VEHICLE RAN OUT OF GAS. REFILLED VEHICLE AND RESTARTED IT. DROVE VEHICLE TO FRIEND'S HOUSE & THEN IT DIED OUT AGAIN. VEHICLE NEEDED GAS AGAIN. VEHICLE FAILED TO TURN OVER. ALSO, DISTRIBUTOR CAP GOT WET & HAD TO BE REPLACED. STALLING PROBLEM STILL EXISTS & WOULD NOT MAKE A CATCHING NOISE WHEN TRYING TO START IT.*AK

1990 TOYOTA CAMRY HAS HAD DIFFICULTY STARTING AFTER A RAIN SINCE 1994. ONCE VEHICLE HAS STARTED IT RUNS JERKY AND TENDS TO CUT OFF EASILY.

WHILE DRIVING AT 20MPH SMOKE WAS NOTICED COMING FROM PASSENGER'S DOOR PANEL. CONSUMER PULLED TO THE SIDE AND DISCONNECTED BATTERY, AND PULLED THE PANEL OFF. FIRE WAS NOTICED ON THE WIRES AND SOLENOID WAS VERY HOT. FIRE DAMAGED ALL FOUR LOCK ACTUATORS AND RELAY. DEALER WAS CONTACTED. *AK

CONSUMER SAYS THAT THE 7.5 FUSE LOCATED IN THE FRONT ON THE DRIVERS SIDE OF THE VEHICLE KEEPS BLOWING OUT, AND WHEN IT BLOWS OUT THE VEHICLE WINDOWS AND LOCKS STOP OPERATING. DEALER HAS BEEN CONTACTED. *AK

ELECTRICAL WINDOWS/SEAT BELTS, AND THE AIR CONDITIONER DO NOT WORK, THE SAME PROBLEM OCCURRED ONE YEAR AGO, THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED AT LOCAL DEALER AND PROBLEM HAS REOCCURRED. DEALER STATED THAT THE PROBLEM WAS A WIRE IN THE DOOR/A FUSE, AND A SHORT IN THE HARNESS. *AK
