This Problem Across All Years
The drivers side mirror vibrates causing distortion that makes it difficult to judge distances on highways. This issue seems to be a structural defect in the door not the mirror. Multiple people are complaining about this. Many have had the mirror replaced only to still experience the issue myself included. I have test drove two brand new 2025 Sienna and the issue was present there as well. It is very much a safety issue.

The contact owns a 2025 Toyota Sienna. The contact stated while driving 65 MPH, the sunroof glass shattered. There was no warning light illuminated. The local dealer was contacted; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact was informed that the VIN was not under recall. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 275.

Wobbling vibration on exterior mirror, driver side. It looks like incoming vehicles shake sideways. This happens on any bumpy road and it is easier to observe at highway speeds. Also, every time I close the door, mirror shakes as it its loosely attached. Driverside mirror has too much play and shakes. There is no issue with play and shakes with passenger side mirror. Purchased on [XXX] Vehicle is available for inspection. The distorted image resulting from mirror wobbling affects driver's awareness of surroundings, visibility gets worse at nights/rain due to blurred lights. This can lead to an accident. My intuition when I first noticed was going to be a cold break, but I realized that it was the mirror wobbling causing it. The car coming behind was far enough and I was able to react. Summary of actions and requests to Toyota: I went to my dealership Crestmont Toyota, Pompton Plains, NJ and they have confirmed the play and wobble issue, however, they said it's the same thing with other 3 Sienna's they had on LOT. Dealership informed that this is how its manufactured and they can't do anything until TOYOTA issues a recall for this problem. First occurrence: Day one, driving back from the dealership. Driver side wing mirror vibrates at low speeds and worsens at highway speeds greatly affecting rear visibility. Passenger side has no vibration but drivers side is so severe it's difficult to make out anything in the mirror image.

The drivers mirror shakes every bump you hit so everything looks blury going above 30mph. This is a huge safety concern as you can't see cars clearly in the mirror. One of the second row seats also shakes considerably. I have brought it to the dealer multiple times and they will not fix it.

Dealership 1: Issue acknowledged by shop foreman , mirror changed but this did not fix the issue. Opened case with Toyota Brans Engagement and requested to work with a different dealership. This is the dealership where the car was purchased. Report wrongly stating rattled noise they weren't willing to correct it and pushed me to sign. 2. Dealership 2: Issue acknowledged again. Since mirror change did not fix issue shop foreman opened Dealer Product Request. 3. Current status: On 1/3/25 Toyota Brand Engagement advocate called to say that even though the shop foreman at the 1st and 2nd dealerships acknowledged the problem, the resolution was that it was a "normal" condition for the car.
