SO THERE HAS BEEN A RECALL FOR MY FRUCK FOR THE FRAME AND ALL UNDERCARIAGE VEING ROTTEN BECAUSE OF THE BAD STEAL USED THE YEAR AND OR YEARS OF MY TRUCK WAS SUPPOSED TO BE PULLED OFF THE ROAD AND GOTTEN A NEW TRUCK TO ITS EQUAL OR MONEY OR ( NOT SURE BUT IF U REALLYLIKED THE TRUCK REEFRAMED AND UNDERWORKD )OTHER YEARS NOT SURE ABOUT 99 ABOVE TO CERTAIN YEARS 2ND OR 3RD OR ORIGINALOWNER(WHICH WENT FOR MY SAME YEARS) THEY TOOK THE WHOLE TRUCK IN AND REDID ALL THE UNDERCARAGE FRAME ROTTEN BREAK LINES. SO I AM THE SECOND OWNER WHEN FIRST BOUGHT FRAME WAS PAINTED BLACK SO I DID NOT SEE ANY ROT. ABOUT A YEAR OR SO LATER THE ROT STARTED SHOWING WORSE AND WORSE IVE HAVE TO WELD PLATES ON IT ALREADY REPLACE THE REAREND AND SUSPENSION AND BREAKLINE THE ROTTED (AND ALMOST MADE ME GET KILLED DRIVING WHEN THEY WENT OUT. SO I FINALY THOUGHT AND HEARD ABOUT THIS RECALL AND HAVE BEEN FIGHTING TOYOTA EVER SINCE THEY SAID I WAS TWO MONTHES LATE BUT I TOLD THEM I NEVER GOT A LLETTER SO HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO HAVE KNOWN JUST LUCKLY A FRIEND AT WORK HAD HIS DONT. A NEWER YEAR WHERE THEY REDID HIS HOLE UNDERCARAGE.. NOW MY FRAME IS JUST GETTING WORSE AND WORSE AND OTHER PROBLEMS ARE ACURING WITH THEE UNDERCARAGE.. I HAVE MANY OTHER PICTURES I HAVE TEIED TO MAINTIAN IT BEST I CAN BECAUSE I DO LOVE TOYOTA BUT VERY UNHAPPPY WITH HOW THEY HAVE HELPED ME
1995 TOYOTA TACOMA. REAR DIFFERENTIAL HAS RUSTED OUT IS IS NOT ABLE TO BE REPAIRED. A FRIEND WITH SAME VEHICLE HAS EXPERIENCED THE SAME PROBLEM. DEALER SAID THERE ARE NO RECALLS AND IT IS NOT COVERED UNDER RECENT FRAME RUST RECALL BY TOYOTA. *TR

CONSUMER STATED THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE STARTED BEING ENGAGED TO ENGINE PRIOR TO PARKING THE VEHICLE, THEN AN HOUR LATER WHILE VEHICLE WAS PARKED WITH NO KEY IN THE IGNITION THE VEHICLE CRASHED INTO THE GARAGE DOOR AND INTO AN EMBANKMENT AND DID NOT STOP UNTIL THE BATTERY DIED.*YH
WHEN PARKED AND IN GEAR WITH ENGINE OFF VEHICLE WILL ROLL BACKWARDS. THIS OCCURRED ON RANDOM BASIS. HOWEVER, IT HAPPENED 4 TIMES IN ONE DAY, AND TWO INCIDENTS WERE ON LEVEL GROUND WHERE VEHICLE ROLLED 3 FEET. DEALERSHIP INFORMED CONSUMER THAT PROBLEM WAS DUE TO CONSUMER NOT USING EMERGENCY BRAKE ON LEVEL GROUND. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION/ATTACHMENTS. *AK

SQUEAKING COMING FROM REAR OR VEHICLE ESPECIALLY OVER SPEED BUMPS, LEAF SPRINGS?. FACTORY DIFFERENTIAL FAILED AT 65000MILES, DEALER REFUSED TO CONSIDER WARRANTY, REPLACED WITH USED WITH 16000 MILES, IT FAILED AT 127000MILES. FACT. TRANS 2CD GEAR SYNCRO FAILED AT 124000 MI. REPLACED WITH '96 UNIT 16000MI. 3RD GEAR SYNCRO IS FAILING, I DO NOT TOW OR HAUL WITH TRUCK. IF I COULD AFFORD IT I'D GET RID OF IT, NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS.

TRANSMISSION DOWNSHIFTING TO 2ND GEAR FOR NO NORMAL REASON AT 70+ MPH WHEN GAS PEDAL IS RELEASED, CAUSING REAR TIRES TO LOCKUP AND LOOSE TRACTION RESULTING IN LOSS OF CONTROL OF VEHICLE. VEHICLE HAS BEEN IN FOR REPAIR MANY TIMES, INCLUDING INSTALLATION OF NEW TRANSMISSION. FAULT STILL EXISTS BUT TO A LESSER DEGREE.
TRANSMISSION HAS BEEN SLIPPING SINCE PURCHASE.
THE 5 SPEED TRANSMISSION STICK SHIFT WILL NOT STAY IN GEAR. PLEASE GIVE MORE DETAILS. *AK
