Defect Description
Corp. Micro Bird, Inc. (Micro Bird) is recalling certain 2019, 2021-2026 G5E school buses. The power steering pump may fail to start when the ignition is turned on or may shutdown unexpectedly.
Safety Consequence
A loss of power steering assist can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect and update the software as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed February 11, 2026. Owners can contact Micro Bird Customer Service at 819-477-2012. Micro Bird's number for this recall is 25-119-PUS.
