THIS COMPLAINT CONCERNS THE SAGEM FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM ON THE TRIUMPH TT600 MOTORCYCLE. THE ENGINE HAS STALLED ON ME ON FOUR OR FIVE OCCASIONS WHEN BRAKING FROM 30 OR SO MILES PER HOUR, WHEN I HAVE DISENGAGED THE CLUTCH. THE BIKE KEEPS STALLING AT "OFF IDLE" EVEN WHILE MOVING OR COASTING. IF THIS WERE TO HAPPEN IN A TURN, IT COULD LEAD TO A CRASH DUE TO SUSPENSION INSTABILITY. TRIUMPH IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM AND HAS DONE NOTHING TO CORRECT THE SITUATION.
FROM THE START, MY 2000 TRIUMPH TT600 HAS PERFORMED POORLY WHEN THE RPMS ARE BELOW 5K. THIS IS KNOWN DEFECT BY THE MANUFACTURER. THEY CORRECTED IT FOR 2001 MODELS. NO SUCH INITIATIVES HAVE BEEN TAKEN WITH THE 2000. THIS EFI PROBLEM HAS LEFT MANY TT600'S IN A DANGER SITUATION. THERE IS A TERRIBLE CHO...
