TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A DOMETIC REFRIGERATOR, MODEL RM2852. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE ON THE REFRIGERATOR, WHICH STATED THAT IT COULD POSSIBLY CATCH FIRE. HE BELIEVES THAT THE REMEDY FOR THIS RECALL WOULD NOT PREVENT A FIRE IN THE EVENT THAT THE BOILER TUBE IGNITES. INSTEAD, THE ACTUAL REPAIR WOULD ONLY CONTAIN THE FIRE, RATHER THAN PREVENT THE FIRE. THERE HAD BEEN NO FAILURE TO DATE. THE NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER AND PART NUMBER WERE UNKNOWN. UPDATED 10-29-08 *BF THE CONSUMER STATED THE REFRIGERATOR SHOWED SIGNS OF LEAKAGE AND THE REFRIGERATOR WAS NOT COOLING PROPERLY. THE ELECTRIC SPEEDOMETER WOULD GET STUCK AT 40 MILES OR SO, THE VEHICLE LEANED TO THE RIGHT SIDE AT TIMES, WHICH CAUSED A STABILIZATION PROBLEM, THE WINDOW COVERINGS WOULD NOT STAY UP DURING VIBRATION OF DRIVING , THE DOUBLE HUNG WINDOW LOCATED NEAR THE ENTRY DOOR WITH A SCREEN ON THE TOP PIECE WOULD CONSTANTLY FALL DOWN, THE BACK UP CAMERA WOULD BECOME UNPLUGGED WITH VIBRATION OR WOULD GET KNOCKED OFF WHEN THE TURN SIGNALS WERE ENGAGED, THERE WAS NO WATER PRESSURE VALVE SYSTEM AND THE WATER WOULD CUT OFF, THERE WAS A WATER LEAK IN THE WATER SYSTEM, THE VERTICAL VINYL STRIP CRACKED IN THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE, AND THE HYDRAULIC LINES WERE HANGING FREELY AND RUBBING THE FRONT WHEEL.
