The message read "low steering power," low battery, and then steering lock. I tried to turn off the engine button, but there was no response. I pressed it three times, put the handle stop on the park, and then started it again. My car was parked in the middle of the road, causing a traffic jam behind me, and I couldn't get out because it was dangerous. The second time in March 10.2023 3pm. after the stop at the light and anything like first time... It was rainy both times. I'm worried it's dangerous on the highway. Lost all acceleration going up a hill. Pressed the gas pedal to the floor as I had a line of cars behind me. Nothing. Placed vehicle in neutral and back into drive. Was slowly able to proceed forward at about 10 mph until top of hill where gained speed. Has since happened 2 additional times. No warnings and happens at take off and hills. I did ask service department at dealership where I purchased to have it looked over. Nothing. I feel I could easily be hurt.
