Defect Description

Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2021 and 2025 LFS transit buses. The impeller shaft may be loose, causing the cooling pump to fail.

Safety Consequence

A cooling pump failure can cause a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Nova Bus will inspect and replace the pump as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed January 27, 2026. Owners may contact Nova Bus customer service at 1-450-472-6410. Nova Bus' number for this recall is CR5803. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning January 27, 2026.
