Check engine light came on suddenly and acceleration slowed… truck will no longer go over 30 mph. Replaced radiator, driver air injection module, and regularly changed oil. no check engine light now the injection module was replaced but truck still will not go over 30 mph or 1800-2000 rpm’s.

The contact owns a 2007 Toyota Tundra. The contact initially received a recall notice for NHTSA Campaign Number: 09V388000(Vehicle Speed Control); the vehicle was taken to the dealer and the recall was serviced. Recently, the contact stated that as his wife was exiting their driveway, the vehicle independently accelerated without warning. The contact's wife turned the vehicle into her yard where she hit four trees and then crashed into a big tree which stopped the vehicle. The air bags deployed once she crashed into the bigger tree. The contact's wife was thrown to the right and hit her head on the rearview mirror. His wife was taken to the hospital by ambulance where she was treated for the head wound and back pain. She later sought treatment from an orthopedic doctor where they discovered three compressed fractures to her vertebrae(T1, T2, and T3). A police report was filed. The contact did his own investigation into the accident and discovered that black box had recorded that the vehicle's speed was 42.3 MPH at the time of the failure. Both the dealer and the manufacturer were notified of the failure but both offered no assistance. The vehicle remained in the contact's possession. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 164,000.

I HAVE A 5.7L 2007 TOYOTA TUNDRA. IT HAS BEEN RAINING REAL BAD IN TEXAS AND THE OTHER DAY THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON WHEN I WAS GOING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AND IT LOST POWER. I TOOK IT AND HAD IT CHECKED. I HAVE AN ERROR CODE P0419. I HAVE READ MULTIPLE INSTANCES ONLINE AND AN EXTENDED WARRANTY WAS ISSUES FOR 10 YEARS 150K MILES, BUT I AM OUT BY TIME, AND I ONLY HAVE 88K MILES. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUES AS IF I WAS PASSING SOMEONE AND LOST POWER, I COULD HAVE BEEN IN A WRECK. THIS HAS BEEN A KNOWN ISSUE BY TOYOTA AND NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED BY A GENERAL RECALL.

IN ADDITION, THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM, TRACTION CONTROL, AND CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE SECONDARY PUMP AND SWITCHING VALVE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE LOCAL DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. MY TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT HAS CAME ON AND STAYS ON, MY VSC LIGHT CONTINUOUSLY FLASHES. THE CODE THAT IT KEEPS SENDING IS P2440 AND P2441 (SECONDARY INJECTION). I HAD WENT OVERSEAS WITH THE MILITARY FOR TWO YEARS AND CAME BACK LAST YEAR TO CHANGE THE BATTERY AND THIS STARTED. THE TRUCK ONLY HAS 75,000 MILES. THIS IS ALL THE TIME, DOESN'T MATTER STOPPED, GOING, HIGH SPEED, LOW SPEED.

I HAD MY VEHICLE REPAIRED BASED ON THE 2010 TOYOTA RECALL NOTICE I RECEIVED ABOUT THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL. THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL NOW SOMETIMES STICKS IN THE HALF-OPEN POSITION AND REFUSES TO RETURN ON ITS OWN. I HAVE USED THE TOE OF MY FOOT TO PULL THE PEDAL BACK TO THE NON-ACCELATERATING POSITION. WHEN THE VEHICLE IS STOPPED, IF YOU TOUCH THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL, THE RPMS WILL INCREASE AND DECREASE ON THEIR OWN, AND EVEN IF THE VEHICLE IS IN PARK POSITION. THIS DOES NOT OCCUR EVERY TIME YOU OPERATE THE VEHICLE, BUT RANDOMLY, AND WITH NO PATTERN. THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL HAS 3/4 TO 1 INCH OF "FREE PLAY" BEFORE IT RESPONDS AND FEEDS GAS TO THE ENGINE. OBVIOUSLY, THIS COULD BE DANGEROUS, ESPECIALLY IF SOMEONE BESIDES MYSELF WAS OPERATING THE VEHICLE. TOYOTA INC DOES NOT SEEM TO UNDERSTAND WHY THEIR "FIX" TO YOUR ORIGINAL RECALL ABOUT THIS DOES NOT WORK, OR THEY HAVE CREATED AN ADDITIONAL PROBLEM WITH THEIR "FIX" TO THE 2010 RECALL.

DIDN'T NOTICE TILL AFTER A MILE OF DRIVING BUT MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, VSC, AND 4LO WERE FLASHING. I COULD NOT ACCELERATE PAST 50 MILES PER HOUR. UNFORTUNATELY THE TOYOTA DEALERSHIP WAS CLOSED AND I TOOK IT IN TO AUTO SHOP TO GET THE CODES SCANNED TO PROVIDE TO TOYOTA DEALERSHIP. IN ORDER TO GET HOME I HAD TO GET THE CODES CLEARED OUT TO GET IT OUT OF LIMP MODE BUT I DROVE IT TO THE TOYOTA DEALERSHIP THE NEXT DAY AND PROVIDED THE CODES AND NECESSARY INFORMATION. UNFORTUNATELY THEY NEEDED TO GET THE CODES OFF THEMSELVES I EXPLAINED THAT THERE WAS A 2007 AND 2008 TUNDRA ? TSB 032908 BUT THEY COULDN'T VERIFY THE PROBLEM AND TOLD ME THAT NEXT TIME IT HAPPENS TO BRING IT IN WITHOUT RESETTING THE CODES. WELL IT HAPPENED AGAIN TODAY ALMOST A MONTH LATER. I'M TAKING THE VEHICLE TO A LOCAL DEALERSHIP OTHER THAN THE INITIAL ONE AS TOWING CHARGES WOULD BE OUTRAGES. I HAD 2 OCCURRENCES OF UNINTENTIONAL ACCELERATION. BOTH EVENTS TRANSPIRED AS FOLLOWS: 1) APPLIED BRAKES IN PREPARATION OF STARTING ENGINE AND ENGAGING TRANSMISSION. 2) STARTED ENGINE, PUT IT IN "DRIVE" AND ENGINE SUDDENLY ACCELERATED AND JUMPED FORWARD. 3) I IMMEDIATELY APPLIED BRAKES WITH MAXIMUM EFFORT TO COUNTER THE ACCELERATION. 4) THREW SHIFTER INTO "NEUTRAL" WHILE ENGINE WAS MAXING RPMS, THEN I SHUT DOWN ENGINE. BOTH EVENTS WERE CLOSE CALLS. IF I HAD NOT HAD PRESENCE OF MIND I WOULD HAVE DESTROYED THE VEHICLE AND PROPERTY. TOYOTA REPLACED MY ACCELERATOR PEDAL BACK WHEN THEY HAD CARS THAT WOULD UNINTENTIONALLY ACCELERATE. NOTHING HAD BEEN PROVEN WRONG WITH MY PEDAL, THERE WERE NO SYMPTOMS. HOWEVER, TUNDRA WAS DOING A NATIONWIDE RECALL IN THE NAME OF SAFETY CONCERNS. WHEN THE CAR WAS RETURNED TO ME, THE PEDAL WAS JUST FLOPPY AND SENSITIVE AS COULD BE. THE CAR WOULD JUST LAUNCH ITSELF FORWARD. HITTING BUMPS ON THE ROAD CAUSED THE CAR TO ACCELERATE. THIS RECALL WAS DONE AT 28K MILES. NOW AT 65K MILES, WITH MY FAMILY IN THE CAR. I WAS AT A STOP LIGHT AND WENT TO ACCELERATE. THERE WAS NO FRICTION OR PEDAL FEEL WHATSOEVER, THE CAR ACCELERATED AND THANK GOD DUE TO RAIN, INSTEAD OF BEING PROPELLED, I SKID FORWARD ABOUT A FOOT. THERE WAS A MASSIVE AMOUNT OF SENSITIVITY AND PEDAL FEEL WAS GONE. ***THIS ON THE SUPPOSED "FIXED" PEDAL. I TOOK THE CAR TO TOYOTA DEALERSHIP IN GAINESVILLE, GATORLAND TOYOTA WHERE THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED. THEY TESTED THE CAR AND BECAUSE THEY COULDN'T REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM, THEY STATED THEY WOULD DO NOTHING ABOUT IT. NOT EVEN REPLACE THE PEDAL AGAIN. THERE ARE PLENTY OF TOYOTA OWNERS ON THE INTERNET COMPLAINING THAT THINGS ARE STILL WRONG WITH THE ACCELERATOR PEDALS AND NOTHING IS BEING DONE ABOUT IT. THIS IS A RECURRING PROBLEM. INITIALLY, MY TRUCK WAS TAKEN TO A TOYOTA DEALER SERVICE CENTER ON 3/15/2012 TO AN ISSUE WITH MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, SLIP INDICATOR LIGHT, 4-WHEEL DRIVE (4LO), VSC OFF ALL CAME ON, SLUGGISH ACCELERATION/LOSS OF ACCELERATION OCCURRED WHEN DRIVEN & MY GAS MILEAGE/FUEL EFFICIENCY DECREASED (MY TRUCK APPEARED TO 'RUN RICH'). INITIALLY THE WARNING/INDICATOR LIGHTS WOULD OCCASIONALLY STAY ON WHEN THE TRUCK WAS STARTED, OTHER TIMES THEY WOULD NOT. EVENTUALLY, THEY JUST STAYED ON WHENEVER THE TRUCK WAS STARTED. WHEN SERVICED, I WAS TOLD THAT THE ISSUE WAS COVERED BY MY WARRANTY & THE SECONDARY AIR SWITCHING VALVE WAS REPLACED WHICH SHOULD HAVE FIXED THE ISSUE. JUST OVER A YEAR LATER, 3/19/2013, THE SAME ISSUE HAS OCCURRED AFTER BEING TOLD THE PROBLEM WAS FIXED! THE MILEAGE THAT THIS OCCURRED AT WAS AROUND 44,000. THE PROBLEM WAS PRESENTING IN THE SAME WAY - LOSS OF ACCELERATION/SLUGGISH ACCELERATION (EXTREMELY DANGEROUS NOT TO HAVE ACCELERATION WHILE TRAVELING ON A HIGHWAY/INTERSTATE), THE SAME WARNING/INDICATOR LIGHTS CAME ON & THE GAS MILEAGE/FUEL EFFICIENCY DECREASED BECAUSE THE TRUCK IS 'RUNNING RICH' AGAIN. TOOK IT TO A HONDA DEALERSHIP SERVICE CENTER TO MAKE SURE I WOULD BE ABLE TO DRIVE HOME. THE SERVICE TECHNICIAN GAVE THE ERROR CODE OF P2440 WHICH IS AN ERROR CODE FOR THE AIR INTAKE PUMP. HONDA DEALERSHIP WAS UNABLE TO FIX THE PROBLEM BECAUSE OF THE MAKE OF TRUCK. TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE SAME DEALERSHIP WHERE THIS PROBLEM WAS INITIALLY DIAGNOSED & 'FIXED' THE FIRST TIME. HAVE BEEN TOLD BY THE SERVICE TECHNICIAN THAT THE ISSUE IS THE SAME PROBLEM AS LAST TIME. HOWEVER, THIS TECHNICIAN HAS INFORMED ME THAT THE REASON THIS PROBLEM HAS OCCURRED YET AGAIN, IS BECAUSE THERE IS A PASSENGER SIDE & A DRIVER SIDE PART. I STARTED MY TRUCK UP YESTERDAY JUST RANDOMLY TO GO TO THE STORE. AS SOON AS I STARTED IT A BUNCH OF WARNING LIGHTS WENT OFF. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON, THE 4WD LO LIGHT WAS BLINKING, THE VSC OFF LIGHT WAS BLINKING, AND THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT WAS ON. I THEN TURNED THE VEHICLE OFF AND LET IT SIT FOR A FEW MINUTES. I TURNED THE TRUCK BACK ON AND THE SAME WARNING LIGHTS WERE STILL ON. I THEN PULLED OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY TO GO TO A FRIENDS HOUSE WHO HAS A LITTLE COMPUTER THAT TELLS YOU WHAT ERRORS ARE GOING OFF WHEN YOUR CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON LIKE AN AUTOBODY. AS I PULLED ONTO THE MAIN ROAD AND PRESSED ON THE ACCELERATOR THE TRUCK WOULD BARELY GO. THE ENGINE SOUNDED LIKE IT USUALLY DOES BUT THE TRUCK WOULD HARDLY ACCELERATE. WHEN I FINALLY GOT TO MY FRIENDS HOUSE HE PLUGGED THE COMPUTER IN AND IT GAVE ME AN ERROR CODE OF P2440. ONCE I LOOKED MORE INTO IT I FOUND THAT IT WAS THE AIR INDUCTION PUMP THAT WAS MALFUNCTIONING. FURTHER RESEARCH ONLINE I FOUND THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH TUNDRA'S WITH MILEAGE BETWEEN 40K AND 60K. MY BIGGEST CONCERN IS WHY THE VEHICLE IS NOT ACCELERATING LIKE IT SUPPOSED TO. MANY OTHER PEOPLE HAVE THE SAME CONCERN. THAT IS A HUGE SAFETY HAZARD TO ME. WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF THAT WOULD JUST ALL OF A SUDDEN SHUT MY ENGINE DOWN TO THE SLOW CRAWL THAT IT IS DOING IF I AM ON A TURNPIKE IN HEAVY TRAFFIC. I WOULD BELIEVE THAT THERE WOULD DEFINITELY BE AN ACCIDENT WHICH I AM SURE IT HAS HAPPENED BEFORE. THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBERS: 09V388000 (VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL:ACCELERATOR PEDAL) AND NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 10V017000 (VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL:ACCELERATOR PEDAL). ONE MONTH AFTER THE RECALL REPAIRS WERE PERFORMED, WHILE DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE, THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY REDLINED AND WENT SIDEWAYS IN THE MIDDLE OF A FOUR-LANE HIGHWAY. THE CONSUMER STATED HE TRAVELING AT 65 MPH, WHEN SUDDENLY THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED TO 95 MPH. THE CONSUMER MANAGED TO CORRECT THE DIRECTION OF THE TRUCK AND THE ACCELERATION SUDDENLY STOPPED AND HE REGAINED CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. DURING THAT TIME, THE CRUISE CONTROL WAS NOT ACTIVATED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS PREVIOUSLY REPAIRED UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 10V017000 (VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL: ACCELERATOR PEDAL). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT FURTHER REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 23,000.

APPROXIMATELY THREE WEEKS AGO I HAD THE ACCELERATOR RECALL REPAIR WORK COMPLETED ON MY 2007 TOYOTA TUNDRA, AFTER, I NOTICED RANDOMLY WHILE I WAS STOPPED AT A LIGHT, INTERSECTION ETC. SERVICE TECH TOLD ME THAT THE MAIN COMPUTER PUT MY TRUCK INTO A "LIMP" MODE THUS PREVENTING ME TO COMPLETE THE ACCELERATION. HE ALSO STATED THAT HE COULDN'T GIVE ME A REASON WHY TOYOTA HAS PROGRAMMED THE COMPUTER TO FAIL INTO LIMP MODE WHEN THE PROBLEM WOULD NOT HURT THE TRUCK DURING NORMAL ACCELERATION. AFTER RESEARCHING THE WEB, I DISCOVERED MANY 2007 TO 2010 TOYOTA TUNDRA OWNERS HAVE EXPERIENCED THE SAME ISSUE. I USE CRUISE CONTROL A LOT BUT NO LONGER LEAVE IT ON WHEN USING PASSING GEAR. THE FIRST TIME INCIDENT, I WAS ABLE TO REGAIN SPEED CONTROL BY STOMPING ON BOTH THE BRAKE AND GAS PETALS. I WAS NEVER ABLE TO REGAIN SPEED CONTROL DURING THE SECOND INCIDENT. I HAD TO STAND ON THE BRAKE PEDAL WITH BOTH FEET AND PULL AGAINST THE STEERING WHEEL WHILE TRYING TO GET OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD SAFELY. ONCE OFF THE ROAD I WAS ABLE TO TURN OFF THE ENGINE. HE RECEIVED NOTIFICATION FROM TOYOTA ADVISING HIM THAT HIS VEHICLE WAS A PART OF THE TOYOTA ACCELERATOR PEDAL RECALL (SEE NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 10V017000) IN OCTOBER OF 2009. HE HAS BEEN IN CONTACT WITH HIS DEALER FROM OCTOBER 2009 TO FEBRUARY 2010 TO HAVE THE NECESSARY RECALL REPAIR PERFORMED. HE WAS TOLD THAT THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE AND THEY DID NOT KNOW WHEN THEY WOULD BECOME AVAILABLE. HE WAS ALSO ADVISED THAT THEY WOULD CONTACT HIM UPON RECEIVING THE NECESSARY PARTS. THE PHYSICAL PEDAL SEEMS TO STICK WHEN PRESSURE IS REDUCED (SLOWING OR DECELERATING) BUT POPS FREE ONCE MOST OF THE PRESSURE HAS BEEN RELEASED. I TRIED TO CALL AAA BUT WAS UNABLE TO CORRECTLY DIAL MY CELL PHONE AS I WAS STILL TOO EXCITED DUE TO THE RUSH OF ADRENALINE I HAD EXPERIENCED. HE ADVISED THE DEALERS THAT HE DID NOT HAVE THE FLOOR MAT IN HIS VEHICLE WHEN THE FAILURE OCCURRED. HE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A GMC DEALER WHO STATED THAT IT COULD BE A COMPUTER FAILURE. I JUST NOTICED OTHERS HAD COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS ISSUE TOO ON YOUR SITE. I BROUGHT IT TO THE ATTENTION OF THE DEALER AND THEY HAD NO FIX EXCEPT TO REMOVE ONE OR THE OTHER ALTHOUGH THE STANDARD CLIP DOES NOT WORK WELL WITH THEIR MUDDER MATS. I WAS ENTERING THE HIGHWAY FROM THE RAMP AND PRESSED DOWN TO ACCELERATE TO MOVE INTO TRAFFIC AND THE TRUCK ACCELERATED AS HARD AND FAST AS IT COULD. I FOUND MYSELF HAVING TO WEAVE THROUGH TRAFFIC LIKE I WAS IN A NASCAR RACE. WHEN I FINALLY FOUND A CLEAR PATH TO THE SHOULDER I SWERVED ONTO IT AND SHUT THE TRUCK OFF. IT WOULD NOT SLOW DOWN AND I COULD NOT SHIFT INTO NEUTRAL. I HAD TO BE GOING ABOUT 60 AT THE TOP OF THE ONRAMP AND WELL OVER 100, PROBABLY FASTER, WHEN I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO SHUT IT OFF. I GOT OUT OF THE TRUCK TO TAKE A BREAK AND CALM DOWN AND UPON RETURNING TO THE TRUCK I NOTICED THAT THE "MUDDER MATS" I BOUGHT FROM A TOYOTA SITE SLIPPED FORWARD ENOUGH TO WEDGE ITSELF UNDER THE GAS PEDAL. I STAY AWARE OF THE POSITION OF THE MAT MORE FREQUENTLY NOW AND KEEP IT SLID BACK BUT THERE IS NO RESTRAINT FOR IT THAT WILL GO THRU BOTH THE FLOOR LINER THAT PROTECTS MORE OF THE FLOOR AREA AND THE MUDDER MAT ON TOP OF IT. I BOUGHT BOTH AT THE TUNDRA PARTS SITE. I HOPE THAT THERE WILL BE SOME WARNING FOR OTHERS MADE BIG AND DRAMATIC ENOUGH TO BRING ATTENTION TO THIS PROBLEM TO AVOID HAVING THIS HAPPEN TO ANOTHER. WHILE DRIVING AT APPROX. 55MPH THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL ON MY 2007 TOYOTA TUNDRA SUDDENLY DROPPED TO THE FLOOR BELOW MY RIGHT FOOT. MY TRUCK ACCELERATED TO FULL THROTTLE. THE CRUISE CONTROL WAS NOT ON. THE ACCELERATOR WAS NOT STUCK TO THE FLOOR MAT. THE TRUCK ACCELERATED AT A RAPID PACE AND NEARLY RAN INTO THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME ON THE ROADWAY. I ATTEMPTED TO STOP THE VEHICLE BY TAPPING ON THE BRAKES, THEN THE ACCELERATOR AND TURNING THE CRUISE CONTROL BUTTON OFF EVEN THOUGH THE CRUISE WAS ALREADY OFF. NOTHING RESPONDED AND THE TRUCK CONTINUED TO ACCELERATE TO A DANGEROUS SPEED. THE ACCELERATOR WAS "FLOORED" AND WOULD NOT MOVE. I HAD TO MANEUVER AROUND THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME AND SEVERAL THAT PASSED GOING THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION QUICKLY. THE TRUCK WAS GAINING SPEED AT AN INCREDIBLY RAPID PACE. I CONTINUED TO BRAKE THE TRUCK IN AN ATTEMPT TO STOP THE VEHICLE AND PREVENT LOOSING CONTROL. I THEN ATTEMPTED TO DOWN-SHIFT THE TRANSMISSION. THIS CAUSED THE ENGINE TO REV UNCONTROLLABLY. THE SAME HAPPENED WHEN SHIFTED INTO NEUTRAL IN AN ATTEMPT TO TURN THE ENGINE OFF WITH THE KEY. THE RPM'S WERE REVVING SO HIGH THAT I FEARED THE ENGINE WOULD BLOW UP. I PULLED MY TRUCK INTO A BOAT PARKING AREA ON THE ROADSIDE AND SLAMMED ON THE BRAKES WHILE PUTTING THE TRUCK INTO NEUTRAL AND TURNING THE ENGINE KEY TO OFF. THE ENGINE, BRAKES AND TRANSMISSION WERE ALL SMOKING FROM THE STRESS AND HIGH RPM'S. I HAD EXPERIENCED A SIMILAR UNCONTROLLABLE ACCELERATION ABOUT SIX MONTHS PRIOR (JAN. 2008) TO THIS ONE BUT WAS ABLE TO RECOVER QUICKLY BY HITTING THE BRAKES AND PRESUMED THAT IT WAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE CRUISE CONTROL. TOYOTA REPLACED THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL SENSOR ASSY BUT WOULD NOT SAY WHETHER THIS WAS THE CAUSE OF THE UNCONTROLLABLE ACCELERATION. THEY SAID THAT IT WAS POSSIBLY CAUSED BY THE AFTERMARKET FLOOR MATS THAT I PURCHASED AT THE DEALERSHIP. UNFORTUNATELY, THE PEDAL DROPPED FROM UNDER MY FOOT WITHOUT MY INTERVENTION. I WAS DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY AND I WENT TO PASS ANOTHER VEHICLE WHEN I GOT INTO THE NEXT LANE AND ANOTHER CAR CHANGED LANES IN FRONT OF ME AND I WAS FORCED TO SLAM THE BRAKES. BY THIS TIME I HAD ENOUGH ROOM IN FRONT OF ME, SO I LET OFF THE BRAKES AND THE TRUCK JUMPED LIKE I WAS HOLDING MY FOOT ON THE GAS. I ALMOST HIT THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME AGAIN.
