IGNITION LOCK IS HARD TO TURN CAR HAVE TO JIGGLE THE KEY AND I WAS DRIVING AND BY ACCIDENT I PULLED THE KEY CHAIN WERE THE KEYS AND IT CAME OFF WILL DRIVING.

WHEN DRIVING THE VEHICLE THE DRIVER SIDE AIRBAG LITE COMES ON STAYS ONE FOR ABOUT THREE HOURS. I NEVER KNOW WHEN IT WILL HAPPEN BUT IT'S GETTING WORSE.

PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG LIGHT COMES ON- TOOK TO SHOP- THEY SAID THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH AIRBAG AND SEAT WARMER CONNECTIONS- AIRBAG LIGHT SOMETIMES GOES OFF WHEN SEAT WARMER IS ON... BUT AFTER A FEW MINUTES THE LIGHT COMES BACK ON. THE MECHANIC SAID IT WOULD COST BETWEEN 900-1200 TO FIX THIS- THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE THAT SHOULD BE COVERED.
THE IGNITION WAS NOT TURNING OVER PROPERLY. THE BATTERY LIGHT WAS ON. THE BRAKE LIGHT CAME ON. THE TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM CAME ON. THE (ABS) LIGHT CAME ON. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. THE OIL PRESSURE LIGHT CAME ON. I DROVE MY CAR FROM FRESNO TO YOSEMITE AND RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE PARK GARAGE IT BROKE DOWN AND I MANAGED TO ROLL IT OFF THE ROAD AND INTO A STALL. I REQUESTED PROFESSIONAL ADVICE. THE PROFESSIONAL SAID IT APPEARED TO HIM TO BE A FAULTY ALTENATOR, A FAILED ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, AND A BATTERY PROBLEM, AS WELL AS A PROBLEM WITH THE IGNITION SWITCH. THEY DID NOT HAVE THE TOOLS TO EXAMINE THE PRODUCTS, SO INSTRUCTED ME TO HAVE IT TOWED TO THE DEALER IN THE NEAREST LOCALE. THIS IS A SPECIFIC CAR DEALER IN FRESNO, CA.

THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE IGNITION SWITCH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 150,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.

THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE THROTTLE BODY, BATTERY, CABLES, AND BATTERY FUSE BOX NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. ALSO, THE TECHNICIAN CLEARED THE CODES FROM THE SYSTEM, REPLACED THE HYBRID SYSTEM, AND THE ENERGY CONTROL MODULE. THE REMEDY FAILED TO REPAIR THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 98,402.

ALSO, THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT THE KEY WOULD OFTEN BECOME STUCK INSIDE THE IGNITION SWITCH. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER SEVERAL TIMES AND THE SWITCH WAS REPLACED TWICE, BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED TO OCCUR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 52,353. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE IGNITION SWITCH WAS REPLACED BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED. IN ADDITION, WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED, SMOKE WAS EMITTING FROM THE WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH. THE SWITCH WAS REPLACED HOWEVER, THE STEERING WHEEL WOULD MALFUNCTION MAKING THE STEERING WHEEL DIFFICULT TO TURN. THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE AND THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURES WERE NOT DIAGNOSED. NO FURTHER DETAILS OF THE CRASH WERE AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 66,000.

I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND MY KNEE ACCIDENTALLY HIT THE KEY AND IT FELL RIGHT OUT OF THE IGNITION SWITCH. I HAVE TO FUMBLE AROUND FOR IT ON THE FLOOR WHILE THE CAR WAS RUNNING AND MOVING. I HAVE BEEN HAVING TWO PROBLEMS WITH THE SWITCH , #1 , I CAN REMOVE THE KEY WHILE THE MOTOR IS RUNNING AND IT WILL CONTINUE TO RUN ,. #2 , WHEN I TURN THE IGNITION OFF THE KEY WILL JAM BEFORE REACHING THE KEY REMOVAL POSITION , THIS IS INTERMITTENT , AND I HAVE TURN TO THE IGNITION ON POSITION AND THEN TURN IT OFF A SECOND TIME , THIS USUALLY WORKS , MOST OF THE TIME . I AM AWARE THAT SINCE GM CLOSED THE SATURN PLANTS , THAT THEY HAVE A TEN YEAR COMMITMENT TO FIX PROBLEMS ON ALL SATURN VEHICLES , THIS INFORMATION WAS GIVEN TOO ME BY A GM DEALERSHIP IN THE SEATTLE AREA , DURING A VISIT TO GET A LUBE JOB . WE LIVE IN MOSES LAKE , WA ABOUT 300 MILES FROM SEATTLE . ALSO MY UNDERSTANDING IS THAT THIS DEALERSHIP ARE THE ONLY ONE IN WA CONTRACTED TO DO ANY WORK ON THE SATURN LINE OF VEHICLES. I WAS DRIVING TO COLLEGE WHEN THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. UPON STOPPING AT A RED LIGHT, THE AUTO-STOP FEATURE KICKED IN BUT ONCE I STARTED GOING, THE BATTERY LIGHT CAME ON AND THE ENTIRE VEHICLE STARTED RUNNING HORRIBLY AND THE LIGHTS DIMMING. THE AIRBAG, TRACTION CONTROL, AND ABS DASH LIGHTS ALL STARTED TURNING ON AND THEN OFF ALSO. SO I NOW HAVE BOTH CHECK ENGINE AND BATTERY LIGHTS STAYING ON. I WENT TO MY FATHERS HOUSE TO USE HIS CODE READER SINCE THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AT THE DEALERSHIP WAS CLOSED AND I HAVE THE FOLLOWING CODES: POABB, POAFB, P1A47, P1174, AND THREE POA37. THESE CODES ARE ALL SAYING THAT THE HYBRID SYSTEM IS OVER VOLTAGE AND THE DIAGNOSTIC FIX IS TO REPLACE THE HYBRID SYSTEM/POWER INVERTER. I'M GOING TO THE CERTIFIED SATURN DEALERSHIP IN THE MORNING TO HAVE IT THOROUGHLY LOOKED AT. BUT AFTER LOOKING AT OTHER COMPLAINTS, IT SEEMS THAT GM SHOULD HAVE LOOKED AT ALL THE HYBRID LINE BATTERY SYSTEMS FOR FAULTINESS AND NEEDS TO FIX THEM! *TR

CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON IMMEDIATELY AFTER DRIVING OFF THE LOT. SEVERE ELECTRICAL/COMPUTER ISSUES. THE HYBRID BATTERY WAS NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY. THE HYBRID BATTERY WAS REPLACED BUT WE HAVE CONTINUED TO HAVE ELECTRICAL/COMPUTER PROBLEMS. THE RADIO QUIT WORKING AND HAD TO BE REPLACED. THE IGNITION SWITCH/CORE HAD TO BE REPLACED. THIS WE PAID FOR OUT OF POCKET EVEN THOUGH GM KNEW ABOUT SIMILAR IGNITION ISSUES WITH SATURN VUE'S AND OTHER CARS. WE ARE STILL EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS WITH THE IGNITION. THE CAR COMPLETELY SHUTS DOWN WHILE DRIVING. THE KEY WILL FALL OUT OF THE IGNITION WHILE DRIVING. GM HAS REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT THESE ISSUES. THE DASHBOARD LIGHTS ALL COME ON AT RANDOM TIMES. THE AIRBAG LIGHT HAS CONTINUED TO ILLUMINATE AT RANDOM TIMES DESPITE OUR BRINGING IT TO GM'S ATTENTION FROM THE MOMENT WE PURCHASED THE CAR. WE REPLACED THE AIRBAG SENSOR BUT THE PROBLEMS HAVE PERSISTED. GM SAYS THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH THE AIRBAGS DESPITE THE AIRBAG LIGHT RANDOMLY COMING ON. RECENTLY THE HYBRID BATTERY HAS STOPPED FUNCTIONING PROPERLY AGAIN. WE FEEL TOTALLY UNSAFE DRIVING THIS CAR AND GM DOESN'T SEEM TO CARE. GM SHOULD PAY FOR ANY AND ALL REPAIRS THAT MAY BE NEEDED. OF COURSE, CONVENIENTLY FOR THEM, THEY SAY THE 8 YEAR/100,000 MILE HYBRID/POWERTRAIN WARRANTY HAS EXPIRED EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE NOT YET REACHED 100,000 MILES. *TR

ALSO AFTER TURNING THE KEY TO THE START POSITION, THE KEY DID NOT RECOIL BACK TO THE ON POSITION AS IT DOES SO CUSTOMARILY. THE KEY JUST REMAINS IN THE START POSITION BY ITSELF. MY VEHICLE HAD TO BE TOWED TO ALEXANDER/GMC/CADILLAC AUTO CENTER IN OXNARD, CA. I WAS TOLD THAT I AM GOING TO BE CHARGED CLOSE TO $600 (PARTS & LABOR). ANOTHER ISSUE I HAVE IS THAT THE DRIVERS AIRBAG LIGHT IS ALWAYS ON. SEVERAL YEARS AGO, I TOOK IT TO THE SAME SHOP MENTIONED ABOVE, AND WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS NO FAULT CODE WHEN THEY SCANNED THE VEHICLE'S COMPUTER VIA OBD-II. HOWEVER, AND TO THIS DAY, THE AIRBAG LIGHT CONTINUED TO BE LIT, GIVING ME AN UNSETTLING FEELING. *TR

OF 2013 THE BATTERY IN MY VUE DIED AND I PURCHASED A NEW ONE FROM BUMIN CHEVROLET IN CULVER CITY, CA. AT THAT TIME THEY TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY CAR AND SINCE I HAD AN EXTENDED WARRANTY, I SHOULD TAKE THE CAR BACK TO BOULEVARD CADILLAC. I TOOK THE CAR THERE IN DEC. OF 2013 AND THEY TOLD ME THE AIRBAG AND SEAT BELT SENSORS HAD GONE OUT, THEY WERE NOT COVERED BY MY PORTFOLIO ELITE EXTENDED WARRANTY INS. POLICY NO. ? BOULEVARD CADILLAC DID NOT RETURN BUT POLICY BUT I CAN PROVE THAT I PURCHASED A POLICY. BOULEVARD CADILLAC TOLD ME THE AIRBAG AND SEAT BELT SENSORS WERE NOT COVERED AND IT WILL COST $1600.00 TO REPAIR. I DID NOT HAVE THE MONEY DUE TO FINANCIAL HARDSHIPS AND A CHILD INC COLLEGE. NOW THE SUNROOF IS FLOODING AND I DO NOT HAVE MY EXTENDED WARRANTY POLICY TO SEE IF THE SUNROOF IS COVERED. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER GM PRODUCT=VEHICLE!!! *TR
