Defect Description
Terminal Investment Corporation (TICO) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Pro Spotter trucks. The vehicles may be equipped with a non-DOT brake line fitting, resulting in reduced braking performance. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 121, "Air Brake Systems."
Safety Consequence
Reduced brake performance can extend the distance required to stop, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect and replace the fitting as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 25, 2025. Owners may contact TICO customer service at 1-843-536-8139.
