I purchase these tires 07/21/2021 (215/ R16) in the amount of $387.14 from Discount tire at 875 S. Randall RD Elgin IL , after I purchase the tires TPMS- indicator dash light kept coming on i was going back to Discount tire almost 3x a week as of today date I'm losing 25% air pressure in all 4 tires Discount tire keep just putting air in and giving me the runaround about these tire's trying to get myself to buy $$$$ more of other things telling me it will help the tire's but before i purchase these tires i had NO problem with my TPMS system I let Discount tires salesperson talk me into buying new tire sensor but it did NO GOOD , it didn't HELP at all !

THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND WAS NOT ABLE TO CONFIRM WHEN THE PARTS WERE TO BECOME AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT HE DID NOT RECEIVE THE RECALL NOTIFICATION. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.

IN APPROXIMATELY THE SUMMER OF 2012 (I DO NOT RECALL THE EXACT DATE),TOYOTA RECALLED THE SPARE TIRE SUSPENSION CABLE, BUT DID NOT HAVE A REPAIR AT THE TIME. I WAS INCONVENIENCED FOR MONTHS WITH THE SPARE TIRE IN THE BACK OF MY VAN. THE REPAIR WAS EVENTUALLY COMPLETED, HOWEVER, A RECALL FOR THE REPAIR WAS ISSUED IN THE SUMMER OF 2014. THE SPARE TIRE WAS REMOVED AND AGAIN PLACED IN THE BACK OF MY VAN. TOYOTA IS NOW STATING THAT THERE WILL BE NO REPAIR AVAILABLE UNTIL THE SUMMER OF 2015. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE AND NOT UNDERSTANDABLE. IT IS SIMPLY AN ATTACHMENT FOR THE SPARE TIRE. AN OFFICIAL COMPLAINT HAS BEEN FILED WITH TOYOTA, AS WELL. I NEED THE SPACE WHERE THE SPARE TIRE CURRENTLY HAS TO BE, HOWEVER, I DO NOT FEEL SAFE WITHOUT IT IN MY VEHICLE. *TR

MY SPARE TIRE FELL OFF MY VEHICLE WHILE I WAS DRIVING ON I91 IN VERMONT BETWEEN EXITS 5 AND 6 . THE VEHICLE FOLLOWING ME, WHICH WAS BEING DRIVEN BY MY HUSBAND, STRUCK THE TIRE. IT BECAME LODGED UNDER HIS CAR DAMAGING THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM. AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT WE DID NOT REALIZE THAT IT WAS THE TIRE FROM MY CAR. WE PULLED OVER TO THE SHOULDER WE WERE ABLE TO DISLODGE THE TIRE AND CONTINUED ON.AFTER DISCUSSING WHAT HAPPENED AND INSPECTING THE CAR DID WE REALIZE THAT IT WAS MY SPARE. THERE WAS A RECALL FOR THIS COMPLETED BY TOYOTA IN 2011. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION WITH THESE CARS AND WERE VERY FORTUNATE THAT SOMETHING WORSE DID NOT OCCUR. WE REPORTED IT TO TOYOTA AND ARE VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THEIR RESPONSE SO FAR. *TR

TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT STARTED TO COME ON WHEN ALL TIRE PRESSURES ACTUALLY ARE NORMAL. THE DEALERSHIP CAN'T RESOLVE ISSUE. THEN I WENT TO THE WEBSITE AND FOUND OUT NHTSA HAS OPENED A PRELIMINARY EVALUATION REGARDING 2004 AND 2005 SIENNA TIRE PRESSURE AND REGLULATING SYSTEM. WHEN DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY THE TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT IS ON EVEN IF THE PRESSURE IS OK. IT IS IMPORTANT TO HAVE IT FUNCTION CORRECTLY FOR A VEHICLE WITH A RFT TIRE. I BELIEVE THIS NEEDS TO BE RECALLED FOR SAFETY. OTHERWISE YOU MIGHT NOT KNOW WHEN THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH THE TIRE PRESSURE. *JS

WHILE HAVING SERVICE PERFORMED ON MY 2007 SIENNA THIS PAST SUMMER, I WAS TOLD BY THE SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE THAT THE SPARE TIRE ON MY VAN NEEDED TO BE REMOVED BECAUSE OF A DEFECTIVE CABLE THAT WOULD ALLOW IT TO DROP TO THE ROADWAY FROM THE UNDERSIDE OF THE VAN'S FRAME. AT THAT TIME I WAS TOLD THAT A RECALL WOULD SOON BE ANNOUNCED SO THAT I WOULD RECEIVE A REPLACEMENT CABLE AND COULD ONCE AGAIN DRIVE WITH A SPARE TIRE. IT HAS BEEN SEVERAL MONTHS NOW SINCE MY SPARE TIRE WAS REMOVED, AND I HAVE RECEIVED NO INFORMATION WHATSOEVER FROM TOYOTA REGARDING THIS ISSUE. I AM FRANKLY UNCOMFORTABLE DRIVING WITHOUT A SPARE TIRE AND CONSIDER THIS A PERSONAL SAFETY ISSUE. *TR

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 TOYOTA SIENNA EQUIPPED WITH DUNLOP SP4000 TIRES. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER TIRE WAS BULGING ALONG THE SIDEWALL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE EACH TIRE, EXCEPT THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE TIRE, WAS REPLACED. APPROXIMATELY SEVEN MONTHS LATER, THE FAILURE RECURRED ON BOTH REAR TIRES. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE BOTH REAR TIRES WERE REPLACED. THE FAILURE RECURRED A SECOND TIME WITHIN THE NEXT SEVEN MONTHS ON THE REAR DRIVER SIDE TIRE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE IT WAS IN THE PROCESS OF HAVING THE TIRE REPLACED. AFTER EACH FAILURE, THE TIRES WERE REPLACED WITH THE EXACT SAME TYPE AS THE PREVIOUS TIRE (DUNLOP SP4000). THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 35,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 73,000.

2007 TOYOTA SIENNA - EXCESSIVE TIRE WEAR. I HAVE 83,000 MILES ON MY SIENNA. DURING THAT TIME, I HAVE HAD TO REPLACE TIRES 5 TIMES WHICH AVERAGES ABOUT 17,000 MILES PER SET OF TIRES. I HAVE VOICE MY COMPLAINT TO THE LOCAL DEALER AND TOYOTA CORP AND HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THERE IS NO SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM. THE LOCAL TOYOTA SERVICE DEPARTMENT STATED THIS IS COMMON WITH SIENNA'S AND THAT THEY RARELY SEE A VEHICLE WITH MORE THAN 20,000 MILES ON A SET OF TIRES. THE TIRES WILL START TO 'CUP' AT 10,000 MILES REGARDLESS OF FREQUENCY OF ROTATION. THE TIRE'S WEAR RAPIDLY ON THE INSIDE TREAD WALL AND REQUIRE VERY CLOSE MONITORING. I HAVE USED TOP LINE MODELS OF TIRES LIKE BRIDGESTON, MICHELIN AND DUNLOP ALL WITH THE SAME RESULT. *TR

WE PURCHASED A 2007 TOYOTA SIENNA XLE AWD IN MAY OF 2007. IN NOV 2007, THE LOW TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT CAME ON. I CHECKED THE TIRES AND THEY WERE IN FACT LOW. WE FILLED THE TIRES WITH AIR. A COUPLE OF WEEKS LATER, THE SAME THING HAPPENED. WE PUT AIR IN THE TIRES AND MADE AN APPOINTMENT TO BRING THE CAR INTO THE TOYOTA DEALERSHIP. TOYOTA OF BELLEVUE CHECKED THE TIRES WED DEC 5, 2007. THEY CHECKED ALL FOUR TIRES AND FOUND NOTHING WRONG. ON WED NIGHT MAY 28, 2008, THE SAME THING HAPPENED. THE RIGHT FRONT TIRE WAS AT OR BELOW 15 PSI, THE OTHER THREE TIRES WERE AT OR JUST UNDER 20 PSI. I FILLED ALL FOUR TIRES AND THE LIGHT WENT OUT (WHEN I FILLED THE RIGHT FRONT TIRE, I STARTED THE CAR TO SEE IF THE WARNING INDICATOR WOULD GO OUT; IT DID NOT GO OUT, UNTIL I FILLED ALL FOUR TIRES BACK UP TO NORMAL PRESSURE. ON MAY 31, 2008 WE BROUGHT THE CAR INTO TOYOTA OF BELLEVUE AND THEY TOOK ALL FOUR TIRES OFF AND INSPECTED, BUT FOUND NO PROBLEMS. THEY DID NOT REMOVE THE TIRES FROM THE RIMS, NOR DID THEY SUBMERGE THE TIRES IN WATER, NOR DID THEY REPLACE THE VALVE STEMS. THEY DID NOT FIND ANY FOREIGN OBJECTS THAT MAY HAVE PIERCED THE TIRES. CALLED DUNLOP TIRES ON 6/3/08 CASE#976284. ON 6/4/08 WE BROUGHT THE CAR INTO ELLIOTT TIRE & SERVICE. THEY REMOVED ALL OF THE TIRES AND CHECKED THEM. STATED IT COULD BE A FAULTY PRESSURE SENSOR. ON 8/31/08 ON WAY TO EVERETT, THE TIRE LIGHT CAME ON AGAIN. CAR SAT OUTSIDE AT NIGHT AND LIGHT IS STILL ON 9/1/08. AGAIN THE SAME THING HAPPENED IN JAN 2009. WE REQUESTED THE DEALER TO REPLACE THE WHOLE TIRE SENSOR SYSTEM REPEATEDLY. THEY REFUSED EVERY TIME. THIS CAR IS NOT SAFE. THE TIRE SENSORS ALLOW AIR TO LEAK AND THE TIRES BECOME LOW DESPITE THE FACT THAT WE FILL THEM EVERY WEEK. *TR

WE BOUGHT A VAN ON 9/05/08 ON 9/13/08 LOW PRESSURE LIGHT CAME ON CHECKED MY TIRE THERE WAS A BULGE ON THE EDGE OF THE FRONT DRIVERS SIDE TIRE THAT PULLED IT AWAY FROM THE RIM DEALERSHIP SAID IT WAS A ROAD HAZARD, AND WOULD NOT REPLACE IT. VAN HAD APPROXIMATELY 18500 MILES ON IT. WE HAD TO PAY $136.00 FOR ANOTHER TIRE. TODAY 9/26 I HAD TO TRAVEL 50+ MILES WITH MY TWO BABIES AND 3 OLDER KIDS IN THE VAN AND A BULGE APPEARED ON THE BACK DRIVERS SIDE TIRE IN THE EXACT SAME PLACE AS THE OTHER TIRE THAT DID IT JUST A LITTLE OVER A WEEK AGO. THIS TIME THE VAN HAD APPROXIMATELY 19424 MILES ON IT THIS IS NOT A ROAD HAZARD!!!! IT HAS TO BE A DEFECT AND NO ONE IS LISTENING. THE DEALERSHIP SAID THEY PUT 4 BRAND NEW TIRES ON THE VAN BEFORE WE BOUGHT IT. *TR

TOYOTA SIENNA AND SUPPOSEDLY OTHER MODELS OF TOYOTAS HAVE A TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SYSTEM THAT DOES NOT WARN MECHANICS OF DAMAGE THAT WILL OCCUR TO SENSORS WHEN TIRE IS CHANGED. ONCE DAMAGED WARNING SYSTEM WILL NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY. TOYOTA CHARGES $134.00 PER SENSOR PLUS LABOR. WITHOUT PROPER WARNING LABELS IT MUST BE ASSUMED THAT A LARGE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE ARE DRIVING AROUND WITH NON FUNCTIONING WARNING SYSTEMS AND/OR NUMEROUS INDIVIDUALS ARE BEING UNNECESSARILY CHARGED FOR REPAIRING ITEMS DAMAGED DUE TO TOYOTAS FAILURE TO WARN. I SUGGEST WARNING STICKERS ON WHEELS AND DOOR BY EXISTING TIRE PRESSURE STICKER. REALITY IS NO ONE SHOULD PAY OVER $500 PER CHANGE OF SET OF TIRES FOR BROKEN SENSORS WHEN A $.05 STICKER COULD HAVE AVOIDED IT. *TR

I HAVE A 2007 TOYOTA SIENNA LIMITED FOR ABOUT 5 MONTHS. ABOUT 2 MONTHS AGO THE TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT STARTED TO COME ON WHEN ALL TIRE PRESSURES ACTUALLY ARE NORMAL. SO FAR I HAD VISITED MY LOCAL DEALERSHIP 3 TIMES IN THE LAST FEW WEEKS. BUT THE PROBLEM STILL WAS NOT SOLVED BECAUSE THEY SEEM DON'T KNOW HOW TO FIX IT. BUT AFTER AWHILE, I GUESS MOST PEOPLE MIGHT INTEND TO NEGLECT THIS FALSE ALARM. BUT IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO HAVE IT FUNCTION CORRECTLY FOR A VEHICLE WITH A RFT TIRE.
