2018 YAMAHA XV1900 Problems & Recalls

Manufacturer issued recall number 20V814000 in January 2021. Through telephone calls with repair dealer, I was told they did not have parts available. In April 2022, I visited repair dealer to have recall performed. Was told no part available. I have been waiting for more than six months for replace...

Cam/Lifter failure on many of these bikes (Venture and Eluder/2018 model). Mine hasn't failed yet but many have. Needs to be investigated as this is a major safety issue if it happens while the bike is on the road.

Engine unexpectedly sputtered and quit while traveling on a narrow two-lane road with no place to pull off to the side. Engaged emergency flashers to alert oncoming traffic. The bike would not restart. Was able to get a tow after a couple of hours. Mileage on the motorcycle was 19,354 miles. 1....
