Defect Description
Kalmar Solutions, LLC (Kalmar) is recalling certain model year 2014-2016 Ottawa T2 trucks manufactured July 14, 2014, to November 2, 2015. The affected vehicles are equipped with a chassis power board that is not protected from moisture. Additionally, the bolts that mount the chassis power board may rub against the circuit board and cause an electrical short.
Safety Consequence
Exposure to moisture or rubbing from mounting bolts may result in an electrical short which can increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy
Kalmar will install nylon washers to any truck that were not built with washers. The recall began on April 21, 2016. Owners may contact Kalmar customer service at 1-785-229-6341.
