I HAVE NOT HAD MORE THAN A FEW PASSENGERS USE THE CENTER SEAT, BUT THE BELT RETRACTION MECHANISM SHOULD NOT FAIL AFTER BEING USED LESS THAN A DOZEN TIMES OVER THE LIFE OF THE VEHICLE.
