Front collision sensors and lane keeping sensor do not work in direct sunlight. For 2 hours in the morning and two hours at dusk. Sensors are behind rear view mirror and they do not work when sun is at eye level.

When in heavy fog, rain, direct light to cameras or sensor the safety features become unavailable. As soon as any of the above goes away they come back. This in my opinion becomes more of a risk driving these vehicles if the safety systems do not function properly.
