WAS ABLE TO GET THE TRUCK STOPPED AS I WAS HEADING TOWARD ANOTHER VEHICLE ON THE ROAD. AFTER COMING TO A COMPLETE STOP AND BACKING THE VEHICLE UP THE STEERING RETURNED AND I WAS ABLE TO MAKE THE TURN. I TRAVELED APPROXIMATELY 2 MILES DOWN THE ROAD TO MY DESTINATION AT A VERY SLOW SPEED AND WHEN I APPLIED THE BRAKES TO TURN I LOST ALL STEERING AGAIN AND THE BRAKE PEDDLE WAS VERY STIFF AND NOT VERY RESPONSIVE. I PARKED THE VEHICLE AND HAVE NOT MOVED IT.

HAVE EXPERIENCED A WOBBLE IN THE STEERING SINCE NEW, ESPECIALLY WHEN BACKING. DEALER COULD NEVER DUPLICATE IT. WHILE BACKING TO THE RIGHT IN JULY IT REPEATED, FEELING LIKE A WHEEL WAS LOOSE. AGAIN, ON THE HIGHWAY ON A RIGHT HAND RAMP AT APPROXIMATELY 40MPH IT WAS SO SEVERE I HAD TO SLOW DOWN TO 15 MPH TO REGAIN CONTROL. EVERY RIGHT HAND TURN AFTERWARDS IT REPEATED, EVENTUALLY DOING IT IN BOTH RIGHT AND LEFT LANE CHANGES. DEALER INSPECTED AND DETERMINED THE FRONT STABILIZER WAS DEFECTIVE AND WAS REPLACED. TEST DRIVE INDICATED A SLIGHT WOBBLE, BUT IMPROVED. THE FOLLOWING WEEK THE PROBLEM RETURNED. I PARKED THE TRUCK AS UNSAFE AND CONTACTED THE DEALER AND TOOK IT IN ON THE NEXT MONDAY. UPON INSPECTION THE MECHANIC "COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM". I REFUSED TO TAKE IT BACK UNTIL THEY CORRECTED. THE DEALER KEPT IT UNTIL THURSDAY WHEN THEY THEN STATE THEY COULD NOW FEEL THE WOBBLE AND THE MECHANIC THOUGHT IT WAS THE FRONT AXLE HUBS AND PARTS WERE ORDERED. THE TRUCK WAS FINISHED ON THAT FRIDAY. THEY DEALER STATED THE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT U JOINTS WERE BOTH FROZEN AND WERE REPLACED. NOTE THERE IS A NOTICE ON THE ENGINE COWLING STATING THOSE JOINTS HAD TO BE REGULARLY LUBRICATED USING A NEEDLE GREASE FITTING. THE DEALER PERFORMING THE SERVICE SAYS IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO REACH THE SPOT WITHOUT DISASSEMBLY OF THE TRUCK FRAME. EVEN THOUGH RAM TRAINED MECHANICS AT DEALERS PERFORMED THE LUB PER THE SERVICE SCHEDULE IT APPARENTLY HAS NEVER BEEN CARED FOR. FROM THE NOTICE ON THE ENGINE IT IS OBVIOUS THAT RAM IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM AND INSTEAD OF CORRECTING THE DESIGN THEY PLACED A LABEL TELLING THE DEALER TO LUBRICATE AN INACCESSIBLE FITTING. THIS IS A DANGEROUS DEFECT IN THE VEHICLE.

BALL JOINTS STEERING STABILIZER TRACK BAR HAVE ALL BEEN REPLACED TRUCK HAD BEEN TO SHOP FOR ALIGNMENT. TIRES WERE PUT ON AROUND 90K AND TRUCK HAD AROUND 98K WHEN DEATH WOBBLE STARTED HAPPENING I DO NOT FEEL SAFE HAULING ANYTHING WITH THIS VEHICLE OR HAVING MY FAMILY RIDE WITH ME.

THE CONTACT INDEPENDENTLY REPLACED THE SHOCKS HOWEVER, THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE STEERING SHAFT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 77,000.

AROUND SEPTEMBER 2014 I WAS DRIVING 45 MPH. THE ROAD I WAS ON CURVED TO THE RIGHT. AS I WAS COMING OUT OF THE CURVE MY STEERING WHEEL WOULD NOT MOVE BACK THE THE CENTER POSITION. I HAD TO FORCE IT TO THE CENTER POSITION. A SAFETY RECALL WAS ISSUED BY DODGE TO CORRECT THE ISSUE. EVER SINCE THE THE REPAIR WAS MADE I HAVE HAD TO HAVE MY PICK UP ALIGNED TWICE. THE TRUCK NOW HAS 63000 MILES. NOT SURE WHAT IS GOING ON. I WILL STILL BUY RAM TRUCKS AS I AM A LOYAL CUSTOMER BUT I AM LITTLE LEERY OF THE STEERING SYSTEM ON THIS ONE.

THE UPPER STEERING HOSE INNER PLASTIC TUBE BECOMES LOOSE OR BREAKS AND LODGES INTO THE METAL FITTING WHICH CAUSES A LOUD HISSING NOISE UNDER THE STERRING WHEEL. BECAUSE IT IS ALSO CONNECTED TO THE BRAKES, THE PEDAL BECOMES UNSAFELY SOFT. DODGE/RAM NEEDS TO RECALL THIS AS IT A KNOWN ISSUE ALL OVER THE INTERNET AND BECOMES A REAL DANGER WHEN BRAKING HARD OR TOWING.

I'VE BEEN EXPERIENCING THIS "WOBBLE" OR VIBRATION/SHAKE ISSUE FOR ABOUT A YEAR IN THE FRONT END. WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE I HIT AN EXPANSION JOINT AND THE FRONT END SHOOK AND WOBBLED IN A WAY THAT DIDN'T SEEM RIGHT. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER THE NEXT DAY AND ASKED FOR A FULL INSPECTION. THEY SAID EVERYTHING WAS FINE. I CONTINUED TO DRIVE THE TRUCK AND EXPERIENCED THE ISSUE EVERY SO OFTEN AND IT KEPT GETTING WORSE. I THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE THE FRONT STEERING STABILIZER SO I CHANGED IT. NO DIFFERENCE. I CHANGED ALL 4 SHOCKS. NO DIFFERENCE. I THOUGHT MAYBE IT WAS THE TIRES WHICH WERE CLOSE TO THE END OF THEIR MILEAGE LIFE. STILL EXPERIENCED THE SAME ISSUE. I TOOK IT TO ANOTHER DEALER WHO INSPECTED IT AND SAID IT WAS THE TRACK BAR. I ASKED IF THE FAILURE COULD HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE TIE ROD RECALL AND WAS TOLD NO. THEY REPLACED THE PART WITH MY PERMISSION.THE STEERING SEEMED TIGHTER. AT FIRST IT SEEMED TO HAVE SOLVED THE ISSUE. A FEW MONTHS LATER I HIT AN EXPANSION JOINT AND GOT WHAT PEOPLE REFER TO AS THE "DEATH WOBBLE" - THE FRONT END SHOOK SO BAD I HAD TO SLOW DOWN TO ABOUT 30 MILES AND HOUR BEFORE IT SMOOTHED BACK OUT. I TOOK THE TRUCK BACK TO MY REGULAR DEALER. THEY KEPT MY TRUCK 4 DAYS - THEY SAID THEY TOOK IT OUT A FEW TIMES AND FINALLY EXPERIENCED THE ISSUE I REPORTED. THEY SAID THE DRAG LINK JOINTS WERE LOOSE. AGAIN I ASKED IF THIS COULD HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE TIE ROD RECALL AND WAS TOLD NO. AFTER A THOROUGH TEST DRIVE I STILL DON'T FEEL THE ISSUE IS FIXED - IT'S BETTER, BUT NOT GONE COMPLETELY. I AM HEADED BACK TO THE DEALER IN THE MORNING. I KNOW THE ROADS EVERYWHERE SUFFER FROM LACK OF REGULAR UPKEEP BUT I CANNOT UNDERSTAND HOW A TRUCK WITH LESS THAN 80,000 MILES COULD POSSIBLY NEED TO HAVE THESE PARTS REPLACED SO SOON - ESPECIALLY FOR THE PREMIUM PRICE I PAID FOR THE VEHICLE. *TR

THE CONSUMER AND HER HUSBAND DID NOT LIKE THE WAY, THE VEHICLE HANDLED AND STEERED. THE PROBLEM WAS ADDRESSED TO THE DEALER, AT WHICH TIME THEY WERE INFORMED IT WAS PROBABLY BECAUSE THE TRUCK WAS A DUALLY AND THEY WERE NOT USED TO DRIVING ONE AND IT WOULD TAKE SOME GETTING USED TO. APPROXIMATELY 2-3 WEEKS AFTER THE VISIT, THE CONSUMER AND HER HUSBAND RETURNED TO THE DEALER TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE HANDLING AND STEERING. THE DEALER PERFORMED AN ALIGNMENT. THEY DROVE THE TRUCK FOR A FEW WEEKS, AND THEY WERE STILL UNHAPPY. APRIL 2, 2012, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE WAS RETURNED TO THE DEALER. THE DEALER REPROGRAMMED THE ECM. A MONTH AFTER DRIVING THE VEHICLE, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED AGAIN. THE DEALER REPLACED THE INTAKE MANIFOLD HEATER AIR TEMP RELAY. THE DEALER THEN MADE AN ADJUSTMENT TO THE STEERING COLUMN. THE CONSUMER DROVE THE VEHICLE FOR 2 MORE MONTHS, THEN THE TIE ROD BROKE ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE . THE DEALER REPLACED THE OUTER TIE ROD END AND RE-ALIGNED THE FRONT END. THE CONSUMER CONTINUED TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE HANDLING AND STEERING. THE DEALER THEN DISCOVERED THE FRONT TIRES WERE WEARING ON THE OUTSIDE FRONT EDGE. IT WAS DETERMINED THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED DUE TO A BLOCKED OR INCORRECT AIR FILTER WHICH WAS REPLACED AND THE CODES WERE CLEARED. THE CONSUMERS ISSUES WITH THE HANDLING AND STEERING WERE NOT RESOLVED. IN JUNE OF 2013, THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE STEERING COLUMN, WHERE THE CONSUMER WAS UNABLE TO REMOVE THE KEY FROM THE IGNITION. THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTER WAS REPLACED. THE CONSUMER STATED THE TIE ROD BROKE FOR A SECOND TIME. CHRYSLER DETERMINED AFTER THE ORIGINAL FACTORY TIE ROD BROKE AT 15,000, THE REPLACEMENT TIE ROD END AND ALIGNMENT WERE DONE IMPROPERLY BY THE DEALER. 2011 DODGE RAM 3500. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO SAFETY RECALL NOTICE CONCERNING LEFT TIRE ROD *TGW THE CONSUMER STATED THE DEALER ONLY INSPECTED THE TIE ROD AND TIGHTENED THE TRACK BAR. SIX MONTHS LATER THE TIE ROD BROKE, WHICH CAUSED THE CONSUMER TO LOSE CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE.

WE PURCHASED A BRAND NEW TRUCK FROM A LOCAL SAVANNAH, GEORGIA DEALER IN 2011. MY HUSBAND WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND A TREE FELL ON HIS 9 MONTH OLD TRUCK WITH ONLY 12,000 MILES ON IT. HE HAD BODY DAMAGE ONLY BUT THE TRUCK WAS RENDERED "TOTALED OUT" BY THE INSURANCE COMPANY. WE PAID OFF THE LOAN WITH THE INSURANCE PAY OFF AND THEN, AFTER NEGOTIATIONS, WE BOUGHT THE TRUCK BACK FROM THE INSURANCE COMPANY. WE THEN HAD THE REPAIRS COMPLETED (AGAIN, BODY REPAIRS ONLY). THE TRUCK WAS INSPECTED AND GIVEN A "SALVAGED/REBUILT" TITLE. NOW...DODGE IS REFUSING US ANY FACTORY ENGINE/POWERTRAIN WARRANTY, BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY THEY ARE REFUSING (ALONG WITH THE ORIGINAL LOCAL DEALER) TO REPAIR THE SAFETY RECALLS ON THE VEHICLE. THERE ARE TWO RECALLS: (1) LEFT TIE ROD END AND (2) 2011 DJD2 6.7L ECM FLUSH. WE ARE ALSO TO BELIEVE THAT THE FIRST MOST SEVERE SAFETY RECALL WAS PUT OUT BEFORE THE TRUCK WAS EVEN IN THE CRASH. WE HAVE GOTTEN NO WHERE WITH EITHER DODGE OR THE DEALER THROUGH SEVERAL PHONE CALLS AND SPEAKING WITH SUPERVISORS. DRIVING THRU DEATH VALLEY NATIONAL PARK TITUS CANYON, A 26 MILE GRADED ROAD, THE POWER STEERING QUIT WORKING. AT THE LOW SPEEDS I HAD TO DRIVE, NUMEROUS SWITCHBACKS AND SLOW GOING, IS WAS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO THE STEER THIS NEW VEHICLE. I CHECKED THE BELTS, OIL LEVEL AND FELT THE PUMP TO SEE IF IT WAS HOT AND ALL WERE OK. IT TOOK BEING PARKED OVERNITE TO GET THE STEERING TO COME BACK. AS OF NOW THEY JUST WANT ME TO PICK UP THE VEHICLE, AS NOTHING THEY CAN DO. I DO NOT WANT THIS TO HAPPEN TO SOMEONE ELSE, AS THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS ISSUE.
