My low beam headlight started to intermittently go out for a while. Then it went out completely. I go to replace the bulb only to find that the bulb wasn’t the actual issue. The harness, wires, and socket to the bulb were blackened, burnt and melted. So now it all needs to be replaced. I’ve seen on several forums that has happened to so many people that have a car manufactured by GM. The original wiring is not quality enough for the heat and current that goes through there.

Multiple time my vehicle became wet in the inside due to a sun roof drainage tube issue. My vehicle stopped while in motion and there was a burning smell. Now none of my windows will go up and the car no longer starts. I have a loud knocking sound coming from the dash when I turn the heater or AC on. Now my dash shows service theft deterrent system. The first time I thought maybe the tube was clogged. I now come to find out that is was/is a on going issue with GM. I could've lost my life or been possibly rear-ended at highway speed due to GM not knowing how to make a sunroof.

THE SUNROOF LEAKS WATER FROM THE DASH THE REAR CAUSING THE CEILING TO BE SOAKED AND MALFUNCTIONING OF SUNROOF WATER LEAKED ON FLOOR OF THE WHOLE CAR CANS SIDE REAR VIEWS CAUSES THE DASH ELECTRICAL SYSTEM TO GO OUT MOTOR BLOWERS IS FILLING UP WITH WATER SO AC/ HEATER CAN NOT DEFROST CAR SO VISIBILITY TO DRIVE CAR IT IS UNSAFE AND CAN CAUSE AN ACCIDENT AND VERY EXPENSIVE TO CONSTANTLY REPLACE A BLOWER THAT WILL CONSTANT FILL UP WITH WATER TO TO SUNROOF DRAINAGE CONSTANTLY CLOTTING AND WON'T DRAIN AND FLOORS FLOODING EVENTUALLY THIS WILL CAUSE CORROSION OR FIRE BEING WATER AND ELECTRICITY DON'T MIX WELL I HAVE 3 CHILDREN I DON'T FEEL WE ARE SAFE IN OUR VEHICLE THIS IS OUR ONLY FORM OF TRANSPORTATION THE SPEAKERS GO IN AND OUT DUE TO THE WATER LEAKED AND SOON COME WINTER CAR WILL NOT BE ABLE TO LEAKY DRIVE BEING MOTOR BLOWERS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CONSTANTLY BE PURCHASED DUE TO GOING OUT BECAUSE WATER BACK UP AND LEAKED AND THE CAR BECOMES DRENCHED IN WATER VIA SEATS AND FLOOR DRIVE SEAT IS ELECTRICAL EVENTUALLY WATER WILL CAUSE A PROBLEM I JUST WANT MY KIDS SAFE AND SECURE IN A VEHICLE AND AS I READ PREVIOUS PROBLEM SOME HAVE EXPERIENCED THE SAME ISSUES I'M GOING THROUGH AS OF RIGHT NOW. WHEN IT RAINS WATER IS LEAKING INTO THE VEHICLE & THROUGHOUT THE 2 YEARS I'VE OWNED IT THE RAIN HAS LEAKED IN MULTIPLE LOCATIONS DESPITE HAVING IT FIXED & CAUSES THE WIRING, LIGHTING & DETRIMENTAL/SAFETY SENSORS & ELECTRICAL PARTS TO BE DAMAGED. I BECAME ESPECIALLY WORRIED WHEN I LEARNED A FRIEND WITH A 2008 GMC ACADIA (IDENTICAL VEHICLE TO SATURN OUTLOOK) IS HAVING THE EXACT SAME WATER ISSUES. WITHIN A MONTH OR 2 OF HAVING THE LEAKING AND DAMAGED FIXED NEW SENSORS GET WET & ISSUES ARISE DUE TO LEAKING IN NEW/DIFFERENT LOCATIONS. I FIRST NOTICED IT LEAKING IN THE FRONT BY THE WINDOWS & SUNROOF & CAUSING THE RADIO SPEAKERS TO QUIT. WITHIN A SHORT WHILE AFTER FIXING IT THE HEADLIGHTS, TAIL LIGHTS & AIR CONDITIONING THEN STARTED CUTTING OUT & NOT WORKING. ONCE AGAIN I HAD THE ISSUE FIXED BUT NOW IT IS LEAKING IN THE DASH WHERE WATER CAN BE HEARD SLOSHING AROUND WHEN TURNING & OCCASIONALLY LEAKS INTO THE FRONT FLOOR BOARD. NOW THE 'STABILITRAK' & TRACTION CONTROL ARE ALL HAVING ISSUES AS WELL AS TRANSMISSION SENSORS MAKING MY CAR UNDRIVABLE AND UNABLE TO SHIFT FROM SECOND GEAR UNTIL THE CAR SITS IN THE SUN OR DRIES OUT FOR A FEW DAYS. THE SPEAKERS ARE ALSO NOT WORKING MAKING THE BACK UP CAM, AND EVEN THE WARNING DASH LIGHTS HAVE NO SOUND. ** AS MENTIONED BEFORE THERE ARE MANY ONLINE FORUMS THAT TALK ABOUT THIS LEAKING ISSUE IN BOTH THE SATURN OUTLOOK & GMC ACADIA'S. IT IS VERY WORRISOME THAT THINGS WILL SEEM TO WORK & SUDDENLY STOP WORKING DUE TO WATER LOG DAMAGE & WHEN DRIVING AT NIGHT & HEADLIGHTS/TAIL LIGHTS FLICKER OR QUIT IT IS VERY SCARY & DANGEROUS. THE SERIOUS ISSUES WITH SENSORS (TRANSMISSION SENSORS & STABILITY) JUST BEGAN ON MY CAR RECENTLY & SINCE I'VE HAD THIS ISSUE FIXED SO MANY TIMES IT NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED FURTHER BEFORE SOMEONE GETS HURT.

ENGINE POWER REDUCED- THIS HAS HAPPENED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, WHERE THE ENGINE JUST STOPPED RUNNING WHILE DRIVING, IN TOWN. MAIN WIRING HARNESS WAS REPAIRED THE FIRST TIME BECAUSE INSULATION WAS DETERIORATED AND WIRING WAS STUCK TOGETHER. LESS THAN TWO WEEKS LATER, ENGINE STOPS AGAIN WHILE DRIVING IN TOWN, WAS ABLE TO COAST TO THE SIDE OF ROAD, CAR RESTARTED, TRYING TO GET HOME, CAR DIED AGAIN, WOULD NOT RESTART, TOWED TO AUTO SHOP AGAIN. AUTO REPAIR IS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM, IT WILL RUN GREAT AND JUST RANDOMLY STOP RUNNING WHILE DRIVING, CAR HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP FOR ALMOST 2 WEEKS NOW. NOTHING IS CODING WHEN THEY RUN DIAGNOSTICS. THEY HAVE CHECKED EVERYTHING POSSIBLE! I AM HAVING THEM KEEP THE CAR UNTIL PROBLEM IS RESOLVED BECAUSE I AM SCARED TO DRIVE IT AND END UP IN A WRECK. I HAVE BEEN FORTUNATE THAT I WAS IN TOWN WHEN THIS HAS HAPPENED, THAT I WAS IN TOWN AND MY GRANDKIDS WERE NOT IN THE CAR WITH ME! THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS SAFETY RISK!!! THANK GOODNESS I DIDN'T GO ON A PLANNED 12 HOUR TRIP TO COLORADO! NOTE: I HAVE ALREADY PUT $6500.00 IN REPAIRS WITHIN THE LAST YEAR BECAUSE OF RANDOM ISSUES WITH THE VEHICLE.

ALL THE SPEAKERS IN THE CAR HAVE QUIT WORKING, BUT IF YOU OPEN AND CLOSE DRIVERS SIDE REAR DOOR THEY WILL WORK UNTIL YOU HIT A BUMP IN THE ROAD.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 SATURN OUTLOOK. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SUN ROOF LEAKED EACH TIME IT RAINED. THE WATER TRAVELED ACROSS THE TOP OF THE VEHICLE, ONTO THE WINDSHIELD, AND INTO THE DASHBOARD. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO STUTEVILLE CHEVROLET BUICK GMC OF PONCA CITY (3330 N 14TH ST, PONCA CITY, OK 74601, (580) 749-5976) WHERE THE BODY CONTROL WAS REPLACED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE NEEDED A NEW BATTERY DUE TO THE WATER THAT WAS LEAKING ONTO THE BATTERY. THE BATTERY WAS REPLACED. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE PPM CHIP FOR THE AIR BAG WAS MISSING, WHICH CAUSED THE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR TO ILLUMINATE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V118000 (AIR BAGS). THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WOULD LURCH FORWARD WHEN IN PARK OR DRIVE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE SAME DEALER, BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 148,564.

WHEN I FIRST GOT THE VEHICLE IN 2017 IT WAS ALWAYS PARKED IN THE GARAGE SO THE PROBLEM WASN'T NOTICED UNTIL I STOPPED USING THE GARAGE. WHEN IT RAINS A LOT WATER IS LEAKING THROUGH THE FRONT SUNROOF WHICH IS THEN DRAINING UNDERNEATH THE HOOD OF THE CAR IN THE ELECTRICAL AREA AND FINALLY LEAKING THROUGH THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE FLOOR BOARDS. IT CAUSED ELECTRICAL ISSUES WITH THE OUTLOOK BECAUSE OF THE INITIAL SUNROOF 'CLOG'. ALSO THE CAR COULD BE DRIVEN BUT WHEN YOU TURNED OFF THE VEHICLE IT WOULD NOT SHUT DOWN. I'VE SEEN MANY ISSUES OF THE SAME PROBLEM THAT OTHER OWNERS ARE HAVING AS WELL WITH THEIR OUTLOOKS. IF THE NUMBERS ARE THERE FROM PEOPLE COMPLAINING I'M NOT UNDERSTANDING WHY THIS HASN'T BEEN INVESTIGATED AND TURNED INTO A RECALL. WHAT STARTS AS A SUNROOF LEAK CAN EASILY AND QUICKLY LEAD TO THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS WORTH OF REPAIRS BECAUSE THE WATER IS LEAKING UNDER THE HOOD AREA.

TAKATA RECALL....WATER LEAKS INTO THE CAR BEHIND KICKER PANEL ON PASSENGER SIDE GOING DIRECTLY INTO THE FUSE/RELAY BOX. IT LEAKS IN ALL DOOR JAMS AND THE REAR LIFTGATE AREA. I HAVE PROBLEMS WITH MY CAR NOT SHIFTING. THROWING CODE P2723 WHICH IS TRANSMISSON PRESSURE CONTROL SHIFT SOLENOID E. I BELIEVE ITS DUE TO WATER GETTING INTO THE FUSE BOX BECAUSE THERE IS A CONSTANT DRAIN ON MY BATTERY AND WHEN TESTING THE FUSES WITH A TEST LIGHT NOT ALL OF THEM SEEM TO BE GETTING A GOOD CONNECTION DUE TO ALL THE CORROSION. ALSO SUNROOF LEAKS. ALL DOOR CIRCUITS GET WET. I HAVE TO DRY EVRYTHING OUT BEFORE I CAN START IT. THE CARPET SMELLS AND ITS FULL OF RUST. COMMON SENSE WOULD TELL YOU THAT THIS CANNOT BE GOOD FROM ANY ASPECT. IM TO THE POINT TO GOING UP TO GM AND MAKING THEM LOOK REALLY BAD BECAUSE THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. I CANNOT BELIEVE WITH SO MANY COMMON PROBLEMS THERE IS YET TO BE A RECALL. I HATE GM AND NEVER WILL I EVER PURCHASE ANY GM PRODUCT NOR WILL I HAVE ANYTHING GOOD TO SAY ABOUT GM. WHEN ALL THIS OCCURED MY CAR WAS OUTSIDE EITHER IN MY DRIVEWAY OR A PARKING LOT OR DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. I HAVR TO COVER THE CAR UP. THE ENTIRE CAR. I BOUGHT THE CAR SOMETIME LAST YEAR. ISSUES WITH MY OUTLOOK ALTERNATOR CAUGHT ENGINE ON FIRE, ELECTRICAL ISSUES WITH STABILIZER/TRACKING CONTROLS, WINDOWS/MIRROR AND MAINLY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON WHILE DRIVING AND TRANSMISSION SLIPS INTO LOW OR 2ND GEAR. I HAD TO PULL TO EMERGENCY LANE AND HAVE VEHICLE TOWED TWICE. DEALER STATES ITS AN ISSUE WITH OBD/OBI CODES AND CLEARS CODE. VEHICLE CONTINUES TO DO THIS ALMOST DAILY, WEEKLY. WATER LEAKS THROUGH SUNROOF, FRONT WINDOW GLASS, UNDER DASH ON FEET OF DRIVER AND PASSENGER; WATER LEAKS VIA DVD SYSTEM WHILE DRIVING AND STATIONARY. ALTERNATOR CAUGHT ON FIRE WHILE DRIVING AND I COASTED INTO A DRIVEWAY AND LIFTED HOOD THE FLAMES STARTED, FIRE DEPT. CONTACTED IMMEDIATELY TO PUT OUT. DAMAGE TO VEHICLE WIRES, TUBES, ETC UNDER HOOD. PASSENGER SIDE FRONT WINDOW AND MIRROR WILL NOT PUSH OUT OF ROLL DOWN DUE TO ELECTRICAL ISSUE DRIVING AND STATIONARY. RECALL ON STRUTS FOR AUTO LIFT GATE, BUT REAL ISSUE IS MODULE TO LIFT LIFTGATE WAS A FEE TO BE REPAIRED. WHAT DID RECALL COVER WITH LIFT GATE? THESE ISSUES HAPPEN NO STOP SINCE 2012 WHEN VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED USED. I DROVE ON INTERSTATE AND AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, TRANSMISSION WENT TO LOW GEAR AND I ALMOST WAS HIT BECAUSE VEHICLE JERKED WHEN THIS HAPPENED AND POWER/SPEED INSTANTLY DROPPED.

OH BOY...HERE GOES. I HAVE A 2008 SATURN OUTLOOK FWD. FOR THE SECOND TIME IN A SPAN IF A FEW YEARS, WATER HAS LEAKED FROM THE SUNROOF AND INTO THE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS, FUSEBOXES, FLOORS, ETC. THIS IS THE INFAMOUS DRAINHOSE CLOGGING ISSUE THAT MANY MAY KNOW ABOUT. THE CAR NOW ONLY STARTS WHEN THE KEY IS REMOVED FROM THE IGNITION. THE STEERING WHEEL IS LOCKED BUT I CAN SHIFT GEARS AND MOVE THE CAR BACKWARD AND FORWARD. I'VE CLEANED UP THE WATER, GRIME AND LITTLE LARVAE GROWING FROM THE WATER INTRUSION. ALL ELECTRONICS WORK CORRECTLY (EVEN THE BUTT WARMER 😊) WHAT I'VE TRIED SO FAR: -REPLACED THE IGNITION SWITCH. -REPLACED THE BATTERY -CHECKED ALL OF THE FUSES OF THE UNDERHOOD FUSEBOXES -CHECKED SEVERAL FUSES OF THE UNDER DASH FUSEBOX -THREW A TEMPER TANTRUM -CUT MY FINGER TRYING TO GET TO IMPOSSIBLY PLACED SCREWS -CHECKED FOR RECALLS. GM STILL DOES NOT SUPPORT AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS ISSUE -PULLED THE CODES. THE RECENT ONES I'VE GOTTEN ARE: C0899, C0561, P0017, P0011 LAST TIME THIS HAPPENED, IT COST ME OVER $1500 TO REPLACE ALL OF THE FUSES/WIRING. I AM FRUSTRATED, YES. NO, I DON'T HAVE THE MONEY TO FIX THIS YET AGAIN. BUT I AM MORE AMAZED AT HOW GM LEAVES THIS ISSUE WITH A TSB AND A GRAIN OF SALT, IN SPITE OF THE OVERWHELMING EVIDENCE OF THIS LONG OCCURRING PROBLEM. I AM LOOKING FOR ADVICE. MECHANICAL ADVICE. IN ADDITION, THE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AND THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL NOISE COMING FROM THE DASHBOARD. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO KOOL CHEVROLET BUICK GMC (810 W CHICAGO RD, STURGIS, MI) WHERE IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE SENSOR IN THE TRANSMISSION WAS DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE SAME DEALER REGARDING THE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR AND IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE PASSENGER SEAT WAS DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 154,000.

THE TRUCK ABS LIGHT CAME ON AND A FIRE STARTED. I GOT EVERYONE OUT AND THE FIRE BLEW UP AND EVERYTHING BURNED DOWN TO THE BODY. WE HAD IT TOWED BY POLICE TO PREVENT A FURTHER FIRE. WE KEPT GETTING A SERVICE AIRBAG WARNING, TOOK IT TO A SATURN CERTIFIED MECHANIC AND HE SAID THE PASSENGER SENSOR IN THE SEAT IS BAD AND COULD PREVENT THE AIRBAG FROM INFLATING IN THE EVENT OF AN IMPACT. WONDERING WHY SINCE HE SAID THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM THAT THERE HASN'T BEEN A RECALL. ALSO, THE AUXILIARY AMPLIFIER WENT BAD... HE THINKS THIS IS FROM A LEAK, AND THE WAY THE WIRING HARNESS WAS DONE APPARENTLY WATER GETS INTO IT AND SHORTS THE AMP. ANOTHER KNOWN PROBLEM HE SAID... UNFORTUNATELY, ALL WARNING/SAFETY CHIMES DO NOT SOUND BECAUSE OF THIS AND ALL THE SPEAKERS DON'T WORK EXCEPT FOR THE FRONT TWEETERS.

THERE IS A LEAK IN BOTH CORNERS OF THE SUNROOF ALLOWING WATER TO LEAK DOWN INTO THE CONSOLE AFFECTING THE PERFORMANCE OF THE AIRBAGS. I DID NOT KNOW THIS UNTIL I STARTED THE CAR AND SAW SMOKE COMING FROM THE PASSENGER SIDE FLOORAND UNDER GLOVE BOX. I TOOK IT TO THE REPAIR SHOP WHERE HE SHOWED ME THE BURNED FUSE BOX AND ALSO A PUDDLE OF WATER UNDERNEATH THE PASSENGER SEAT AND THE WIRES UNDER THE SEAT WERE ALSO BURNED . THIS CAR HAS A DEFECT IN THE SUNROOF ALLOWING WATER TO DRAIN INTO THE CONSOL ONTO WIRES AND THEY CATCH FIRE.

THIS RESULTED IN RAINWATER GETTING INTO THE FUSE BOX CAUSING ELECTRICAL CORROSION AND THE REAR WIPER TO MALFUNCTION. BESIDES THE POTENTIAL SAFETY ISSUE, AN ELECTRICAL MALFUNCTION WHILE DRIVING OR FIRE, THERE IS ALSO A HEALTH ISSUE OF MOLD IN THE HEADLINER AND UNDER THE CARPETING. AS A RESULT OF THE WATER GETTING INSIDE THE CAR THE HEADLINER IS NOW PERMANENTLY WATER STAINED AND THE CARPETING WAS SOAKED. THE DEALERSHIP "BLEW OUT" THE DRAIN TUBES BUT COULD NOT GUARANTEE THIS WOULD FIX THE PROBLEM. I WAS FURTHER ADVISED OF A GMC CUSTOMER SATISFACTION RECALL ON THIS CAR (08207A) WHICH EXPIRED ON 09/30/09 AND THAT THIS REPAIR WAS NEVER DONE ON MY VEHICLE, BASED ON A CHECK OF THE VIN. I CONTACTED SATURN DIRECTLY ON 04/04/16 WHO REFUSED TO PAY FOR THIS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION RECALL SINCE IT EXPIRED 7 YEARS AGO. I'VE GOTTEN MORE WATER INSIDE MY CAR SINCE MY TRIP TO THE DEALERSHIP AND WAS ADVISED THAT THE APPROXIMATE COST TO EXTEND THE DRAIN TUBES, AS RECOMMENDED ON THE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION RECALL, WOULD BE AT LEAST $500.00. THIS PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE REPLACING THE HEADLINER, THE CARPETING, POSSIBLE MOLD REMOVAL, OR REPAIRING/REPLACING THE FUSE BOX. I REPLACED THE BATTERY WITH A BRAND NEW ONE. ON JAN 19, 2016 I GOT INTO MY CAR ON AN EXTREMELY RAINY DAY AND NOTICED A HUGE PUDDLE OF WATER ON THE FRONT PASSENGER FLOORBOARD. I LOOKED ALL AROUND THE CAR AND COULD NOT FIND ANY LEAKS, NOTHING FROM WINDSHIELD, SUNROOF OR DAMAGED WEATHER STRIPPING. I TOOK OUT THE MATS AND THE CAR DRIED OUT. ON JAN 31, 2016 THERE WAS ANOTHER EXTREMELY WET AND RAINY DAY AND ONCE AGAIN WATER WAS POOLED UP IN FRONT PASSENGER FLOORBOARD. AS I DROVER CAR AWAY WATER STARTED POURING INTO THE VEHICLE FROM ALL OPENINGS, IE SEATBELT HARNESS, WINDSHIELD, FROM BELOW DASH, VENTS, EVERYWHERE. ALL OF THE PASSENGERS IN CAR WERE GETTING WET. ONCE HOME I PARKED THE CAR IN THE GARAGE AND I TOOK OUT FLOOR MATS AND OPENED UP WINDOWS FOR CAR TO DRY OUT. AFTER A COUPLE OF DAYS THE REAR WINDSHIELD WIPER STARTED GOING OFF REPEATEDLY ON IT'S OWN, LIKE BEFORE. I COULD NOT TURN IT OFF, ONCE AGAIN. THEN THE RADIO CONTINUED TO STAY ON ONCE THE CAR WAS TURNED OFF, KEY REMOVED AND DRIVER DOOR OPENED. I LAST DROVE THE CAR ON WED NIGHT 2/3 AND PARKED IN THE GARAGE OVERNIGHT. WHEN I WENT TO GET IN CAR THE NEXT MORNING IT WAS COMPLETELY DEAD. NO POWER AT ALL, BRAND NEW BATTERY. THEN THE KEY GOT STUCK IN THE IGNITION AND CAR WAS STUCK IN GARAGE. IN MARCH OF THIS YEAR I TURNED MY 2008 SATURN OUTLOOK INTO HALEY GMC IN MIDLOTHIAN VA TO FIX A RECALL CONCERNING AN AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT THAT WAS ON IN THE CAR. AIR BAG RECALL 14030 WAS PERFORMED, HOWEVER, THE WARNING LIGHT WAS STILL ON IN THE CABIN. SERVICE DEPARTMENT AT HALEY INFORMED ME THAT THE RECALL WAS PERFORMED PER GM SPECIFICATIONS HOWEVER, THE WARNING LIGHT WAS STILL ON DUE TO A FAULTY PASSENGER PRESENCE MODULE (DIAGNOSTIC CODE: B0081). AT THE TIME OF THIS REPAIR I HAD AN EXTENDED WARRANTY UNDER THE GMPP (GENERAL MOTORS PROTECTION PLAN) WHICH WAS STILL VALID UNTIL AUGUST OF 2014 OR 107,000 MILES WHICH EVER CAME FIRST. I WAS TOLD BY GMPP THAT THIS MODULE WAS NOT COVERED UNDER MY CURRENT WARRANTY. SINCE THIS VISIT I HAVE TAKEN MY COMPLAINT THROUGH NOT ONLY THE DEALERSHIP BUT THROUGH CORPORATE GM ON TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS PLEADING WITH THEM THAT THIS WAS A SAFETY RELATED ISSUE NOT A WARRANTY ISSUE. THE PROBLEM STARTS WITH HEAVY RAIN LEAKING THROUGH THE SUN ROOF. ACCORDING TO THE ED MORSE DEALERSHIP REPRESENTATIVE, THE SUNROOF IS PROJECTED TO PASS SOME WATER (VERY FEW) THAT WILL DRAIN THROUGH THE DRAIN TUBES LOCATED AT THE FRONT AND REAR COLUMNS (SIDES OF THE WINDSHIELD). HOWEVER, THE TUBES MAY GET CLOGGED AN THE WATER STARTS LEAKING INSIDE THE CAR THROUGH THE COLUMNS WERE AIRBAG ARE LOCATED. NEVERTHELESS, THESE TUBES ARE NOT LONG ENOUGH TO DRIVE THE WATER UNTIL THE BOTTOM OF THE CAR SO THE WATER WILL LEAK INTO THE INNER FUSE BLOCK, WILL DAMP THE CARPETS ON THE PASSENGER AND DRIVER SIDES AND MAKE MUCH MORE DAMAGE THAN YOU CAN BELIEVE. THE TECHNICIAN ADVISED THAT THE FUSE BOX WAS CORODED AND CLEANED THE CONNECTIONS. THE CAR CONTINUED TO REMAIN ON THROUGHOUT THE DAY UNTIL IT SEEMED TO DRY OUT. IT RAINED AGAIN YESTERDAY AND THE SAME ISSUE OCCURRED WHERE THERE WAS WATER LEAKING FROM THE DRIVER SIDE PILLAR NEAR THE AIR BAG. I NOTICED THE CAR STAYING ON ONE TIME AND THEN THE NEXT MORNING THE CAR WOULD NOT START. I BEGAN RESEARCHING THE ISSUE AND FOUND SIMILAR COMPLAINTS FROM OTHER GM USERS. I AM CONCERNED NOT ONLY ABOUT THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, BUT POTENTIAL MOLD AND CONTACTED THE DEALER AS MANY NOTED THERE WAS A SERVICE BULLETIN. NEAR THE END OF MAY 2012, I WAS BACKING OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY WHICH SLOPES SLIGHTLY DOWNWARD, AND SUDDENLY WATER STARTED COMING OUT OF THE REAR OVERHEAD LIGHTS. WHEN THE CAR REACHED LEVEL GROUND THE WATER THEN CAME OUT OF THE PASSENGER-SIDE WINDSHIELD PILLAR AND THE SUNROOF AS WELL. I BROUGHT IT TO A GM DEALERSHIP AND THEY TOLD ME THE SUNROOF DRAIN TUBES WERE CLOGGED. IT COST ME $90.00 TO HAVE THEM CLEAN IT OUT. THE CAR IS NORMALLY GARAGED, HOWEVER WE HAD DRIVEN IT DURING A RAINSTORM THE DAY BEFORE THIS HAPPENED. AFTERWARDS WE STARTED NOTICING SOME CRAZY THINGS HAPPENING TO THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM OF THE CAR. SOMETIMES THE RADIO WOULD STAY ON EVEN AFTER THE KEY WAS REMOVED AND OPENING THE DOORS (WHICH NORMALLY WOULD SHUT EVERYTHING DOWN.) SOMETIMES THE FRONT DOOR PANEL SPEAKERS WOULD NOT WORK AT ALL, OR ONE WOULD WORK OR BOTH WOULD WORK. RIGHT NOW THE DRIVERS SIDE IS NOT WORKING. THEN THE DAY AFTER THE CAR WAS OUT IN A TORRENTIAL RAIN STORM SOMETIME NEAR THE END OF FEBRUARY 2014, IT WOULD NOT START AT ALL. IT WAS COMPLETELY DEAD AND I HAD TO CALL AAA TO GET IT STARTED. THE AAA GUY SAID TO CHECK THIS CAR OUT ONLINE FOR ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS, WHICH I DID AND FOUND VOLUMES OF COMPLAINTS STEMMING FROM THIS ISSUE, AS WELL AS SEVERAL GM TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETINS OR TSB'S AS THEY ARE REFERRED TO. I ONCE AGAIN BROUGHT IT TO THE GM DEALERSHIP WHICH KNEW ABOUT THE ISSUE AND REPAIRED IT AT A COST TO ME OF $810.39. GM HAS NOT ADDRESSED THIS ISSUE DIRECTLY, NOR HAS COMPENSATED ANY OF THE CONSUMERS WHO OWN THE VEHICLES THAT ALL HAVE THIS PROBLEM, NAMELY SATURN OUTLOOK, GMC ACADIA AND BUICK ENCLAVE FROM 2008 - 2010. I FEEL THAT IT IS IRRESPONSIBLE AND UNETHICAL FOR THEM TO PASS THIS PROBLEM OFF TO THE CONSUMER. LOW BEAM PASSENGER SIDE LIGHT WENT OUT AND I REPLACED THE LIGHT. TWO WEEKS LATER THE LIGHT WENT OUT AGAIN, I MOVED THE CONNECTOR AND THE LIGHT CAME BACK ON. THE LIGHT WORKED FOR TWO WEEKS AND IT WENT OUT AGAIN. I WENT TO CHANGE THE BULB AND IT SMELLED LINE BURNT PLASTIC. I REMOVED THE BULB AND THE CONNECTOR WAS BURNT ON ONE OF THE SIDES. THE WIRE WAS BARELY HANGING ON THE SIDE THE CONNECTOR WAS BURNT. THE WIRE HARNESS SEEMS VERY FLIMSY AND VERY POOR QUALITY. 10/12/13 WE HAD SEVERAL INCHES OF RAIN & THE NEXT MORNING I NOTICED THE FLOOR BOARDS WERE WET. AGAIN, THE EVENING OF 10/15 WE HAD SEVERE RAIN STORMS WITH FLOODING IN OUR CITY. THE NEXT DAY WHEN MY MIL & I GOT INTO VEHICLE THE FLOOR BOARDS WERE SOAKED. WHEN WE PUT OUR SEAT BELTS ON THEY TOO WERE WET. I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A BODY SHOP ON 10/16 & HAVE A STATEMENT THAT IT WOULD BE A COSTLY REPAIR, MOLD WAS PRESENT & HE STATED IT WAS NOT RECOMMENDED THAT I DRIVE IT DUE TO POSSIBLE ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS. ON 10/23 I PICKED THE VEHICLE UP FROM THE BODY SHOP & NOTICED THE MOLD ON THE HEADLINER OF THE PASSENGER SIDE & DRIVER SIDE FLOORBOARD. I IMMEDIATELY CALLED THE DEALERSHIP (COVERT BUICK) WHERE I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE & TOLD THEM I WOULD BE BRINGING THE VEHICLE TO THEM FIRST THING IN THE MORNING. 10/24 I ATTEMPTED TO START THE VEHICLE & IT WOULD NOT START. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP & SPOKE TO THE SERVICE MANAGER TOM. HE SENT A TOW TRUCK OUT TO BRING THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP. PRIOR TO THE TOW TRUCK ARRIVING I CLEANED OUT ALL MY PERSONAL BELONGINGS & UPON DOING SO I FOUND THAT THE THIRD ROW CUP HOLDER HAD STANDING WATER IN IT & MOLD WAS GROWING IN IT ALSO. UPON ARRIVING TO THE DEALERSHIP TOM STATED HE "GOT ME A LOANER VEHICLE APPROVED BY [XXX], THEY USUALLY DON'T DO THIS" & TOLD ME I WOULD "LIKELY NOT HEAR FROM THEM UNTIL WED, 10/30 AS THEY WERE VERY BUSY". I DID NOT HEAR FROM TOM UNTIL FRI, 11/1 AT 3PM. I RETURNED HIS CALL AT 5PM & HE EXPLAINED THAT THEY ASSESSED MY VEHICLE & IT WOULD COST ME $1900 FOR REPAIRS. "THERE WERE LEAKS FOUND & WATER DAMAGE CAUSED A SHORT IN THE BATTERY." I THEN EXPLAINED THAT I DID NOT FEEL THIS WAS SOMETHING I SHOULD HAVE TO PAY TO GET FIXED AS I HAD JUST PURCHASED THE VEHICLE FROM THEM. ASKED HIM TO ESCALATE TO HIS MANAGER & GET BACK TO ME. DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AT 60MPH WHEN CAR SLOWED DOWN TO 10-15MPH. HAD TO PLACE MY EMERGENCY LIGHTS ON IN ORDER NOT TO GET HIT BY PASSING VEHICLES AND MOVE TO THE EMERGENCY LANE. I HAD TO TURN OFF THE CAR IN ORDER FOR THE ACCELERATOR TO WORK AGAIN. AFTER THE FIRST INCIDENT THE VEHICLE KEPT ON STALLING. WE HAVE OWNED THIS 2008 OUTLOOK SINCE IT WAS NEW, WE ARE THE ORIGINAL OWNERS. IT WAS PRINCIPALLY GARAGED UNTIL RECENTLY. AFTER ANY RAIN WATER CAN BE HEARD SLOSHING OVER YOUR HEAD AND THE FLOOR GETS WET. ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS ELECTRICAL ISSUES HAVE STARTED HAPPENING. VARIOUS LIGHTS COME ON THE DASH AND THE RADIO WILL TURN ON BY ITSELF. I AM CONCERNED THAT THE WATER LEAKING IN IS CAUSING ELECTRICAL SHORTS WHICH COULD CAUSE A FIRE OR CAUSE THE AIRBAG SYSTEM TO FAIL. THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM AND THIS MUCH WATER ENTERING THE DASH COULD CAUSE A CATASTROPHIC FAILURE RESULTING IN INJURIES. WATER IS ENTERING FROM THE SUNROOF AND DOES NOT DRAIN PROPERLY. GM HAS A TSB THAT SPEAKS OF DRAIN TUBES THAT NEED TO BE EXTENDED. I DO NOT THINK THAT IS THE ISSUE BECAUSE, IF IT WAS, IT WOULD HAVE LEAKED SINCE IT WAS NEW. WHILE ON VACATION, NOTICED THE ENGINE LIGHT COME ON, NO APPARENT PROBLEMS AT THE TIME BUT THE NEXT MORNING (AFTER SITTING IN THE PARKING RAMP ALL NIGHT) I COME OUT TO FIND A DEAD CAR BATTERY. MY DRIVER SIDE HEADLIGHT (LOW BEAM) WAS WORKING INTERMITTENTLY. FINALLY IT STOPPED WORKING. I BOUGHT A NEW BULB AND WAS REPLACING IT THIS WEEKEND. THE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHT WENT OUT ON THE VEHICLE. I WENT TO AUTOZONE TO PURCHASE THE HEADLIGHT REPLACEMENT WHEN I WAS TOLD THAT IT COULD POSSIBLY BE TWO DIFFERENT HEADLIGHTS THAT I WOULD NEED TO BRING THE BROKEN ONE SO THEY CAN SELL ME A REPLACEMENT. I FOUND OUT THAT IT IS NOT VERY EASY TO REPLACE THE HEADLIGHT ON THIS VEHICLE AS SEVERAL OTHER PARTS HAVE TO BE REMOVED IN ORDER TO GET TO THE HEADLIGHT CONNECTOR. I FOUND INSTRUCTIONS AND SEVERAL COMPLAINTS FROM OWNERS INDICATING THEY HAVE REPLACED THE HEADLIGHT SEVERAL TIMES DURING THE YEAR ONLY TO BE TOLD BY DEALERS THAT THE HARNESS/CONNECTOR ARE BURNED AND THAT IS THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM. I PROCEEDED TO REMOVE THE UNDERLINER OF THE TIRE TO GET TO THE HEADLIGHT ON MY VEHICLE. AS SUSPECTED, THE CONNECTOR AND WIRE HARNESS WERE BURNED. I FOUND SEVERAL SERVICE BULLETINS INSTRUCTING DEALERS TO "CHECK AND REPLACE" THE HARNESS AND HEADLIGHT ON THESE VEHICLES. WHEN I CALLED SATURN I WAS INFORMED THAT THE DEALERSHIP HAD REPLACED THE HEADLIGHT IN MY VEHICLE ON APRIL 2011...HOWEVER THEY NEVER INFORMED ME OF THIS CHANGE. RIGHT NOW MY WIFE IS DRIVING THIS VEHICLE WITHOUT A HEADLIGHT AS SATURN IS REFUSING TO REPLACE THE BURNED HARNESS THAT I FOUND ON THE CAR. LESS THAN A YEAR LATER, IN NOVEMBER 2011, THE RIGHT HEADLIGHT WENT OUT AGAIN. WHEN WE TOOK IT TO THE DEALER ON NOVEMBER 4, 2011, THEY INFORMED US THE BULB HAD BURNED OUT AND THE HARNESS HAD BURNED OUT AGAIN, AND SAID THE REPAIR WOULD BE MORE THAN $200. THE INSIDE CONNECTOR AREA OF THE BULB ITSELF ALSO APPEARS MELTED. THE BULB IS AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION. I HAD THE WIRING HARNESS REPLACED AT MY COST DUE TO THE SAFETY ISSUE OF ONLY DRIVING WITH ONE WORKING HEADLIGHT AT NIGHT AS WELL AS THE FACT IT'S AGAINST THE LAW IN THE STATE OF OHIO. ADDITIONALLY, I WAS TRAVELING TO CANADA AND DID NOT WANT TO RISK THE POSSIBILITY OF A CRASH OR COLLISION WITH AN ANIMAL DUE TO THE FAULTY LIGHT. GM ISSUED A TSB IN MAY 2009 ADDRESSING THIS PROBLEM (TSB# 09-08-42-004) WHICH INCLUDED FILLING THE CONNECTOR CAVITY WITH NYOGEL GREASE AFTER REMOVING AND REPLACING THE HARNESS. MY VEHICLE IS OUT OF WARRANTY WITH JUST OVER 41,000 MILES. THE GM SHOP ACKNOWLEDGED THAT THEY HAVE SEEN OTHER VEHICLES IN THIS MODEL LINE WITH THE SAME FAILURE. HOWEVER THEY HAD NO DIRECTIONS TO COVER THE REPAIRS SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS OUT OF WARRANTY. IT WAS RECOMMENDED THAT I CALL GM CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE. THAT CALL RESULTED IN AN APPARENT LACK OF KNOWLEDGE OF THIS PROBLEM IN SPITE OF THE NUMEROUS NHTSA COMPLAINTS AND INTERNET DISCUSSIONS REGARDING THIS PROBLEM. THIS IS AN OBVIOUS SAFETY ISSUE SHOULD A FAILURE OCCUR WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT. UPON NOTICING A HEADLIGHT OUT ON MY WIFE'S 2008 SATURN OUTLOOK, IT WAS NOTED UPON DISASSEMBLY OF THE HEADLIGHT THAT THERE WAS SIGNIFICANT MELTING DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL WIRING HARNESS TO THE PASSENGER SIDE HID HEADLIGHT FIXTURE. THE WIRING HARNESS WAS CHARRED AND BLACKENED IN THE AREA OF THE HEADLIGHT CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY. IT APPEARS THERE WAS SIGNIFICANT HEAT/ARCING DURING THE FAILURE EVENT. THE DAMAGED WIRING HARNESS CAUSED THE PASSENGER SIDE HEADLIGHT TO BECOME NON FUNCTIONAL. THE VEHICLE HAS APPROXIMATELY 50000 MILES ON IT. THIS IS THE FIRST SUCH FAILURE FOR THIS VEHICLE, HOWEVER, UPON READING VARIOUS ONLINE POSTINGS ABOUT THIS MATTER, IT APPEARS TO BE A VERY COMMON FAILURE MODE IN THESE MODEL VEHICLES. THE DEALER INFORMED THE OWNER THAT THE BATTERY RECEIVED WAS DEFECTIVE AND THEY HAD RECEIVED AN ENTIRE DEFECTIVE BATCH OF BATTERIES. THE FAILURE RECURRED AND THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED BACK TO THE DEALER FOR A FOURTH BATTERY REPLACEMENT. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 17,000.

I HAVE A 2008 SATURN AND THE LOW BEAN HARNESS ON THE PASSENGER SIDE WAS MELTED AND THE LIGHT BULB SHORTED OUT. THE GM DEALER, GERRY LANE, WAS AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM DUE TO A SERVICE BULLETIN AND SAID IT IS NORMALLY A $300-$400 JOB, BUT THEY WILL REPLACE IT AS A GOOD GESTURE FOR A CHARGE OF $50. THE SERVICE BULLETIN IS "TSB #09-08-42-004 "LOW BEAM HEADLAMP REPLACEMENT/DIAGNOSIS (INSPECT FUSE, BULB, HARNESS, REPLACE HARNESS AND FILL CONNECTOR CAVITY FOR LOW BEAM BULB CONNECTOR WITH NYOGEL GREASE) - (MAY 29, 2009). DOCUMENT ID: 2284787. APPLIES TO MODELS 2007-2009 SATURN OUTLOOK. THIS SHOULD BE A RECALL AND COULD BE DANGEROUS BY CREATING A FIRE NEXT TO THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. I OWN A 2008 SATURN OUTLOOK, WHICH I PURCHASED NEW IN AUGUST OF 2007. IN FEBRUARY OF 2010, I NOTICED MY RIGHT LOW-BEAM HEADLIGHT/DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT WAS OUT. I CONTACTED MY LOCAL SATURN SERVICE CENTER AND WAS TOLD THAT THERE HAD BEEN "SOME PROBLEMS WITH THE WIRING HARNESS" AND I SHOULD BRING IT IN FOR A REPLACEMENT HARNESS, SINCE IT WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY, WHICH I DID. IN APRIL 2010, THE LEFT LOW BEAM HEADLIGHT/DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT WENT OUT. I AGAIN CONTACTED SATURN AND ASKED IF, ASSUMING THIS WAS THE SAME PROBLEM, IT WOULD BE COVERED BY WARRANTY, SINCE THEY HAD ALREADY ACKNOWLEDGED THAT A PROBLEM EXISTED WITH THIS HARNESS (THE VEHICLE WAS ABOUT 2,000 MILES OVER WARRANTY BY THIS TIME). I WAS TOLD THAT, SINCE THERE HAD BEEN NO RECALL, IT WOULD NOT BE A WARRANTY ITEM, AND THAT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THE REPAIRS MYSELF. SINCE THE SATURN DEALER IS ABOUT 50 MILES AWAY, AND IT WAS NOT GOING TO BE COVERED BY WARRANTY, I OPTED TO HAVE IT REPAIRED AT A SHOP MUCH CLOSER TO HOME. AFTER DETERMINING THAT THE BULB WAS FUNCTIONAL, THEY ORDERED A NEW WIRING HARNESS, AND INSTALLED IT IN LESS THAN AN HOUR (TO THE TUNE OF $171.44). I ASKED TO SEE THE OLD HARNESS, AND UPON INSPECTION, I OBSERVED THAT THE HOUSING AROUND ONE OF THE CONNECTION POINTS WAS CLEARLY BURNT AND MELTED. I HAVE HEARD OF NUMEROUS OTHER REPORTS OF THIS FAILURE, MUCH LIKE THE RECALLED WIRING HARNESS FOR THE HEATED WINDSHIELD WIPERS. WE HAVE A 2008 SATURN OUTLOOK. THE HEADLIGHTS KEEP GOING OUT. THE WIRING HARNESS IS BAD AND THE EXPENSE TO REPLACE IS VERY HIGH ($750). THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM AND MANY PEOPLE HAVE SUBMITTED COMPLAINTS AND COMMENTED IN FORUMS ON THE WEB. THE PROBLEM OCCURS AT RANDOM TIMES. I CONTINUALLY HAVE AN ISSUE WITH A NON-WORKING DRIVER'S SIDE HEADLIGHT. I HAVE REPLACED THE LIGHT BULB TWICE, BUT THIS ONLY WORKS FOR 1-2 WEEKS BEFORE IT GOES OUT AGAIN. THE DEALER HAS IDENTIFIED IT AS A HARNESS SHORT WITH THE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY, BUT THE WHOLE ASSEMBLY NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. MY 2008 SATURN OUTLOOK HAD 39000 MILES ON IT WITH AND A MANUFACTURERS EXTENDED WARRANTY (GIVEN TO ME AS PART OF ANOTHER ONGOING WATER LEAK ISSUE THAT IS ALSO NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY) AND THEY STATED THAT THIS IS NOT A COVERED ITEM. I HAVE SPOKEN WITH THE DEALERSHIP AND CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WAS TOLD THAT THIS IS A $500+ DOLLAR REPAIR THAT IS NOT COVERED ON A 2 YEAR OLD VEHICLE. MOST OF THE TIME I ONLY HAVE ONE WORKING HEADLIGHT AND THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE. I PURCHASED THIS 2008 VEHICLE IN JULY 2008, USED BUT "NEW" WITH A BIT OVER 16,000 MILES ON IT FROM A DEALERSHIP IN SYRACUSE THAT IS NO LONGER ACTIVE. MY VEHICLE HAS ALWAYS BEEN WELL CARED FOR AND SERVICED ACCORDINGLY. STARTING JAN. 31, 2010, THE ENGINE BEGAN TO MAKE A LOUD KNOCK. IT DID NOT MATTER IF I WARMED THE VEHICLE, OR IF IT WAS WARM WEATHER OR COLD. ON SOME INSTANCES IT SEEMED TO NOT ACCELERATE ON THE HIGHWAY AS IT SHOULD. OFTEN HESITATING TO "GO". IT HAS BEEN INTO THE DEALERSHIP FOUR DIFFERENT OCCASIONS, FOR A TOTAL OF 21 DAYS OUT-OF-SERVICE CUMULATIVELY, SOON TO BE MORE. THE FIRST TIME THEY GAVE IT BACK THE NEXT DAY AS THEY STATED THEY COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE NOISE. THREE DAYS LATER THE KNOCK WAS BACK. THE SECOND TIME IT WENT IN THEY HAD FOR 7 DAYS, COULD NOT DUPLICATE. 2 DAYS LATER BACK AGAIN...THE THIRD TIME THE DEALERSHIP LOCALLY HERE PUT A NEW TIMING CHAIN IN. THEY SAID IT WAS "SLACK". HOWEVER, THIS DID NOT FIX THE ISSUE. IT WAS SUPPOSED TO GO BACK IN FOR THE SAME ENGINE KNOCKING, ETC. BEFORE IT COULD GO IN I WAS DRIVING AT NIGHT WITH SMALL CHILDREN IN THE CAR ON A HIGHWAY AND HAD NO HEADLIGHTS. AFTER TAKING IT TO THE DEALERSHIP THEY SAY THE WIRING HARNESS MELTED AND THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHY. THEY TAKE THE VEHICLE IN AGAIN FOR A FOURTH TIME. TELL ME ITS FIXED. NEW WIRING HARNESS. PICK UP VEHICLE..SAME ENGINE KNOCK PRESENT. THEY NOW SAY MAYBE ITS A LIFTER? CAM? DON'T HAVE PARTS. GIVE ME THIS SAME VEHICLE TO CONTINUE TO DRIVE. SOMETHING IS FISHY HERE.
