Defect Description
Cottrell, Inc. (Cottrell) is recalling certain 2019-2022 2-Car Carrier vehicles. Four side-rear reflex reflectors are missing. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamp, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Safety Consequence
Missing reflex reflectors reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Cottrell will provide a reflex reflector kit, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed February 2, 2022. Owners may contact Cottrell customer service at 1-866-299-2690. Cottrell's number for this recall is 2021 2-Car Reflector.
