THE VEHICLE IS AN 2007 WITH THE 2.0T AND 96,000 MILES ON THE ODO. VW NOW CLAIMS THIS MODEL ISN'T UNDER ANY EXTENDED WARRANTY AND THAT MY CLAIM WOULD BE DENIED. NOW I AM FORCED TO FIGURE OUT A $2,500 REPAIR.

IT APPEARED THE O RING WAS TORN AND ALL FOUR O RINGS WERE REPLACED. THERE WAS A WATER LEAK INSIDE THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER ORDERED A SPECIAL ADHESIVE/SEALANT FOR THE CONVERTIBLE TOP. THE MASTER SWITCH THAT RAISED OR LOWERED ALL OF THE WINDOWS DID NOT WORK ON A CONSISTENT BASIS. WHEN THE DOORS WERE OPENED, THE FRONT WINDOWS WOULD GO DOWN, BUT THEY WOULDN'T COME BACK UP. THE REGULATORS WERE REPLACED. THE LEFT REAR WINDOW WOULD NOT GO UP AT ALL. THERE WAS A RATTLE COMING FROM THE CENTER OF THE DASHBOARD AT RANDOM WHILE DRIVING.
